I have been following Samara MedSpa on social media for years and finally decided to book an appointment for lip filler. I have wanted lip filler for years and was beyond excited to go. I booked with Michelle and she was fantastic! I was a little nervous but she went above and beyond to help keep me comfortable and relax my nerves by talking to me, ice packs, music, etc. I am thrilled with the outcome and couldn't recommend them enough! Thank you Michelle for giving me my dream lips and the confidence that came with them! I will 100% be back

Samara is a lip and face whisperer! I finally found Samara MedSpa after searching for awhile and couldn't be happier. She emphasizes creating and maintaining balance with her techniques and is a true artist. Samara's approach with me was honest and thorough. During my consultation, she pointed out areas that needed correction, most of which was caused by past injectors. Samara recommended that I dissolve some of the filler and start fresh. This was one of the best decisions I made because within days my facial symmetry returned. I also didn't realize my old lip fillers that I had done several years ago were not only still there, but were placed incorrectly. I didn't see how unnatural they looked until they were dissolved and my true smile returned. I can see my teeth again when I smile and realize that their natural shape is actually pretty! Samara was the only one who was willing to take on other injectors' work and do the steps necessary to fix it. She truly knows how to create and preserve beauty. To all of the beautiful staff at Samara MedSpa, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You gave me my smile back!

They way she injects is so different from anyone I’ve ever seen and I will never go anywhere else. Absolutely amazing! I went to Samara Medspa for lip injections. While I didn’t get to meet Samara herself, I’m sure she’s just as amazing as her staff! Michelle did my lips and she was extremely nice. She explained everything well, answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I have gone to Samara for my lips several times now and the results are always amazing. It may take a little while to achieve the look you want, depending on your anatomy. You have to trust the process, or else you can just go to another injector and get botched which is what I wanted to avoid because I’ve made that mistake before. I only have good things to say about this place and I hope they continue to grow in different locations.

After a horrific experience with my former ENT that claimed to be capable of facial injections, I learned to check the top injector list and found Samara! I was educated by her staff over the phone about the likelihood of having to have my old filler dissolved, so it was no shock to me when Samara looked and said she’d have to dissolve and have me come back with a fresh canvas. The results are night and day. I’m 41 years old and no one has any clue, because between the skin care I got from Samara and the injections I look better than ever, as a realtor in New London County. Samara was absolutely incredible and her results are amazing. She made sure I was comfortable (I mean everything from playing my favorite songs while she injected me to checking in on me every few injections) and gave me the best results. She told me how much product she would need to achieve the results I wanted and she fully delivered. Her staff was incredible and made me feel beautiful, listened to all of my concerns, and made sure the results were what I wanted (even after our session). Her prices may be higher but they are absolutely accurate to the results you’ll get. If you have any cosmetic goals, I would absolutely suggest visiting Samara. Came to Samara about 2 weeks ago for lip injections. Sadly I had to have my lips dissolved and wait to have them injected (which is totally fine because she was worth the wait). I went home from my initial appointment with some skincare products she recommended. I have struggled with acne scarring and discoloration for years. MY SKIN IS THE BEST IT HAS EVER LOOKED! Even my husband is amazed and lets be honest, husbands rarely notice anything so that says ALOT! I’ve spent thousands of dollars before Samara trying different products and treatments. Her injection techniques are definitely more advanced then previous injectors that have done my lips. They are absolutely perfect and I am beyond happy. She is warm and charismatic. I ended up getting Trusculpt along my jaw with Natalie, who is fantastic and immediately feels like a girlfriend. She keeps comfort top of mind and is very knowledgeable about skin care. I followed her advice to try ZO products and for the first time in my life I saw an actual improvement in my skin’s texture and color from a skincare product. I also did lip and nasolabial fold filler. I was concerned about looking fake but Samara is an artist. My lips look incredible. The confidence these small changes have given me is unbelievable. This place is one of the highest rated/positively talked about spas in CT so I obviously knew if I was going to go anywhere it was here. I had an apt with Michelle and she was fantastic. Samara is an artist and the most talented injector. I have naturally small lips with no shape and have been getting lip injections for almost 10 years now because I was very insecure about them. I went to several different providers located in LA, FL, and CT but unhappy with the results. I even went to “top” rated injectors and plastic surgeons but ended up looking overfilled and shelfy. She removed the filler and re injected and I will never go to anyone else even if I move out of the state, I will travel back to CT just to go to her. I am very pleased about the expertise of Samara in every aspect of my look. She is always suggesting good treatments to do on my face without pushing anything in particular but the wellness of my skin. Looking carefully about every detail and enhancing me. She cares about natural looks and healthy skin and for me that is enough to trust her. Also with Michele I have had micro-needling and laser treatment to remove pigmentation and I am very please with the results. I am still looking to see a porcelain finishing on the color of my face but I imagine I do need to do my part also to get the most out of it like being careful with the sun exposure, etc. I always have like a brown spot on my chin and front-head that no matter what treatment I do it never vanished 100%. But with them I am heading the right direction here! Love the location and the atmosphere.

