We came here 2 times and both times the staff were super helpful and took their time to explain the difference between skates. As someone who did street hockey and is my first time ice skating the workers made me confident in the decision I was making to purchase my skates and stick. After purchasing my skates after 2 days I decided I wanted to upgrade them which you can do so up to 30 days after your purchase unless the skates are extremely beat up. They made it super easy and got me fitted for the next pair. This is the first time that exchanging an item that I purchased was not difficult. They were straight forward and did it quick! Definitely plan to come back here again for whatever I need for ice skating and hockey!

So very happy to have visited and purchased skates from Bauer Hockey Experience. The decor and atmosphere was beautiful and museum like despite it being a full sales store. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable from the Store Manager to the check-out staff. Their selection and stock of all equipment was immense and I had no problems finding the correct model and fit. It was highly impressive to have the indoor rink to test demo skates as needed to get the full effect before your purchase.

Sure would be nice if they would answer their phone. Tried and tried and ended up going to the store only to find they only had one of the sticks that my son likes. But boy oh boy do they have tons of $250+ sticks. My son plays 15u AAA, sticks do not last long and paying $1500+ for sticks this season is not something I can swing. No pun intended

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Always willing to help and make recommendations. Our girl went out of here way to try skates that may or may not fit our picky hockey player. If you didn’t know, Bauer is expensive and they rarely/never have deals/discounts. We spent $1,000.

Great Staff, great building and displays too. Unfortunately they did a horrendous job sharpening my skates (I’d guess it has to do with the automatic sharpeners they use instead of by hand) which caused a lot of problems while skating. Perhaps that’s something they could look into improving.

The customer service here is incredible. Not only do they know their products in depth and help you find the right fit and price, they consistently go above and beyond. When I brought in a broken skate for repair and they weren't able to do it, they referred me to another local shop and even called them on the spot to see if the repair could be done and find out what it costs. Nice, clean store with a lively atmosphere and helpful service. It feels like a very nice, spacious hocky locker room with music and the people that give off that vibe. We had quick, helpful service to purchase the skates that we wanted. The prices were nothing special but they didn't try to oversell us - we wanted quality skates for a casual skater.

The staff at this store are so kind. They figuratively bent-over-backwards answering my questions about their skates. When we asked about the small ice rink they have in the back and how they drive a Zamboni over it, he took us in the back, through a private door and gave us the VIP treatment by showing us the mini-Zamboni they use!

Our very first time at the store!! Nick was great on helping us find a helmet and when unable to locate one Nationwide was willing to go above and beyond to find what we needed. Also very helpful discussing sticks, let pads, and chesties. Having a goalie/goalie coach/goalie parent to gain information is priceless for a non-goalie mom. We will definitely be back!!

The store had lots of options and things to chose from. Unfortunately they did not have anything above a 940 for goalie helmets. Not even to try on! This was the whole reason for us going to the store. No one greeted us or offered assistance. The guy behind the counter stared down my son as we were leaving but still didn't say a word. I wouldn't need to go back.

We were in the Own the Moment store this morning and were so happy with our service. I wish I could give credit by name to the gentleman who helped us. We were purchasing a first pair of skates for my 4 year old nephew. The employee was absolutely wonderful with everything from fitting the skates to actually helping him on the ice! We've always had great service, but today the service was beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend this store to anyone shopping for Bauer gear. Great selection of Bauer gear, including ice, street, and inline. There are different areas to try different gear like sticks and skates. There are employees helping all the time. If you are looking for different brands, there is a Pure Hockey location about 10 minutes from this store.

Great experience at Bauer Hockey Experience this weekend! I was really looking forward to shopping here and it didn’t disappoint! Great facility with everything Bauer makes. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. I was slightly disappointed to learn that Bauer no longer owns the store and in fact is owned and operated by Pure Hockey. But as long as they keep stocking their store with Bauer gear, I’ll be a lifelong customer!

What an awesome experience! The staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful. I went into the store and told the associate that I was not buying skates but rather sizing some for next season. The guy was so helpful and spent about 30 minutes with my son showing us skates even with the knowledge that we were not buying skate that day. We are sold on Bauer! If you get a chance to experience one of the Bauer stores I highly recommend it.

I have been here with my teenage son who plays travel hockey twice now and both times have been incredibly impressed by the level of care and attention we have gotten from the staff. They are very knowledgeable and patient and never rush my son as he tries skates, sticks, helmets...you name it! This trip we were there for an hour and a half and the staff member helping us never left! Not only are the super helpful, but they don’t try to upsell you into unnecessary equipment! A huge plus when you’re already shelling out big bucks. Prices are comparable (and sometimes cheaper) than the same items in other hockey stores. If you have a player that likes Bauer, stop by!

Such an awesome store! Anders waited on me tirelessly, and was incredibly knowledgable on different skates in the Bauer line. The process was a bit overwhelming as I hadn't bought skates in a decade, but having someone like Anders explain things in Lehman's terms made the experience much more enjoyable. This is a great place for all your hockey needs. Not only does it have world class equipment and world class stuff but you can also test out your equipment on the ice. They have a rink for you to test everything on for that you can make sure you are geting the right things for you. The employees know their stuff and they are also super helpful. The place is super clean and inviting. I am more the excited to go back.

You know, I haven’t actually been to this store, but I have to give a big shout-out to the stores manager Greg. I don’t know his last name, but he was a huge help with finding skates. This place is a absolutely amazing!!! I tried on a few types and sizes of ice skates, and used them in their ice rink. How awesome is that?? If you're going to spend $1,000 on skates, it sure is nice to get the type you like and size right!! I was also able to test out all the different sticks that I wanted to.

Had an issue with the Toe-bridges on my sons goalie pads. Worked with Romeo and he made and stitched up custom bridges on both pads. Excellent craftsmanship, cutomer service and follow up. Told me if I had any issues with them to let him know and he'd take care of it. The other staff members are very friendly and knowledgeable as well. They will continue to get my business for sure!

Cool to have a store dedicated to Hockey. However its kinda like a car dealership. You get their brand only. I like Bauer but would like to compare to CCM , Warrior..etc. Staff was very helpful and my skates are always sharpened correctly.

I was replacing a 20+ year old pair of skates. With all the new technology, I needed help. Kevin measured my foot on the computer and determined the Vapor was best suited for me. After trying on several pairs I settled on the X800. Had to leave but came back 2 weeks later, Adam picked up where Kevin left off and didn’t miss a beat. Professional fitting, EXPERIENCED knowledgeable staff with a no nonsense sales approach made for a positive experience. Tough to find this level of service in retail today. Drive past the other shops and go straight to Bloomington (next to REI), you won’t be disappointed.

We wanted to get skates sharpened but who wants to wait an hour and a half ended up going to pure hockey again as this has happened more than once seems we hit there peak times unfortunately. Otherwise the store usually has everything one might need for hockey and have shopped there many times.

Was at the store last spring when we stopped at the neighboring store...Was recovering from foot surgery and was just looking around and the young man working said come back in a year and we'll get you going with new skates. Well yesterday was the day and I was a project will my odd sized feet. Doug was great as I monopolized about two hours of his time, asking lots of dumb questions as I hadn't been in new skates for 20 years. We tried on every version of skate so that I could feel the difference between them all and he showed me a whole new world of technology and how the boots form to your foot and deepness of my ankle in the boot, ect... Explained why my old skates were hampering me and completely wrong for my foot. Will be going back for a stick fitting for sure when I get back on the ice and trained back up...
