This is an excellent destination for skin scare in Seattle. The injectors use a very light touch for natural results. I have been so pleased here

I had a friend who recommended Blue Haven and told me she had a consultation + her first treatment and she had great results, so I decided to try it and made an appointment. I used their "Request an Appointment" option and was responded to the next day with some available times and I made an appointment- done. I went in for my appointment, got there early, and the consultation was approximately 2 minutes long, because the doctor had just repeated a cliff notes version of everything that's on the website, asked me three of the questions I already answered in my new patient paperwork that I turned in more than a week prior, and I had done my research prior so I didn't have a lot of questions. Next thing I knew the doctor told me to make a different appointment for my first session which there was nothing compatible for my schedule for several weeks so I left without making an appointment. I'm just very surprised that I had to drive to a spa for a 2 minute consultation that could have been a detailed email or phone call or that first treatments aren't scheduled for the same time regularly. I talked to my friend about this and she said they specifically asked her if she wanted the first treatment at the same time as her appointment. So, I suppose my advice going forward is to ask them to do this, otherwise it will be a complete waste of your time if you do any kind of prep prior. -- Update: I did go back for my first treatment and it was in fact speedy, however I did notice quite a large spot that was missed after a few days (most of my hair had already started or did fall out in the treatment areas and this part never had that reaction and was coarse unlike other hair that grew back after a few weeks). I will be going back for a second treatment, because not having razor burn, ingrown hairs, or itchy grow back has been amazing- more than enough to overlook the let down of the first visit and simple reminder to the technician of the missed spots should be sufficient.

I recently had a facial here by Diane (because self care is the best care!) The facility is located right by Green Lake which makes it a great place to be as there is so much to do and see pre or post treatment. It's all street based parking but plenty of it during midday. The facility is a bit smaller than I expected but the staff there is wonderful and makes great use of the space. I was warmly greeted and checked in by the staff up front and offered water while I waited. Then Diane took me to the room and gave a thorough explanation of what she was doing and what to expect in each step. She was very professional and great at what she does - as at one point as she explained the next step - she was so good as what she does i ended up dozing off to sleep! When i woke up my face and whole self felt amazing and refreshed and clean! At the end of it all - she recommended some facial cleansing cream and so far it's great!

I was blown away by my nurse Sara. She was very knowledgeable about the anatomy and physiology of the face. Her knowledge made me feel very safe having her inject botox and fillers into my face. She also has an exceptional eye for aesthetics that I trust to always enhance my natural beauty and never make me look fake. It is really nice not to have to worry about that. Her hands have incredible dexterity and gentleness, she made the procedure painless and I didn't bruise at all. She also recommended a line of facial products for me that have TOTALLY changed my skin! It is what I have always wanted in a skin care line: my acne is gone, my skin glows, my wrinkles have faded, and my skin tone is even. It has been like magic! I was referred to Blanca by a good friend who raved about her experience, and who's skin looked great! On my first visit, I bravely chose to try a chemical peel, and Blanca's guidance and knowledge was comforting, and frankly really exciting to listen to her and feel like she had a "plan" for clearing up my skin. The peel was wild, and I am excited to try the deeper "transformation" peel in the future. She recommended coming back after the peel for another facial and dermablading! I trust her completely and I am so grateful that seeing Blanca is now an integral part of my self-care routine in my life. I also love all the products she recommends. Wow! I just had the most wonderful facial with Blanca! She is clearly a skin expert, and her technique is thorough, adept, and gentle. While I lay on an ultra comfortable and warm bed, she first exfoliated and got rid of my peach fuzz. Then, she applied steam; layer upon layer of various cool, warm, and tingly creams; mists, and hot towels. She treated my face, neck, and decolletage; and, finished with a wonderful arm and hand massage. I left with a smooth and glowing face, feeling both relaxed and invigorated! I highly recommend getting a facial with Blanca, to brighten your skin, and lift your Winter-dampened spirits.

I had the excellent fortune of being introduced to Blanca through a mutual friend. Since my first visit to Blue Haven, about a year ago, I have been in for a number of visits. Recently, a chemical peel with Blanca revealed smoother, brighter, move even-toned skin. Blanca also recommended a laser facial to further address years of sun damage. The laser facial was quick, and not at all as Star Wars as it may sound. :-) My patchy décolletage, and age-spotty cheeks are now bright, even-toned, and I am so delighted with the results I was compelled to write this little review. Blanca truly enjoys what her craft, and I feel like she is truly a partner in my beauty/self-care regime. Next up: A custom facial. Let the pampering continue. Do yourself a favor: Book with Blanca, and unleash your glow! I also need to mention Anna, and Dr. Killey. They took such great time and care making sure I got exactly what I was looking for: no more, no less. Everything was explained to me, and I knew exactly what to expect during and after each of my visits. I love not looking so "crabby" anymore!

