My experience at Holiday was magical. I came in dire need of a relaxing, healing facial and received just that. I felt seen and deeply taken care of, from the customized pure products to a rejuvenating facial and neck massage. I could not recommend this spa more, especially if you’re looking for a clean beauty approach in an energetically positive space!

After moving to Boston and feeling such a lack of confidence due to acne I found Catherine and came in for a 30 min facial. From my first ever appointment I was a new person ,my skin was GLOWING. I was very new to waxing before going to Holiday, both Catherine and Lindsay make the experience a breeze. Not only are they incredibly professional but also wonderful individuals as well! Edit 12/13/21 - Update, it’s been over a year since I’ve been doing my monthly waxes at Holiday, I genuinely get so excited to go in, see Catherine, and catch up on life. The energy in the studio is always fantastic, so welcoming and warm! And I’ve officially gotten my first ever facial from the lovely Catherine, and let me tell you, it will certainly not be my last! It was more than I could’ve imagined! Catherine is such a lovely, warm, and down to earth person, and the studio is GORGEOUS! The masks smelled so natural and botanical (no fake perfumey scents here) and you can tell all products used are top quality. She catered the experience to my skin needs, and the neck/shoulder/face massage was enchantingly good. I could’ve laid there for hours! Even from one visit it is obvious that Holiday really goes out of their way to make clients feel special, with a lot of little details that go the extra mile and make them stand out. Catherine is so knowledgeable about skincare I can’t imagine trusting anyone more with how to care for my skin. I purchased a lovely facial scrub there but never felt an ounce of pressure to do so. I never go to spas but really wanted to try eyebrow tinting, lash tinting, and a lash lift. I was really nervous to try it out, but I heard a lot of good things about Holiday Skin + Wax. I went online and booked an appointment with the service that I wanted at the time I wanted (super easy) and went in the same day! My experience was AMAZING. The space itself is super inviting and cozy. When I met Catherine, she made me feel comfortable and at ease! She’s knowledgeable and explained the process and what type of products she uses. I think that was the most impressive part- that all of the ingredients she used in her products were safe- no weird chemicals. The result- AWESOME!! I loved my eyebrow tint, lash tint, and lash lift!! I felt fabulous. I can’t wait to book my next appointment with her. Can’t believe I took so long in the first place. If you’re looking for a place that makes you feel fabulous, I highly recommend Catherine and Holiday Skin + Wax.

Holiday Skin + Wax is simply the best of the best. Beautiful and convenient space, and Catherine is the best aesthetician I've ever had, and is the only person whom will ever allow to touch my brows. Her wax + tint package is party of my bi-weekly routine, and her facials are amazing. My skin health and quality have drastically improved since I started seeing her and I've gotten many compliments on my brows. Her waxes are also super quick, efficient, and perfect! You can tell Catherine cares so much about her clients' experience. She is incredibly friendly and does everything to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I'm no stranger to bikini waxes so I feel very confident when I say this was the quickest, most professional wax I've had in a very long time. The studio is adorable, smells great, and is very clean. I used Groupon for my first wax but my second will be as part of the VIP deal which Catherine kindly offers. I was interested in some of her products and possibly getting a facial. Catherine happily answered all of my questions without sounding like she was giving a sales pitch. After numerous experiences at chain establishments it was refreshing to speak to someone who really cares about her business. Five stars without hesitation.

Hidden gem of Brookline! I love their facials and love how Lindsey will give you the best advise on which treatment you should get. Also the service room is so cute! Does not feel commercial. Very homey with the nude colors, crystals and the rainbow light beams. I also think it’s priced well! I will be going back.

I wish I could give Holiday Skin and Wax 10 stars! Catherine Richardson is an absolutely amazing esthetician. She creates a relaxing and warm environment and makes you feel absolutely pampered. I haven’t gotten my eyebrows done in a long time because I am not very trusting of others with my brows, but she made them look perfect! I also get bikini waxes with her every 4-6 weeks and I will never go anywhere else. She uses both soft and hard wax with expert technique. I have also had the pleasure of getting a facial with her - on your 6th visit every service is half off so I splurged for a facial and WOW. It was by far the best facial I’ve ever had. Catherine uses all natural ingredients and has lots of options for types of facials and can accommodate your preferences in many ways. I love Catherine and her business. Cannot recommend her highly enough. She is amazing and I send all my friends to her!

I had a couture facial with deep relaxation - it was AMAZING. The space is beautiful, inviting and relaxing. Catherine is super warm and friendly. She listened to my skin concerns and addressed them during the facial and gave me advise for at home care. Throughout the facial, she let me know what she was applying. While the masks, serums and lotions were working their magic, Catherine pampered my neck, shoulders, arms and hands with massage. There was also ample facial massage. My facial was a super relaxing experience and my skin looks phenominal.

I really cannot rave enough about this spot. Catherine has the most beautiful studio in the city; it’s bright, inviting, immaculately clean and, of course, #aestheticgoals. My brows have never looked better after her wax and tint. She’s given my lashes the most beautiful lifts and they really do last for well over two months. She’s always been so accommodating when I’ve dragged friends with me to appointments and I really love how much she supports other female entrepreneurs. I’ve since moved out of Boston but I have yet to find a place as warm and welcoming and someone as sweet, dedicated, and talented as Catherine.

I have extremely sensitive skin and Catherine is the first esthetician whose wax products have not negatively affected me. Her small, cozy salon is tucked away in Brookline Village (a minute or so walk from the D line), and always smells like sage, lavender, or something else that reminds you to take a deep breath. The space is also super clean. Not to mention, Catherine herself is so kind and bubbly. She is always on time, and gets me in and out in twenty minutes. Highly recommend!

I have always been insecure about my eyebrows given some weird trimming I did at a young age (why doesn't anyone tell you the things you do to your eyebrows at a young age will forever haunt you?!). I shared this with Catherine who made the experience more positive than I could have imagined. She was patient, walked me through what she was doing, and made me feel I was in good hands. Following the wax/tint, I sincerely could have cried I was so happy with the outcome, and my friends have already been asking where I went :) Also, my first Brazilian experience was...rough. I am SO thankful I gave Holiday Skin & Wax a go, because not I will not dread the next visit. This is all not to mention Catherine's space is lovely! Not sterile, very warm, and relaxing. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Catherine has completely changed my life with her immense knowledge and talent in skincare and facials. I have struggled with acne recently and since I have been getting regular facials with her my skin has drastically improved in every way. She has addressed all of my skin care concerns and educated me about how to improve the issues I am having now and prevent other issues in the future.
