Love this experience! I prefer the closed pod to the open pool but I am always cold and I feel like I stay a little warmer that way. Tho I would open pool over not being able to float at all. The dark and still and quiet is just amazing for my body, mind, and soul. I feel super zoned out and relaxed in the best way after a float. It does take planning as they book up fast and fairly far out- but I always feel it is worth it.

Today was my first time ans visit. I really enjoyed the level of customer service I received from the moment I booked my appointment until the time I left. I received a lot of useful information prior to my visit which helped to ease my anxiety. I would definitely use this service again. The only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is because I was missing the complimentary loofah and the water wasn't as warm; I'm not sure how long the water had been in the pod prior to my arrival. I highly recommend for those who really enjoy bathing as this felt like a temporary get away!

I felt a little trepidation about Floating at first, but now I'm like, whhyyyyyyy didn't I try this sooner?!? I can't wait to go again. It's such a great "Treat Yourself" gift for a day off work! I felt a mix of effervescence and relaxation for the rest of the day. Fabulous, kind, friendly staff.... squeaky clean... perfect for an introvert who might not relax well during a massage. Just cocoon up in your pod and enjoy no one bothering you for an hour plus!!

Wow, if you are looking for relaxation and renewal this is the place. The floating is an AMAZING experience. There is relaxing music and soothing blue lights. Afterwards they offer you specialty teas and there is also a "getting ready room" with hair dryers so you can do your hair and make-up and leave like a new person afterwards. It's so relaxing, my blood pressure even went down 10 points! I also tried the Novo-therapy, I felt energized afterwards. They also offer free floats to veterans in November, this place is such a Gem. You must put this on your 'must try' list.

This experience was great. Maddie was incredible with informing me on this experience that was new to me. I was able to enjoy my float services with ease because of a well walk through. Very friendly. The establishment is very clean, easy to navigate through, and serene. Everything was perfect.

ALWAYS an amazing experience! I've gone many times within the past few years and every time has been so relaxing and pleasant. All of the staff I've interacted with are kind and helpful. We unfortunately had to make a cancelation without 24 hours notice once and it was kindly canceled with no penalty (this was the first time we ever canceled). I will come back often!

It was my first time going to a sensory deprivation experience and Float MKE came through. They have an excellent discount for the military that my spouse and I took advantage of this month. Logan made the experience simple and gave excellent instruction for a smooth float. This place is clean and a work of art. Bravo Float Milwaukee for having a gem that the mindfulness community can enjoy. If you haven't tried this experience out do yourself a favor and check them out. Cheers!

When you arrive you park across the street in one of the float designated spaces then call to be let in. You then go in remove your shoes and switch to spa sandals. Once your waiver is signed they will show you a video or give you the rundown on how things work if you prefer. The space is spa like and very clean. The treatment rooms have everything you need except a bathroom which is just a few steps away. Since the water has a salt concentration similar to the dead sea when you float you may be halfway out of the water. They keep the air quite warm. The water is about the temperature of a bath. You can have an open pool or a pod with a lid. I chose the pod which was not claustrophobic at all. The air inside gets like a steamroom so, I liked it partially open. The music is instrumental and the blue light is farly bright but, indirect. You can choose to have them off if you prefer. I found it to be a unique relaxing and pain relieving experience. You will leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and limber!👍

A very beautiful and peaceful place. I loved the pod and the room. The halo (pillow) was really comfortable to use. They provide ear plugs. The shampoo, body wash and conditioner they provide smells wonderful. I like that there is a room to get your hair and face done back up after your float. Complete with blow dryers, hair strighteners, curling irons, hairspray, lotion, etc... Give it a try!!!

