Rescue Spa’s new site is spectacular! Ethereal, classic, breathtaking, sophisticated. Their staff remains 5 star in every way and Emily worked magic on my skin with a calming relaxing, cleansing facial. I left there with not only beautiful skin but feeling utterly pampered!

Wow! I am a long time customer of Rescue Spa in the previous location. This weekend I spent the day at the spa with my colleagues. I loved the former location but this is another level! The space itself is breathtaking. So lux in an understated way. The waiting area is a pleasure to sit and take in every chic detail. I had a massage and a facial. The bio lift facial was the first facial I’ve ever had where I saw immediate impact on my “turkey neck” so I am officially hooked. Victor was my masseuse - I can say without a doubt that it was the best massage I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot) hours later I still felt relaxed at a level I forgot was possible. Having said all of this… the best part was the staff! The manager, Tanya came in on her day off to make sure my large group had everything we needed, I was so grateful. The front desk and host team took care of us the rest of the day. They checked on us frequently and made sure our very need was met. In a place as high-end as Rescue - you might fear a snobby staff- what I found was the opposite! Every staff member was so warm and friendly - they seemed sincerely happy to be there. I am just so happy and grateful for this perfect day and I can’t wait to return.

I have had multiple facials with Greta now and I would HIGHLY recommend Rescue Spa. I'm very impressed with the care put into the service provided by Greta and Rescue Spa more broadly. Greta is so knowledgeable. What impressed me most is that she recommended I talk to a dermatologist about my dry skin patches, which has NOT been my usual experience when I get facials. (I have a derm I see to deal with some of my skin issues already.) Her professionalism and expertise is outstanding. The staff at Rescue Spa is very friendly and welcoming. This is IMO the best place for a facial in Philly. I highly recommend!

I wasn’t sure how this experience was going to be as it was my first time. I had the BEST massage ever with Caroline. She listened to my needs and her hands were magic. I left feeling like I was floating on a cloud. Gabrielle did my facial and my skin looked so amazing after. It was the skin reset I needed. I started a new skin care routine and needed a fresh start. This trusted establishment’s new location and beautifully designed space has elevated an already luxurious experience to a whole new level. The products, which are for sale on the first floor and utilized during services, are a well curated highly coveted collection of the best available any where. The same can be said regarding the incredible staff. From your initial encounter with the patient and helpful reception desk, the aesthetician’s skillful care, to the attention of the assistant who helps you find the perfect gift for a friend. Every aspect of Rescue is filled with gracious warmth, quiet sophistication and relaxed flair. One never wants to leave! But if you have to leave, the parking garage is next door and you’ll likely be fortified with a bevy of samples. Five stars, all the points, can’t wait to go back for my next appointment.

The facility itself, the massage therapists, and the estheticians are great. I received one of the best massages and facials I have ever gotten. The spa was brand new, clean, and decorated nicely. However, when I first walked in I was shown a room where you could sit in a sauna, or shower and change after your services. When my 2 services were completed, I was brought to one of the general use bathrooms to change and was told there wasn't a shower I could use to wash off massage oil before putting my clothes back on. When you're spending hundreds of dollars on expensive spa services, access to sauna and shower should be included. I get those at a gym for far less money. Also, between my massage and facial I had to sit in a robe in the general waiting area, where fully clothed patrons were waiting to start their service, and I thought that was a bit bizarre.

Besides the rant my esthetician went on about racial purity and how much poor people suck, my facial went great and my skin looked fantastic for the next several days onward. Not to mention the purchase of the Lotion P50 and the little serum that smells like soy sauce really helped maintain my post-facial glow 🤩 wish they would a spa in Europe and other parts of the U.S. if I could, I'd literally fly to Philly once a month for their facials. Just maybe no conversations about eugenics at 8 in the morning.

If I could give 10 stars Venus would get that and more! Best massage every time. My only critique is no shower afterwards. I have not been here since COVID started but I understand new facilities are coming and hopefully showers will be reintroduced. It really was nice to wind down afterwards. Staff friendly.

A few months ago, I received my first facial from Gigi Falco. She was extremely sweet, personable, and easy to talk to. Between her working her magic and using the tips she gave me, my skin has done a complete 180! If you are looking to improve your skin or try a facial, you HAVE to see Gigi at Rescue! I'm a repeat client at Rescue, specifically for the fix-it-all facial. I come every 2 months, sometimes with friends, but also alone to treat myself. A friend who came along with me once said "Other places just seem to slather your face, rub it in, wipe it off and repeat. This feels like it actually did something." I've had several aestheticians but I always request Lana if she's available. I know someone who comes to Rescue from North Jersey just for a massage with Victor. The staff are incredibly professional and the retail space is beautiful and well-stocked. They have even accommodated a small group of friends and I as part of a birthday celebration (lots of advance notice needed, they book up early)! Whatever your reason for a spa trip, you will have an amazing experience at Rescue Spa.