I absolutely LOVE this place! From the time you walk in to the time you walk out you are well taken care of. They offer you coffee or seltzer and genuinely mean it (it might seem silly but you don't want to seem like a burden and they happily brought me my americano). I have never done anything extensive with my skin in my entire life, but at 39 I realized it was time to start being proactive with my skincare. My first appointment was a consult where I learned about my skin and got loaded up with ZO products. As someone who has never used more than a face wash and a cream, I was like "okay, here we go". Samara never made me feel bad for not knowing anything about skincare and explained everything thoroughly in the consult. So, if you're brand new to anything MedSpa, even basic skincare, go here! They will not make you feel silly :) I am absolutely in love with the skincare products and I see a difference after only one week of using them. I also booked a CO2 laser treatment and leg vein removal. The light version of CO2 feels like getting scratched, but Maia (I hope I get everyone's names right) held the wonderful cool air perfectly the whole time and Samara checked in on me throughout. Michelle did my leg vein removal and she was so personable and very nice. She also checked in on me throughout and in the end we were wrapping up and she was able to fit it one last bonus area on my leg! I saw a comment where someone said they felt rushed. I personally appreciate that they are all efficient, on time, and end on time since my schedule is tight as a working Mom with two kiddos, so thought I'd throw that out there. It's not rushing, just efficient. Thanks so much!!! I can't wait to continue to see my results and keep coming here for years to come. If you are hesitant to try something new, definitely go to Samara MedSpa. They treat you well, clearly have your best interest in mind, and are all very nice on top of that.

The spa has a very welcoming atmosphere and Natalie was a delightful technician. She was very detailed on explaining her procedure and made my first experience enjoyable. Samara is an artist at building the most beautiful-natural looking lips and facial features. Trained by the best in business, with years of experience and with a unique eye for harmony and perfection, Samara is a hidden gem in the industry. Wish I could explain in words how good of a professional injector she is. Samara is very detailed oriented, takes her time to treat you and the results are just stellar. As an add on, her spa offers a broad array of treatments and skin care products for the skin to look at its best (Natalie is an excellent esthetician). Updated review as of 1/6/22 For years now I have been a dedicated patient and still in awe of the magic Samara and her team work. I recently had three visits with Ariel as he took over the laser genesis. He is gentle, thorough and very knowledgable and let me add very patient. At my last visit I also had my first dermplaning with Tierney - she was also amazing. So detailed and thorough - the best dermaplaning I have had. It was great to also have her help me book new skin care treatments in line with my goals that are part of my skin membership. Definitely the A TEAM at Samara's. Samara is absolutely amazing. I had been contemplating filler for years but the provider I was going to had me completely freaked out. Had told me I would need to take a round of steriods before, during and after, definitely would be bruised badly and would be out of commission for a week. My husband and brother-in-law (both satisfied clients of Samara for laser hair removal) had encouraged me to go meet her. Immediately I felt a great vibe. She reassured me patiently while I asked many questions. Last week I had my first round and am thrilled with the results. It was not painful, I did not bruise and immediately got right back to my day to day life. She is an artist who takes her patients and results extremely seriously. I wouldn't trust anyone else! And of course a huge shout out to Michelle and Danni who reassured me along the way and were as excited as I was with the results:)

I went for a skin consult in oct 2021. Driving over an hour to get to their location. I felt welcomed and communication was spot on from start to finish. From a mix up with booking time to not feeling pressured to purchase anything. I invested in a whole skin care plan with $500 worth of home products. Of course I was skeptical… Would these work? Was this a waste of my time and money? Would this help balance my skin to aid my self care? They were worth every penny spent! The email with a detailed instruction was helpful get me into a routine. I found that I was able to maintain the program without too much change to my regular routine. Which made me fall in love with Zo skin Heath. I ended up ordering the skin tone sunscreen directly through Zo, when I ran out of the trial size, and it was shipped quickly and I was please. So when it came time to replenish my daily stuff I ordered directly again. Well over $300 worth of products were never delivered. I was told I would have to wait 5 days to have a response to even know was a solution was. Requested info and the company was less than helpful, no did the care of I spent $300 of my money. This was frustrating because we all know you need consistency to maintain great skin! I reached out to Samara to re-fill my favorite daily products and they were AMAZING! The level of customer service was superb! I trust their recommendations and they really do have the “patient first mentally”. Emailing was quick and friendly and extremely effortless! I know now to just stick with Samara because you will get the service and care you deserve! Thank you guys! Keep up the hard work!