I had always wanted to try floating, and the $45 special was a great reason to do it now! It was very clean and the decor was hip and modern. I felt welcome. I got to try one of the pools, as opposed to a pod, so the water was cooler than I expected, and the room itself was hot and steamy. I was expecting body temperature water. I turned off both the pool light and the music, which was suggested to me as a first timer, and was worried that I wouldn't be able to find the light switch when the time was up, because it is so dark inside. Thankfully, the lights and music turned on automatically at the end! I used the pillow and the earplugs. It felt like I was in suspended animation, because I was supported so evenly all over. I did meditation while in it, and the time kind of flew by. It was relaxing and I can't wait to get family and friends to try it. The price is steep, but it will definitely be a once a year indulgence for me.

Visited Float Milwaukee for an overnight float, they are available on the first Friday of the month. I had been wanting to do an overnight float for quite some time and it worked out with my schedule. Very nice, clean place with all the amenities and some nice extras, like the Urbal post float tea. Besides the pods, they also have float pools which I had never seen before. Highly recommend Float Milwaukee to veterans and first time floaters.

Today was the first time I tried the Float experience. It was a 60 minute session. This type of relaxation/therapy is the best bar none!! While I was in the pod I couldn't stop smiling because I such an awesome experience! Someone recommended this to me because I deal with high stress levels, anxiety, and never really feel relaxed. Thank God I did this. I've never felt more relaxed and at ease in my life!! I would strongly recommend this to anyone whether or not you have the issues I mentioned YOU WILL LOVE IT I'll definitely be going back that's for sure. I'd like to say thank you to the wonderful and very friendly staff. See you again!!

Wow, I & my husband loved it! The staff was lovely, simply perfection... they took the time to explain everything and put us at ease right away; it was our 1st time... The location is great.. The entire experience was so completely relaxing. The float itself was ideal, and the warm room float water, and hot shower after before & after was just what the dr ordered... I would suggest that you take a cool shower in the summertime obviously. I will highly recommend it to everyone. 5 Stars Across the Board. (FYI, the cleanliness was also immaculate)

Float had a very clean, relaxing environment. I am looking forward to my next opportunity to get a float in. My tips: 1. My second float went way better than my first. So keep that in mind. 2. This is an hour of your personal time; use it how you see fit. This is a block of my time where nobody was going to bother me. I get a bit over heated before I'm done. I get out, take a shower, and chill for a few minutes before I leave. 3. If you are a larger size human, you may want to bring a larger towel for when you are done.

My first visit. Very interesting experience. It takes a little getting used to, but is definitely worth trying. Very relaxing and would do it again. My wife and I tried the pods. I liked being able to close it up, my wife was in the same kind and found she had to prop it open a little cause it was a little warm for her. She still really enjoyed it and already has plans for another visit. I have recommended this to my friends already. Great experience.

First time doing this type of thing and did the individual pool. Great experience and can't wait to try the pod and float into nothingness. Spacing appts/ppl out due to concerns for COVID was great. Cleanliness was fantastic too.

This is a must do. I have never been so relaxed in my life. You get to a point where all you notice is your breathing. You forget your body is even there. I tried doing mindfulness meditation to relax my body but found I was already fully relaxed. The best part is that I don't remember the last time I didn't have back pain but I don't right now! It was a beautiful experience. I need to find out what type of body wash, shampoo and conditioner they provide because it smells amazing.

Amazing experience! So relaxing! You feel like you’re floating on a cloud. I thought I would become claustrophobic inside one of those pods with the top closed down on me but I did not it was like my own little private hot tub there was plenty of room inside of the pod to float around freely and lots of room between the water and the roof of the pod, plus it’s lit up with these very subdued lights or you can have it completely dark, either way it’s up to you but the lighting is perfect! Then you can play music or you can have complete silence. It’s the best Meditation ever, so peaceful, and most relaxing experience I’ve ever had and it is amazing for sore muscles and achy joints!!!! They also completely clean each pod and pool after each use. Every time I used it, it was always very clean! They even supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash, for you to shower with before you get in so your body is clean when you get into the pod/pool and to shower/rinse off when you get out. You get clean towels every time too , you don’t bring your own they provide. Then they have hair/beauty supplies hairspray, blow dryer etc for you to use when you get out.

