I’ve had back problems for years and have seen many massage therapists. Peter is one of the best I have seen. He’s very personable and easy to talk to. His massage technique is excellent. He’s able to find the right spots and work the muscle until it releases. I’d recommend him to anyone in the DC area.

I get massages once per month and have visited many places in DC. Peter and Ascend Massage came highly recommended by a friend of mine. Rarely could I find a therapist who can provide a good amount of deep pressure. However, once I patronized Peter, I must say that he is the best massage professional I have ever seen. He has very strong hands and applied very firm pressure on my upper back and neck. My headache and back tightness were immediately gone after we finished our session. His practice is conveniently located at Dupont circle, it's very clean and is decorated beautifully. I highly recommend his practice to people who suffer from chronic upper back and pain like me.

For context, I get massages almost every two weeks and also have some training back in college so I’m rather picky of who I go to. I have been trying new massage therapists e since I just moved to the area and looking for my go-to place. I think I just found it. This was by far the most effective, thorough, and relaxing massage I’ve had in the DC area and in general. Petar really makes sure to ask where your problem spots are and massages all the muscles and fascia related to the those areas. He also incorporates stretching so that the problem areas he massages can be further worked. He’s very thorough and even gave me extra time since I was slightly early. Most massage places I know have a clock in their room that’s slightly ahead so they can end earlier than expected or not give the full value of the massage. I’ll be back for sure!

Recommended through a friend and been a regular for 5+ years. Petar’s massages are therapeutic and relaxing. I prefer deep tissue and sports massages; either way, a great massage. If you’re staying at a hotel, treat yourself here instead of overpriced hotels. If you’re local, try it out and make yourself a regular. Either way, Petar’s massages are a great way to kick start your self care goals.

I am a mid-20s female and this was my first massage in quite a few years. My friends got me a gift card for my birthday and I was able to easily schedule the massage it online. I chose the signature massage (combination of Swedish and deep tissue), but the actual massage ended up being primarily deep tissue based on my needs. Peter is great - very professional and clearly very experienced. I mentioned that I was a runner with significant pain in my hips and he really focused on that area throughout the massage. This is a no frills place, so if you are simply looking for a great quality massage that is receptive to your needs, this is the place for you.

I had asked Peter for a super high-pressured deep tissue/sports massage focused on my right hip due to chronic pain. It was the best I’ve ever had. He is good at checking in to make sure the massage is meeting my needs. The facility is clean and conviently located just south of DuPont Circle. Pethr has been my favorite masseur for many years.

This is such an easy review to write because Petar is such an amazing massage therapist for many reasons. I am usually super picky and never find someone strong enough for my back but Petar has magic hands and he knows the body very well. It is clear that he is a real professional, courteous, always on time and an unbelievable massage therapist.