This time I got “the works” and it was money well spent. Daysi did an amazing job with all the treatments and tailored specifically to my skin’s needs. I went to Emily for a 90 minute facial this week; she was absolutely amazing. Best facial I've had, and I have frequented many spas between NYC and Philly. Highly recommend her, it was so relaxing. She was gentle, knowledgeable and recommended products without being pushy about it. I already made a follow up appointment with her! Book with her ASAP!

I’ve been going to Valerie for about two months (thanks to my sisters recommendation) and my skin has already transformed since my first appointment! My skin feels so much smoother, my acne has reduced, acne scars are fading, and all the products she recommended has worked so well with my skin (sensitive, combination, acne prone). She’s very kind, helped educate me on how to care for my skin and knew exactly what I needed! I’ll never go back to my old products. I always leave excited to make my next appointment! The place itself is classy, high-end but very worth the price of every service. The front desk are very kind and welcoming as well. They’re also very helpful and knowledgeable of all the products and skincare as well! Just had an amazing experience with Christina for my rescue facial! I was really impressed by the measures the spa took to make sure everything was impeccably clean- they really thought everything through. The treatment I received from Christina was unbelievable. Going to the stylist is one of my least favorite things to do. Often they don't engage much and seem to just want you in and out. Most of the time the stylist would apply the color and leave until that dreaded timer goes off...then they come back, wash and rinse, dry, and send you on your way. Feels like a dreaded boring task. But this time I decided to try Rescue Spa and hit the jackpot with Sophia. That lady is talented and super nice. She did a fabulous job with my color and style, and we had a great conversation. Hands down, Sophia is the best! First time in my life I didn't want my appointment to end...Amazing.

Rescue facial with Greta was marvelous. Goddess hands, Clean & great communication.. she got ALL the oil out of my deeply clogged pores in my chin/nose,..after the facial I was literally glowing, really brought me back to life & my skin is tighter, thank you!!! Full 60 min but felt longer, didnt feel rushed. Every serum used felt tailored to my needs. Consultation at the end was explained patiently & left with amazing products not too expensive. Incredible experience getting a facial from Monica here. It's pristine, gorgeous. The workers at the front desk and my nail technician are awesome and very friendly. I recently got a bio seaweed gel manicure and my nails came out beautiful. My nail tech Nia is amazing, funny and super sweet! But you gotta try Rescue Spa for yourself so you'll know for sure how amazing this spa is. I've been a customer since 2016.

Rescue spa is very clean and relaxing! The staff are always nice and welcoming. I’ve had nothing but positive experience. One thing I will say is, whenever a female is getting something like a Brazilian wax and lady parts are being exposed it should be the customers choice to have a transgender waxer. I was never informed or given the choice to have Enna as my waxer. Although they were very polite to me, I still should have been given the choice. That is my only complaint. Besides that very clean and refreshing!

I rarely write reviews but I had to share my wonderful experience! I called in with questions about a specific brand of skincare products after I fell in love with my last purchase. I spoke with Erin and she was super pleasant/knowledgeable and assisted with my skincare questions. I came in the next day to purchase more items and asked for her since she was so helpful over the phone. Not only was she even more pleasant in person but she was patient and offered me samples to try of other skincare recommendations. I was blown away by this experience, especially given that spas can be busy with appointments and phone calls. I already loved Rescue and all the ladies are lovely, but Erin made me a loyal customer. She is truly a gem! I will be back for more products and spa services.

Amazing experience! Booked an appointment for my mom & I as her Christmas gift/girls day. As soon as we walked we were greeted with cheerful staff. We checked in & we both got beverages. We got called back for our appointment on time which I appreciated. I got the microdermabrasion facial with Christina & she was the absolute best! She explained each step & made me feel really comfortable. My mom got the bio-lift facial & she said she loved it. So worth it. I will definitely be booking again soon!

Love this place so much. I mostly went there to do my facials, and HAVE to say that Shannon O’Brein is absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, professional, and carrying. She was the person I happened to go to the first time (about two-three years ago), and I NEVER switched to someone else. I had pretty bad acne back then, it went away probably after my first three-four-maybe-five sessions (which could be around 3-4 months). She taught me to love my skin, and how to take care of it. If you think you struggle with skin problems, please invest in it. Acne won’t go away after one facial, it will take time and a few months. Be patient and fall in love with the routine and your skin. I put four stars because seeing the front desk ladies wasn’t always a pleasure. It seems like they never happy to see you, they are never friendly, or that you disturb them every time you come in. I am no longer living in Philly but I feel that I owe a big thank you to my esthetician, Shannon. This was a life changing experience that I wish every women get to have. Much love to you all, beautiful people.