I have been lucky enough to have my life completely changed by Natalie, one of Samara’s best and brightest. When I first started seeing Natalie I’m October I had been breaking out with severe acne. The first day I saw her she was able to tell me I suffer from fungal acne, this is information no dermatologist had ever even mentioned. In 2018, my acne was terrible. I felt like I had tried everything but nothing was working. Finally I went on accutane for about 8 months which was the worst experience of my life. While it did clear my acne at first.... surprise! It came back in full force about a year after stopping the medication. At first I tried to solve it myself, until I finally admitted to myself that I needed help. Natalie immediately started me on my very own skin care treatment. At our first session I was in awe just by how smart she was, how much she knew, how dedicated she was to not only her job but specifically to helping me. That day I knew my life was going to change. I have been seeing Natalie religiously for about 4-5 months now and my skin has not been this good since I was in high school because for some reason I couldn’t be a normal human being and breakout as a teenager but had to have adult acne instead. First off, I just want to say that Samara Medspa is the best Medspa in Connecticut. I have been going there for a couple of months and I can honestly say my skin has improved so much. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing this place is. I had a consultation with Samara and from there we built a plan for my monthly visits. I’ve ended up signing up for the monthly skin care membership and I’m loving it. I have gotten Microneedling done three times now and after my skin heals (usually fully healed in 2-3 days but ok in 24 hours) i always get the best compliments. I also tried the dermasweep and my skin was glowing!! Everything that MedSpa offers is the best of the best and Both Samara and Melissa are incredibly helpful and listen to what you want to achieve for you skin/body. Update 2: 1/19/21 I felt the need to update because shortly after my last review, Melissa was no longer at medspa and soon after quarantine started. When skin services were back open, medspa took all necessary precautions to kept a clean and safe and environment which I greatly appreciated. I’ve never felt like I was risking anything by going in for my monthly skin care membership. The new esthetician, is Natalie and she is so knowledgeable at what she does. She’s very funny and personable too. I now do a monthly hydrafacial, which is amazing, and once in a while I do the dermaplanning too. The hydrafacial leaves my skin clean, bright and hydrated. The dermaplanning removes peach fuzz and dead skin cells and you skin feels like a baby’s bottom. Not only do I go for the services but also for ZO skin care. What a different good skin care makes! Natalie set me up with the best products and as my skin changes with the seasons, we tweak per what is needed. I started services in attempts to find balance to my skin tone and texture and treat painful acne. I have been using ZO skin care, with a routine which has been customized for my specific needs, and updated as needed. I also have been utilizing the skin care services such as hydrafacial, dermafacial, dermaplaning, lasergenesis, and laseracne. I recently started to explore the world of dysport (a botox alternative), as well as facial/lip fillers , and most recently Kybella for treatment of my double chin. Amazing results!!! I've had Botox and Dysport previously, by several different providers in different places. My last experience with Botox was so bad that I walked around looking like a stroke victim for three months before it finally started to wear off. So it was with much trepidation that I went to see Samara at MedSpa CT, when I could no longer stand the deep creases between my eyebrows and on my forehead. I explained my previous nightmare to her, as well as what I wanted to have done. The results are amazing! She seriously took 15 years off my face. This gal knows her stuff - takes her time, listens to what you're looking for, and will make you look like a goddess. She's the only person I'll ever let fix my wrinkles again. Short story - If you are thinking about visiting Samara MedSpa, don't anymore, just GO! Go FAST! If you want to know what all the good reviews are about. Just see for yourself. My skin has never in my life looked better. Long story - I went to consult to get some sort of skin treatment to help with my pigmentation issues I have had for 20 years. Samara being the honest person she is, suggested that a skin care regiment was what I needed more. After 1.5 months, 20 years of pigmentation that could not be removed with lasers, chemical peels and other lighteners was GONE. Yes, GONE! Ok so am I pink, yes, but that is my brand new skin that I am OHHH SOO COMFORTABLE in and FINALLY, I am showing to the world! My makeup routine is about to be shaken up. NO MORE foundation or concealer! Sign me up for a little cream blush and call it a wrap! My results are insanely amazing (below). No pain, just diligence in the regimen that Samara gave me morning and night. And don't forget to see the magician Natalie who always knows exactly what my skin needs at the right time. So I was born with no upper lip. Literally. The vermilion portion (pink part) of my upper lip curved underneath at all times. I was so self conscious of this. I went to someone else prior to finding Samara….. let me tell you, DO NOT JUST GO TO ANYONE. My lips were horrifying after this other person did them. It was such a bad experience that it took me 3 years to find someone I trusted to fix my lip and give me what I have always wanted/fix my biggest self conscious issue- my upper lip. I followed and researched Samara for years on social media. She is the best of the best. I now not only have an upper lip, but a damn amazing one that looks so natural everyone thinks I was born with it 😉 she is the best of the best and has had to fix my mistake of trying to take a “good deal” to get my dream lips and going to someone else prior to finding her. I am so much more confident now and love myself / my smile that much more!!! I drive over an hour to see her, and I’d drive even further to see her if I had to!!
