Amazing and friendly, stylist Burcu H. gave me a wonderful mens hair cut, had great knowledge, interacted with not only me but clearly multi-tasked with her three assistants in a professional way, and didn’t even make me feel like I was invisible. Had engaging conversation, and made me look and feel like a million bucks. Looking forward to return!

I wanted to write this review in case someone, like myself, stumbles upon this salon and expects the pricing to be on a sliding scale dependent on the difficulty of the haircut. The website lists women's haircuts as ranging from $45-$100. I was charged $85 (or around that price) for the stylist to basically even out my hair into a one-length bob. I went in asking for an angled bob, but the stylist was honest and let me know that she wasn't comfortable with stacking. I said that was fine, but still wanted an angle in my hair. My hair ended up being much shorter than anticipated and all one length. It looks a little wonky as it is growing out, but I won't be able to really get it touched up elsewhere until there's enough length to work with again. I could have gotten this haircut at a chain salon for a quarter of the price. The stylist was incredibly sweet and friendly - everyone at the salon was welcoming. However, I was really surprised to see that such a basic haircut was over $80.

I’d never dyed my red hair before but I’d been wanting to get a blonde bayalage for a while now. I finally decided to bite the bullet and try out Depre’s after reading such great reviews and WOW those reviews didn’t lie!!! The salon itself was beautiful and all the people working there were so so nice. Everything was timely and professional and Kristi gave me EXACTLY what I wanted! She kept my natural red undertones while adding a beautiful blonde. 😍 I’ll definitely be back when I need a touch up!

I have been visiting Dupre’s salon for about two years, I originally wandered in just to get my eyebrows waxed. But what continued to have me coming back was the experience and high quality of service that Ashley, the esthetician gave me. I now have the membership for the Brazilian wax and the facial each month and I always look forward to seeing her! She knows what my skin needs and tailors each visit around that! She is such a kind person and has a such a great spirit. If you want a relaxing facial or suffer from acne like I do, or “used to” then you should definitely go see her!

Burcu is AMAZING! I found her a few years ago shortly after moving to the area and thank goodness I did! I have a pixie cut which had been butchered by two other salons and somehow she was able to turn it into something amazing. I have not let anyone else touch my hair since. She does my cut, color, brow tint and brow waxing and never disappoints. Top notch talent and so much fun to chat with during your appointment. I will be moving later in the summer and plan to make the three hour round trip to keep seeing her. :)

Finding someone who truly is a knowledgeable skin consultant can be hard to find as I have visited many spas in the 757. However my fortune quickly changed when I visited Dupre’s and had a facial done by Ashley. She did an amazing job making feel relaxed and provided expert level recommendations on how to keep my skin healthy and hydrated in between treatments. I travel 90 minutes to get my hair done at a quality salon. I started with Taegan years ago and stayed when she left. I love my color from Jaime; she does a great job in helping me integrate my grey hair with color. Matt is without a doubt the best for cuts. Not only does he cut with precious, he is the only stylist to gives a scalp massage with the shampoo. I feel like a million bucks when I leave his chair!

The best in VB! All the stylists are professional and do a great job. It rivals hair salons in big cities. Plus It’s the only salon I know that follows guidelines for COVID. Everyone wears masks and social distancing is enforced here. I highly recommend it.

I have been going to this salon for years. Their service is top notch. Jaime and Corey are the best. I cant say enough good things about how good they are. Jaime has taken my hair to a new level and Corey keeps it going when Jaime isn't available and they both do a fantastic job!! I am a travel nurse and can't always make it to the salon when I am supposed to but thats ok. Jaime and Corey always somehow find a way to fit me in and fix my hair no matter how bad it is. Superb salon. I will never risk going anywhere else!!

As I've aged, my skin has become very sensitive. Some hair dyes really irritate my skin. Between my lovely hairdresser, Micha, and salon manager, Diane, they were able to mix something that they ordered especially for me, into the dye to make it easier on my skin (I had no reaction to the dye). Esthetician, Ashley, also helped me to find a skin regimen that would be better for my sensitive skin. This attention to detail and the care they give to their clientele is what makes Dupre's Salon a wonderful, friendly place to be. Everyone there is very professional and personable. You can tell they all treat each other like family and they pass this on to everyone who goes there.

Dupre's is the best! Everyone is always nice. When I walk in, I am usually recognized at the check-in station, unless there is someone new. I am offered something to drink, and I am treated courteously. The best part is having my hair styled by Matt. He is able to cut and style my hair just the way that I want, and sometimes, just the way I didn't even realize that I wanted. While he recommends products for my hair, he never tries to sell me on them. He takes the time to listen to me, and he remembers my concerns. My haircuts are my treat to myself!

Had a really good first time experience here. I liked the professional setup of the salon. Was impressed by the fact that the complimentary coffee wasn't that cheap stuff, but a cappuccino machine with a milk frother and everything! It speaks volumes when a business cares about something as simple as the quality of free coffee they offer their guests. I just came for a haircut, but my stylist did a good job and made my mane look beautiful. I will be back and I recommend them to others.

Loved it all!! By far the best Hair Experience I have had in the 5.5 years I have lived in Hampton Roads!! I was so happy they were able to fit me in last minute and even better they gave me Matt!! The salon cares about a fine experience, including the elegant and pleasant modern decor, high-end hair products, full range of services, and experienced hair stylists! Nancy Jean is great - she does a wonderful job (color, cut and style) with my blonde hair. She focuses on what the customer wants, in addition to being warm, friendly and thoughtful.

As always Jay and Kristin did not disappoint! They are the best team when it comes to handling all hair issues. I am in the process of letting my hair go natural (grey hair dont care) and the art and skill of blending in extensions to help in this process has made me feel beautiful again. If you want a fantastic massage go to Dupre's. The girls are amazing and they know what they are doing. The added perks are also lovely. You get paraffin hands and feet plus a warm aromatherapy towel around your neck. I've also had my hair cut their several times plus my eye brows sculpted. Racheal did a great job on my hair, she really knows what looks good for my hair type.

Just got my hair highlighted and trimmed yesterday. I was very surprised to see the price tag at the end of the appointment. Hair cuts are advertised on the website as 35 and up and highlights are 65 and up. My final cost was 200 dollars. I had no warning of this before I got to the front desk to pay. There should be more transparency to your prices. I will probably not go back due to this alone. The color and trim was done very well but I've had equally good results for less money in the past. I'll go back to my other salon.
