I've been coming here for years, and always get the 1 hour "foot massage" which includes arms, back, legs, neck, etc. The price was $29 for many years, but its been raised recently like everything else in Seattle to $40. And I always leave a $10+ tip which means I can still get a massage for around $50 including tax. Its not fancy, but the equivalent at many places is $100+ not including tip and tax. If you find someone you like, you can also ask for them by name when you call to reserve, usually same day. I've had massages in Xian and Beijing, and for me, the guys here are just as good if not better. Best ambiance was in Ubud, and another cool place is Cağaloğlu Hammam, but those are far away.

Very good massage. Got the 2 hour: 1 hr table, 1 hr foot. Full time, good pressure, excellent work, no hassling for tips (which I happily added). Privacy for the table, recliner for the foot. 5 stars against other Asian/International District massage parlors. Expect: lower rent type place, a preference for cash, and good value for your money.

This place is great. Very friendly staff greet you at the door while soothing music plays in the background. I found Mandy, and Justin to be top notch workers. Providing stress relieving massage. I have been going in for a lower leg injury, and Mandy developed a routine that has helped the healing to begin. This place is a once or twice a week break from the daily grind.

I’ve been going here for years. You get what you pay for. Pros, $28 cash for an hour massage, most masseuses are great, apply good pressure, and are courteous. Cons are the chairs are bit the most comfortable, at times you can smell cigarettes on the masseuse hand, and they demand a larger than 15% tip. I recommend it, just know what to expect.

First time, and I will be back! The gent who massaged me, was very skilled and did an amazing job. First time outside the “traditional” massage therapist, and I’d say this gent was as good if not better. And for $30, you can’t beat that! Given that massages are done in a group setting, I can see it not being for everyone. However, I felt very comfortable and was more than relaxed. Go!

Message was great, I love when they climb all over me, pull my arms etc. Don't expect a gentle massage, the lady I had was digging in and getting stuff moving as they usually do at these kinds of places. It is across the hall from an event center so the music was really loud tonight (Saturday night at 9:15-10:45 ish). The massage chair didn't stink as I saw in another review. I got the 75 min massage for 46.00 (CC). They massaged front and back, arms, hands, head, neck, feet, legs Employees don't seem to know English so if you need the bathroom it's in the back left corner.

You get what you pay for but I highly compliment this place for always finding a way to get me in without an appointment. Ive visited multiple times and always was greeted and shown a chair. They are professional and I always come out feeling refreshed from the $28 1 hour foot massage. The establishment is clean but you are going to smell delicious dimsum from the restraurant across the way. Noise is also louder than a western massage experience but does not take away from the experience/service. Pro Tip: Bring cash, using a card will incur a fee.

Oh my goodness. I went in to imperial foot massage for a company trip for an hour long foot massage expecting mid-class service. (I have a couple massage therapists in my family) but I left very, very impressed. I had had an asthma attack over the weekend but this was so relaxing. And it wasn’t not only a foot massage but from forehead to toes. It was amazing.

I have been here like 4 or 5 times and loved it until today. Had a wet used towel as cover, where I put my nose smelled like an ash tray and the lamest massage where all the others were incredible with no complaints. Also realized today they charge $2.00 to use credit card.

It "hurts so good". I have a sensitive body/feet but I have never felt like it was way too much for me. If you are very sensitive or have an injury, tell them beforehand. Some of the massage therapists (if that's what they are called) are better than others, but I have never left and regretted my decision to go. Sure, you are in a slightly noisy and crowded room most times. But at $27 for an hour, it's worth it. I always leave feeling relaxed.

