Called Hot Hands looking to get a massage as a gift for my daughter who lives near there. Spoke with Damian, the owner, and he inquired as to what services would be best for her. Gave me a great deal on a massage and facial. Upon learning I lived out of state, he sent a lovely gift bag with gift cards and service menus for me to give my daughter. He sent me a photo of the products and receipt when it was mailed. Thought this was above and beyond customer service for new customer. I am so grateful for his attention. It’s rare to get this kind of generosity in business much any more. Thank you!

Kate & William are amazing. Both have amazing energies and are friendly as well. Just went in for my first appointment with William (never had a male therapist before) and it’s changed my life. I signed up for the membership right away and booked out for three months. He was incredible at releasing tensions and stretching my hips and neck. I felt drunk after the massage it was so wonderful. Recommend this place 100%. Damien also had great vibes when talking with me at reception.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful! The place gave me really relaxing vibes and it was really comfortable while getting the facial because the bed was warmed up! But the facial routine was really basic (just applying multiple products without any facial massage or extraction). It’s really hard to schedule an appointment with them because of COVID, so schedule your session ahead of time.

I have seen William and Damien and both are friendly, professional, and clearly experts at their craft. The front desk staff is always very kind. my experience here is always exceptional Damien and his team at the spa are more personal and consistent with every visit. They don't charge tax and they make sure that you get a full hour session which is a rarity in this industry these days.. definitely a Hidden Gem

Don’t write reviews, but I really enjoyed my experience today. I had Symone and i had booked the Groupon Bliss Spa package. It was a 60 min massage, 60 min facial, foot scrub and scalp oil massage. It was extremely relaxing and Symone did an absolutely wonderful job. I signed up for the monthly membership due to my experience today. It was a bit challenging booking an appointment through the phone, and it wasn’t definitely short of the full 2 hours, however the job she did still made up for that. For the massage - it was the perfect pressure, and she focused on my problem areas. For the facial - she did extraction. Product placing/masks and also a proper facial massage. I can feel the difference. Absolutely recommend this place.

Love my Masseuse Deidre, had her the first time with my Groupon deal and immediately signed up as a member. I've been going since last year and she has been consistent everytime she always hit the spots, I never leave in pain, I always feel relaxed. I recently had William, who is also really good, they use different methods, but both are amazing with their hands. I always get 90mins and it is definitely the best massage ever. Any issues that I may have encountered, Damien the owner took care of it. Definitely recommend this place the membership is the best way to go and it is worth every penny.

I became a member back in March after my first massage with Damian. He is absolutely incredible! Being pregnant, my body is always achy and he knows just what to do to make me feel human again. I also have gotten a facial from Lauren here and I felt like we could've talked for hours (and my skin was in such great condition after)!!This spa is cozy, real, and down to Earth. They are upfront about being busy but are more than willing to schedule you out months in advance to accommodate services. Thank you for taking care of and pampering this pregnant mama!

I’ve been to Hot Hands on two different occasions, once to get a facial (3/5 stars) and once to get a massage (5/5 stars). Each time I went, the receptionist was very nice and offered me water while I waited. I don’t remember my facial technician’s name, but I would rate the service a 3/5. I was unhappy with the lack of extractions and exfoliation. The massage, on the other hand, was amazing. Deidre was PHENOMENAL and I will definitely be going back for more massages from her. She listened to exactly what I wanted and really worked out a lot of the knots in my back. Each time I was there the owner, Damian, greeted me and seemed very friendly. They seem very customer-service oriented.

A hidden gem. Affordable monthly membership. Damien, the owner, is the nicest guy in the world and a great masseuse. He really cares about his customers and treats you like family. Do yourself a favor and join! Support local business! I don't want to write this because I'll be mad if people book her, but Merissa is the best. Her hours are more limited than others, but she's worth the wait.

I went for the first time yesterday due to a Groupon i received! IT WAS AMAZING. I can say its best to schedule your appointment online, and i had zero trouble that way. Be aware its COVID and Valentines day so they are busy but be patient it was totally worth it! William did an amazing job and I am pretty sure a monthly membership is in my future!!

Best massage value anywhere around. Damian (owner) is fantastic! Takes customer service to another level. April is definitely my new wax specialist. I've never felt more taken care of before. Even when I mess up my appointment times, they somehow manage to squeeze me in. Love it here!

