We have had an amazing experience with Allen Pools and Spas. We loved their no-pressure sales approach and really appreciated their detailed and helpful answers to our extensive questions. As a result, we ended up with a hot tub that we absolutely love! Now that we are hot tub owners, they are just as helpful. You can bring your water in to get tested any time and they will tell you what adjustments you need to make to get it well balanced. We will be lifelong customers!

We are absolutely thrilled with our hot tub from Allen Pools and Spas! Our technician Daniel was very friendly, professional and highly knowledgeable. He spent time with us explaining everything we needed to know about our beautiful high quality spa. Maintainence has been an absolute breeze. We use our spa multiple times a day and it has been crystal clear from day one. It's such a treat every time and definitely helps with body aches and sleeping better too!.Highly recommended!!!

Cannot recommend Allen Pools enough! I wrote in with a specific request of a tub, expecting quite a long wait. Instead Adam wrote back that they had the tub in-stock, coordinating was seamless and delivery happened three weeks later (during a snowstorm!). We are so in love with our tub, the service exceeded our expectations by far and the continued support just a phone call away is so reassuring. Will recommend for years to come!

Can’t say enough about this place - firstly, they’re open Sundays which was incredibly helpful during our hot tub hunt. And every time we’ve been in for help with water samples and supplies - friendly, knowledgeable, super helpful. But really, the reason for this 5 star review - we went in to purchase a new hot tub, the sales rep spent quite a bit of time with us, helped us select the right one for our needs - we selected something simple and were happy to wait the long production time for it. As we’re working with our person, a lovely couple next to us was sharing that they were in a bind and unable to upgrade until they off loaded their current tub. Long story short - the Allen Pools rep forfeited his sale and actively helped us decide to purchase the other couple’s used tub. It was a better model and would save us the long wait time. Just shocked that he’d be so incredibly honest considering it meant he lost the sale. You just don’t see that kind of integrity anymore - thank you!!!

We bought a hottub from Allen Pools and Spas a few months ago and the service was exceptional! We were greeted right away by Mary who was our salesperson. Mary answered all of our questions and was not pushy in anyway. After going to a couple of other businesses we did choose Allen Pools. They had the largest selection, best prices and they were not pushy at all. Mary was wonderful throughout the whole process. She called our emailed with updates and checked to see if we had any issues with getting the site prepped or the electrical installed. The delivery team were great. They arrived on time and were very polite. The team leader was very through and explained in detail what needed to be done with the tub on a weekly, monthly and biannual basis to ensure we get the most enjoyment from our tub. I would recommend Allen Pools and Spa to anyone in the Rutland vermont area. The hottub is wonderful we use it 3-4 times per week.

Our family has been thinking of a hot tub for a few years. Always something we looked at the home shows. With the WFH situation and limited vacation options, 2020 was the time for us. I looked at a few other locations, and then we stopped at Allen Pools & Spas. They answered all our questions, with no pressure to buy. Dave helped us pick out a tub that matched our family needs and didn’t try to upsell us to a model we might have thought we wanted. Honest and sincere help to get us something we would enjoy for many years to come. As we prepped the location, I asked lots of questions and Dave was always prompt in replying and wanted to make sure we had and did everything we needed. With COVID we had to wait a while for delivery from California, no promises were made on the delivery time frame, but a time window was suggested, and delivery was on time. The crew was great and very professional. I can’t remember the lead guy's name, but he is one smart dude and took the time to go over everything very well. As I read the manual after, I realized just how much knowledge he had, and it helped to have that conversation previously as I reviewed the manual. We choose a Hot Springs Rely for our family of 4 and we couldn’t be happier! Thanks, Dave and AP&S!

