Wow! Besides the fact that they have sooo much gear and options to choose from, my experience with the owner Rob was top notch and I felt I needed to share. I came in yesterday looking for some cross country skis. He went above and beyond to help me try some on, do the paper test to make sure the fit and performance would be correct. They did not have, on the floor, the size I needed with bindings that fit my boots, and I was not prepared to purchase new ones, so he went in the back and found another option for me that he could put new bindings on and have ready for me in a few days. He was so helpful, met my customer needs before I even asked, just super great experience. Thanks Rob!

This place has the best customer service! I went into this location looking for a brake for my old rollerblades (every online store either didn’t have what I needed or was stocked out for a couple months). When they realized that they didn’t have my style in stock, they started looking for alternatives for me and ended up installing a new brake off an old system that they didn’t even sell in stores. They went above and beyond to help me out and I’m so grateful to be able to rollerblade for the rest of the summer!

The staff is helpful and their inventory is great. I purchased ice skates for my kids and my wife and I both purchased downhill skis, bindings and boots. Their customer service is excellent. The manager called me to let me know my bindings would take a day or two longer than expected b/c their ski technician had the flu and they were willing to transfer the fitting to another shop if he didn't recover w/in a few days. I greatly appreciated the proactive follow up.

We came here several months ago for tennis gear when my son decided to try his hand at the sport. Great selection for a fraction of the cost of new. Actually, they have new tennis balls as well as used. And then, we went there today to get ice skates for the kids and Dad, since we signed the kids up for lessons next month. They had a lot of options in both figure skates and hockey skates. 3 of the 4 kids found their skates just fine, but the fourth was difficult. An employee was a great help in getting various pairs of skates for her to try on, making sure we were getting the right size, adjusting the laces as needed, slipping them on and off. She felt like Cinderella! And as each one of us got our skates, they whisked them away to the sharpening shop and got them ship-shape. Some skates came with sharpening, others you had to pay an extra $6. Then the manager recommended covers for the skates, to keep the blades sharp and, more importantly, keep our kiddos' fingers intact. The soft covers were only $5, so we opted for that over hard covers. The kids' skates ranged from $20-$50. My husband's hockey skates were $90, but he's the one that will be on the ice with them when we go to outdoor rinks, so we felt that was acceptable. Overall, we spent about $250 for 5 pairs of skates, sharpening, and covers. That averages about $50 per person, which is surely way less than we would have spent for new. The employees and manager were all very helpful too!

I can appreciate the store for what it is. Used gear for a cheaper price. Here's the catch, I'm not sure the prices here were all that much cheaper..Stuff appeared to be marked a little high, but then again, what do I know about pricing on scuffed up helmets? Store had a lot of selection for all sports. Service was decent. I was in the store a total of 15 minutes and think the employees said three sentences total to me. All in all it was ok. I'd go back again just to see what they have for inventory, but might try to bargain due to prices.

Jim is probably the nicest guy out there. He’s extremely knowledgeable about a variety of sporting equipment. They have the best selection of equipment in the area out of all PIAS. He does drive a hard bargain for trade ins though. He also sat there and applied a face mask for my new helmet. Great spot.

It's akin to a garage sale. If u like that sort of unpredictable chaos, then this is your place. Walked in looking for a golf bag and was underwhelmed...walked around for 10 minutes and none of the 4 employees even bothered to say hi...much less offer help.
