FIRST TIMER: An amazing first experience! Staff is so welcoming and helped me learn how things flow there. If you're uncertain what services to book though, don't book online. Call them and ask instead. I'm new at this and booked a skin treatment instead of a massage. Ha! It was still wonderful! Oh, and they are a true spa experience so they have a shower for afterward....bring a brush & any other items you might need (something I hadn't thought of). I definitely want to go back! A huge thanks to Spavia for donating to CAASA, as it's such a needed service and their donation was what brought me from NW Iowa here to try them. Spavia will now be on my Christmas list! 🎄 The area is such a neat development of store fronts too, so if you're headed there from some distance away then you might want to plan for more time to shop before or afterward.

This was the best massage I have ever had. Ian listened to me when I told him I was having a lot of lower back, shoulder and neck tightness. He worked hard on some major knots I had in my shoulders. He was delightful to have conversation with. The setting, cleanliness of the spa and staff were above excellent! I am extremely happy with the treatment and will definitely be returning.

I had a massage with Gordon on Wednesday and it was amazing!!!! I've never felt more relaxed in my life. The spa was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning and might just have to get a membership. Everyone should go here to get a real spa feel....no more of that changing in the room business. Loved the spa robe and sandals it was a perfect start to my day. 😁

This place is the absolute best for facials. I’m a nurse and times have been stressful. I feel my face shows it. I’m not one to look perfect and don’t have a “skin routine”. But it’s the most relaxing facial ever. It literally takes the stress look out. The experience makes me forget about reality and helps me to feel at ease. Maddie is amazing! So AMAZING. I'm a member here and the quality is always above and beyond. And for only $59 monthly! I just set it up on my HSA account and go in for my massage. Plus the women's area is so lovely with a shower and lockers. Everyone is so friendly and inviting.

I purchased the signature massage and signature facial a little over a week ago. I have never had a facial and only massages through my chiropractor so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was greeted immediately by the very pleasant girls up front and taken back for a quick little tour and left in the locker room to change into a robe. They have a very nice, clean, and secure locker room and connected to that room is a relaxing waiting room with tea, water, and warm neck wraps. I started off with the facial with Maddie, she was wonderful. Everything was comfortable and relaxing, she seemed very knowledgeable in her profession and was even able to point me towards some good new face products. I struggle with acne and she did some extraction for me with no pain. I woke up today with clearer, smoother skin! I then had a massage with Lacey, it was also obvious with her she knew what she was doing. I had tight spots or "knots" in places I didn't even know I could. She worked out every one she found and today I felt recharged and motivated to be more active. Every person I met there was so kind and it was obvious they value their guests and their business. I will be back!

I was in a server motorcycle accident recently and in a great deal of pain. I was looking for a therapist who could help relieve the pain without aggravating the injuries. I was referred to Spavia by a friend and scheduled an appointment with Nikki. After explaining the situation to her she went right to work, explaining what she was doing, why I was having certain pains, and being very careful not to worsen the damage. By the time I left my mobility had improved 100% and most of the aches and pains were GONE! My wife scheduled a massage with Ian later that day and informed me that he has a magic touch! She said he was the absolute best therapist she has ever had. Spavia is a first class spa and we both highly recommend them to anyone looking for the BEST MASSAGE THEY WILL EVER HAVE! Thank you, Nikki and Ian! We will be regular weekly clients from this day forward!

My massage was awesome. I loved that I was able to pick out my own music and lotion scent- as well as the retreat area and robes were luxurious. My only criticism would be the entrance to the shop- it is way too cluttered and busy, stresses me out as soon as I walk in and doesn’t look like a spa at all.

Had the BEST massage with Mandy today; I really recommend this place. The ambiance is amazing - from a retreat room to robes and sandals. They offer memberships but there was no hardcore selling of that product or any of the products they have available. I chose my music, lotion, amount of conversation and depth of massage. I feel totally relaxed and will be getting another massage next month!