First timer. I had read some reviews and thought to try. Here are some thoughts that I must have missed in my reading. Be absolutely silent. Some lady rudely said to me, “Don’t you notice that only you are talking?!?” I was whispering and asking what I needed to do since the Asian massage guys seemed to speak only some standard English phrases necessary for the job, ‘One hour? On back. Finish. Tip.” I didn’t know where to put my stuff and such as a first timer but apparently I was to intuitively know the answers. (In a small basket) Maybe there should be a sign at the entrance to be silent upon entry into this odd dimly lit room of 20 or so bodies covered in white towels, reclining in chair inches away from each other . Quite the sight. The chair is extremely uncomfortable. The various angles were awkward as he painfully poked, kneaded, pulled, mashed, and slapped. I’m going to assume acupressure takes a certain degree of deep pressure points to achieve benefits. But it does hurt. NOT a light floofy Swedish massage experience at all! Surprisingly, after wincing at each of his massage movements on my face, leg, feet, shoulders, neck, back, and arms for the the entire hour, I did feel great when I left. Lastly, expect to tip $5 more per person. He even quickly came outside to grab the missing $5 tip for my husband’s massage guy. Since it’s $28, $5 is a 18% tip!

Good for the money. I recommend this place. I go often and like all foot massage places you get a lot of different people and communication can be a challenge so the massage is always one if a kind, but Imperial has the best record with me as a place I would choose to go. I've been at least 20 times and I will continue to go back.

I shouldn't share this with you! I want to keep this fantastic massage place my little secret!! I don't want to tell you what a great deal it is; that for under $30 (cash price), you can get a 30 mins foot/leg massage, then a 15 mins back massage. You didn't hear from me that there's a 10 visit frequent visit card (1 free after your 10th visit). But, I will tell you that the the comfy chairs don't have a comfy "face hole" for the back massage. Another bonus: there's free 2 hour parking in their garage.

Nice massage but the place felt so tight. Definitely did not waste any space as there is a massage chair in every corner. The place is right across a busy chinese restaurant so it can get really noisy especially when patrons leave the door open. Difficult to relax. Owner should install a door closer.

I love this place!! Like most food massage places they have rows of community massage chairs, but there are also a few places in back for a private massage. It is very inexpensive, but the massages are first rate. Call ahead to get on the schedule because they are always booked.

AMAZING!!! A full body massage for just $40!! you enter this funny dark room with two rows of velvet red recliners, they cover your eyes with a towel, put your feet in a bucket of hot water, and start rubbing all over. By the end you feel pleasantly light headed and relaxed like a noodle! Plus you get a punch card and can a free massage after 10 purchases! Fantastic!

Great Chinese body massage, head massage, foot bath, foot massage for a really good price. I usually get the $27 standard cash-only 1 hour and tip $5. The chairs are really comfortable, though it is a big room with about 10 comfy seated adjustable to lying down massage chairs all at work at once. But it's not a problem because the room is darkened and they use light towels as eye masks and separate bigger ones as blankets as needed. Like most traditional massages I have had in town, clothes stay on but shoes and socks come off and you have to pull your pants up for the foot soak. Take note if wearing skinny jeans... Leggings are better. Best to call before (even 15 mins before) and leave you name and number with the time you want to come in or it might be too busy and they might not have a lot of spare masseuses. There are also lots of drop ins.

This place can be good or bad it really depends on who you get or are I guess. I’ve been going off and on for years and today called before we showed up because there have been a lot of closings of “foot massage” shops. We showed in time and the gentleman approached someone that stepped up after me and asked if he had an appointment and proceeded to make him one. Then he look to the next men that came along after me and asked them to which I finally interjected that I had. My husband stepped up and said he was with me and was ignored when I said for two people. The odd laughter when I came out of the bathroom was strange also. Besides that he got a scalp massage and I did not. Hum.... there is more but we shall see if there is a next time.

This is a very unique experience. It seems super shady, you're in a desolate empty Asian place, and open the doors into a kinda steamy dimly lit room lined up with tens of modified lazy boys. But for ONLY $27 you'll get some middle aged Chinese guy giving his all to massage your head, shoulders, back, neck, feet, etc. All clothed of course, just roll up your pants for the warm water foot bath.