If you ever have a chance to check out float Milwaukee, it will be the best decision you ever make. I don't go often maybe once or twice a year, but it is so worth it to just lay there and relax. You leave like a new person, less tense and happy. I tend to get very tight muscle in my back and it helps relax them and also my stress level. The pods are my favorite. Perfect ending to my day.

The pod rooms were extremely clean and neat. They provide a private shower located in the pod room, and body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. They also have a "get ready" room where you can do your makeup and style your hair (straighteners, curling irons, and blow dryers are provided) after your float session. Also, they staff were extremely friendly and accomadating. The float experience was overall very pleasant! It was my first time so I had trouble relaxing at first, but after I got used to the feeling, I was able to relax and even fall asleep. The pod is a sense deprivation chamber, and it really helped me relax to the point that I had no awareness of anything around me. After the float, I got to relax in a little room where they provide adult coloring books, magazines, and complimentary tea. Overall, it was a great experience! I would definitely come back and float again!

The ultimate in "me time." I went for my first time and enjoyed the pod experience. In the pod, you can choose whether or not to have music or light during your float...a nice option for first timers. Overall the facilities were very clean and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I would go again!

Absolutely love everytime I end up doing this at float Milwaukee!!! It really is one of the most peaceful and serene escapes mentally and physically. It feels like your in a whole other world once you "float" away in your mind. It really does relieve a lot of tension in your muscles. I really highly recommend giving this a try if you have never done it before. The staff is so friendly and helpful especially when it was a totally new experience for me. They are very clean and safe as far as covid protocol is concerned as well!!!

Had a wonderful first float here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very relaxing environment and unique experience I highly recommend. I was so relaxed I fell asleep in the pool. Not sure about the pods, will try them next, but the pool was great for 'starfish' style floating.

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES.... try Floating! Its a great experience and I really like this facility best. Just seems cleaner than other places I've tried. Also, don't discount floating on your first try, the first time can be just about getting used to it. Its a whole and unique experience and it may be hard to just relax... but by the second or third go you will be nodding off like me and waking up feeling really great... it also just helps with aches and pains and allows your body to relax into its natural state of being, slowly releasing tension and letting the magnesium from the salt really help those sore muscles. Go and enjoy the benefits of this very pleasant and healing experience.

It was interestingly different. Very comfortable and clean establishment. This was my first float and wasn't sure what to expect. I'm looking for different techniques and practices to help me to relax and clear my mind. The float we comforting and very relaxing. I think possibly after a few more floats I will learn how to do it to be more beneficial to my mind and body. I kept the pod lights off with the meditation music on.

We tried Floating for the first time at Float Milwaukee and everything was amazing! We had been here for a Yelp event recently and it was great to learn about it then and now be back for the actual Float itself. We checked in once we came to the reception. We signed a waiver with information electronically which was emailed to us for our records. And then soon after we were taken inside to our rooms and given instructions for the float. The rooms were kept very clean and everything you can think of that you can possibly need is available. They also have a getting-ready room for after with hair dryers and lotions and everything else that you can use after the Flot itself. I liked how the lids can completely close and it becomes completely dark. You have the option of having the light on inside the tank or even the lid open which gives everyone so much flexibility. For the first 10 mins, take your time to figure out things - what sound level, do you like the light or not, do you like the neck pillow, ear buds on or off and similarly lid closed or open. Once you find that sweet spot.. settle in and you won't even know where the hour went. A lot of people talk about falling asleep in the tank, but this wasn't the case for me. You do feel very relaxed and calm! Freshwater st is a busy street so I was super thrilled to fin d Float offering parking right across the street. This was an experience I highly recommend to everyone. Go for it!