Blanca is an excellent esthetician. I was previously used to facials that required a day or two of down time. Blanca explained to me that the condition of my skin was due to the continual trauma of very aggressive facials. She is extremely knowledgeable of her field and of product. I have been coming here for the past 6 years and every single time everything is perfect. Also, you can feel 100% comfortable seeing any of Dr. Ben's highly trained and skilled staff, because he oversees and trains everyone himself, and he is incredibly careful with whom he hires. He also has the best lasers in town (he spent the money for the expensive lasers -- not the middle of the line -- but the top). I am hesitant to write this review because her schedule already gets so booked out but she is so deserving that I decided not to be selfish :) Blanca is hands down the best aesthetician that I have every been to. EVER. I have had my fair share of facials - and have previously lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York - but no one else comes even close to comparing to what she's done for my skin. Blanca completely resurrected my skin when I first moved to Seattle and was starting to fear that my fave would be dry and dull forever. Then, through a combination of regular facials and microneedling, she took my skin to the next level for my wedding - to the point where my friends began asking if they could book trips to Seattle so that they could get a facial in with her. Moral of the story: I'll never trust anyone else with my skin because I know that it doesn't get better than Blanca!

I went to see Blue Haven Medical spa and saw Blanca. As I came in I was greeted by a friendly front desk gal who offered me water. The check in process was quick and painless. Blanca was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all my skincare questions. I inquired about several procedures and she was able to explain each and every one and tell me whether I was a good candidate or not. I am a 30 year old mom who suffers with melasma and adult acne. Blanca performed a wonderful relaxing facial with dermaplaning, extractions and a mild peel. My skin has never felt so clean before! Her technique with the dermaplaning was amazing. I even said- wow it’s so gentle! Because I didn’t expect it to be so light and gentle. After my facial Blanca helped me come up with a skin care regime and recommended products for my skin which I conveniently was able to purchase right there at the clinic. She wrote down exactly how to use the products and when. It is day two and I can tell the peel is already working. My skin is dry and flaky. I’ve had a peel in the past that never actually did anything at all. I am extremely pleased with the service I received and would recommend Blue Haven Medical Spa to anyone. I am excited to also see some of the other providers there for injections, needling and peels in the future.

My custom medical facial with Madisen was one of the highlights of our vacation. She was friendly yet knowledgeable and gave a very relaxing facial. I especially enjoyed the pumpkin enzyme as a kick off for fall--it smelled great. The location was convenient too as we were able to park once, grab lunch, have a facial and then walk over to Green Lake park. Blue Haven Medical Spa has a nice interior too, very stylish and welcoming when you walk in, front desk staff was also friendly. It felt clean and professional.

5.0 star rating3/28/2015 I thought facials were for girly girls that like getting pampered. During the open house event at Blue Haven Blanca educated me on what their purpose was, and I tried it out. Turns out they are wonderful! It was really relaxing, I even got a neck, shoulder, and arm massage. Blanca explained everything she was doing and why. She told me how I could reduce the chance of getting skin cancer, both in my daily life and with her professional expertise, which is really important to me because skin cancer runs in my family. My skin looks great now, and I know that's not my imagination because my husband immediately commented that he could see a difference. I learned that I not only enjoy getting facials, but that they have genuine health benefits. Blanca is awesome, and not just because she's good at what she does, but it was also really fun to chat with her. Thank you Blanca!

I recently had Voluma injections in my lips with Sara Fowler and am so happy with the results! I have been to two other providers for this and neither had the skill or expertise that Sara has. Prior to the injection she fully examined my lips, which were slightly uneven and I also had leftover filler in some areas. She immediately pointed out the areas that needed more work and evened out my lips beautifully. The injections were not painful and she took her time throughout the process. She truly seems to care about wanting to help her patients look as good as possible. Thank you Sara!

I have had several treatments here at Blue Haven Medical Spa. After speaking with Dr. Little, we decided on only a minimal amount of Botox in my forehead. I knew I only wanted to help the lines in between my eyebrows. It also allowed for a break in my pocket book. = ) I received one treatment for laser hair reduction on my face as well. The results have been just as anticipated and I have already made another appointment for the future. My facial with Blanca was outstanding. I had a few add-ons to my facial, which I haven't seen at many other spas around town. Overall, my skin is looking wonderful and I would definitely recommend coming here to my friends.

