Tucked away from the city's chaos, this spa is impeccably clean & has a very relaxing atmosphere! My friend and I booked a private session which allowed us the freedom to enjoy the facilities in complete privacy. The rest area, showers, hot tub, steam room and sauna were all immaculately clean and very well taken care of. I really liked the eucalyptus & lavender essential oils used in the steam room. It's clear why this place has been around for so long, they do a great job and the service is fantastic.

This place was incredible. The vibes were immaculate. Decided on a first thing in the morning, middle of the week session because it's been a while, and I cannot express what a breath of fresh air it was. I'm a hot tub person, so I spent most of my time there reading and hanging out. Wonderful.

My wife and I booked a private reservation and loved the experience. The ability to use the space without others enhances the already relaxing atmosphere. The place was clean and very welcoming. I believe we met the owner who was professional. They explained everything and then left us alone to enjoy the facility. We will be going back for sure.

Great sauna in Seattle. When you book it you get the entire area to yourselves. Hot tub, steam room, sauna, cold shower, regular showers and rest area. Super relaxing, clean and well maintained. There is a limit on 4 per session but i feel like it could possibly accommodate more.

This place is a hidden gem and quite frankly I don't know how I would survive if they disappeared. The facility is clean and although not luxurious persay, it is very relaxing. Please give them a try!

Hothouse is a fun time to share with 3 of your close friends for 2 hours. People running the spa are laid back and great hosts. There is a jacuzzi, wet sauna, dry sauna, cold shower, and a place to lay down and relax.

We’re from Utah, a dry, hot and an extreme climate. We either have freezing winters or blazing summers. We aren’t used to Seattle’s middle-of-the-road climate where it’s too cold for shorts and too hot for jackets. We ended up bringing shorts, and we paid the price. However, the comfortable, clean, and private hothouse spa was amazing. This is great to bring friends and family and just detox and relax. Stress? Steam it off in the lavender steam room. Fatigue? Blow it away with the hot tub jets. Just need a vacation from your vacation? Hit that cold plunge and soothe the muscles in the dry sauna. It’s a great experience for the tired traveler. Great price too, for a great clean facility.

Coming here for the first time was such a great way to start the new year! There’s something really positive about being around other naked ladies of varying body types, all just relaxing quietly in a calm and welcoming space. I loved that there is no time limit and no clock - you just drift between the hot tub, scented steam room, and sauna at your leisure (drinking lots of water and using the cold shower in between!) and leave whenever you feel ready. No phones either, of course, though one person brought a book in. People seemed to respect the showering rule and things felt clean enough that I didn’t mind walking around barefoot. Much appreciation to Hothouse for making such a wonderful experience affordable.

Absolutely divine and incredible experience! A great getaway for you and your besties 💙🛀🧖‍♀️☁️🚿🎵 Brandee was so nice and told us we could play our own music, gave us a tour and then gave us the spa to ourselves. I'd love to go again next time I visit Seattle! Wild rose bar is located just above, along with ice cream, beer and dining options in the alley.

I enjoyed this very much! Could use a little more amenities personally and walking back into downtown after a relaxing hideaway was an instant buzzkill, but overall, I will take it!

It’s the best! Quiet, super clean, cozy. You can rent towels for $1 a towel. Make sure you hang on to your locker key though, every time I go someone there loses their locker key (but hey, no pockets when you’re naked). It’s on a little safety pin, pin it to your towel in a visible area and you’ll be fine. Also remember to shower before you get in!! I think 99% of people do but I’ve seen one or two cases where they didn’t (ew). Common courtesy is important. Keep quiet, knock before going into the bathroom (no lock on the door), be hygienic and you’ll have a great time. Super relaxing place and half the price of similar places. Also free lime water! And be sure to tip your spa attendant a buck or two, they work hard so you don’t have to!

For women and femme non-binary individuals only!!! Wonderful oasis in cap hill. Heated floors, steam room and sauna, spacious and spotless hot tub (plunge shower is incredible). The setting is pretty small and intimate but the staff and guests alike were very warm and welcoming, very queer friendly. Will be returning.