He notified us the day a 2017 Grandee became available, helped us with the purchase, setting up the delivery, and talking us through all the ins and outs of owning a hot tub. After having a shockingly poor experience with a dealer very close by I ended up coming here to Allen Pools & Spas. The two gentlemen that greeted me at the door were very friendly and helpful. After sharing my story with them I was able to gain allot of knowledge about the hot tub business. While they did not have the hot tub I wanted in stock and was a long time out I decided to shop on line for a used tub. I found a one year old Hot Spring tub that I really liked. Drove to NY and brought it home with us. Considering this is the product Allen Pools carries I went right to the store. I can't support them by buying a tub from them at this time but I sure can buy all my tub needs from them. And I did. True professionals who treated me with the same respect and attitude rather I was buying $500.00 worth of equipment and supplies or an $18000.00 dollar tub. It's a tricky time to buy a hot tub right now due to pandemic related delays, but Allen was clear about the time line from the start, and the exceptional service made the delay worth it. We had a technician come the very next day who was able to assess the issue and resolve it at that very visit. We were pleased with the quick response to our needs and the ability of the technician to have our hot tub back in good working order. Since purchasing our hot tub from Allen Pools and Spas in 2006, we have had many good years enjoying it. I'm very happy with the sauna I purchased. I'm also very happy with the excellent help i received from Kevin Stockwell, the sales person who I had a million questions for via email over several months before making a decision to buy. He was clear, friendly, patient, and gave me the info I needed to feel very comfortable making the right purchase. Also, the delivery and assembly was done well and efficiently. A couple of things that could've been better: I didn't receive a receipt emailed or mailed after my by=phone purchase. That was unsettling. I also didn't hear anything about delivery status and after several weeks had to email to find out what the status was. Finally, the glass on the sauna was left full of finger prints. It was a messy winter day, so I get that some mess was unavoidable. But the sauna glass should look nice, I think, given the ease of cleaning it and the cost of the sauna. All that said, I'm very happy overall and would buy again from them for sure.

I recently purchased a Hot Tub from Allen Pools & Spas and I am very happy with it. I was gone on vacation and as a new owner I was a little unsure how to treat the tub while I was gone. When I got back from vacation the clarity was a little off and I could not get it back to the proper color etc. I called in and spoke to Sierra in the service department. She was super friendly and talked me through the chemicals that I needed to add and spent 2 days working with me. The tub is now back to running in perfect condition. This was a little stressful for me being a new owner and she made is so simple. I was also able to meet her in person when I brought a water sample to the Williston store. When my wife and I started shopping for hot tubs, we didn't know what features or specifications would suit us best, so we were a bit overwhelmed. At first, we decided to compare prices and features on the website of a wholesale box store. We trusted the company and relied on our previous in-store product and service experiences. We selected a seven-person tub based on its perceived value, size, and the $2,000 discount. Upon our purchase, we were informed that the spa would arrive via curbside delivery in three to four weeks. We were excited. I called after the first week to learn more about the delivery process because there wasn't much of anything available to inform us about what we should expect. The store redirected me to the shipping company, who said I needed to call the store to retrieve my shipping number. I waited another week and called the store to get my shipping number who said they'd didn't have the shipping number, so I'd have to call the manufacturer. I waited another couple of weeks and didn't hear anything, so I started researching hot tub purchase experiences from big box stores. I read many reviews, good and bad, and ultimately I was swayed by my findings, to venture out to the local hot tub dealers in Chittenden County. That's when we found Allen Pools & Spa. We walked into their showroom in Williston, Vermont, and Mary Pernicka welcomed us warmly. She listened to me describe what we were looking for and patiently showed us the features and benefits of their available tubs. Our kids were with us, and she encouraged all of us to remove our shoes and sit in various spas. There were some we liked and others we didn't. However, Mary continued to work with us to find the perfect tub. We weren't prepared for a water-test that day, and our schedule didn't allow us to return until just before the store closed. She willingly offered to stay past closing to allow us to come back for a private water-test, to which we gladly accepted. We tested the Pulse by Hot Springs, and it was amazing; we loved it. Working with Mary on the purchase details was effortless; she was delightful and made the process easy. Ten days later, we had our tub installed. And from there on out, Mary has been available to help answer my questions to ensure we have the right products and chemicals to make hot tub ownership a breeze. We never took possession of the box store tub, and it took another three weeks and numerous phone calls to get our $7,500 back from them. Hopefully, this review will help make your hot tub purchase experience a bit easier. Skip the box store, and head over to see Mary Pernicka at Allen Pools and Spa. You won't regret it. Every night, we enjoy family time with our kids, hearing about their day at school and learning about what's going on with their freinds, all because we have a hot tub. The company has been in business for 60 years, and it shows. They value their customers and treat them as friends, rather than another sale in an Excel grid. We’ve been going to Allen Pools for years. Though it’s a fifty minute drive on a good day, it’s worth it. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The wonderful lady who deals with me most of the time is so patient, and I really appreciate how she won’t hesitate to ask one of her associates for help if she isn’t sure of something. That means a lot, as pool chemicals can be costly if you don’t get the right ones. My family is super happy with this store, and will continue to shop here for our pool needs and advice!

