My experience at The Spa at Palmer House was superb. I felt like a queen. It exceeded my expectations. I love the Hydrotherapy bath. It was the perfect kick-off to the rest of my day. I purchased the Empire package and every single moment was amazing. The environment was beautiful and clean. I felt cared for, listened to, and welcomed. I loved getting a fresh glass of cold water handed to me after each session and the complimentary glass of wine during my mani-pedi session. I can't wait to come back. I drove from MI just to experience this Spa and it was everything I imagined plus more.

From beginning to end, it was a top notch experience. I booked the The Grand package plus a 50min wellness massage and the day kept getting more and more relaxing as it went. Both Dominica and Janet were incredible and I seriously cannot wait to repeat this combo with them. Highly recommend this spa and highly recommend the grand package for people who enjoy hydrotherapy.

I used to frequent this spa years ago and loved the service. I stopped going while they changed ownership and did some renovations. Recently, I have started going back for massages since my friend referred me to Sarina. Sarina is AMAZING! I have been to pretty much all the spas in the city and I now have my go-to! Sarina can tailor the massage to whatever your body needs, from adjusting pressure to focusing on certain areas and applying various techniques to help you feel great afterwards. Highly recommend that you go see Sarina!

This was the best overall spa experience I've ever had. The massage therapists were pleasant and good at what they do. The facilities were clean and calming. Booking was easy too. My girlfriend and I were very satisfied and relaxed for days afterward. Room for improvement is that their robes are not made for people over 6' tall. :-)

I was visiting Chicago for a wedding and stayed at the Palmer House Hotel. I had most of the day before the wedding free so decided pretty last minute to book 2 services with the Spa there - a mini facial and a mini massage - and it was beyond excellent. First of all, not many spas offer a mini version of their full services, so it was nice and quick, but super relaxing at the same time. I booked them back to back with a half hour in between, and they made me comfortable on a couch with hot tea while I waited for my next service. Both staff members that I had were very friendly and professional. It was an awesome experience and I wish I lived closer so I could go more often!

Love it here!!! The spa itself is gorgeous, soothing, and luxurious. You can feel your stress melt away as soon as you walk into the spa. I have had my hair cut here, colored here, and had my nails done several times. All services have been wonderful, professionally handled, and exactly what I was looking for. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and calming, which just makes it an amazing experience from start to finish!

I have used this spa on many visits while staying at the Palmer House and a few times when I happened to be in Chicago. The spa is always clean and well taken care of. The spa professionals have always given me a wonderful service. The facials are truly relaxing as I usually fall asleep. The pedicure is complete with everything you would want, the nails, the feet and legs are all pampered. The massages have truly worked out issues that I need to have fixed. I would highly recommend this spa.

The spa is so nice at the Palmer House and the rooms are relaxing. I love the location too and are able to relax at the hotel with all the amenities. My lady who did my facial did a great job and my nose had no blackheads! The neutral colors of the spa make you so cozy too!

I went for a facial with a friend. I loved the historic atmosphere and the facial was excellent. Some aspects of the spa -- particularly the hallways/public areas need updating and the walk to the pool was a bit long. The pool itself gorgeous! Everyone at the spa was lovely and made us feel welcome and pampered. I recommend it!

Had a very good experience at the PH Spa. Staff was wonderful arranging and communicating everything for our party in advance of our arrival. Well organized and professional. We did combinations of facials, body scrubs, and pedicures. Services were top notch and we left feeling relaxed and pampered! Would definitely go back!

I've added a few great spas to my roster since the pandemic begin but there's nothing like being at your "home spa" the spa that feels "just right" each and every time. They were very welcoming and explained all the products that they would be using on my face. I’ve been to the Spa at Palmer House a few times for massages and facials. I always look forward to my visit! The Spa is beautiful inside and all of the staff has been very welcoming. Each service I’ve had has been wonderful. I like that after my service I have access to the women’s locker room to shower and redress. Overall a fantastic spa that I highly recommend!

I cannot stress enough how wonderful my time was here! I got the hydro facial for 80 minutes and it was well worth the money. This was my first real facial anr Erin advised everything she was doing and what the products did. Erin made me feel like royalty, knowing I was getting married they offered water, and wine and told me I can take my time to leave since it was a little slower. She went above and beyound. My face feels and looks amazing. The rooms were nice as well as the staff at the front desk. Highly recommend coming here

The Palmer House is my favorite Chicago hotel - and The Spa at Palmer House is one of the reasons it is my favorite. Their menu of massage options is top-notch and they also offer a range of other services including facials and other salon services such as hair and nails. I often visit the spa during business trips when I need relaxation or a quick nail fix. They do their best to accommodate my travel schedule and are always very friendly and offer top-notch service!

I got a massage here as a birthday present to myself. I live locally and was struggling to find something that would feel like a "treat myself" sort of experience, and the Spa at Palmer House was truly a "treat myself" visit! Definitely recommend if you live in Chicago or are just visiting. The ambience is terrific and the architecture of the building is really magical. It doesn't feel like a typical spa visit, it felt really elevated. Treat yourself!

Palmer House is always lovey to visit and the spa is as well! The technician rooms have a nice ambiance and you do fee comfortable while having services. Also a good value especially if you catch a Groupon! What would make this a must go property is having a more private area to lounge before and during services. Their isn’t enough privacy to keep relaxed. So if you are not doing back to back services this isn’t an issue.

The spa is beautiful and spacious. The cleaning in between services was frequent and thorough (my wife and I each experienced ‘The Palmer’) so we spent the entire day at the spa and observed the constant cleaning throughout the day. The hydrotherapy was amazing, the massages were fantastic! And the body wrap treatments were enjoyable enough. However, our nails were a disaster! I’m a simple lesbian so I just asked for a regular mani/pedi which was terrible and my wife asked for a dip manicure which had zero shine and the manicurist cut my wife's skin all ahead of our honeymoon in Maui. Needless to say we dealt with an infected finger the entire trip and no decent manicures to show for it. For the price and the reputation of the hotel and spa I would expect a much better quality manicure from their nail technicians.

Gorgeous marble, wood and serene lighting welcomed me away from the bustle. A staffer greeted me and offered their coffee and tea bar while I checked in. Piped in music mixed with luxurious quiet was a delightful escape. There are many amazing spa experiences to choose from. You can get lost in an aromatic massage (they are incredibly skilled), facials with options for sensitive skin and finish with manicure and pedicure. I loved it all. I truly enjoyed the pedicure which was saved for last. I was traveling, attending morning boot camps and working all hours; I was drained. By the time I was to sit for my pedicure - I was hangry! I stepped up and into the lush private booth with basin and perused The Spa menu of nosh and bevs. I chose two small plates, a tea AND Prosecco. Luxurious, best in business, best quality procured products, precision work by experienced technicians, massage therapists and estheticians. Delicious foods and drinks too? Sold! Last week we treated ourselves to a 50 minute massage at The Spa at Palmer House while sightseeing in Chicago. We had been on our feet all day so thoroughly enjoyed the immediate calm we felt upon reaching the spa in the beautiful Palmer House Hotel. We loved that there was the option of a robe and shower or just changing in the massage room for those who are in a rush. My massage with Paul was fantastic! He focused on the area I asked him to and clearly knew a lot about the body and how to treat it. I was super relaxed by the end. The shower room was incredibly well stocked and I loved the eucalyptus shower spray, such a great touch when you're already feeling relaxed. This is a perfect spot for a quick lunch time rejuvenation or a longer break from it all on a visit to the city. I would highly recommend!