Blanca is amazing!! While having the salicylic medium depth peel, I was a little nervous. But she told me exactly what to expect and made sure that I was never too uncomfortable. She walked me through everything she was doing which is extremely important to me. My face peeled for a few days but after the results were shocking. I had received so many compliments from residents at my work and coworkers about how glowey and great my skin looked. It definitely made me feel untouchable. She is extremely knowledgeable and just a really great esthetician all around. She really knows what she's doing which I've found isn't as common as one would think. First off the staff is absolutely amazing here! They are so sweet, on top of everything and most importantly make you feel at home. My first experience here was outstanding with Sara who did lip filler on me! I never thought I could really go through with this, but if it wasn’t for Sara I may not have! The entire time she played reggae music for me and allowed my fiancé there for support! She made sure I felt extremely comfortable and at peace! I did choose to use the topical numbing cream which made the pain tolerable! In fact on a scale my pain level was at a 4, but only when injecting the filler! Truly I thank Blue Haven Medical Spa and Sara (theseattleinjector) for this whole process and experience! You really made my first time ever getting filler the most enjoyable! Went in to get Intense Pulse Light therapy. My consultation was with an MD who answered all of my questions and ensured that I was comfortable with the procedure before we decided to schedule an appointment. They were very available as I got an appointment that weekend. My appointment was with Blanca. She was very professional and attentive to my concerns. She explained the procedure again and made sure there were no surprises. The spa is very well prepared for covid. They have a plexiglass barrier for reception, masks are required inside when you are not having the procedure, they have digital thermometer and hand sanitizer. Very professional and accommodating place. I would definitely recommend to my friends.

Well, Sara Fowler is just freaking amazing! A true professional and expert at her craft. Practically a magician. She has a really keen eye for aesthetics and made me look better than I even could’ve imagined. She did some corrective work on my lips for somewhat lumpy filler I got from another provider about a year ago. They turned out beautiful!!! I also decided to do mid-facial rejuvenation and tear trough filler to reduce appearance of undereye circles. This was a bit scary for me but I’ve always wanted to do it. She took the time to explain the procedure and make me feel at ease. The results were subtle and perfectly natural looking but I could tell a huuge difference! The bags in my eyes are gone!! When I first came to Seattle, I was scammed by another "medical spa", which wanted to charge me ridiculous rates. Months later, I was recommended this place by my boss. I stumbled upon Blue Haven due to its many great reviews and I am so happy that I did. Blanca is an amazing esthetician. Not only is she very sweet and personable, but she has expert knowledge of skincare. For my first appointment, she took a good amount of time discussing my skin regimen before diving in. She genuinely cares about her clients and what is best for them. She is particularly skilled in Dermaplaning, which is a teqnique I do not see a lot of in Seattle, or anywhere. She is the one that first introduced me to it since I have a tendency of getting 'peach fuzz' on my face. Right after my appointment my skin was immediately glowing and extremely soft. The treatment gives you an instant glow. She basically uses a blade to take off the dead skin on your face. It just feels like someone is lightly scratching your face. It does not hurt one bit. Also- you would think that the hair would grow back thicker and faster but it really doesn't. If it did, I wouldn't be going back. I really cannot say enough good things about Blanca.

Blanca is the best! She knows skin. I am always referring people to her. I had pretty bad acne, and just after two sessions, I already saw a drastic change in my skin. Plus, she has great energy and a hoot to be around. The staff at BH are always so kind and welcoming. Nicole always has a smile on her face. If you haven't been here, go! Dr. Killey is a super nice guy with heaps of knowledge. I haven't met the other two doctors yet, but I am sure they are just as great as everyone else.

I saw Annie for Juvederm fillers in my cheek and under my eyes. I’ve had fillers at other places before with mediocre results. This place is amazing, they are so professional and highly trained. I cannot recommended them enough. I would give Annie 10 stars if I could. They take care to thoroughly cleanse your face, numb the area, explain what they are doing, why they are doing it and what to expect along the way. I had phenomenal results and minimal pain and bruising after (really barely ANY). I’ll be back most definitely and so should you. Don’t waste your time with other places!

If you are looking for a great medical spa that offers microneedle facials, look no further. Blue Haven Medical Spa is the answer you've been searching for. I had the pleasure of receiving a microneedle facial and couldn't have been happier, both with the facial and with the service at Blue Haven Medical Spa. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by reception and the entire staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Blanca, the esthetician was fantastic. I will admit, I'm not the biggest fan of needles and getting a microneedle facial was a bit intimidating to me. Blanca took away any fear I had and made me feel completely at ease. She numbed my entire face for the procedure so I felt no pain during the facial. The entire facial lasted about an hour. I'm posting before and after photos so you can see with your own eyes how effective the facial was. Because the facial uses needles, I was a bit bloody immediately after the facial (see before photo), but once Blanca washed that away there was no more blood. Recovery time is minimal and the only after affect was my face looked a bit sunburned for 2 days. After that, my skin peeled a small amount BUT after the peeling my skin was completely transformed. The microneedle facial changed the texture of my skin!! Where it was rough before, post facial it was smooth and clear. I am amazed at the results and will go back again. I would HIGHLY recommend going to see Blanca at Blue Haven Medical Spa....you will not be disappointed!!

I’ve been working with Dr. Killey on scar reduction for hypertrophic scarring that was aching and banded together. Within 48 hours of the first laser treatment, I had relief from the aching that I had been feeling for almost an entire year. Recently, I actually had to have an extensive surgical scar revision and Dr. Killey has been working to proactively alleviate the hypertrophic scarring with immediate laser treatments and it’s working! He and his staff and fun, knowledgeable, passionate, and refreshing.
