Reviews of Olympic Spa
Phosphene Dreams
This place is amazing. First time and will absolutely be back. The amenities are great and the service providers are great. The only thing I would prefer is to enforce a stricter no phone policy or have a specific designated area for phone use.

First and BEST spa experience ever. I felt like I was in paradise. Great place to go to relieve alot of stress and anxiety and forget all you worries. I got the milk and honey wet scrub massage. I was glowing for a week! Im definitely coming back here

This is some kind of heaven, truly.
I have been going here for almost a decade, so I’ve seen many changes over the years. Since the pandemic, the spa is only open to people who book treatments or have a membership. I was a bit sad to hear about this at first since it used to be a lot more affordable to just access the spa, but decided to visit with my mom anyway.
I booked a shiatsu massage treatment with Hannah, as did my mom. It was so wonderful, I cannot begin to express how rejuvenating the whole experience was. Not just the massage, which was also amazing, but the facilities too. Before, the spa was packed with people, and unfortunately not very peaceful. Now, it is incredibly tranquil, and the remodeling they have done is really incredible.
They have a new ice sauna, veranda, complimentary snacks. It’s really such a treat.
I cannot wait to come back :)

VERY clean. Receptionists were quite helpful explaining how things work, etc. I had the Nirvana Hot Stone along w/ extra reflexology and it was pure bliss. The steam rooms were steamy and hot tub, hot.....the cold room could have been a bit colder -- 61* isn't exactly "cold". Only down side is how expensive it all is. Yes, you can " join/become a member," but regardless, I still don't have $300+ each time I want to pamper myself. This visit was from a friend knowing how badly I needed some pampering. I'll definitely come back when I have extra $$ to do so.

I love this place. Got the milk and honey spa with my bestie. 85 minutes of pure bliss. They clean you from the rootie to the tootie and a facial to boot. Love it.
Grace Chia
Amazing cosy place. It was USD48 for a to and fro uber ride from the airport but it was nice. The massage was so so but the scrub is really good. Probably will skip the massage the next time. Food was average. Would have preferred if there was an egg in my soup :)
Serena Beeks
Great scrub and massage! And the steam sauna was perfect -- full of steam and no hot drops from condensation.
Eden Jasper
Lovely, very clean environment. I had a wonderful 40 min scrub that left my skin feeling 10 years younger. I'm giving the place 4 stars instead of 5 because the "herbal sauna" was not herbal at all, the "oxygen therapy" was really just a sauna with red light, although still relaxing and peaceful. The scrub was a 5, though I thought overpriced for only 40 min ($120 including the 20% gratuity they add automatically).

I cannot express enough how fantastic my experience was at Olympic spa! The massages were fabulous, deep, and left me feeling like a new born baby. The atmosphere was so relaxing and the pools and saunas are great. Definitely plan to spend at least a few hours here

OMG this place is amazing! I was looking around places in my neighborhood for a fairly priced one hour massage. Most of the places I found, were either expensive or not nice looking on the inside. My friend referred to me Olympic spa in Walnut Creek, and boy did they do not disappoint. Olympic spa is renovated, extremely clean, and filled with great masseuses. My friend and I came in for a one hour full body/foot massage. Even though a little pricey, the experience was amazing. The masseuses were well knowledgeable and listens to our feedback, and the massage was amazing! Definitely worth the money for this experience. My masseuse, Yuki, was very amazing and massage with great pressure. We even opted for the hot stone treatment which was so luxurious! Olympic spot is my new favorite massage place, and I would definitely recommend to all my friends and family! Can't wait to be back.

To be clear, I would give five glowing stars to the main attractions of the spa, which are the baths and massage/scrub offerings. I just did the hour-long scrub and mini-massage, and it did wonders — I don’t think I’ve ever been so moisturized in my life. And the bathing facility is small but high-quality and super clean, including the showers. The cafe in the back also serves a delicious seaweed soup and other traditional Korean dishes — a perfect complement to the massage.
I am only giving three stars because this is NOT the place to get your nails done. Unfortunately I got one of the worst professional manicures in my experience here. The final outcome had several bubbles, more nail polish stains on my skin than usual and incomplete paint coverage on some nails. It was difficult to communicate these errors to the woman I was assigned to. I was disappointed and would not recommend getting a mani-pedi here as that is clearly not the spa’s speciality. But everything else is really well done!!

This was an incredible experience.
I cannot tell you the joy that I fell in really prioritizing what it meant to do self-care. A delightful experience on my LA trip for my birthday!!!

This place is heaven! I got a scrub and massage which were both amazing. The scrub left my skin feeling to silky smooth and glowing. The salt bath was so great too. We also spent time in the saunas, salt room, ice room and oxygen room. The entire experience left me feeling to zen and relaxed. I cannot wait to go back!