I've been here many times over the last two years. I've read other reviews who are upset about the appointment making process, which is weird to me- when I call to make an appointment they are usuallly booked pretty far in advance, but they will put me on a waiting list for any cancellations. They also will contact the owner to see if there's any flexibility in his schedule, so I appreciate that. The long wait for an appointment is worth it, in my opinion. Damian does my massages and is always wonderful, professional, and friendly. I had a facial here one time and it was also very relaxing and nice, but my acne-prone skin needs a lot of experimenting before I find the most effective facials for me. Overall a great experience, a nice atmosphere, and friendly staff!

I love this place! I've been going here for about 2 years and now have a monthly membership. ChrisIris is my new favorite therapist. She listens to my needs, gives me great feedback on ways to improve my pain, and has great massage technique. This place is professional, mostly affordable, quaint, and friendly. If you're unsure about the membership: know that they are really flexible about rolling over unused massages from a busy month to the next month for free, they give you $2 back in account credit per visit, and you can cancel anytime if you change your mind. I really love it and look forward to my massage each month. Also, they're now offering CBD products to buy separately or added onto your massage!

I am updating my review for this place. Initially I was having trouble getting in touch with the spa but that was resolved. So, here I give this place 5 stars, the massage therapists here are excellent and I always leave the place happy! I always book my next appointment before I leave. As I previously mentioned in my review, except for the occasional communication gap, I really like and enjoy this place. My advice to new users shall be just be a little patient and you shall not regret the service.

Hot hands always delivers. This was our second time getting the couples' massage and we were not disappointed. It felt like the focus of the massage was largely on my back, which is fine, because I guess I needed it, from the amount of knots I did not realize I had. I would say weeknight and weekend reservations are hard to make, so make your reservations as soon as possible.

I first found Hot Hands through Groupon. I really enjoy my visits for Massage Therapy with Damian. I've tried the CBD Oil massage and the Deep Tissue Massage. I enjoy the Deep Tissue the most because it is very intensive in the areas I need it the most (my shoulders are very knotted). Damian's massages are very intuitive. I tell him where I'm having trouble and he applies the right amount of pressure and attention. I've become a regular patron there. I didn't realize how much chronic pain I had in my back and shoulders until I didn't have it anymore. Great service!

it started very disappointing and getting an appointed seemed very difficult and almost impossible as no one answers the phone but my whole view changed when i arrived there. very clean and nice place. My Masseuse was Allie she is great, very personable and professional. I will definitely go back there very soon. they take care good of you. the missing star is for the hard appointment making process which is annoying.

It had been about a year since I got a deep tissue massage and was much needed, I don't remember my massage therapists name but she was so sweet and was figuring out the best way to tackle my chronic pain. I left feeling refreshed, loose, and not oily! I'm definitely going back sooner than later!

Had a great experience here! Purchased a Groupon for a couples massage. We live in NJ but it was worth the drive over the bridge to south Philly. Small place (though you have to expect that in a city rowhouse) but clean, the people were friendly and it was one of the best massage experiences we have ever had. They use warm water foot pillows on the massage tables and warm towels on your body as well as warm lotion. Such a relaxing experience! The owner, Damian, worked on my husband. Both our masseurs were super friendly and very good at what they do. Would definitely go back here!

My sister and I went yesterday and had both massages and facials. I am giving the experience 4 stars because of the people who took care of us. My masseuse was Emily and I can't rave enough! I am a server and am on my feet all day and she really hit every spot with the perfect amount of pressure. My facial was done by Liz, or as some woman referred to her as the "blonde latino woman" (so rude), and she was amazing! She was super knowledgeable and gave me all sorts of tips that I am already trying. She also took care of my sister Holly and she agrees that she was awesome. Holly's massage was done by the owner who she says was exceptional, very friendly and very professional. The reason for only 4 stars is mainly because of the receptionist. I walked in and she didn't even look up at me, even as I stood there for about a minute. She finally did and no hello, good morning, just "name?". I again said how are you and her response was "aren't you coming I with someone?" Same when I left, I walked up to the desk to ask about tip envelopes and she was too busy on Facebook to notice me until I asked her. The receptionist is the first impression and this wasn't a good one. My job also gets reviewed which is why I'm taking the time to give Emily and Liz their rave, and as for the receptionist maybe she was just having a bad day but she definitely needs to work on customer service. The place was tiny, no bells or whistles but it had the necessary things. I had my treatments which were awesome, and enjoyed my experience overall. Services were good, but place is kinda dirty. While laying down for services, I had to stare at the dusty ceiling and ventilation system. The amount of dust is caked on, and I didn't care to be laying under it for my services. Staff was nice, but the place needs a deep cleaning and dusting.