This place is a nice little place, quiet and relaxing. I really enjoyed my massage and the saunas. I can see why it's a women's only spa, since the lockers and saunas are shared and almost everyone is walking around in their birthday suits (you can bring a swimsuit if you want, but I didn't know that the first time I went). If you're cool with that then you should try this place out

Great place to warm up in cold weather! It's a small place - only 18 or so patrons at a time - and the locker area can feel crowded with just 3. They have a hot tub, sauna, steam room, showers and a small space to relax on the floor. Massages are good here, too. Highly recommended. Bring a friend or two, or go solo, it's great either way.

My go-to for sauna/hot tub time. This tiny space burrowed under Capitol Hill is perfect and affordable for me compared to other hydro-therapy spas in the area (and hours of operation are very convenient!). Women only, clothing optional but you will definitely fee like the odd-one-out if you decide to wear a bathing suit. Don't be shy, everyone who comes here is respectful. It's usually just quiet. My only wish is that they had the space for a room temperature pool as sometimes I'm overheated and you can't stay under the cold shower for too long.

Great place! I never considered going here until I realized it was a women-only spa. It was awesome. Just a bunch of naked ladies sweatin it out. Relaxing as heck. The woman working there was very friendly (I think her name was Amanda) and the spa itself was very clean and well taken care of. There was only a few women in there, so it didn't feel crowded. Can't wait to go back.

A very warm (pun not intended), welcoming and affirming oasis in the city for all femme of center identified people. The price is incredibly affordable in my opinion and even you don’t feel comfortable bathing completely in the nude, the staff won’t make any fuss about it.

Been here twice and definitely best two massages I’ve gotten in my life. Showed up ~15 minutes late and they were nice about it. Only hiccup was that my boyfriend paid for a massage before my session (the 1st time he paid after). At the end of the session, they firmly requested payment. I got a text confirming it was paid for and it wasn’t until I told them that, then they checked the receipt, which showed a payment for a massage 15 minutes into my original appointment. They only have 1 massage set up at a time so I’m not sure why there’d be any confusion..

amazing place and lovely people!!! Chelsea has hands with healing light and gave an amazing much needed massage with conscious energy flow and breathing, which always helps me dissapate tension. As well Chelsea and Melissa gave me much advices on how to improve posture. They weren't concerned about keeping a customer, rather they genuinely cared about my heart and my body and took really good care of me! felt very loved and nourished and the energy work and massage dissapated a lot of tension around my heart chakra.

Relaxing healing oasis in the city! Women only health spa sauna is a hidden gem to de-stress, escape the rainy cold of winter and hectic urban chaos! Very modest and cozy feel (unlike Olympus which I love too but is sometimes loud and big) the environment here is smaller, inviting, and personal. There is a jacuzzi with jets, dry sauna (very dry & not with the steam rocks), steam room with a nice refreshing relaxing scent (not overpowering but enough to give a uplifting and calming effect & appreciated so it doesn't smell dank like some steam rooms can), and a cold shower for a refreshing tonic effect to flush the lymphatics (not a cold pool plunge but equally effective). Exceptionally clean and very respectful and relaxing environment. The massage is excellent and a nice offering with the soak (though entrance to spa is separate). I've had several and all although style varies by practitioner all of them are very experienced and effective. Best of all it is affordable so makes it easy to visit as a regular ritual! My favorite getaway to rejuvenate in Seattle!

This was my first spa experience. Construction on the block required the gas to be shut off; I was told that the sauna, steam room, and hot tub are usually hotter. But I still managed to break a sweat, and get a lovely massage. Definitely going back.

Hothouse is the perfect place to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city. The spa is conveniently located, exceptionally clean, affordably priced, and I love that it's small with a maximum occupancy of 14 women. Shout out to whomever creates the playlist - they have a soothing mix of the modern, calm tunes rather than the cliche loop of flutes you typically hear at spas.

There was a lot of machine noise. It made it very hard for me to relax, I'm very sensitive to that kind of noise. The staff and therapist were kind and friendly. The massage was very good.

Hothouse is everywoman's staple for rejuvenation. Wonderful wet and dry saunas, tubs, and cold/hot showers. Massages are reasonably priced and offered by divine practitioners. Hothouse has been my Seattle-relaxation go-to for years, and it has kept its simple, tucked-away charm in the madness that has befallen the Emerald City.