Spa no longer offers dining/meals and encourages you to order food through UberEATS. Also, they do not have a cover fee so you must buy a service in order to relax. Amenities were fine, but nothing special.
Valerie Alvarez
I love this place they were so welcoming so peaceful it felt like heaven I'm coming back in 6 months I just felt like I was brand new when I came out of there you guys got to try this place and the ladies they are so sweet and nice

I’ve been coming to Olympic for 12 years and have absolutely loved it. Last night was my first trip back to the spa since Covid. I still love it here, but I will be a customer far less frequently for the following reasons:
1. All of the technology they use to sign up is clunky. I registered for a mini akasuri scrub, got an email receipt saying that’s what I signed up for, but when at the spa they told me it was registered as a reflexology appointment. By the time we realized (at the start of my appointment), all of the scrubs were already booked. Not a big deal, but you have to jump through so many hoops just to sign up and get in the door that it would be great if it all worked.
2. Everything is now a subscription-based model. In general, I’m a fan of this club model. The problem? The cheapest membership is $400/mo with a minimum of 3 months. Unless you’re coming to the spa multiple times a week, the economics of this just doesn’t make sense. One of the perks is 20% off spa services (more on this below). I would love to become a member and support their services, but I only come about once a month. A $30-50/mo member tier paid monthly would make way more sense for the vast majority of their patrons.
3. They’ve massively increased their prices for services and still don’t include gratuity - 20% required tip is automatically added when you’re checking out. For context, I paid $324 for a 85 min massage and 25 min reflexology. One of the appeals of Olympic has always been their competitive pricing for services. Now that their pricing is on par with luxury spas, I’m not sure it’s as worth it. Also think it’s best practice to disclose when making an appointment that an additional 20% gratuity is automatically added to all services upon checking out.
4. The cafe is currently not in service. ☹️ I understand they’re waiting for critical mass, but the cafe is a huge selling point for the spa.
5. Love the texture of their new robes, but they’re not size inclusive. I’m a size 14 and the largest robe (which you have to specially request at the front desk) did not fully close.
In summary, the spa is still mostly the same with a few fun additions (patio, ice sauna). The membership model and pricing are a bit all over the place and don’t offer a great incentive to regularly frequent the spa (with a scrub, massage, tip, and food I used to walk out of there $200-240 max). As a long time patron, I would happily pay a monthly fee to help support them through the challenges of the pandemic for discounted rates on services, but the current prices are too prohibitive. I know they’re getting back in the swing of things and I hope they find a better biz model. I won’t be coming back for a while, but will update after my next visit.

Olympic Spa is the best place to spend a day in the world. I frequented for the hot and cold pools, steam rooms and then topped it off with the best Goddess package. It's really clean and comfortable. Its so relaxing and they work magic on your skin, muscles, hair and leave you feeling more relaxed than you ever thought possible. Now that I don't live in L.A. I plan my trips to America around the Olympic Spa hours. Please reopen soon. If I was being executed and had one last wish it would be to spend 6 hours at the Olympic Spa. Thank you for all the love you shared with me for over 25 years now. Stay safe. Hope all is well for everybody there. Warm regards, Dawn

I really enjoy this place. However, they now allow women to walk around with their cell phones out, even in the nude areas. It is uncomfortable to relax, if you are watching someone point a cell phone at you when you are nude. It is rude, uncomfortable and unnecessary to be on your phone when at the spa. There are other areas within the spa where this is acceptable. It should be restricted and ENFORCED. 🤷🏻♀️

Got a facial and it was good, but the extractions were painful. Spa facilities are great - sauna, steam room, salt room, etc. The Korean food on site is a bit pricy for what it is.
Mary
Ok so I haven't been here in a while and I love the spa itself, so if you're going for a simple soak it's great, but if you want a massage, OMG don't even try it! such a pain, you can't call anymore, you have to book online and the process is such a hassle it literally stressed me out so much I called HUGH spa and booked a longer massage for cheaper, believe it or not, and it took a total of a minute. So, I unfortunately can't go to Olympic spas for massages anymore, but I'm so happy I found a cheaper alternative. Thanks for saving me money lol.
Shayna Macklin
DO NOT GO FOR A MASSAGE. Really awful. BUT the body scrub was heaven. The facility was beautiful and I LOVED all of the rooms, but I really wish they offered day passes. Even if it was $100 for a pass I’d go. But I won’t be returning since you have to have a treatment to use the facility. I’d rather pay $100 for a day pass.