My husband and I originally purchased our hot tub from this location and we were in purchasing supplies for it when Michael saw us looking at saunas and kiddingly said would you like to add a sauna to your purchase today. Thing is, we had been in a couple months ago inquiring about saunas and had never heard back from the salesman on duty that day. So we told Michael this and he had answers to all our questions back to us by the next day. Now we are getting our house ready for delivery! Michael is a very courteous and efficient salesman.

From the purchase of the hot tub to installation was excellent. Kevin showed up 11/8/18 to install and realized the electrical hook up wasn't long enough. Called service and they couldn't get him back due to scheduling until Monday 11/12. So I called the electricians and they came back same day, solved the issue and I let Allen know it was all set. Next day Friday I get a call from a guy Ed, asking if electric was all set, and I said yes. He said I'll be over in 15 min., needless to say I was delighted. So I hung with Ed and he said I'll get you going and show how to use, etc. As we filled tub, I asked this 71 year old guy why he was here, and modestly said I'm the owner. We talked skiing etc. So my point is this company went beyond to make me a happy camper, used the tub for 3 days and Kevin came to do final install. Highly recommend.

Allen provided us excellent customer service during the installation and initial debugging of our infrared sauna. Allen had to come back to our house two additional times to troubleshoot a manufacturer's part defect and then a second time to install a new control panel. Allen was timely, effective, and supportive of the process. We enjoy the sauna every day and recommend the product and Allen as a reputable dealer that "won't leave you cold".

My wife and I bought our Hotsprings Grandee in Sept 2008 from Allen Pools & Spas (Williston) after extensive research and trying out a number of different models. We're coming up on 9 years of ownership and couldn't be happier with our choice! Our interactions with the team at the Williston location has been nothing less than stellar and especially Kevin and Kim who were the two people who helped us initially with our decision. We've only had one issue with the Hotspring (at about year 5) and Kevin took care of everything for us. We've been using Silk Balance for a number of years and it's the easiest and best solution on the market if you can't upgrade to the salt based solutions. I use the hot tub almost daily and my kids use it every time they come home. We highly recommend Hotsprings but without exception recommend Allen Pools & Spas, especially the Williston team.

I received my Finnleo Model S870 Infrared Sauna on the 15th of February. Kevin was a big help in making my final decision. After the sauna was installed, the 2 skirts under the benches were not getting hot. I called the store and Kevin told me the guys that installed it would come and take a look. They didn't find anything out of the ordinary, so they let Kevin know that. A few days later, Matthew, the service guy came out, found out that the skirts weren't getting power. He called the company and after a false start, the new part arrived. After the new part didn't work, Matthew called the sauna company and between Larry and Matthew, they figured it out and got it working. I was extremely impressed with Matthew in particular for not giving up and finding the solution. I knew this would be taken care of and it was. My sauna is now working 100% and it's fabulous. I would highly recommend Allen Pools and Spas for any sauna purchase. Looking forward to many relaxing years in my Finnleo Sauna.

Fantastic Customer Service! I have a roughly 20 year old Big Green Egg (purchased at a former BGE dealer) that had some crackling and chipping damage on the lid and the 2 porcelain inner liners were cracked pretty badly. I went in to enquire about repairing the top and replacing the inner parts vs buying a new Egg. Rather than jump on an easy sale Kevin had me take photos of the damaged parts and he emailed them to the BGE company. BGE is replacing all 3 components as a warrantee! How cool is that??!!