This place is phenomenal. My son bought me a float for Christmas & it took me over a year to use it. Wish I would'verealized just how relaxing & calming the effects are. I love this place & I love how military friendly they are. I HIGHLY recommend any & everyone to try an hour long float session. It will refresh you. The employees here have always been exceptionally helpful & friendly!

This is one of the best things I've ever done. I was cry worried about closing the pod because I can get claustrophobic, but even with the lid down there's probably still enough room to stand up and that eased my mind a lot. I thought I'd get bored and feel like I was in there forever but time went by pretty quickly. It's very relaxing and a much different feeling than floating in a regular pool. There's a shower in each room which is great, it's very private. There's also a shared room with blue dryers, hair products, deodorant, etc. everything you need to get ready. I have a lot of problems with chronic pain and anxiety and this helped a great deal with both. If you're on the fence about doing this I would strongly encourage you to try it!!

More relaxed than I've been in years. Lighting and music enhance the experience. This was my first float ever. All was explained to me well ahead of time. I feared I would be claustrophobic, but I was not. Andy and staff make all feel comfortable as soon as they walk in the door. Relaxation and tea room is great. Clean and comfortable accomodations; great after float changing room. I will be buying a 3 session package and bringing a friend.

I floated recently and it was one of the coolest experiences I've had in a while. The closest way to describe it would be to imagine resting on a cloud for an hour. Andy and crew were super nice and the place was accommodating on all fronts including a place to collect yourself and enjoy some tea. Would definitely recommend giving this a try if you're looking for a new way to relieve stress and chill for awhile.

I love visiting float centers, and Float Milwaukee nailed it. The space is beautiful, and the owner, Andy, and staff are very accommodating. I had a wonderful float in one of their pods. It's a great place to explore your inner being or simply enjoy the most relaxing environment on the planet. The space is clean and relaxing. And that glass wall when you walk in... awesome.

A unique experience and interesting to try at least once. My music didn't work in my pod and neither did the intercom so couldn't reach anyone. Representative who checked me in was friendly and informative. Different representative on duty when I was leaving didn't acknowledge nor inquire how things went nor thanks for coming. Others have had better experiences so mine might have been the exception. Give it a go.

Whoa. Talk about relaxing! It was my first time floating anywhere, but it definitely won't be my last! Once you arrive (15 min before appointment), you exchange you shoes for some spa scandals and sign a release form like at a well spa. Andy (owner) then takes you on a quick tour of the facility and a step by step of how things work. Once you shower prior to the float (body wash & shampoo provided), you can get right in and close the pod. There are controls to adjust the lighting and music (on/off and level). From there you just let go and relax. It takes some time to fully relax, like really really relax. But once you do - oh man you're on cloud 9. A giant puffy cloud where you really do lose sense of your appendages. After the hour is up, the light comes on and you have about 2-3 minutes to get your bearings before the filtration process starts. From there you shower again, this time using the conditioner (provided). Once you're all sparkling clean again, you can swing by the prep room to do your makeup or put contacts in (they also have hair straightener and blow dryers) before hitting the relaxation room for water/tea. What a wonderful experience. I would encourage everyone to try this experience! 100% will be back. Tip: don't touch your face once you get in the pod, unless you're into the whole salt water thing.

The location is really cool and the staff are attentive towards your needs. Highly highly recommend this place for sure, even works great for athleats as well and promotes better sleep after a session!

First Float Experience, Truly Amazed! Andy (and staff) answered all my questions and was extremely knowledgeable about the history, theory and practice of float thearpy. The facility is beautiful and well thought out (love the design inspiration of the glistening wall). My muscle aches from the gym are more manageable and I'm feeling ready to tackle another round at the gym. Look forward to my next float session so I can focus on meditation. This place offers incredibly generous support of veterans! They offer up to 3 free floats for veterans during the month November. Most places would give a discount on veteran's day or a free float on veteran's day only. This place is also clean and quiet while you float.