Pre-covid I went to Olympic spa almost once per month. It's a wonderful place, and it being women only really helped me relax and feel at ease at all times. My review is not based on the quality of the facilities and service I experienced, as it was lovely then. They are requiring customers to show proof of vaccination, and continue to do so despite mask mandate being lifted, most bars, venues, and spas lifting vax requirement as well. When I called to ask when they would lift this requirement, the receptionist told me "when covid is no longer a problem," lol. So I guess never? They did say a test would suffice, but when I asked if they meant an at-home negative test, they said no, it must be PCR. PCR tests are rarely covered by insurance, and they cost $150 out of pocket at my local urgent care. Essentially, Olympic is barring people who have chosen to or cannot receive a covid shot from enjoying their facilities. This is despite the fact that vaccinated people are contracting and spreading covid-19 at a similar rate to unvaccinated. I'm writing this review in the hopes that management will read it and rethink their policies.
Anyway, after reading reviews below, it looks like Olympic of the past has changed now, including its pricing system and they eliminated the mugwort bath and cafe, two of the most restorative features. Then again, times are tough. Can't blame them I guess. Sad :(

This is hands down my favorite no nonsense spa. The mugwort tub takes you to a new level of detox, the Himalayan salt room always makes my joints feel like they’re reborn, love the rinse/scrubbing exfoliating areas. Just really a dream, i’ve been to spas all over the world and this one is still my favorite for resetting myself without frills, too much fanfare, or bathing suits haha.

Absolutely amazing
Empowering leap of confidence if you can get out of your own way
The goddess massage is absolutely amazing !!

Best spa experience of my life!! You must treat yourself to the Goddess 🤩🤩 …
Cmblue Blue
I had the Goddess body scrub to thoroughly cleanse my body. At first the immersion into hot hot water is a shocker as well as the tingling hot water rinse during the scrub, but I definitely felt sanitized lol. Immediatly followed up with a deep tissue massage. Do not dye your hair before any spa treatment. For full enjoyment of all spa services, expect to get wet for therapy/cleanses from head to toe. They offer tantalizing scalp scrub massage shampoo & condition with self-service hair salon area. If you have 4-C hair like me, no need to worry, this spa is in LA and they know how to handle it. During the pre-rince, just put your hair into 4 braids. The Tech understood the assignment and politely unbraided each section to get in there with a deep scalp exfoliation. I was so impressed that she kept the twist-out in tact and finished up with a cute top-bun wrapped in a dry towel to reduce frizziness. Full service spa with oxygenation room, jaccuzzi, suana the works. Small outdoors event space for sun bathing. Spa is Definitely a hidden gem in the heart of Los Angeles. We escaped from the hustle and bustle of the city to quiet serenity. Guests, massage Therapist and Estheticians were kind and helpful. Private lockers available. Dress in clean comfortable clothing. For the modest, bring a two piece bikini to wear for pre-cleanse shower. They provide one-size-fits-most towels and spa robes. If you are plus size, such as myself, I recommend bringing your own clean white spa robe.

Wonderful facilities and staff. Great pools - and very clean , organized and well run. The staff made sure everything ran on time and efficiently. Will be back!

THIS IS EPIC. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!! It has changed a bit, for the better. I would love to see the restaurant back in business. And the mugwart tea pool. Excellent service, Clean, Covid guidelines. They have upped the prices, considerably. Be aware. 🙏🏽🥰🦄 …

My daughters 18th birthday celebrated at the spa. wonderful experience!

