Excellent selection of products at good prices; top-rate customer service. This was the only business I could find the practice swords I needed for an upcoming class. Other sites with online presence seemed either sketchy (like amazon) or were totally price gouging (again...amazon). Because of inflation and supply-chain issues the prices on the website did not accurately reflect the actual prices of the items in the store. Instead of them just cancelling the order, they communicated with me and explained the issues and needed to add a small upcharge to cover costs; they provided me with options and I respect that kind of communication. They saved me time and still are providing good products at the best prices. I will definitely be using Rising Sun Martial Arts Supply again. We are lucky to have them as a resource in our community.

A nice little shop with alot to offer. Stopped in and talked to the owner and she was full of knowledge and all kinds of different martial arts. Had somthing for everyone and at great prices.

We went to this store because my son was looking for a martial art weapon to use during his Hwa Rang Do training. The owner was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very patient with an 11 year old kid. She talked to him to understand what he was looking for and let him explore the shop. At the end he decided for a staff and a pair of Nunchaku, but I never seen my son so happy about his choice. Fantastic!

My first weapons instructor brought me to the Rising Sun when i was 14 years old. The owner is knowledgeable, honorable and a true asset to the business and Disipline. Ive only ask for one return and with a.good debate, she took very good care of me. Lets keep her in Business and shop at Rising Sun for all Martial Arts goods. Its a classic and very rare👌💯

Ownership is passionate and has some of the best retail pricing on martial arts equipment out there. This is our go-to spot if we need extra belts, and now we're moving all custom ordered/personalized black belt orders over. Edit: The best custom black belts we've ordered! I'll happily pay a little more to support this local shop for their amazing service. Lyn went above and beyond to make sure our new black belts turned out the way we wanted.

I was a martial arts instructor from 1982-2000 and always purchased supplies from here. I had not been to this store for almost 20 years, when life took me in a different direction (or I should say the Army did). 2 weeks ago, I stopped in to look at equipment to work with my son. I was surprised that Lynn remembered my full name. That is simply amazing. They always seemed to have what I needed for good prices. I doubt you will find better prices, even on Amazon.

Honest, knowledgeable, friendly--what more can you ask? They have everything for the martial arts practitioner or enthusiast, and if by chance they don't have it, they can get it for you. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful; they are martial artists themselves, which is very helpful when ordering esoteric gear. They know and understand the needs of martial artists across a huge variety of styles. Outstanding and highly recommended!

When you enter the shop you'll meet Lynn, one of the coolest persons alive. My son has been wanting ninja shoes and after searching the web, I decided to go back to the Rising Sun and low and behold, she had exactly what he wanted. I went into the store to buy a bo staff. Lynn there was very helpful and friendly. I bought a bo staff that was accidentally too tall for me. I sent an email to Lynn about making an exchange. She was very prompt about responding and was quick to set aside the correct size bo for me so I could come in and make my exchange. It was very nice working with Lynn. I will be sure to shop there again!
