I called and received a call back within minutes from Alicia. I was in so much pain and you fit me into the schedule for a same day appointment. It was great massage. I felt so much better by the end of my massage. The fact that I was not sore at all is amazing. I feeI great. I appreciate you taking the time to care about my physical and mental well-being without knowing me. It really touched my heart not many people genuinely care.

I went in for a spa package for my birthday today and Alicia gave me such a wonderful experience. I can't wait to go back. she made my birthday very special and even bought me a cupcake which was such a sweet gesture! As far as my spa services went my massage was awesome. My foot Was killing me for about two weeks and I told her about my issue and she hit a trigger point on my foot and it has felt brand new all day. I've been waiting for it to be back to normal! Thankyou so much. My facial was absolutely amazing too ! Cannot wait to find the time to go back !

Butter Day Salon was fabulous. When you walk in it's like you are home. Very relaxing and comfortable. I was greeted by a happy, assertive, receptionist with a mimosa for me and my daughter before we went into our service. The staff is friendly and the receptionist was accommodating in fitting me in with my busy schedule. The room where I had my facial was calming which I found difficult to leave. Anna was amazing. The products she used on my face felt like heaven. Best facial I've ever had. Can't wait to go back!

It was not a bad experience but not a great one either. My husband purchased a mother's day package which included Mani,Pedi, massage and facial. I did receive the massage and facial but not the Mani/pedi. The massage was FANTASTIC. It was an hour massage and was just what I needed. Unfortunately, the facial felt a bit rushed and I wish I was walked through some of the products being used as I have very sensitive skin (which I did mention). I'm a pretty soft spoken person so I didn't mention the Mani/Pedi and honestly just figured my husband must have misunderstood. When I returned home he was pretty bummed. We shrugged it off as I just didn't have a good enough experience to really want to go back. So I can't assume they wouldn't have rectified the situation. The woman who did my massage and facial was very pleasant.

We had our second annual "holiday party" at Butter yesterday. It was a really fun day and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating! We really appreciated you bringing lunch in so we could spend time together between our treatments. All 4 of us had manicures, massages and facials. My skin can be sensitive and this was one of the best facials I've had in awhile. They really took care to use gentle products and techniques. Overall a really fabulous day - thank you for everything!!

I feel amazing. I needed a massage so bad and tried a different place on the east side and it did not do the trick. A co-worker recommended Butter and I so glad I went. They have me as a customer for life. My therapist applied just the right amount of pressure, it wasn't too much nor too little. She found every stubborn knot that had been bothering me and even found some that I didn't know I had. It felt like a huge burden had been lifted off me. Plus the spa is gorgeous. I love the decor and the rooms!

I purchased a Symphony 5 gift certificate online for my mother for Mother's Day, and she loved, loved, loved it. She's been back twice since then. A bit curious, I booked a massage and facial for myself and they were the best spa treatments that I've ever had. The spa is gorgeous, located in a beautiful Victorian with classy antique furniture, art and decor. The massage and facial rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and very relaxing. Father's day is right around the corner and my mother has already suggested a gift certificate for my dad. I've been to other places in providence for massage, but they don't quite have that spa touch and ambiance. It also helped that my services were amazing. We are now a butter day spa family. ~HER

Today was my second time back at the spa and I absolutely loved it! The staff is warm, friendly and ready to provide anything you need. My treatments were amazing, better than so many of the other spas I have been to. The space makes you feel like you are in someone's home and immediately you feel comfortable. After a facial, massage and manicure I feel amazing!

I work in Boston but live in RI, and my favorite spa is not too far from work... that is until this week. Butter is my new favorite! I wanted to get my mother a spa gift certificate for Mother's Day and a friend recommended Butter. I tested it out by having the Symphony package which included the best massage I ever had. I did not want to move and I asked if the massage could be extended to 90 minutes. It could not, because of scheduling. But I did not want to leave. Next came the facial and my aestheticians fingers felt like butter. I love the product line and the results. My mani was also great, oh and the spa is beautiful. Old Victorian home converted to a spa on the east side of Providence. Needless to say, my mother is going to love her Mother's Day gift and I may end up joining her!

By far the best spa I've encountered. I've had several facials and massages in the past but my experience here has been the best. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, truly caring about the needs of their clients. As you walk in the door, it is instantly relaxing. I highly recommends Butter Day Spa!

I've been a Butter Day gal for two years this month and I have not found a better place for massage or manicures. I really enjoy the spa, the ease of parking, the beauty of the rooms and how relaxing and kind the staff is. Having been a customer for some time, I must say that they did have some staff that were not as sharp as they needed to be. I spoke to the owners (as did a few others, I'm told) about this and I can affirm that those employees are no longer with the spa. Another thing that I love about the Butter is that the owners are generous. I first learned about them at a charity event for a local non-profit. They had donated gift certificates to help raise money. This meant a lot to me then and the great service keeps me coming back.

There's a bad and a good. The bad: I went in for my traditional mani-pedi appointment and there was no one there. The doors were unlocked but the lights were off and not a soul around. I waited for 30 minutes before I left. I called and left a message as I was leaving. I was very much looking forward to the appointment because it was a Christmas gift from my boyfriend, who had purchased it because I neither have the time nor the money to relax these days (RISD grad student). I had planned going at this time for weeks because I was about to go to a friend's wedding. There was not another time to come before I left for the wedding. I was extremely disappointed. The good: I was rescheduled and came in for the appointment. I waited about 10 minutes to be seen. The technician (Alicia) was friendly and took her time. They have massage chairs but are not as good as I have seen in other places. The nail work itself is not what I would call top-notch, but from far away they look fine. I ruined one nail while having the mani and so Alicia redid it for me. Additionally, the spa is supposed to call a day ahead of time to confirm the appointment. I was not called for either appointment. I had read other reviews about people going through a similar situation after it happened to me. My advice would be to try out the spa, because it is a relaxing experience, but to call ahead of time to make sure you are on the books.

UNDER NEW MANAGMENT !!! Alicia did my massage 💆 & facial ! Ah-mazing!! My gift certificate was 2 years old but they still took it! My massage was absolutely perfect , so peaceful and relaxing! The office is clean, seating area was beautiful! ALL AROUND AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT

Coming from Massachusetts, I drive pass two or three spas and massage places on my way to Butter. It's worth it every time. My massage just ended and as I was checking my phone messages, I can not believe how great and zen I feel. feel like a new person right now. 7-stars!

I went for a Brazilian wax, full leg and underarm, I have to say it was an amazing experience; Nadia the wax specialist or how I would like to call her "WAX GODDESS" made the experience quick and as painless it could be, considering that we're talking about wax...