I love this women’s only Korean Spa. I have been going here for over 25 years. They have expanded over the years and for the best. They now offer manicures and food.
I always get the goddess treatment when I go. It’s the best ever! All of your old skin is scrubbed away. They also put a mask on your face and a treatment for your hair. Your skin is unbelievably soft for a long time after.
There are about 5 different saunas and a steam room. A tea jacuzzi, a regular jacuzzi and a cold dipping pool. You can relax on the heated floor after and take a nap.
I just love this place!
diana hsieh
they have re-opened, i was excited to go back, made an appt with my usual lady. They've remodeled, & gratuity is now included in price of service.
But unfortunately they got rid of my 2 favorite things:
1. MUGWORT pool
2. Restaurant..
Sad face. They added an "Ice room". Steam room barely steams, dry sauna & salt room are still the same. Also they dont have the heated toilet seats anymore. Not sure if i like the new olympic spa.
Katherine Gentile
Such a fun day with a friend. Extremely relaxing. The scrub was rejuvenating.
Nidhi Singh
My favorite place to relax and unwind. Small unpretentious Korean spa. It is not a luxury spa by any means but the treatments and facilities are great. There scrubs and massages are really good. I spend almost half a day getting pampered and then enjoying great bibimbap at their restaurant. It’s a women’s only spa and I would highly recommend it if you happen to be in la. Just a note to all the people who are uncomfortable about nudity please know this is a traditional Korean sauna/spa and you are fully nude for all your treatments and sauna facility. Please don’t write reviews and give them less stars because of this!!! It’s a traditional Korean spa and it is natural.
I would go here every day if I lived in la:)
Amanda Tharp
This is honestly one of my favorite places to visit. This last time I had a Pure Bliss treatment. And it was heavenly! The Himalayan rock salt room, steam room and the mugwort pool are my favorites! Prefect way to spend a whole day or just a couple hours if that's all you have time for. It's amazing having the Korean scrub. You literally leave with brand new skin. My skin feels incredibly luscious after a day here!
Elizabeth Warber
Love this spa! The services are excellent. My favorite massage is the nirvana which is a combination of deep tissue, hot stone and shiatsu. The body scrub is great too. The facility is very clean. The spa has a wet spa dry sauna, warm jade floor, jacuzzi, cold plunge pool, an oxygenated rock sauna and a Himalayan rock salt room. My favorite is the Mogwat bath. Come here for a day of heaven. Wash the city away!
Heidi Yam
The one and only go to spa when we are in town in LA. Great facilities and all the spa services on top notch!! 👍🏼👍🏼 …
Michel Chauvin
Very clean and inviting. I booked a Pure bliss spa treatment and loved it. Well worth every penny. Spent time before treatment in saunas and hot tub and after had a nap on the warmed jade floor then had a healthy meal in the cafe. All around a great experience
Bianca Mendez
Seriously my fav place to get some relaxing alone time! It's so clean, and the women are really nice! I go for monthly waxing and massage/scrubs, I can honestly say it keeps me sane. Not only can you get a good massage/wax but you can also get delicious meals and good sleep! I'm so happy I found this place and I would definitely recommend it! 😍
Charla Lauriston
AMAZING!! Lee gave me a full body scrub, facial, massage, and washed my hair. I used the sauna and relaxed for a bit even before that. The staff is friendly, and timely. It's totally worth every penny. I feel like I got a $300 experience for $100. Will bring everyone I know here. Much friendlier and smaller than Wi.
Letxia C
First time, great massage, clean facility, beautiful steam rooms- docking one star for lack of direction. Being new to this spa, I didn't know what protocol was, where facilities were, and I had to wander around and ask people for direction. It would have been nice for an attendant to have asked me before I entered if I was new so that someone would show me around. Other than that, great experience!
Cynthia Fisher
If I could give more stars I would! The service was amazing. This all female spa is a relaxing and total spa experience. You can do everything- jacuzzi, wet and dry saunas, body scrub, massage, facials, manicure, pedicure and even eat! We spent 5.5 hours relaxing...and we were not the only ones.
Clarke Davis
Would have given this place a straight 5/5 rating if the beginning wasn’t so rocky. I purchased two mini-massages with appointments for a friend and I for our first time at this location. The first 20 mins was rather confusing because it took walking back up to the front and asking two different staff members how the Process went and where to go once we put our shoes away before we really got going.
Although, after trying out all the different Saunas, hot tubs, and the mini massages, I would say the overall experience of the services received and feel of the women’s only spa was wonderful. Customer Service unfortunately has much to improve on.
Michelle B
Bliss! Consider this the quieter more intimate version of Wi Spa. A couple of times during my scrub-massage, the aunties even went and shushed customers who were being too loud in the pool/shower area (which was appreciated). The scrub is less harsh than others I've had and still gets good results. And whatever conditioner they use smells amazing.
Natalie F
Olympic Spa is the perfect getaway! It is clean, organized, and tranquil. I didn't try any of the treatments my first time there, but $20 is worth the price to soak in the different pools. My favorite place was the Himalayan pink salt sauna. It's peaceful and makes you feel like you've been walking along the beach. I will definitely be back for more!
Bon Bon
Whether I get a treatment or not this place in consistently great. It's a spa with a purpose more then fluff. It's amazing and we'll worth the time. Anytime I have had a treatment with any therapist it is great. I prefer Shen or Park. But really they are great. This place know how to employ great workers...and keep them. All the spa rooms are great. Bonus only females allowed in spa...great place for female energy and girl time
