Fantastic place and Jimmy is the man when it comes to tackle. He knows what you need, when you need it and gets it done quick. He was able to make a last minute change for us the last billfish tournament of 8 reels in 2 hours. Definitely recommend Jimmy

Chris was awesome! I’m new to offshore fishing and had tons of question. Chris took the time to talk to me and teach me. He helped me understand how to rig for offshore and why and what equipment I would need. I even learned some new knots today and we know those take time. Honest family serving their multi-ethnic community with excellent service, reasonable prices, and descent inventory!

This is the spot!! Every employee I met in this place was down to earth, knowledgeable, courteous and seemed to enjoy their job. What a difference that makes. I picked up my new sidearm and I'll be back no doubt. TONS of sport and tackle gear with employees giving the inside tips and tricks. I'm impressed!

Dropped off a rod and reel for repair, they did a great job at a reasonable price. The guy behind the counter was very helpful and answered all my questions. Will continue to purchase from them. They are a little more expensive than Academy but would rather spend a few extra $$$ to support a local business.

Great local shop with fantastic service. Brought a baitcast reel in that was not functioning properly. They asked if I had a minute to wait and after browsing around the shop for 10/15 minutes, I was back out the door with a functioning reel. Couldn't be happier.

Went here today and fixed my broken bail on my shimano symentre FAST! It was able to just wait a few minutes in the store and was gone. Price was cheaper than I was expecting. The 2 women that helped me were very nice and down to earth. First time I've been here but wont be the last.

First time customer, and noob angler here. First thoughts of the fishing shop... typical "mom and pop shop", with fishing rods, and goodies all over the place, but a nice warm feeling of organized chaos at it's finest. I was helped by a very knowledgeable staff member, Chris. Chris, was not only very helpful in answering/explaining all my bland cliche' rookie questions; but also built up a few rod options for me to play with in the store. Pricing? Well, not to get into too much detail of my sale, they KILLED the internet's pricing! Yet, another reason I shop local, the internet it NOT always the best! I'm hooked, (Pun intended), this is going to be my local fishing shop from here on! Thank you for the great experience Professional Sport Shop!!

Top notch for your fishing needs. Always friendly here, they know and have whatever you're fishing for. Fresh water, salt water, deep sea.....whatever kinda fish you looking for they have it. Would much rather keep my money local. Then spending it with the franchise names

Distressing to see a "local guide" (whatever that is) who specializes in poboy sandwiches and grocery stores give a bad review to a sporting goods business that has been in operation for 50 plus years. I wonder what sporting goods he actually wanted to purchase or was he just doing a "price check" on Google?
