Not a bad outdoor / sporting shop. It would be nice if they could keep their prices a little more competitive. They do have a huge selection in about any category of outdoor life you can think of. The staff are fairly knowledgeable of the areas they work in and for the most part are very helpful. I just wish they'd stop trying to push the club card on you.

We really like Cabela's for overnight RV parking. They generally have good quality options for RVing and camping. This location was very accommodating by allowing us to park outside the designated RV parking area to find a flatter piece of asphalt. Very quiet and uneventfully evening... Thank you Cabela's!

I have never been to a more friendly retail store! Every single employee in the place constantly asks if your ok, If you need help, and there knowledge is 2nd to none! Huge shout out to the store manager, I believe his name was Zach? This guy is going places! I hope they value the employees they have! Great outdoor needs store!

We were traveling from Virginia to Michigan pulling a little travel trailer and discovered it was ok to park here for the night. After a nail biting drive through mountains in blinding rain, it was a blessing to find safe haven. After a meal at the Mexican restaurant nearby, we explored Cabelas. WOW. The taxidermy all over the store is beyond impressive with extremely detailed scenes. There is also a cool freshwater aquarium. I found some clothes I will need as we go north into Michigan. Everyone was friendly and the place, including restrooms was spotless. The variety is astounding not just hunting and fishing.

Absolutely love the spirit of the people hear , but you could hook your Active Duty and Veterns up a bit more than 5% if you can offord the man hours and costs of the flags that I've seen recently , I was shocked to hear about that percentage of a discount for our American Solders when I saw the recent patriotism at your store.

This store is so neat. I love all the animals they have around the store! They have a waterfalls and fish tank in the back of the store. The employees were helpful and answered any questions we had.

I love shopping at Cabela's. Recently we bought our children toy rifles, fishing poles and hats. But even if we don't have anything on our list to buy it's so fun to take my kids to look at the waterfall into the fish tank and their stuffed wildlife that's almost like going to the zoo complete with labels for each animal. The customer service has been great. The Christmas event was amazing. They had pictures with Santa by appointment or walk in. They even provided a free 4x6 photograph and great goody bags. We love Cabela's!

A safe, level, fairly quiet place to park overnight when traveling with your RV. There is a sign directing trucks and RVs to the right and around the building. Trucks park overnight there and air brake noise will keep you awake. They directed us to use the quieter area at the opposite corner of the large, well lit lot. Not overly bright. We walked to a restaurant. Will use again!

Dida pick up order at multiple counters due to ordering a firearm and then non-firearm items. Both counters had very helpful and courteous reps. Service was fast. I was greeted and asked if I needed help multiple times in my short time walking around. Great store with great people.

The store has friendly staffs. This was my very first time visit at the Cabela’s. They have a great variety of stuffs at the store. I checked out the guns they had at the store, they have a great variety of guns to choose from. I ended up walking out with 2 polarized sun glasses for a great deal. I would definitely recommend this store to other people. I would definitely return to Cabela’s again!!!

I needed a 36 volt trolling motor on or about june 11.had one employee say they were not available. Next day I called and Rick and Jarrett found three and got me back on the water for a big tournament I was fishing. They were first class!! This was a $3,800 trolling motor… but m disappointed with the first guy, but very impressed with the next two. Thank you Rick and Jarrett!!

Always enjoy visiting Cabela's. This time I sat by the fire and let hubby browse. Only problem I have is that things are so expensive. Unless it's a sale item, which is usually a great price, or is specific to that type of store, I try to go for items elsewhere in order to get them cheaper.

They never have enough people to actually help you at the store. Had one great employee help us in boots/shoes today (he actually found us and asked to help us) buy I spend more time hunting someone down or standing in line than shopping. I wish I was able to spend money at this store but is is exhausting to try and shop here. The bluegreen folks must be on commission because you are guaranteed they will always talk to you!

My wife and I always enjoy going to Cabela's, and they finally have restocked their guns and ammo. Like many other places, due to the covid outbreak their shelves were on the bare side for our last couple visits. We love everything that has to do with the outdoors and Cabela's usually covers it all. So if you are like us and have never been you should definitely give them a visit. The Charleston WV location is one of their smaller locations but there is still plenty of fun things to see and choose from.

The store was well stocked in very large. It was not busy at all during my visit. I was looking for specific items, and the staff approached me and were very pleasant to deal with and very helpful. I got everything that I went in for. My checkout experience was very pleasant as well, the cashier was very friendly and talkative. Absolutely awesome experience. It's not often you describe a store as an experience but that's what Cabela's is. Ever seen an albino catfish? They got one, alive and swimming around in a huge aquarium. The fishing department alone would take a day to adequately shop. If they make it, you can probably find it at Cabela's. I especially liked the reel display that lets you pick up and hold the reel like it would be on a fishing rod. Genius idea! No more fishing reels in plastic molded cases. Whether you like to fish and hunt, or you just like the outdoors, Cabela's is one place you definitely will feel like home... Just more awesome.

I love to shop here at Cabela's even though the prices are in my opinion a little steep on most of their products. I still love the shop here not just because of the wildlife and the aquarium and stuff like that but the customer service is pretty good too. And I can usually find what I'm looking for fairly easy. Of course it's typical of any men's r us store, plenty of guns knives and clothing and hunting things to choose from.