Sabrina Lee
Small but comfortable spa with a unique mugworth tub and different sauna rooms!
Lisa Wong
The best place tho soak, relax and unwind. I love all their detox rooms, especially the Himalayan salt room. My favorite hot tub is the mugwort hot tea bath. Love their massage, scrubs, and reflexology offerings.
Victoria Johnson
I love Olympic Spa! Great service, top notch scrubs and beautiful, clean facilities. I’ve been a customer for years!
Shauna Smith
Love this place! Food in cafe also happens to be amazing if you schedule time to be there during a mealtime. I feel it's the best value for the price and the scrubs I get here seem to be better than other spas that might have fancier amenities. It looks rough on the outside, but good quality on inside. This is my go to spot for all my special treat myself days ( bdays etc) my husband know all he needs to get me is a gift cert here for any gifting occasion and he's golden. And he gets the benefit of snuggling up to my smooth glowing skin for days afterward too- bonus! Don't expect the women who are giving you the treatments to be overly sweet and friendly. They can be a bit gruff sometimes ( only the ladies at front desk speak English pretty much) but do an amazing job.
Norma Ibarra-Mazin
Amazing service for mother and daughter day
Arleen Ferrara
I've been going to Olympic for about 9 years. It's hard to describe but when I settle into their warm water spa (always the first thing I do after a shower) I feel like I've returned home. It is simply one of the best self care things I can do for myself, right up there with yoga and long walks/hikes. I love the food and the private areas where you can nap. The shiatsu massages are awesome because I have a ton of nasty knots in my back. I love the whole place especially when other clients remember to speak very softly or not at all. Silence is golden here.
V V
Ideal place with Korean service, many different rooms and pools.
Kristin Ciasulli
My go to place for relaxation. Comprehensive services, clean, and a restaurant with good food. My only complaint is that sometimes there's a lot of cross talk between massage therapists during the massage which detracts from the therapeutic, relaxing experience I'm looking for. I mention this to management and have seen an improvement.
Karen Montes de Oca
JENNY!! Best deep tissue massage 🙌🏼 …
Christina Pedroza
If you're open to the idea of being nude in front of other women than this place is great for a self care day. Inexpensive and you can stay all day if you want(i recommend it). There's different temp pools, saunas, a heated himalayan salt room, headed jade floors (which will most likely put you into a nap) ( there's a few other amenities that I'm forgetting) in addition, the food is pretty good as well. Perfect for a day with the girls or a day alone.
Lisa Maria Forte
I love the Goddess package. The body scrub is exceptional. Soaks and steams before treatments are always delightful. Pro tip: bring your own water bottle to refill while enjoying your blissful treatments!
Leilani Ching
Absolutely LOVED my total experience. I got there 45 minutes early, relaxed in the herb hot tub, relaxed in the Himalayan salt hot room, and took a quick wiff inside the really steamy stream room before I received my treatment. I received the Goddess ritual service and will be flying from Oakland to LA every 2 months from now on just for this treatment. Love Love Love this place. I had Kong btw and she was lovely.
Florence Erman
My favorite spa for the past 5+ years. Used to be smaller, but they expanded the place and made it a lot nicer. Love the spaciousness of the place, so I don't feel claustrophobic when I'm there (Some other spas I've been to are much smaller). Also love the Himalayan Salt room and infrared room, as well as the mugwort hot tub (which unfortunately was recently changed to a sea salt hot tub, but I heard that the mugwort hot tub may be making a comeback). The cafeteria serves really good food. I always get my massages from Jenny, who does a great job, has really strong hands, and pays attention when she's doing the massage, so you don't feel like she's just going through the movements.
Mingzhao Xu
Stylist women's only spa that includes a very hot Mugwort tub, which I haven't encountered elsewhere. Came here b/c had muscle fatigue and ticks and several hours later, PROBLEMS MELTED AWAY! The common areas were extremely clean and well-maintained. Cute figurines and paintings all over the place. Free valet. Decent price for an all-day pass.
Food service was fast but clumsy as the kitchen is poorly staffed and people rarely tip. Tasted decent, not great.
Frankie Gremillion
Take your sweet time here to enjoy every room & pool, lunch room, & make sure you treat yourself to the Goddess treatment. I felt like a newborn after my service. Quite possibly the best 30th birthday gift to myself!
Antoinese Parhm
The milk&honey treatment is my personal favorite. Also a huge fan of their Spicy Ramen!
Nadia Becker
Very clean and sanitary
Here's what to expect if you've never been:
Arrive ahead of your appointment time! After your body scrub, you're done with the bath house area so arrive to get in your hot tub and wet sauna time BEFORE your appointment
Shoes go in one locker area (the first small lockers)
Other belongings in another locker (the bigger lockers)
Change into your green smock, shower off in the showers of the bath house area. No more green smock. Walk around in the buff.
There's a salt hot tub and a regular hot tub. The salt tub is hotter.
There's a cold pool and a wash canal, but I don't really know what it's for exactly. Washing?
There are two saunas. When it's your turn for your appointment, they will call your number.
The body scrub is amazing. The massage and other fancy pants things didn't impress me much, but the body scrub is a must.
After this, no more soaks or bath house saunas.
Exit and enjoy the other hot rooms in the spa outside of the bath house. Walk around in your robe.

