Great massage experience here! Came here last Friday for a massage—their online booking is pretty straight forward and luckily they were open Christmas Eve! Was running a few mins late so I called them and the front desk was understanding but noted that they were booked back to back. When we arrived, they didn’t make us feel rushed and was very friendly. My massage therapist was great—she adjusted appropriately and overall the massage was excellent, I felt very relaxed. The room vibe was good too, dim lit with soothing music playing—there’s also a couch to put your clothes and belongings. An added bonus is they give first time clients $10 off and you get free hot stone with your massage!

Everything was excellent!! I would recommend this spa to anyone and will be sure to come back whenever I'm in town. The environment is peaceful and clean and the prices are very good for the level of service you will get. Ben did an amazing job focusing on my specific issues. I have had so many generic massages and I can tell when someone is very skilled and really makes the effort to personalize the massage. My mother had a massage with a female therapist and she had a great experience as well.

This was one of the best massages I have had in a while. I was running over 10 minutes late to my appointment and the staff was super friendly from the start! They checked me and my friend in very quickly and we got started on the massage. My masseur paid very close attention to my problem areas and took her time to deliver a really quality massage; you also are given the opportunity to take advantage of complimentary hot stone with your first massage; soooo great! Also, I was still given a full hour even though I was late. The facility was very clean and calming. Will definitely be back!

This was one of the best massage experiences I've ever had. The service was friendly. The place was beautiful and clean. As a first time guest, they offer free hot stones and aromatherapy. After your massage ends, they offer hot tea. I had a 2 hour full body massage with Sergey, and he was absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend this place.

I had my first massage yesterday and was amazed! The atmosphere is so relaxing, quiet, and welcoming. Location is great - even if you're driving there's a garage across the street. Fantastic service all together. I got there so stressed out after a long day and my body was in total pain. Larissa suggested a deep tissue massage, and at the end the pain was gone. She made me feel very comfortable and was very professional. Definitely coming back and strongly recommend.

Zhorge greeted us well, and we enjoyed our couple massage. The room feels clean and has a good ambience with a good aroma and dim lighting. Very relaxing. Good location to then go explore in the evening for dinner.

This was easily the best massage I've ever received in my life! I briefly described my areas of concern and Michelle provided expert treatment. Her attention to detail was second to none. In addition to the high quality massage, the spa facility is very nice. The waiting room is lovely. The spa offers a variety of hot tea, water, and chocolates. The rooms are private and calming. The massage tables are heated and comfortable. I will absolutely return.

I've been coming to Etalon for the past few months exclusively with Sarah! If you like medium to deep pressure, Sarah is the masseuse for you! I LOVE deep pressure so her technique is PERFECT for me! She also introduced me to the cupping massage which was just what my back needed. It's amazing how the cupping identifies trouble zones instantly! The facility is cozy, clean and efficient. I love that the rooms are always the perfect temperature [never to cold]. This spa is not elaborate as some other spas I've visited [no sauna, showers, or other amenities... other than tea and chocolate that is 🙂], but the services offered meet my needs and allow me to get my selfcare in afterwork without feeling like I have take off for a whole spa day. If you are looking for friendly place with great customer service, excellent massage offerings and don't need the extras.. this is the spot for you!

I had a great experience at Etalon Day Spa. Anita was my massage therapist and she was phenomenal. She asked me what pressure I wanted and what areas I wanted her to pay attention to. She took care of those areas as well as everywhere else. I was in heaven. This spa is clean and easy to find. There is garage and street parking. I will most definitely be returning in a couple weeks to see Anita!

I have gotten a couple massages here now and have always been happy with the entire experience. Most recently, I received a 90-minutes massage from Toey and she was great. She was sure to ask where I wanted the massage to focus and how I was feeling throughout the massage. She was great and I will definitely be coming back for more massages!

One of the best experiences for a massage therapy in DC metro area! Alex and Anita both were phenomenal and professional therapists. I almost fell asleep during the session. Beautiful music and warmth in the room! Complimentary hot stone was a bonus! One suggestion is to provide clean towels for the clients afterwards.