Store is clean and open, with most items easy to find. My only issue was i purchased a $400 item from Cabellas brand new out less than a month and they would not return without receipt . Item clearly had to have been paid for because required sales assistance to exit the store with the item but they would not return or give store credit without receipt, that the salesperson who helped me out of the store kept. This has happened more than once .

Great place to shop at! I love shopping here. For employees though I think they should allow comfort. Maybe associates would smile more if they wasn’t burning up in those khaki button ups. Those thick khaki shirts not comfortable at all. T-shirts that say Cabellas logo would be better comfort. Retail stores these days don’t do uniforms they do vests over their regular shirt. This being a country like store you would think they would allow comfort.

I like the over the top presentation of wildlife and outdoor scenes throughout the building. They have seemingly hundreds of animal mounts, including elk, deer, geese, wolves, a pouncing cougar, and more! The huge fish tank and stream is also pleasing to the eyes. Their products range from guns to socks and knives to gold clubs. Cabela's has pretty much everything you need for tennis, hunting, fishing, soccer or any other sport you can think of.

I shop at this particular Cabellas regularly and am always greeted with a friendly smile and hand shake. Cody in the fishing Dept. Always does a fantastic Job! The staff is very knowledgeable in their respective departments. They have a restaurant on site that is out of this world. The facilities are exceptionally clean and maintained. Always a huge plus stopping and shopping here.

My family had probably the best shopping experience ever. My 15 year was wanting to purchase a bait caster. An employee that went by the name of MULLET (because if his hair style) helped us. He was AWESOME. He explained in detail about the product so my son could make the best choice. Also did the same with baits. He then gave us some references for some good fishing spots. Great store with tons of outdoor equipment. Its rather pricy but they sell good brands and the quality is worth the price. The store itself is also beautiful inside and very clean and tidy. Also keep an eye out for their fudge, its sometumes sold in the checkout aisle and its delicious!

Cabela's is a nice place to go for your outdoor needs. It is always fun to spend time here and look around. It is always clean and the staff and super nice. My only complaint is price. Pricing is a little high compared to Gander Mountain but Gander Mountain closed so this is really our only option close to this area. We have bought things on sale here but for most of our outdoor camping needs we just go to Amazon. It is fun to look around though.

This is a really neat place to visit and look around at all the interesting wildlife displays. A little pricey for my taste, but I'm a recreational angler and don't need much in the way of equipment. If you need quality equipment, they have it.

Cabelas is always a fun stop. The have lots of different out door goods. The live fish are fun for kids and adults. The management/customer service is wonderful and went out of their way to assist me with an issue with my gift card. Lauren at customer service diligently resolved my issue for me. The products are not cheap here but the sales can be good. While not cheap in price the products arent cheap in quality either.

Maybe in the middle of an inventory switch? But usually in that case there are a lot of sale items and new stuff out. That didn't seem to be the case.

I ordered ammo on line and it was there for pick up as promised! Young lady with glasses helped me and was great! Don't remember her name though. Place is up on a hill in Charleston and was extremely busy, but I was helped with the ammo and got my hunting license in under thirty minutes!

I am and have been very impressed every time I have visited your retail store. The Outfitters are always friendly and willing to help and give advice. The last two times I have visited the Outfitters in the Fly Shop and the Fishing Departments, they were very interested in helping me. Upon recommendation of both Outfitters, I either purchased fly tying material or excellent baits for smallmouth fishing. These people are very easy to talk to and do not use pressure to entice a sale. In fact, the Fishing Outfitter stayed an hour past his quitting time just to talk fishing. I can't say enough good things about my experiences at this Cabelas store.

Plenty to see. Many animals taxidermically preserved and live fish to enjoy and experience. The animals are amazingly amazing! It gives you a real perspective as to how really large Grizzly Bears and Elk are. They even have "Moose & Squirrel!"

Cabelas has the widest selection of outdoor gear in the area. The store is very easy to get in and out of. Also the deli they have inside is excellent. You can try some game meat if so adventurous instead of the same old ham sandwich. Lots for the whole family in this store.

Stopping at Cabela's is an experience that is more than simply shopping. From the huge front doors and enormous hearth close to the entrance to the various taxidermied animals throughout the store, this is an outdoorsman's delight. You can find anything sportsman could possibly want here. Dont forget to run by the bargain cave to see if there are any deals too good to pass up. The gun library is a great opportunity for a hunter or gun enthusiast to dream about winning the lottery.

While on a hunting vacation in Logan, West Virginia the peep site in my bow somehow came out. The nearest archery shop that was open was the Cabelas in Charleston WV 60 miles away. Drove up and went to the archery counter where I met your employee Caleb Currence . He got me fixed up in no time and got my bow sighted back in on the range From the time he asked me if i needed help to the time i was ready to walk out the door, this young man was professional in every sense of the word. He asked me where i was hunting and I told him and he hunts the same area. Beings how i am from Florida and knew little to nothing about the area, he was more than happy to pull up a map and point out quite a few things in the WMA i was hunting. We traded hunting and fishing pictures and stories and treated me with the upmost courtesy and respect. He is truly an asset to your Charleston store.