This is the real affordable health care! I have a family member whose Asthma was healed as a result of the saunas and steam in this sacred place. No matter what size or shape. Come take care of your body like I do 4 times a month!
TaMiya Dickerson
Olympic spa is a all oasis in the middle of LA. The spa is organized and clean. The service is professional and nice. They have everything you want and need in a kspa: hot pool, hot pool with tea and extracts, cold pool, three dry saunas each with different natural ingredients like salt and clay that have healing properties. My massage was awesome. I feel amazing. Will definitely be back.
Merinda Herron
Loved ever minute here!
The hot stone massage is phenomenal! An out of this world experience!
Deborah Bailey
Hard to fathom on arrival, but if you 3 or 4 hours to spare, this place is out of this world. A Korean massage place, they issue you a locker and a wristband, and after that you are free to indulge in various hot and co,d baths, salt rooms, and other as you wait for the piece de resistance, the massage, which does not disappoint. A combination of rubbing, scrubbing, and deep massage, by the end of the process, relaxation is complete. The result is the wet noodle effect. Tremendous value, and delightful get away.
Shun “Haulin-Azz” Haulin_Azz
This place is amazing. I opted for the Pure Bliss Pkg, and that's exactly what I received. It's an amazing full body exfoliating scrub , massage, facial, and shampoo. If your an out of Towner like myself or a first time buyer, I suggest arriving at least an hour to an hour and a half early so that you have time to enjoy all of the amenities pre treatment. The staff is very friendly and helpful should you request assistance. However, a closed mouth does not get feed. Once you check in your on your own. There are two sets of lockers. The first small set is for shoes. Then in the dressing area are larger lockers to house your belongings. They will provide you with a wrist band on arrival that opens both lockers, and also doubles as a form of payment in the restaurant. Your locker number is how they will call you when it's time to receive your service.
Inside of your large locker you will find a towel and bath robe. In the shower area there are additional towels available. Bring your own slippers if you like those are not provided, however most people seemed comfortable walking barefoot, as the facilities are immaculately clean. Like any spa after undressing head to the shower and then feel free to relax in the jacuzzi, perhaps the Himalayan salt sauna , or traditional steam sauna, they also offer a mugwort bath for body detoxification. After your service there are also 2 areas with warm jade floor where you can nap, relax and read a book or catch up on some work, so feel free to bring your laptop. Mats, blankets and pillows are available for your use. This is an all women's facility so be prepared to spend most of your time there naked. Many services are performed in an almost communal setting, but they do offer private massage rooms as well. There is also a nice little restaurant on site the food was very tasty. As an over the road truck driver I have had an opportunity to visit different Spa's from NYC to Cali some where larger more commercial facilities some smaller independently owned. They have each offered something unique, but Olympic Spa is definitely one of my favorites.
Gina Gonzalez
I have to say they have a very large selection of fabrics and notions. Albeit a little on the expensive side. The place is kinda large and a little intimidating as it is full of obvious fashion design students and I'm just a mere tinkerer. No one is really jumping at you to assist, but they are quick and courteous when you hunt someone down.
Melana Smith (Melana Wellness)
I absolutely love this spa!!! For only $20 you can have access to all of the baths, and saunas. Its extremely clean, and only women are allowed!!!😊 They give you a towel, and a key to your electronic locker where your robe will be waiting. DISCLAIMER: You must be naked to enter the baths! I wish my friend would have told me this before my arrival, but I might not have gone... So it is all good. It was the hardest thing for me to deal with on my first visit. I had to get over my insecurities, but once I got over myself, I enjoyed every second. 🙌 It is a Korean spa, and the masseuses wear black bra and panties as the perform your treatments. Each one of them is amazing!!! The prices of the massages are awesome, and every time you get a quality experience. I leave feeling amazingly relaxed. The infared oxygen room is my favorite. It makes my skin so tight and shiny as I sweat. The Himalayan salt room has some awesome effects as well. There is also a Mugworts tea bath that is also awesome. I like to take advantage of the heated Jade floor and use a blanket and take a nap. Nobody bothers you. Just pure relaxation. So if you are a woman looking for some R&R.... Olympic spa is the place.
Ingrid Jensen (Ingridhairinspiration)
I always love coming here! Bella is my favorite facial girl! All the different rooms are amazing! Love the tea bath, and the head to toe package! The hot stone dish my favorite thing to eat.
Jeanne K
Full service facility including mugwort jacuzzi, salt rock room, steam room, dry sauna, plenty of showers, warm marble floor all unlimited use for $25 - towel, robe and locker included! You can also book a massage or facial or get delicious Asian food at the inhouse restaurant. A safe all women atmosphere for hours of healing relaxation.
Sydney Snyder
This was the first massage I've ever had where my hair was washed and conditioned in the middle of it...while on the table. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience for me. I really want to like this place as much as Spa Palace or Wi, but there just aren't nearly as many room or things to do and it is very easy to get yelled at. I do love the hot stone bibimbap here more than other places and the mochi is so good. The mugwort bath is cool, too, and you may spot a celebrity or two while here, but I have a hard time visiting a Korean spa without a clay ball room.