Valerie has been taking care of my skin for years now and I couldn't be happier. Rescue has some of the best products that you can't find anywhere close by and a variety of products to suit any skin type. Her knowledge and skills have advanced through the years and my skin thanks her for her passion in skincare. Every product she recommends, I become obsessed with because I actually notice a difference. She won't lead you to just the most expensive products or services, rather what's best for you. I recommend all of my friends/family to see her and they're never disappointed. Favorite services: bio lift facial, definitely makes your facial muscles feel more tightened and awake. Less tired. Rescue facial, very relaxing and just great for skin maintenance. Favorite products: P50(toner,exfoliating), Vivant(leaves skin so soft), cryo sticks massage and mask, your skin feels like it's waking up and it's cold but soooo refreshing, a must try! AMAZING as always! I love going here because they are so friendly and they really look out for you! They are not on top of you trying to sell you products or other deals. They recommend what they think is best for you and then move on. This was not my first time at rescue and it will be not my last! This was my first time being a customer, at a spa and it was everything I was hoping for and more! First of all the whole staff was friendly and very helpful.They took my jacket, showed me where the refreshments were, and showed me the locker room. The locker room included a sauna, two showers one with steam, lockers with a robe and a pair of sandals! I had a classic facial done by Kate! She was so sweet and so knowledgeable, she asked me my concerns then analyzed my skin and provided her recommendations! She offered me products based on my what she noticed while analyzing my skin! The facial was extremely relaxing and my skin looks amazing right after the service! I will definitely be returning and telling friends!

This trip was my first to Rescue Spa, but it certainly won't be my last. Rescue is located right in the middle of the city's hustle and bustle, but you wouldn't be able to tell that from the inside. Step off the elevator and you are suddenly surrounded by calm and tranquility. I visited Ashley (the brow whisperer) who made me feel confident about being able to transform my eyebrows into what I have always wanted. Consulting with her is so much more informed than going anywhere else for an eyebrow wax or threading. I was also happy to hear about all the other treatments that Rescue offers. With that said, no one tried to upsell me on services, which I appreciated. All staff seemed cheerful and did not hesitate to answer my questions. I'm eager to try their other services and can't wait to go back!

Had my first visit at Rescue Spa today and let me just say that I will definitely be back! I had the most amazing massage with Mahlon. I had no idea how much stress I was carrying around until he worked out every knot. I had a facial with TaraLyn who gave me great advice on how to bump up my skin care game and sent me home with some samples and hand written instructions. Ended the afternoon with a manicure and pedicure from Brittany. 10/10 all the way around and every person was beyond helpful and so friendly. The atmosphere is perfect! You can definitely tell how much they care about their clientele.

She has the perfect touch and knows exactly what feels good. My skin looks incredible and now I have a customized regimen she started me on and I feel so much more confident with this glow. I had the most amazing Full Spectrum Facial with Kellyann Cronin. I cannot recommend Kellyann highly enough. I have had many facials and visited many estheticians, but both Kellyann and this particular facial were absolutely phenomenal. Kellyann was extremely knowledgeable about skincare and about skincare products. All the advice she gave me was extremely invaluable and I will be going back as often as I can. I enjoyed my time at Rescue Spa and I have to say it is well worth the price. If you are on the fence, don't be - call and book a facial with Kellyann. Your skin will thank you.

Had an amazing experience from start to finish. Front desk staff was lovely - made a point to make sure all my needs were met, was a perfect welcome to a relaxing experience. My aesthetician was to die for - she worked wonders. I came in feeling dull/dehydrated after recent travel and temp changes (florida in winter etc) - I left glowing - and a week later I still am (which is rare)! Have been to many top rated spas (NYC, Canyon Ranch, and abroad) - this facial was for sure one of (if not) the best.

She was very informative knowledgeable and I left the facial room feeling so relaxed and a new woman. she gave me additional information about self care, skin care and maintenance. First class as well to the front desk staff: Amanda, Lilly, Erin, Victoria, Debra, Jess and Geo (I made it a point to take all their names) because they enhanced my experience. They greet you with a smile and ensure to take care of you. Consistency is key and they were consistent from check in to check out. Thank you Rescue Spa- Danuta, you run a tight ship.

