Just signed up recently but should have given thought to the fact that they are horrible with answering a phone. I also should have looked at the fact that the front desk rarely had an individual there. Now I can not schedule an appointment because they never answer the phone. I work in a retail location and not answering your phone is never good. Do better. Edit:Got a hold of a nice lady. She walked me through that it has been extremely busy and they are shirt staffed. The consultant who signed me up was extremely nice but should have gone over scheduling instead of moving me out the do quickly to make her next sale. Setting expectations for someone who is new and signing up should be a priority. Last edit: Natalie saved the day. I highly recommend this location. I haven't experienced another location, but I have to edit the fact that she contacted me to schedule a more recent appointment for my face. Awesome work.The technicians are so friendly as well.

Although the prices are slightly expensive, you can normally get started during a good sale to make it more affordable. The effectiveness of the treatments are definitely worth the investment. I've been going to this location for about 10 years for laser hair removal. I started with one area and added several areas over the years. Now I only need touch ups on occasion for one area. Overall, I've had great results, though some areas responded better vs other areas. Keep in mind that results depend on skin/hair type and the number of treatments. You may also have some very very fine hair after all the treatments (I believe 8 treatments) are completed. The technicians and staff are great at this location. All the technicians are licensed nurses and know what they are doing (many technicians are not at other med spas that offer laser hair removal and a technician can burn you if the technician is not appropriately trained). The services can be a bit pricey, but it's worth it to know all the technicians are license nurses and the treatment rooms/office are very clean. Everyone is very pleasant and professional. It's always easy to make appointments, and the office runs on time. There is a nice waiting area with water, tea, coffee and usually cookies, but I do not usually have to wait long when I arrive for my appointment. I would give a 5 star rating for the staff and service. I only took away 1 star and rated it 4 stars because over the years the policies (for example, on touch up treatments) have changed and the policies use to be more favorable to clients years ago.

I purchased a package during their Grand Opening of a new location. I have only had two of my nine treatments and will have my third next month. The treatments for my legs are spaced out between 10-14 weeks and you just make your next appointment when you come in for a treatment. I am super busy and even with a planner, I forget about my appointments. A girl always calls me about a week in advanced to remind me- thank goodness! I am SUPER pleased with my results so far. I have only had to shave once since my first treatment and it was just a few hairs here and there. I have medium-light skin and darker hair. So worth it!! They have the best staff and nurses. I love the spa feeling and it always smells amazing in there. The first time I was in there, they had cookies out so I was able to enjoy that with a cup of coffee while I waited for my treatment.

Love this place! Started laser hair removal in 2014 because I was embarrassed to have such dark unwanted hair. The atmosphere is spa like. The treatment providers are all nurses or nurse practitioners or physicians assistants and are very knowledgeable and friendly. The rest of the staff and management are just as welcoming and friendly. They were able to give me my confidence back and I no longer have to worry about the hair because it’s gone! I did have to visit them recently for a touch up and their new clinic is amazing! The touch up fee was reasonable and I learned it is locked in and transferable to any other Ideal Image in the USA in case I ever move! I highly recommend them!

I first had laser hair removal done in 2013 at Ideal Image (Newark, DE location). After 10 sessions, all hair in the area treated was gone. The treatments were performed by trained professionals and I was very satisfied with the results. Some years later, looking for a “cheaper” option, I purchased a Groupon pass from a spa. The results were certainly not the same and the level of professionalism displayed by the spa employees doing the treatments was by no means up to part to that of the employees at Ideal Image. Overall, I am very satisfied with the results from Ideal Image. I highly encourage folks to use Ideal Image versus spas that promote the same services. Based on my experience, the best quality and results are obtained at Ideal Image.

The pros I’ve experienced are 1) no ingrown hair and 2) slight improvement to the tone in the bikini area. The only con was the price. I would recommend this service, just think of it as an investment in your self care routine.

I spent the last almost 2 years going through laser hair removal at Ideal Image. The staff is professional and always very nice. They're great about sending multiple types of appointments reminders and in turn, super flexible with rescheduling (which I really appreciate since you do book like 2-3 months out at a time). While I personally didn't have the best results, I do still recommend Ideal Image for the most part. As it turns out, my skin was extremely sensitive to the laser and I actually ended up with burns a few times, but that's not something we could have known ahead of time obviously. So when it happened, the practitioners then adjusted strengths and were even more careful each time. *My only advice would be to be aware of the high pressure sales techniques they use to get you to sign up & start treatment immediately, because then you are locked in and the prices are crazy high. I was on the fence at first but I don't handle pressure well, so I do feel that I didn't have enough time to step back and do my own research, I was pressured into signing up and starting right away and I probably wouldn't have gone through with it if I had been able to do enough of my own research about my hair color, overall experience, etc.*

The technicians doing my laser hair removal have all been super kind and my whole treatment was not painful at all, and overall happy with the minimal hair growing back (even though I thought it was mostly all going to be gone) . I am done all of my treatments and I still have hair coming back which is one thing I am not happy with, which is why I am doing touch ups. But everyone could be different, depending on hormones! Other then that everything has been great. The only person who was very rude to me was the manager at the Christiana location.

I am so happy with my results from Ideal Image. I think that they are one of the bests in the industry because of the very scheduled plan they create with you. Part of why so many people don't have good results with laser hair removal from other places is because they are not consistent in going. Ideal Image works with you in creating a schedule of when you will come in for your next treatment. I think this is crucial and I am so glad I went with Ideal Image because I have had great results. I go in for touch up treatments now about twice a year. Honestly, best money ever spent and SO happy I went with Ideal Image. If they ever decide to call me back I’ll update this. I was a customer in Albany NY. Called this location since it’s my new local location and they said they’d call me when the paperwork came in. They have had the paperwork for well over 6 months. Update: I was able to finally get through to them and they were very apologetic about the lack of call back. Additionally the manager reached out to me after my touch up treatment and dealt with my concerns very quickly and effectively. My precious 1 star review is now a 4 star review and I will absolutely be returning for future treatments.

I have had a consultation and one treatment appointment for 3 areas. My next appointment is this weekend. I feel like I have excellent results already - particularly with underarms. I haven't touched them since. I definitely felt comfortable when I walked in. Everyone was professional, the treatments were fast. It never felt awkward, even though someone was in your private parts, haha. There were spots where it would hurt a little more and she'd give you a break for a second - but overall it was no different from tattoos I've had. It really didn't hurt that much. And it was so fast, anyway. Also, I brought extra makeup just incase... but I didn't have redness, welts or pain after. I do feel like it was worth it. I had always had bumpy annoying stuff after shaving in the bikini area. I was tired of that!

I move around a lot for work, so I have gotten treatments at a few different Ideal Images, and this one seems brand new. If you know me, you know I'm all about what's new. My babe used to get on me about the hair on my back, so I finally decided to have something done about it a few years ago. Now my back looks sweet, so when we moved to Wilmington I decided to start getting the back of my neck done, because it's one less thing to deal with in the morning when you're trying to get to work on time. I have had two different nurses treat me and they're both friendly gals who put you at ease before they light you up with the laser. LOL. It's totally worth it. I never have trouble when I come here. Everything is clean, quick and everyone is so nice and professional. I’ve gone to multiple people and every time they are calm (when I am definitely not sometimes lol) and communicative and it’s always an non-stressful experience. I wouldn’t go anywhere else
