When I was looking to purchase a hot tub I did a lot of shopping around, the most important thing to me was not how much money I was spinning but The quality of product that I was getting and the quality of service that I was receiving. When I walked into Hot Springs spa in Waukee Iowa I was greeted by Les who is very knowledgeable on the products. Walked me through everything, it made me feel very comfortable in the product that I was buying. With the shortage of everything in the United States I was told that the hot tub would be about eight months out I was very surprised when he was ready in about four. The service team came out to install my hot tub right when they told me they would be there. These guys were very knowledgeable polite and friendly. Due to electrical problems they weren’t able to set up my hot tub completely. But I was able to go in the next day after after my electric was fixed and got a full orientation from Randy. I am very grateful and pleased with the service I have gotten so far. I would highly recommend if you were in the market for a hot tub going here! I’ve never had them not return a phone call. And everybody that works there is very knowledgeable and willing to help. Thank you Randy and less for a great experience.

My husband and I met with Travis at Hot Springs Spa. We don’t currently have a hot tub, so we are new to the game. Travis was so knowledgeable and helpful. He wasn’t pushy at all. This is the second tub we've gotten from Hot Spring Spas. We are repeat customers because they have quality products and did a great job at delivery time on the first one (this new one for our extended family getaway cabin hasn't been delivered yet). The Rhythm they delivered 6 years ago, which is still being used about every night, was priced competitively and was delivered and placed perfectly even though it was a long haul and challenging place to put it. On this new Rhythm we just bought, Dustin was great to work with. He was quick to get answers to questions we had and treated us well on pricing without having to go back and forth a lot. When the time comes to get another hot tub, we plan on going right back to Hot Spring Spas in Des Moines.

Les Davis and Hot Spring Spa won our business hands down and we looked at a lot of hot tubs at a lot of places. Nobody else in greater Des Moines knows hot tubs like Les does and he made the whole buying process (which can be stressful) enjoyable. We found with his help the perfect model and features for us and we LOVE the salt water system too and you can really feel the difference when you're in it. Also, Les is beyond helpful with after-purchase questions and has been a huge help and resource to us since we first walked into his store. Oh, and he set us up with a crack electrical team to do all the up-front electrical work at our house before the hot tub arrived. Hot Spring Spas of Des Moines is where to go! We give them 5 stars. As newbies to owning our own hot tub, we researched and reached out to friends for recommendations and concluded on Hot Spring Spas of Des Moines in Clive, Iowa. We have no regrets with our decision and have never looked back. We have now dealt with four of their employees directly, as well as their installation team. They all receive high marks. Specifically, I’d like to give a shout out to two people, Dustin Hutcheson, our original sales person who took the time and had patience with all of our questions and concerns (and we had many, never having owned a hot tub). There was never any pressure from him to buy. He even took texts and cell phone calls on the day of installation. The second, Les Davis, who assisted me today with our purchase of supplies and provided detailed, hand written instructions for us to follow when we attempt our first draining of the hot tub, refilling, and chemical/salt balance. He made sure that I had all of the products needed for the task (which I did not on my original list). If you are looking for customer service, this is the company for you. The entire team is very knowledgeable, polite, approachable, and most of all patient.