Becky Nowalski
You must prepare for 4 hours in exploring the different rooms, ice, sauna, Turkish, clay and the salt water jacuzzi ♥️
Traci Hakim
Always Wonderful From The Moment You Enter The Front Door The Service Is Always
A Excellent Experience.
Vanessa Lillie
I love Olympic spa, it is so relaxing. I love the full body scrubs my skin feels so good afterwards. Also they have a hot tub with medicinal tee in it that I really love. I imagine right now they are not able to be open
Sannae Hopson
My favorite Korean bath house/spa hands down. The Pink Himalayan Salt room is my favorite in the world. Best place to hide away for hours to recharge. Take a nap on a heated jade floor, get a treatment, eat some yummy foods, soak in a healing mugwort tea, and sweat the stress away in three sunas. It's the absolute best way to rejuvenate your skin, keeping it smooth and soft. Prices are rising and certain perks are fading away. But been coming for 10+ years.
T. “QueeNativ” Dynear
I apologize for this lengthy review. But I have nothing but GOOD to say about Olympic Spa! If you keep reading, You'll see I am giving you an overview of what they offer & how it works. . .
Olympic Spa is an Oasis in the big city. It is a place to vacate, meditate, study & rejuvenate for $20 all day (with no added treatments or packages)!!
I use to live in walking distance (3-4 blocks) from there, so I attended quite often. It was ALWAYS a slice of Heaven. I rode in & locked up my bike there. Their valet attendants looked after my bike just as well as the cars.
The clientele consists of EVERY woman (hue, size, shape, interests & profession).
They ask that you bring a pair of flip-flops that you reserve only for use when in the spa.
When you walk in Peace & Quiet falls upon you.
They assign you 2 lockers & a cubby: The 1st is for your street shoes, the 2nd is for your cloths & belongings (remember to silence your phone), while the cubby is for the incidentals (locker key towel, water bottle, etc.) you may carry with you into the wet room. Although it is a "no-clothes/no swimsuit" spa, they give you a robe & supply lots of small towels. Of course you can bring your own bath, beauty supplies & tools.
They ask that you arrive 45mins. early (before sched. treatments) so you may bidet, bathe, shower & soak (in the mugwort tea, Jacuzzi, ice & trough bath) reminiscent of the bath houses and the therapeutic river-bathing women use to do together when we were hunter-gatherers.
A most-loving gesture is to offer to wash another's back.
The ceilings are lined with charcoal logs for air purification & deodorizing.
After you leave your street life in your locker, be sure to grab a cup of Mugwort Tea as you head to the wet room.
Aside from the routine spa treatments & services (massage, facial, mani-pedi, etc.), there are several relaxing "self-therapy" rooms:
- Dry Heat with a raised floor (heat rises)
- Steam Room
- Dry Sauna
- The Himalayan Salt Rock room surrounds you in negative ions which eradicates free radicals in our systems.
- 2 Warm Jade Napping floors!! An Absolutely Lovely way to compete your stay.
But Baaaby!! By far (my opinion) the Akasuri Scrub is the Cats Pajamas! The ladies who provide the wet room treatments wear sports bras & undies as their uniform and what they scrub off you looks like black rubber. Talk about NEW SKIN! THEY'LL EVEN WASH YOUR HAIR depending on the package you choose. Remember them in your final payment with an added Love Offering. The technicians are SO deserving.
There is even a dining room. In the rear where you can order fresh nourishing juices, soups & salads with probiotics & ferments added to align your insides with all the goodness your outer body is receiving.
The second Jade napping floor is back there as well.
I desperately miss Olympic Spa! Only thing missing there is a good Thai Masseuse; then they would be perfect.
Sarah N.- B.
I've been going to Olympic Spa for over 20 years. Use of pools and sauna is $20 or $25 (don't remember), because I always get the Goddess treatment ($140 + tip), and feel like a new woman when they are done washing, scrubbing and massaging. If you want to wear a bathing suit, it's not the place for you. If you want to reset emotionally, physically, spiritually this is for you!!!
Lauren Hamer
Overall nice for kspa but unfortunately the people there don't know how to act... It's hard to relax with people scrubbing themselves (???) In the sauna, eating food in the wet area and being loud as hell. I'll probably be back again but definitely not on a Saturday afternoon. I wish people would take some time to understand what is ok and not ok in Korea spa situations... People were getting shushed by the employees and all the tubs were packed.
Sara Dillier
Great few hours of bliss. Goddess package is well worth the price. The hard part is leaving and taking a regular in home shower after such a good time.
Kathryn McNeill
The most relaxing place. LOVE the scrub. Love getting lunch at the cafe. Great girls day!
Jessica Cummings
For Korean Spa Newbies: Just do it! You won't regret it.
I received an email invitation from my Vietnamese sister. I was a little nervous knowing I would be naked and she had invited her mum and two other friends I hadn't yet met to join us. "Pleased to make your acquaintance. Does this mirror make my bum look fat?"
The day arrived & to Olympic Spa we went, all five of us, and about 20 others including an actress from We're the Millers. If you are self-conscious about your body, this place will help you see we all have the same parts & insecurities. You get over them quickly.
**Don't forget your spa slippers!
First, valet your vehicle. Next, pay for your service, receive assigned locker key, hospital-style robe, spa towel & proceed. Strip down to your birthday suit. Grab your robe, towel & locker key & hit the showers, then the saunas (Himalayan salt, infared, etc.) and take a hot soak (Mugworts or clear water) prior to your scrub to soften up the skin.
