I went and saw Tara for a Brazilian wax and it was an A+ experience. Not only did the aesthetician use a variety of different waxes based on the placement of each pull, but she was so very quick! (15 minutes, in and out!) Health Resonates as a spa establishment is not only clean and relaxing, but also stylish. Booking online was a breeze and parking was easy right out front. The spa offers a variety of services including massage and facialsWill definitely be going back!

From the moment I walked in the door I felt wave of relaxation. Health Resonates is a beautiful space in a great location in the West End. My massage with Tara was pure bliss. I had the 60 minute, and about 10 minutes in I was already wishing I had done the 90 minutes! She has a great talent, and can "read" your body making sure to focus on areas that need special attention. I can't wait to return!

I just got the Forever YOUTHful facial with Tara and it was by far the best and most magical facial/massage experience I have had. The space is gorgeous, smells amazing , and is so peaceful the moment you walk in. Tara gives the perfect amount of pressure during the massage (which is so hard for me to find) and I was pleasantly surprised at how much she was able to work out while also doing the facial. The facial itself was amazing and my skin looks so much better - clear, bright, and dewy. I can’t wait to be back for another one!

Tara is a young enterprising woman and an excellent massage therapist with a calm yet positive demeanor. She is especially skilled in Ashiatsu massage and I appreciate her deep work. My wife and I both look forward to an hour and a half massage with Tara to ease the stress of work and our three sons. My wife appreciates that she respects her desire for quiet and doesn’t feel the need to yammer the whole time like some therapists and hair dressers if the person is clearly trying to chill. Her space is beautifully decorated and the massage rooms are always lit in a relaxing manner with just the right temperature, music, warm towels and essential oils. I do have one complaint * that the massage has to end... but I leave there feeling recharged and completely relaxed. Thanks Tara.

My hydrotherapy session was amazing. It was like nothing I have ever experienced before. Thank you Gaby for providing this service. I didn't expect I was holding so much tension in my upper/lower back until I felt the release. My physical body felt incredible and lighter for several days after. Gaby did reiki on me during the session and that was an added bonus I didn't expect but was so nice. At one point the electrical stimulation got intense, but she checked in on me and helped me breathe through it. Gaby made sure the process from beginning to end was supportive and seamless. The way the hot and cold towels were used was new and the benefits my immune system gained were felt through a sense of calm and relaxation. The Health Resonates space is a total dream as well, I'm definitely thinking about that membership!

I expected a good massage, so many excellent practitioners here in Portland, but never anticipated the excellence I received from Meg. Her technique is body-specific, she paid close attention to the specific issues I have, and used a technique that was new to me: really working on elongating the muscles and how they work within the joint. Tara is the only person I will pay full price for a massage. I've done the deal site massage thing for years, but after my first Tara massage, I couldn't go back. She is very intuitive about her treatment of your body, and my internal monologue is always something to the effect of "yaaaay thank you finally yay" without anything else because my brain manages to shut down for once. The new space they're in as of 2018 is also a major upgrade from their old space, and I felt really wraparound cared for.

So 5+ years ago, I started going to Health Resonates and loved it so much unfortunately I moved away and stop going. Now I am back in the area , I decided that I needed a massage so after googling what was available I realized Health Resonates was still open. Without hesitation I booked a massage with Emily. I had never met her but I hoped for the best while booking because my previous providers were all pretty good. Oh but Emily … she is GREAT! This was by far the best massage experience I ever had. She listened to me when I said I carried tension in certain areas of my body, and she worked it all out. I think she uses triggering point techniques along with her magical hands - I could just feel my tension melting away little by little as she worked on my body. 90 minutes of pure bliss. Can’t wait to come back!!!! Additionally, Their spa is easily accessible and very welcoming. They make booking very easy and convenient. I have told every person I know they need to go see Emily or to be honest anyone at Health Resonates as my experiences have always been 5 starts.