I thought it would be safer to go to a nicer spa to get a pedicure during the pandemic. Rescue was the perfect location. They are super careful & safe. They respect social distancing and cleanliness. The cherry on the top is that I got the best pedicure that I have ever had!

I've been seeing Connie Henry for facials since 2007 and it's been transformative. Hands down, the best facial and most knowledgeable skin care professional I've ever seen. I'm a more recent client of Liz Szot in the hair salon, and also can't sign her praises highly enough -- she is immensely skilled and true artisan. Finally, the front desk team, especially Geo, go above and beyond the call of duty every day. It's a marvel to see them in action. Much respect and gratitude!

I have gotten facials here, as well as some microdermabrasion. Although Rescue Spa is a bit pricey, it is definitely worth it!

I received a gift certificate from my husband for a massage which was such a positive experience it led to me going once a month throughout my pregnancy for prenatal massages, all with Elaine. It’s not inexpensive but the value is unquestionable, from the reception by staff and facility to the massage. Elaine played a key role in keeping me sane and healthy during my pregnancy. Always friendly and professional, she had an innate knowledge of where my body needed help. As a veterinarian working 12 hr shifts she was a lifesaver. Elaine and Rescue Spa will have a loyal client in me for years to come, and I’d recommend them to anyone. You can pay for two less expensive, lower quality massages somewhere else or pay for the real health benefits and exceptional experience at Rescue Spa.

I have yet to book a service here, but I'm not aware of another place selling Biologique Recherce in the Philadelphia area, so their store alone is well worth the five stars for me. I've purchased from their online store and the packages have arrived within a couple of days and were packaged beautifully and included samples and instructions.

Phone representatives and spa receptionists have been consistently rude and impatient for no reason. I buy a specialty skincare product from Rescue Spa Philly that isn’t found anywhere else close to me, otherwise I wouldn’t put up with such shockingly poor and disappointing customer service. For such a nice-looking, “highly rated” spa, do much better.

I went during the COVID-19 pandemic and was impressed with their protocol for safety and hygiene. Waiting area was closed so needed to arrive 10mins prior and was immediately greeted by Geo and he explained everything to me. Masks were to be worn during the service, the appointments spaced out further to allow time for cleaning appropriately, the sheets on the bed were disposable, hand sanitizer EVERYWHERE and I even appreciated that products for sale were not to be touched. If you wanted to purchase a product or look at something an associate would help you. I would absolutely come back as I felt very safe aside from the fact that my massage was amazing. I wish I booked the 90 minute instead of the 60.

10 stars for Mohamad!! He is an INCREDIBLE stylist! I have long hair, same hair style forever and really wanted something different but that I can style on my own. Moe gave me a beautiful cut with lots of layers to add volume & shape around my face. The cut came with a wash & blow out. Best blow out of my life. In addition to the cut & blow out, Moe did my keratin. My hair has never been more shiny, it feels like silk. I highly recommend Moe if you're interested in a keratin treatment. Rescue Spa is lucky to have Mohamad, he is FABULOUS!

Went here for the first time today and had a classic facial with Enna. It was the best facial I've ever had. So often I leave facials red and blotchy, but today I was glowing and not at all red, even after all of the extractions. I also learned so much throughout the process. And I really appreciate the fair pricing here. I've gotten facials along the Main Line that I think are just overpriced for the experience you get, which is why I started looking in the city. I love this spa. I have been a client for almost 10 years and it is hands down the best spa in Philadelphia. I have manicure and pedicure as well as facial services here on a monthly basis. While, the costs is a bit higher than other spas in the area, the quality of service and expertise offered is well worth it. It particularly suits me as well, because I live a clean, no make-up no fake nails life. My skin is taken care of by a top esthetician and my nails always look beautiful and healthy. Additionally, during my visits, I am always greeted by the lovely Lisa who provides me with a relaxing cup of freshly brewed hot tea or a glass of iced tea. Overall, it is a great place to escape to from the hustle and busle of the city, work or anything causing stress in your life.