Wonderful phone service by Les as we purchased our new spa and 5 stars service at the Clive, IA store! Les took the time at the store to go over all the spa chemicals with me, to ensure that I knew how to properly keep my spa clean and well maintained. Staff out back were very helpful and did a great job loading our spa onto our trailer. I very much appreciated Les and his manager for working with me and working out pick up on a Monday when they were very busy with trucks coming in and out to drop off and pick up spas as they prepared to set up at the fair. When COVID hit, our Caribbean Vacation Cruise was canceled. Our family was bummed out, so we decided to invest our money into something that would last longer than a weeklong cruise. Bill Brown at Hot Spring Spas of Des Moines helped us make a wonderful investment. He guided us in converting our own backyard into a COVID-staycation that will keep us entertained way longer than a cruise! Bill did a great job directing our selection of a hot tub that would accommodate our family and friends perfectly. He also helped us find colors that would blend beautifully with our home. Additionally, the setup team was very personable, patient, and answered all of our maintenance questions with easy-to-follow steps. We find ourselves using our hot tub at least four days a week. It's a great refuge from work, screens, & media and is the perfect place for quality conversations, much needed relaxation, and muscle recovery. In 1994 searching out the "Top of Line" HotTubs available, my wife and I decided there was not comparison to the Hot springs Spa Brand and working with (Back then) Chuck, purchased the Hi-Life model. We had it rebuilt once early on in 2000, and other than a new cover, was working in top shape as we speak. Visited with Les Davis about a new cover and he asked, should he have it shipped to the house. I said first, lets see whats available today from Hot springs. I've known Les over the years and discussions were always polite, professional, and never "Hard Sell". Les showed Janice and I the available tubs and after a short discussion made a decision to forgo the top and redo everything. As so many have stated, Les is totally professional, personable, and his integrity is above question. A true gentlemen. Purchased on Monday last and installed on yesterday (Thursday) by the Exceptional Service Dept. removing our old tub, all within 2 hours. Never a question with anyone in the organization I have know for 24 years. When looking for new products, I am always reminded of researching parent operations. Those of you who, in my time, back in the mid 1900's that remember the "Watkins Man" and knowing that Hot Springs Spa's is part of that Watkins organization today, eliminates most, if not all, questions about QUALITY , and assures one that there is no other choice. My family went to Hot Spring Spas and were immediately greeted by Les and got down to business. He was unbelievably informed and after listening to our wants and needs in a new hot tub we started looking at our options. We brought our two kids along and he immediately grabbed his fantastic daughter Emma to watch our kids for us in the store while we went with Les to look at the hot tubs. After thoroughly explaining all our options we were able to settle on the Grandee spa with the salt water option and couldn’t be more excited. We did mention that before buying we had to go home and measure to make sure it would fit, well this Is where Les went above and beyond. He actually stopped over with his daughter on their way home from work and measured our area and laid out a makeshift “frame” so we could actually visualize how it would look. Absolutely amazing customer service! When it was time to go we had to pry the kids away from Emma since they were having so much fun with her! Les and Emma were incredible and made our purchasing experience a no pressure fun and informative experience. My husband and I did a lot of research on different hot tub places and brands before deciding to go with Hot Springs. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted by Les. He asked us what kind of hot tub we were looking for and what are minimum requirements were. Then he showed us a range of hot tubs and told us all about them. We weren’t originally planning on buying that same night but he sold us within the first few minutes. I wanted a hot tub because I had severe sciatica for the last 8 years. After doctors, specialists, PT, treatments, etc I had just accepted that it would never go away. After receiving our hot tub in July it only took about a week and my sciatica was gone!! Going on 4 months without a single flare up! Keep in mind I use mine every day. But it’s proof that there is still hope! Every time I’ve gone back to the store for supplies or even questions everyone I’ve talked to has been really nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Hot Springs! We ended up getting the limelight Flash model with the salt water upgrade which was definitely worth it!!

We love our traditional sauna. Have had it for 3 months and use it 4 to 6 times a week without any problems. It does take about 55 minutes to warm up to 185° but that was explained to us during the presentation of the model we were interested in. Speaking of that, our salesman Travis was very knowledgeable and patient and helped us pick the sauna that was right for us. He even followed up to make sure everything was going well. The installation guys were professional and courteous. Took time to explain everything and answered all questions we had. Were also respectful to our property. We did notice a small gap in one of the corners later on. After informing Hot Spring of this, they were quick to send out Will K and he had it fixed within minutes. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase and definitely recommend Hot Spring. Update: 5/24/2022. Everything still working great. Wanted to let people know that I added more lava rocks and now it does take longer to warm up. When assembling the installers put in 2-3 layers of rocks. I recently added another 2-3 layers because I thought the level should be more/higher. Now in 55 minutes it reaches a temperature around 160°. I still would (and do) recommend Hot Spring.

Travis at Hot Springs Spa in Urbandale was always very friendly and helpful. I knew exactly what I was buying with the swim spa. The installers were also very friendly and helpful. The spa was in place quicky. Later that day Travis explained how to work the instruments and apply the chemicals. I have enjoyed the spa even on cooler days! It was well worth the expense for both recreation and theraputic value.