We decided on the Bliss package. All I know is I've never felt so good!
I was scrubbed, rubbed, oiled, polished & new after that 2 hours. It was amazing the way Kim seemed to know my muscles. I had just spend 22 hours flying and worked out a little too hard to compensate so my back & shoulders were inflamed. She worked out the kinks with out hurting me and I am forever grateful. Kim even gave my tired tresses a minty mask, my scalp a massage, then wash & conditioned my hair. I was baby soft when she finished!
Felis Stella
I've been coming here since 1998!!! To this day this is my favorite Korean spa. It's women only so you don't have to wear silly shorts and t-shirts the way you do in coed spas. Olympic spa has a hot mugwort pool - not one other spa I've been to has one. Mugwort is an excellent herb for detoxing your system, especially skin, circulation, liver and nervous system. Their milk and honey scrub treatment is the best - they scrub layers of your skin off with milk and then massage you head to toe with honey and jojoba oil while you have a crushed cucumber mask on your face. Their oxygen room and himalayan salt room are great. The café is spacious and welcoming and has great options for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Two negatives: 1) the ladies (customers) can get pretty chatty and loud, especially when you're trying to get a treatment in peace and quiet; 2)they don't have an ice room. Other than that they're great. They may not be the biggest spa in town, but to me they are the best.
Marci Javril
Get into the Mugwort Bath and soak it up! then take a coooold dip, then visit the salts room. Or perhaps you'll go steam, get a scrub, and do a sauna (with cold dips in between). Or maybe take a jacuzzi, have a deep shiatsu massage, and end with infra-red sauna. Or maybe, like me, you will fit it ALL in, and spend a few HOURS here, soaking, scrubbing, getting hot and cold, lounging on the warm tiles, reading, whispering with friends? For sure, you will increase your longevity, radiance, and inner joy! Get some TLC anytime, this self paced spa is ideal for short or longer visits, and the kitchen has a terrific yummy menu. I'm a devoted fan.
Mary Aracena
My coworker recommended the Goddess Treatment after a particularly rough week. I scheduled a mani/pedi with the Dazzle nail polish and the goddess treatment. I first had my mani/pedi at about 12:30 pm on a Saturday. I then took the time to hit the sauna, mugwort jacuzzi and the shower. I had Choi as my masseuse. I did not realize that the entire treatment would take place near the water/jacuzzi area. It was AMAZING and exactly what I needed. They polish/scrubbed me down from neck to toe. I was left with super soft radiant skin. They also did a hair treatment/face mask and finally a rub down with oil and full body massage. Choi is amazing! I will be going back!
Yolande Beckles
Best women's spa in LA for women. $20 and you can stay all day!!! 9am -10pm on site cafe, valet parking and treatments for extra. Be prepared to naked believe me nothing watching!!!
zoe pesto
I thought this experience would awkward, but it was AMAZING. The lady that did my scrub and massage was wonderful, and the various tubs, pools, saunas, and therapy rooms were outstanding. I'll be back!
Catherine Campion
My favorite Korean spa! I recommend: Mugwort 🛀 👉 ❄ pool 👉 salt chamber 👉 infra red sauna. Then, be sure to treat yourself to the facial, massage & scrub, which includes admission. Bibimbap hot pot alone is worth the trip. Bring your own mug to drink lots of barley🍵! …
Jess Harbeck
The best place ever. Respect the traditions, shower between sweating and pools, don’t complain about the tubs being hot or cold (they are like that for a reason), and enjoy the deepest massage of your entire existence.
Katy Duffy-Sherr
AMAZING. The body scrub is fantastic. I lived the different tubs of water, the heated tiles and the salt room. I wish I lived in LA so I could go to this place all the time.
Jessa Yoos
Had a great, relaxing time here. The body scrub and the massage were both very thorough. Loved the oxygen and salt sauna. The staff were friendly.
Andrea Von Bargen
Very chill, very clean and a great value. Not as big as some of the other Korean Spas. However, it has everything you need on one floor. My favorite so far.
Marie Rydin
A wonderful spa with sessaltsauna, oxygen sauna , herbalbath before scrubbing and massaging for hours. Complete relaxation. They thought of every detail like hot roller towels under neck during trestment. Highly recommended!

The massage I received was wondering and the valet parking was nice and much needed, but the pools were a little too busy and too small for my tastes.

I still love this spa! They added a couple of amenities. However, I think they went really high on their prices after the closure for covid. I've been going here for years. I just wish they still had the restuarant, the food use to be really good and convenient for customers. I dont like that the require the 20% tip eventhough I did tip based on the quality of service. There is no day pass anymore and the push for these expensive memberships.
I stop going to every month and now go about every 6mos due to the pricing. I just feel like theres other spas that are very similar all women spas that are resonable in the area and have pretty much the same set up, offer day passes and more.

(Translation) Excellent Korean bath, has 4 saunas: wet, dry, infrared and with Himalayan salt. Angelica bath with medicinal herbs, jacuzzi and cold bath. Relaxation area and restaurant with traditional cuisine. There is a service: massages and scrubs, which it is advisable to order in advance and are paid for separately. I recommend taking rubber slippers with you, so as not to go barefoot, and a washcloth. Everything else is included in the price (towels, bathrobes, liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner and many useful little things). The visiting time is not limited. Recommend!