Just finished my second facial with Cheryl and WOW. Not only is the facility beautiful and the front desk staff friendly and helpful (they always take the time to price products for me and even provide samples for me to try), but Cheryl is amazing. You absolutely cannot beat the quality of a Rescue Spa facial and the price point is beyond reasonable for all the time, attention to detail and product used! Cheryl legitimately takes the time to analyze and assess my skin and any concerns I have, and treats EVERYTHING within the hour period I have with her while educating me on what she’s using and what I might benefit from. I never feel pressured to buy anything either. Cheryl makes recommendations and pulls product for me but I always feel comfortable to say, “You know what? I’ll do this product today, and this one the next time I come.” Overall, I’ve had two back-to-back quality experiences where I’ve left with visible results, and I buy one product at a time so I can start to build my own skin care arsenal to take better care of my skin at home for more consistent results. This review is based on the customer service I received in a remote consultation regarding their products, I have never physically been to the spa. I contacted Rescue Spa needing some direction as to product purchases, and they were more than 1. Prompt, 2. Very thorough in their response (which was completely free btw). I was very impressed with this level of customer service. I'm an avid and frequent spa-goer, from quaint to the (not exaggerating) most high-end/luxury, so I really can appreciate and recognize when there's simply an extra touch of class. 5 stars for this sector of your business, Rescue Spa.

On the day of service I was like ok I like this place massage was good facial was nice the nail service was ok would have been better if she reached the sides of the nails next day to my surprise my toe nail paint already has a chip in it and the other side was never sealed in the front one day for that to happen is unacceptable now I have to go to a different salon to redo my toes if they manage to mess that up I know my fingers should as well get redone too don’t want to go to a special occasion having chipped nails. Extremely disappointed in their nail service other then that everything else was good.

Connie is amazing! I have combination skin and difficulty with sensitivity. I have lupus and during flares the inflammation causes a malar rash on my face. It makes my skin red and irritated with raised lesions. I've had e estheticians confuse the rash for acne and make it worse. Connie knew exactly what was going on with my immune system. She suggested products from Biologique Recherche, P50 and cream dermopurifiante along with Jan Marini sunscreen. My skin looks and feels phenomenal. I've had multiple physicians ask me what I was using on my skin because it's glowing. Several people actually thought I was wearing makeup. Not only has Connie's expertise helped my skin look beautiful, she has helped me feel beautiful. I will continue to order any product Connie suggests for my skin. I cannot wait to get a facial from her at Rescue Spa on my next visit to Philadelphia. Connie is truly an asset to the Rescue Spa team. I'm grateful she's helping me take care of my skin.

Beautiful place. Great services with nice extras like steam shower and sauna. They also have complimentary infused water, coffee and light treats I've had wonderful massages and facials there... I've had a few duds along the way but most are excellent. Their products are pricey but most are well worth it and in many cases they will give you samples to help you decide if you want to invest.

Of the handful of facials I've had, Jeni's was by far the best. Incorporates lots of massage so it felt good during, and left my skin in great shape. I had no problems with the counter staff (dressed pretty casually).

My Mother came to Rescue Spa for the first time for a service . She exclaimed it was pristine, the front desk was great. What made it extra wow’ing was that she had asked for water and whoever she spoke with advised the cafe was closed due to CDC guidelines; however, a very young Gentleman explained that typically they don’t provide water due to the guidelines, but out of nowhere ran out to buy her water. She’s much older and definitely needed a glass of water. I’m in the industry and for that Gentleman, Gio to actually run out of his way and perhaps jeopardize his job to get an elderly woman a bottle of water was a WOW factor. I have recited this beautiful story for the past 48hours to friends and family. Thank you for making this a much enhanced experience, Gio for my elderly Mother! It takes someone who gets it to make an experience spectacular.

Barbarann- Hair stylist- is exceptional at what she does. Anyone who has long hair knows how anxiety riding it can be when your stylist asks how much you want trimmed. When the split ends come, I leave it in her hands. Her cuts frame my face beautifully. Whether she does a teeny tiny or a whole whopping inch i know she's gonna do a great job. i felt silly for feeling emotional when she suggested an inch and a hafl this last time! She reassured me that it was normal to feel that way, and our emotions and health are connected to our hair. I agreed with her suggestion, probably bc she's so nurturing and not pushy and the hair needed it!. BarbaraAnn surprised me be only taking an inch, saying she compromised bc she wanted me to feel good about it. Thats quality respectful service. We play around with color and I haven't been disappointed yet. Blow outs, hell yes. All in all she's top notch and the way my hair moves and feels and looks, reflects that too.

The new space is absolutely beautiful!! I’ve gone to Rescue for years for my facials and it is one of my favorite spots in the city. My friends and I have come back here over and over again. Unfortunately, the experience and results are truly dependent on the esthetician you get. I really should keep a record of who I had each time but I thought the treatments should be pretty consistent. I wouldn’t recommend spending the money if you’re pregnant. It was my first time there pregnant and it felt more like a relaxing massage with products being put on instead of having treatments to improve my skin texture and problem areas like I had in the past; also it was more so 45 minutes than the full 60 I had paid for. My friends still loved their treatments and had the full hour they paid for unlike me unfortunately. I would definitely go back but request someone else.