My 2 hour aromatherapy massage was heavenly! My therapist Toey spent a few minutes with me to understand the areas that I wanted to focus on. She applied the right amount of deep pressure where I needed it. I received the hot stone which was free for first time visitor and that helped to loosen my muscles. I didn't realize how quickly the time flew because I was so relaxed and Toey explained everything she was doing and answered all my questions throughout the process. She was literally amazing!!! So kind and wonderful, with an outstanding strong massage that did wonders. She focused on all the areas I requested and changed up the pressure when necessary to take care of some tight spots. Great experience. I called to book and was provided great customer service and very flexible availability. I arrived early (30 mins not on purpose but traffic was less than I expected). I was greeted and server immediately, even after telling them there was no rush I was happy to wait. The room and whole business is extremely clean, def a must for this type of service. My therapist was so nice, he asked a few questions to make sure he fully understand my needs, then he gave me some simple instructions to get ready. He returned in the appropriate amount of time and was sure to knock before coming in. He provided the most amazing 1 hour hot stone massage. Literally head to toe bliss. He used the appropriate amount of pressure, heat, and oil. After I was done, I was given plenty of time to get dressed, use the bathroom, and get myself together. At checkout the lady was super nice and offered me snacks. I was surprised with a first time discount. I will 10000% return. I am so happy I found this gem in my backyard. Highly recommend 10/10.

The spa is nicely decorated and provides the best atmosphere to prepare you for your personalized service. The bathroom is large, clean, and accommodating for your personal care needs. The spa room had the perfect lighting and music to set the mood for a relaxing experience. Sergey was a consummate professional, taking extra care to understand my needs and apply the right pressure. I've had massages before, but this one was the best ever and a first for me at this new location. I will be a returning customer.

The front desk staff was professional and took time to listen to what I asked for and recommended Serge. Serge was the best masseuse I've ever had and I've been consistently getting massages for a while now. After my massage, I found out he's usually always booked. I hope I can get an appointment with Serge on my next visit to DC.

Amazing experience! It was easy to book online and when I arrived, they were so kind and welcoming. Sarah is absolutely amazing and took the time to understand which parts of my body were in pain and how to treat them. After I told her that I sit at a desk and type all day, she also took time to massage the tendons in my hands, which relieved a lot of pressure. I got a 60 minute deep tissue massage, and since it was my first time at Etalon, I got complimentary hot rocks—which were amazing! I’ve had a lot of massages in my life, but this has to be the best so far. I left feeling more rejuvenated than I have been in years. Would highly recommend! 20/10!

Etalon Day Spa is a hidden gem in downtown Washington, D.C. My partner and I decided to have a couples experience and were thrilled to find Etalon conveniently located just a quick walk from our hotel. Our massage therapists were the fantastic Sara and the fabulous Sergey. Each of them listened to what we were looking to achieve from this massagewhich was to relax and de-stress--and they catered and customized our massages accordingly. The massages we had were one of THE BEST we have had and we travel internationally to at least 7-10 countries annually. I would highly recommend Etalon Day Spa if you like to support local businesses, if you want an exceptional massage, and if you deserve pampering. 10/10. Will definitely be back.

Left much to be desired. Booked couples massages for my husband and I to help celebrate our anniversary. The reviews were strong, so I felt confident that I would have a great experience. Unfortunately, it fell pretty short. Not sure if my expectations were too high or if I just didn't get a great massauese, but my massage was lack luster to say the least. I've had numerous massages, from prenatal to deep tissue and have a pretty solid baseline from which to compare. This was awkward, lacked any flow and technique was really inconsistent. He barely touched my feet and the "scalp massage" was basically him just shaking my head around and squeezing my temples. It was a mess from start to finish. At one point he just left my arm hanging off the side of the table; once I lost feeling I brought it back onto the table only for him to throw the blanket over it. All this to say, it was far from relaxing and I was actually counting down until it was over. Like what? Thankfully, my husband seemed to have a far better experience and was very happy with his massage. I appreciated the acknowledgement from the woman at the front desk who discounted my service but I will be trying other spas in the future.

