With an always stocked inventory and a welcoming and helpful demeanor, Adam truly cares about creating and maintaining a positive skate culture in this little corner of east nash.

I visited Cecil's Skate Shop for the first time today. I was looking for a skateboard for my 5 year old and 11 year old daughters. I came away with everything I needed and more. The owner even built a complete for me on the spot. They had an amazing selection that covered virtually every type, style, and era of skateboarding. My girls loved their new skate gear.

Cecil's is a wonderful addition to East Nashville. The vibe is so friendly and fun. Adam, the owner, won't try to over sell you on things you don't need. He's helpful and just all around great. If you're in Nashville and you want skate gear, you can't go wrong with Cecil's!

Adam is a patient teacher, whether for an old lady beginning skater like me, or for the kiddos trying new tricks out front. Ask your questions, get your gear, stay for the skating (while you have some soft serve and pet the dog, of course).

Adam has created such a great space in East Nashville a true hidden gem for skaters ! Skater owned and operated, perfect park to tune up on your skills, meet a new friend, or just watch the skaters from the green lawn. The shop is stocked with all sorts of boards and gear alike. 100% a must stop if visiting from out of town.

Everyone is always super friendly. You'll find new skaters and pros chilling (seriously, Hosoi and Alva visited like the first 2 weeks this shop was open!). Shop closed? No sweat, just post up and skate the feature they built in front of the building!
