I have been in Grand Rapids for two years and have been injected by 3 different injectors at both the Knapp location and the Wealthy location. Today I saw Jessica at the Wealthy location and she did the absolute BEST job with my lips. I tend to have high expectations and usually learn to settle with whatever results I get. It is so nice and refreshing to actually get what I want. Not only is she great at what she does but she is down to earth and a sweetheart too.

Chelsea is the best!! She is so kind and genuinely cares. She is so invested in helping my acne improve. I am not someone to write reviews or stick with going to continuous appointments but Chelsea wants my acne to be better, maybe more than even I do haha and knowing someone cares that much and is so determined to help you makes me keep coming back! Every interaction I have ever had with the employees at UrbanYou has been amazing. I would 100% suggest going here especially over other businesses like UrbanYou because the energy there is so different and more positive than other places in Grand Rapids that offer the same services. Definitely an amazing place:)

I got a lip flip on 8/23 for my bday and I was told it took 2-4 to develop and 2 weeks to hit its peak. Well today on day 5 I could not be happier!! It is seriously so perfect and natural, can’t recommend enough!! (Especially working with Holly).

Urban You is the BEST! Every interaction with their staff is positive and organized. They are always on time, and clearly articulate the procedure. Holly is a miracle worker!! Where can you walk into a place and walk out looking 100% better? She is a great listener and I trust her suggestions implicitly! Brianna does great work - I had never had a hydro facial before... seriously my skin looks great. I would consider myself a beauty novice and have learned so much! Thank you!!

Love going to Urban! First visit was with Katie. She's fantastic! She even assisted me in my skincare concerns recommended some products that i did e d up purchasing after my procedure. Then I saw Jessica. Another fantastic experience! Knowledgeable! She answered all questions. Entire visit was a win win. Only bummer..it could be a coincidence but the few times I've been, seems there's always a new front desk person. Nothing bad or good. Just observation.

I love Urban You! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, as are all the staff members. I recently attended an evening event that they were hosting and it was so much fun, the staff was awesome and friendly, and I can’t wait to attend the next one they host. My lash artist, Leah, is the best! She has been doing my eyelashes for almost a year and she is very kind, talented and professional. I would not have anyone else do my lashes. She has become a sweet friend to me and listens patiently while doing her job. She made me look and feel beautiful at a time in my life when I was not feeling that way at all. I will never forget her and her kindness. I get so many compliments on my lashes and it always makes me so happy to hear!! Leah is also very knowledgeable about all areas of Urban You and the services they offer. Any question I ask, she responds with detailed information and a professional manor. I look forward to my visits to Urban You and especially my time spent with Leah! Thank you for being a beautiful welcoming place!!

I believe that I am one of the pickiest people when it comes to my lash extensions. I go to Jaime at Urban you for my lashes and I am in LOVE. She makes me a priority and makes sure that I leave happy every time. My lashes still look great even when I go for my fill after my 2 weeks. The atmosphere is comfortable, Jaime is so sweet and so fun to chat with but she also is incredibly talented at what she does!! Thank you Jaime for making me feel my absolute best! :)

Jaime has been doing my lashes for awhile now. She is the ABSOLUTE best and I think you'd be hard pressed to find another lash artist that puts as much time and precision into the process. She's a lash wizard! Also, the new Urban You location on Wealthy is amazing. Super trendy, the friendliest staff and just overall the best salon/spa around! If you haven't you NEED to check it out!

I had Josh do my makeup and I was blown away! Not only was he very professional but also very friendly. I hardly ever treat myself to stuff like this and it was nice to have someone who was down to earth and easy to talk to. He is a true artist as well! Jamie is an incredible lash artist! I have been seeing her for about 8 months and constantly get compliments. She is always going to trainings to perfect her craft and it shows, they consistently look great and my retention is fantastic. She has a super gentle touch to the tune of me falling asleep at every appointment. Go see Jamie! She is the best in town!

I was here for the first time today, and I am very impressed! The environment was absolutely beautiful, very modern with a rustic feel. When you walk in through the door, the decor, the feel, just the whole place makes you want to stay. The staff here is very knowledgeable and super friendly. Hannah was awesome about going over the facial process with me and she gave me a couple of tips that I can add to my skincare routine. Darline has been amazing about keeping in touch with me and answering just about every question that I threw at her, from scheduling to the different services to following up with me after my appointment was done. I had a hydrafacial done, which I've never had done before, and that was quite the experience. Throughout my appointment, since the different steps of the facial was explained to me, I wasn't left wondering what was going on and didn't worry at all. In the end, my facial went great, I was able to see my skin glowing afterwards, and my skin feels great! I went back to work, and told two of my coworkers all about it. Highly recommend Urban You!

I teated myself to a lash tint and lift and cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Leah. Immediately upon entering the salon I was wildly impressed with the decor and aesthetic I was presented with. Everything in this space works so well together from strategically placed pants, fur accents & of course the amazing staff. Throughout the entirety of my lash tint & lift I conversed with Leah. She is such a genuine and inspiring individual. It is clear that this is her passion and it truly shows in her work. If you’re ever interested in trying out a tint & lift or extensions, this is your girl. Ever since getting my lashes done, I haven’t felt the need to wear mascara or apply makeup nearly as much as I usually do. I’m so happy I came to Urban You.

I could not be any more pleased with the services I’ve received at Urban You. Every time I’m there, the staff is always so friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. I had my first facial ever with Rachel and was seriously blown away; you could say I’m definitely addicted! I’ve been recommending UY and Hydrafacials to all of my friends since then. I also had my lips done, which was something I was very nervous and hesitant about, but everyone at UY put my mind at ease. The service went flawlessly and I am so ecstatic with the results; it’s exactly what I wanted. I really appreciated that Terry listened to the concerns I had and took into account everything that I was hoping to achieve with my lips (natural, believable, etc). She truly cares about the well-being of her clients, which I believe is rare in the beauty industry. I can’t wait to have more services done at Urban You in the very near future!

I've gotten a hydrofacial and many peels and my skin is always GLOWING after. I have problems with acne and for at least a week my skin is clear and healthy as ever. Blowouts always turn out beautiful and the staff is absolutely amazing! The coolest beauty bar ever I love love love Urban You.

The staff are knowledgable and the location is beautiful. UPDATE: The owner reached out to us directly and made things right. She handled things very professionally and was extremely apologetic. My wife (no longer my fiancé 😎) is enjoying services again at this location. ——————————————— ORIGINAL POST: We have quite the situation with this salon. My fiancé has enjoyed services for over a year with this company. However; once an ex-friend of hers started managing the billing she has made a point to overcharge her credit card after every visit. It happened again today. After each occurance; she charges first then asks for forgiveness — chalking it up to a system error and refunds the transaction. This has now happened 3x in the last month. This is such a prime example of a disgruntled employee abusing access to a business billing system and ultimately destroying the solid reputation of a great company. We will be pursuing resolution through the owner.