I'm not from the area & scheduled a Couples Massage for my honeys Birthday since we were in the DC area celebrating and I must say the courtesy we received from the walk in the door until we left was superior. Front desk attendant was nice enough to let us have his parking space in front of the Spa because we kept circling the blocks trying to park. The ambiance of the rooms was amazing, bathroom & rooms were very clean and they were professional. Our massage was very rejuvenating and I loved the different techniques used in my massage and use of hot stones incorporated, that was the extra touch to my service. I would definitely suggest anyone looking for a Couples massage to come experience the amazing works at Etalon Day Spa.

I have been twice so far and both times have been soothing, luxurious, relaxing and pampering. The rooms have dim lighting, soft music and beautiful art work. Sergey asked me which areas I wanted to focus on and he made sure to prioritize them. I asked for a deep tissue massage the first time (and a slightly less-pressured version the second time). The next day my body felt so good! My hip issue was gone, my shoulders weren't tight and I felt rejuvenated. There were some knots and other things I could feel being worked out during the massage and it was so satisfying. Thank you Sergey!!

My wife had a wonderful pre natal with Larissa. Since wifey got pregnant we havent been able to sleep well >> she cant find a comfortable position. That night, after the massage, she slept like she used to before getting pregnant. And no joke, I am scheduling one session with Larissa soon and I will make sure my wife gets a Massage at least every other week until the baby is born.

Had a deep tissue massage and cupping with Sergey...my my my...let me just say I wish I could clone Sergey and take him to work, and after every surgery have him attack my muscle tightness and knots. Due to Sergey utilizing the right amount of pressure and recognizing where most of my tension and tightness were, I was able to begin working out again! You need a magnifying glass to find any dust bunnies or dirt as the place is impeccably clean. Sergey was very professional and tactful. Already booked my next session!

Last week I had a woman named Jasmine , who was THE BEST massage therapist I’ve ever haddddd! I immediately booked with her again for the following week. I just had a massage with Glenda, I was expecting Jasmine BUT OMG Glenda different style and technique but ALSO HANDS DOWN AMAZING!!!!!! I def recommend this spa to everyone! And the rates are not expensive and def worth the price!!!!! Best spa in the DMV hands down! I’m kind of excited to see what all of the therapist offer!

The massage therapist was amazing - the best massage in DC by far for personalized service, and at an incredible value. Everything was great for my first post vax massage. Walked in with a messed up back and shoulder and walked out feeling like a million bucks. Sergey was the best and really able to get in and work on my shoulder. I asked how long the spa had been here and how they got started. Apparently a few of the therapists that own the spa used to work hotel spas in the area and decided why not trying to work for themselves cutting out the hotel mark up. Very clean, very professional, easy to book online, nice and relaxing atmosphere. It's not a resort spa, so they don't have locker rooms, steam rooms, hot tubs, etc. but the convenient location and value can't be beat.

Best massage place in DC! I come here at least once a month and see Sara. I first came in because my feet and quads were hurting from not working out during by the pandemic and then trying to exercise again. I always walk out feeling much better! In the winter months they had free hot stones. Your first appointment they give you $10 off and free hot stones. I love this place!

Great place, comfortable and very professional, friendly staff, beautiful place and very clean. Sarah took care of me and was explaining to me every move and making sure I am comfortable. I’ve been visiting Etalon Spa regularly since their opening last year. I get aching muscles frequently as a result of my regular routine. My doctor recommended to try massages to relieve the tension in my back, arms and legs. I found Etalon at walking distance from workplace. Sergey, my therapist, never disappoints. He really understands my body and the pain that comes along with my fitness routine. He is great on breaking out the knots and soothing my aching muscles. Plus, the booking is very straightforward, it also has a friendly service and nice amenities (clean bathroom and silent massage rooms). Would highly recommend it.

I cannot recommend her enough. She applied the perfect amount of pressure and was knowledgeable and worked to break down the knots in my back. At the end of the session I honestly wanted to give her a big hug (I didn’t because of COVID). They took COVID pro cautions seriously and I felt the place was clean and safe.