Our hot tub knowledge was nonexistent, and Randy took the time to show us the difference in make, models, size, systems, etc. We wanted some time to make our decision and Randy kept in touch to answer any questions we had. We decided on a tub, Randy got us in touch with an electrician and he was always upfront about the delay in delivery from the beginning, so we knew it was going to be a few months before getting our tub. Once it arrived, the delivery staff and electrician worked seamlessly together and provided a thorough explanation of hot tub care. My wife and I recently purchased a Gleam from Hot Springs. When walked in we didn't know what we wanted exactly, but we had a pretty good idea of what we thought we wanted in a hot tub. Travis worked with us to help turn those thoughts into an actual model. It wasn't quick, but Travis understood that in order to get it right, it was going to be a process, and he was happy to work with us through it. We had considered all the other brands and retailers around, not all but, some of the other retailers just don't have the knowledge base or service to support the sale. The Hot Springs product, combined with the dealer support we thought we were getting led us to purchase from Hot Springs of Des Moines. Unfortunately our tub suffered some scuffing during transport to our home, we were heartbroken that our new tub was damaged. A phone call that day to the service department, they assured me they could fix it. The next day they had a tech out there to to remedy it, and followed up with me to make sure that I was happy upon completion. I recently stopped back into the store, Travis and the rest of the staff all wanted to make sure that we were still happy with our purchase and if there was anything else they could do to help.

The location of the hot tub was going to be a slight issue for the install however Chad Kinter, who set up the delivery date, was able to determine that their men could get the tub to it's location without additional equipment. We bought our Pulse from Les Davis at the Home Show February 2013 after meeting with him several times at the show room. Les was great to work with, and we never felt pressured to buy. While reps for other brands we looked at insisted nothing ever went wrong with their spas, Les gained a lot of credibility when he told us any time you have water and electricity combined in the elements there is a possibility something can go wrong. He told us Hot Springs builds a high quality product, but if we ever did have any issues their service team would not rest until the issue was resolved. Greg and his crew delivered our Pulse in April 2013 and shortly after we did have an issue with the tub randomly shutting down. Oddly enough this is where the Hot Springs crew really shined. We had two service calls on the issue and in both cases a technician was out the next day. On the second call the tech apologized and told us they weren't going to stop until we were completely satisfied our issue was resolved and he replaced the entire motherboard. Our Pulse has worked perfectly ever since. After four years I can honestly say our Hot Springs Spa was one of the best purchases we've made for our family. We use it 2-3 times per week year round and the quality family time we've gained by getting 20-30 minutes with our 14 yr old son and 11 yr old daughter with no distractions has been priceless.

After we ordered/purchased Greg (who provided his number so we could reach out whenever needed) was also wonderful to answer questions we thought of after we had left. I was able to pick the size, style and then literally get my feet wet, which helped me decide between a saltwater tub versus a regular one. The tub I purchased is of course beautiful, but the salt water option is INCREDIBLE!!!!! With the past incredibly cold weather in January 2018 our hot tub froze a pipe and was not able to be fixed. I called Hotsprings in DSM and received a very quick response from Greg Jensen. Not only was he informative about options of tubs similar to ours, when I explained we had a replacement rider on our insurance, after an inspection he wrote a very professional letter explaining the condition of our tub, which I then forwarded to our Insurance. It is a pleasure to write this review about our new Hot Spot Relay hot tub. My wife and I visited the State Fair last summer to begin the process of purchasing a new spa. A friend of ours recommended Hot Spings Spas in Des Moines because of the service they provide. When we negotiated the price of the spa, we traded in our old spa and received a six month 0% financing agreement. We received our new spa at the end of April, 2012. The three man crew removed our old spa and set up the new one. They were courteous, helpful in giving directions about the spa, and left all of the chemicals for the spa. My wife and I enjoy the silk solution. Within 24 hours we tested the jets, lights and the waterfall. All of them worked exceptionally. I have called Travis a few times to ask questions about the spa. He has always been very helpful. It has been a pleasure to have a new Hot Spot spa and I know that our grandchildren like it a lot for years to come.

We don't get to use it as much as we would like but love that the ACE system is so self maintaining. Check it weekly and make minor adjustments based on use.