Warm inky blackness like floating in space. Turn off the lights and music and you'll lose all track of time, maybe even hallucinate a little. More relaxing than a deep tissue massage of the same length. Can't wait to go back!

Very friendly & professional staff! I stopped by out of curiosity and Heather offered me a cup of tea and an appointment if willing to wait for about an hour. Listening to others coming and going, people LOVE this place. I browsed a neat book, 'Blue Mind' (Wallace Nichols) in the waiting area, reminded me of another I had read - 'The True Power of Water' (Masaru Emoto). When aware of these concepts, the float is optimized and the relaxation is amazing. Stress melts away! When finished, I never felt so clean and refreshed! Very purifying and transformative for those wanting to 'let go'.

I really enjoyed the float. It was very relaxing, but I wish they had emphasized using the ear plugs. My sister didn't use them at all, but I did. After our float she started experiencing popping in her ears. The salt was recrystallizing in her ears. She went to the doctor with an ear infection and was given ear drops to try to remove the salt that formed in her middle ear. I wore the ear plugs and days later I have a mild ear infection due to the salt. The float was fabulous and I'll go again but I'm jamming those ear plugs in there better next time.

Float's staff is so kind and down-to-earth–they always have been, including the owner. From the setting, even before I float, I feel such peace. They have really outdone themselves in setting up the rhetorical situation. Embodying an essence of peace is pinnacle here. Back some time they were doing phenomenal military vet and family discounts, which my mother and I reaped; that was SO thoughtful! And such an applicable gift for those who have served. The toll of the experiences had by vets and their families are some no others will ever fully understand. Float MKE offered a solution of great value, I believe, and I am very grateful for that. Nonetheless, the product is fabulous. I don't think the price is bad relative to–let's say–a spa. You should want to float, and you will want to float again–at Float MKE!

I just got off the phone with Jenna to schedule my second float. The staff is pleasant and extremely helpful. The entire week is booked and they still managed to fit me in for a late night float before my big surgery on Friday morning. BRAVO FLOAT MILWAUKEE!!

First Float Experience - 60 Minutes The staff is very friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions completely and thoroughly. Details for Floating A before and after shower is included with your float. Paraben and sulfate free natural shampoo, body wash and conditioner is also provided as well as a towel. There is the option to do your float with relaxing meditation music and/or soft blue lighting. I chose to do my first float with neither the lighting or the music. I find this is the best way to completely relax and clear your head. Be careful not to touch your face during your float because the water is very salty and will irritate your eyes. Ear plugs and a head rest are provided if you want to use them. The ear plugs prevent water from staying in your ear. The head rest prevents your neck from becoming sore. I did my float with neither the ear plugs or head rest and had no problems with water in my ears and I did not get a stiff/sore neck. You will know your float is done when the light comes back on and then there is some soft speaking notifying you that your time has expired. The water is then filtered through an extensive UV process which ensures that the tank and its contents are spotless and cleaned for the next person. My Experience Overall the float left me feeling very, very relaxed. All the muscles in my body felt loose and massaged. If your turn the music and lighting off it really does feel as though you are completely floating. In the beginning, my body sometimes drifted over and touched the wall of the tank. However, if you gently push against the wall your body will float towards the middle and you will stay in that position for the remainder of your float. I made the mistake of accidentally itching my face during the float in which I got salt water in my eye. It was no problem, I simply exited the tank briefly wiped my eyes with the towel and returned to the tank. The floating sensation the tank created was like nothing I have ever experienced before. It was definitely worth the money. After your float, they have really cool herbal teas you can enjoy. I definitely will float again!

This was a really interesting experience. The staff were super cool and I appreciate them going over the rules. If you use the pod, it does get pretty warm inside. I had to open it to cool down, but it didn't ruin my experience at all. If your stomach feels a bit odd, they have mint tea to help out. Turn off the lights to get a better experience! I would definitely do this again!
