Great Board Selection & Great customer service. I had called wondering about their ShopBoards and they answered all of the questions I had. They were super nice over the phone and while I was in the shop to pick up the board too. On top of that their board selection was pretty solid and their Shop boards came in many different sizes and graphics. (All of which were SICK!) I’ll definitely be coming back for future boards or just some shirts,hats,shoes,etc. which they also had a solid selection in. AWESOME BOARD SHOP!! 🔥🔥

Extremely good inventory. I came in for a Baker board with camouflage griptape. Solid board for the price, the workers were very chill and respectful. Helping the community get the proper setup and getting more people involved in skateboarding. Keep up the work y'all!

Knowledgeable as well as kind. I have longboarded for over a year and had found most items online so I had no one to help with maintenance. I brought in my new wheels and asked for some help trading them out if I bought bearings and some lubricant. The staff showed me exactly how to switch my wheels and bearings and made me feel confident to be able to do it myself in the future. Highly recommend this shop!!!

Loved the energy the moment I walked in they were all laughing and having fun. They were super helpful when I was picking a board I've ridden skateboards before but I've never bought one this was my first one and I love it. they also told me about some good skate parks to try out in the area. Overall great experience I definitely will be returning for any future skateboard needs Update: My friends nuts broke off his board and they fixed them with no charge, then we left i got a awesome new skate board and some wheels ready to hit the parks

Brought a 12yo wearing a suit into this place. Expected some weird vibes cause we were quite overdressed for a skate shop. To my surprise, everyone was super cool and answered all my first-time board-buyer kid's questions. The clerk gave him some good advice and free stickers for his board. Great prices.

I have been going to Home Skateshop for almost 20 years. In my opinion, this is the best shop in Kentucky. Skateboarding at its finest. They have a great selection of product and very reasonable prices.

I rly love this place,I got my first board and the ppl were so friendly and helped me and answered some questions. They also mentioned that most of the workers are skaters themselves, so they can help a lot more with questions and advise rather than chain stores. I haven't gotten a lot of use out of it yet ,but as of now its comfortable. They were rly kind and explained things well.They also offered to help me in the future if I have any questions or anything (side note,they put the tape ,bearings,and wheels on for free) I didn't want to buy from chain stores so I'm glad I found this :]

Best skateshop in the city of Louisville, and they've been around for some time. They've got the best stock available locally, and they even have their own Home brand skateboards and clothes. Great place that supports the skate community in Louisville hands down. If you didn't know, Home Skateshop was one of the biggest movers behind the skatepark at Breslin. I think they're trying to get a lil something down in Portland too, so be on the lookout for that sometime in the future. Anyways, real cool shop, all the best brands, knowledgeable staff, great service (they'll put your deck together for you and all that good stuff), and completely fair prices.

By Far the Best place to go for ALL your skating needs!!! I went in with my daughter who wanted a good board. Got the whole Shabang!!!!! The guy was very helpful and patient when dealing with my indecisive daughter lol after 30 min of looking and picking out parts we were ready for assembly 👍 we decided to go for a walk and came back to an assembled board ready for action!!! Thank you Home Skateboard Shop for being So Awesome!!

I went there with my mother today. I have had a longboard previously, but wanted to get a regular skateboard. Right off the bat, the staff was very COVID-19 conscious, and was following all of the regulations. As soon as I walked in the door the staff was extremely helpful and walked me through the process on what would be best. They even assembled the board for me. I would 100% recommend this shop to anyone who asked.

I took my kids here this past weekend to get their first skateboards. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful they were here. From the advice given on how to select a board, parts, etc., to putting it all together, it was top notch service. Knowledgeable crew, great vibes, been a customer for 15 years. Used to be the only place to snag Nike Sb releases in a 100 mile radius! Place has always stayed true to the Ville and to their roots. You won't find a more authentic skate shop anywhere.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable which is important for new skaters. Unlike the national chain (that begins with a Z), the store is there for skateboard enthusiast who need parts and advice rather than just the new clothing trend in pretend skateboarding. Their prices are also fairly cheap and not much more than online so it is a great deal with you are in need of tools and want to support local skate shops (please do, no real skater wants only a Z in their town). The locally produced decks are also on par cost wise with online decks and are same quality so great deal all around.

This place is a third generation mom and pop skate shop with just a great "homey" feel. The staff are friendly and definitely have a passion for skateboarding. They have a good selection of skate decks, hardware, shoes, and clothes. I get most of my stuff from these guys and find myself just talking for a while. Remeber, support your local, don't shop Zumiez.

Having worked in a specialty retail store for 8 years I can really appreciate people that know their craft, product, and inventory well. No disappointments here at home Skateshop! The shop owner greeted me warmly and after asking the right questions, was quickly able to assess my needs and subsequently make solid recommendations . I picked up a pair of Nike hightops in Desert Camo (AESTHETIC) and my first skateboard. I love great brick and mortar retail shops and this right here is one of them. Thanks fellas!

I met one of the owners and got great service. I was given a pair of nike sb dunks as a present and they did not fit. I took them to Home Sk8 Shop and they traded me for a differnt pair that I wanted and fit just right! YOU CAN'T DO THAT AT ANY BIG CORP RETAILER! AND THOSE SHOES WERE NOT BOUGHT AT HOME SK8 SHOP! Awesome place to go if your a first time rider or been doin it for a while.. one on one with an employee that will address tour needs..i didn't feel pressured my 1sr time in we stayed within my price range..theyll totally put your board together from bearings to the type of deck..p.s try not to buy walmart boards and want to customize here.. might save you a trip..