I have been a member here since 2018 and highly recommend them & their memberships. The owner is very sweet and runs this place extremely well because in 2+ years I honestly haven't had an issue. Gordon, Ian and Eddy are my favorites and if you're a member you can pick 1 person to always share your membership with and my teen daughter has always loved Sonya & Lacey. Another great thing about the membership is you're only really locked in for 3 consecutive months, after that it's just a month to month with a 30 day notice. The environment and feel there is great, after you change into your robe and slippers in the locker/shower room, you head into the waiting area with faux fireplace and waterfall to relax and wait for your therapist while enjoying a warm neckwrap and water or tea and then your therapist will always give you a fresh drink after your service too. You will have 3 main choices each visit, desired conversation level with therapist, music choice and lotion choice.

We have the membership. We've tried several massage therapists here, and Emily is our favorite. The environment is relaxing, clean and professional. You have to book out quite in advance. Often a month plus.

I came in for a massage on my day off from work after receiving a couple in my email for $30 off a treatment if booked between the set dates. I booked with Nikki and Nikki did an absolutely amazing job! I will definitely be booking with her again soon:) My shoulder pain and back pain is gone now and my stress has been relieved. I got the guava lotion and it smells divine. The staff at Spavia are wonderful, attentive, and kind. I highly recommend Spavia to anyone looking to get a great massage or treatment of any kind and for an added bonus any of the products used that you like you can purchase before or after your treatment in the shop up front.

We found Spavia through Groupon and I am so happy we did! I had a great experience. My co worker and I came in after work on Friday and received a 50 min facial followed by a 60 min massage. I felt SO relaxed. We definitely plan on coming back in soon!

I think all the massage therapists are really good. I love their relaxing atmosphere. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is getting behind in your membership as it's very hard to cancel once you do

Their quiet waiting room has comfortable chairs and a neat faux fire feature. I particularly liked the warm neck wraps they made available there. The massage therapist was above average in skill, and I felt relaxed and calm after my experience there. Attached to the waiting room they also provide a shower, pin code lockers, robes and slippers, changing areas and a large mirror with sinks for getting ready to go back into the world after your treatment. This Spavia is a step above shops like Massage Envy and Massage Heights - just due to the attention to detail. They give you a range of scents and sounds to choose from during your treatment and while this isn't a huge facility, it is clear attention has been paid to theatrical element of pampering - which imbues the space with a magical vibe.

I booked the essential facial for myself and my friend and, if I could give 6 out of 5 stars, I would! We had a fantastic experience. Maddie gave the best facial and I'd go back in a heartbeat. I don't live in (or near) Ankeny, but if I did, I would absolutely take advantage of the membership. I hope to visit again someday!

What a beautiful place! It’s a high end spa experience at an affordable price. Wow it really was awesome. I had the premium facial and it was wonderful with the glycolic acid peel like products they use. I’ve never had a facial steam before but loved it and will be going back for more!!!! I found my new favorite spa! I had a Groupon and Gordan was my massage therapist. It was very relaxing and nice spa area. Also a nice personal touch, I mentioned this massage was a birthday gift and when I checked out, they gave me a card and a dark dove chocolate bar!

This spa is amazing. I had Christine for my masseuse and she was very qualified and professional. They have the latest technology for the most enjoyable and convenient experience. There is a womens' and a mens' waiting room where water, tea, books, and hot neck wraps are provided. The women's waiting room was connected to a dressing room with several private changing rooms, restroom, shower, and classy lockers for belongings. Robes and sandals are provided for the massage. The waiting room is a comfortable area to wait for the masseuse and relax after the treatment. Spavia is pricey but worth it.

Went here for a couple's massage for my birthday. They let you choose the scent of your lotion, relax in a special room with complimentary tea before and after your massage, and the massage therapists are very good. They even gave me a special birthday gift: Dove Dark Chocolate!

I have naturally blonde hair so naturally my eyelashes are just as light and blonde. I have nice long lashes but since the color is so light you can NEVER see them unless I coat them with layers of mascara! I made the conscious decision to finally step up and get eyelash extensions. It has now been about two months and I couldn’t be happier! Maddie did an excellent job with my first time extensions. She made sure to keep me comfortable, she was precise and fast too! The lashes are exactly what I was looking for! I have been coming back to her for fills and she always amazes me. The ONLY complaint is they don’t last a full 3 weeks, but that could be a factor of my eyelash growth cycle, my own fault, or just how it goes. I would still recommend Maddie over anyone! I don’t even live in ankeny and I make the drive every time to get filled by her!!!. Just look at the difference!
