I went in for a handful of services: eyebrow waxing and tinting, microdermabrasion facial, and a deluxe French manicure. I was extremely pleased with everyone's friendliness and professionalism. The facility is clean and zen. I'd give a 5 star rating but unfortunately my French manicure was so poorly done that 3 days later, the polish is chipping or bubbling on multiple nails. I'd expect higher quality for a $60 manicure, so it is a bit disappointing. I will return for future facials but I'll have to look for a different nail service.

I had such a wonderful experience here - and was truthfully a little scared from some of the reviews. I got to use the steam room before my massage with Steve, who was incredibly professional and really helped ease my leg pain. My only ding on a star was the hair in the women’s locker room on the floors. Since it’s white granite I can understand it’s hard to keep up with, but other than that I would have no problem coming back! Super relaxed and friendly staff

Came here for a bachelorette spa afternoon and it was such a fun and relaxing time. We did the Bali Rejuvenating Ritual in the Experience Room and we sat in the Salt Cave. It was great for the 6 of us to bond and share memories. I would recommend calling if you plan to have a group of people going as this is the most efficient way to reach someone and schedule appointments. Maria was so helpful and kind when I spoke to them on the phone and when we were there in person.

I've been going to G2O since 2000. I can say the service has gone down considerably. Lucy makes it worthwhile to continue to patronize the place, but good luck trying to get an appointment. Also, the front desk is extremely rude and unhelpful. Lastly, I tried several times to book for my entire team (this requires a form or call to a “specialist” who manages large parties)--I never received a call back to my request. I decided to take my team to Mandarin Oriental instead and was treated wonderfully. Their loss, not mine.

I am only giving it three stars because the people at the front desk are so nice and sweet! But i had been going to G2O spa & salon montly for almost a year, and on my last appointment, I decided to not pay for a finish. It was freezing cold outside, so I at least expected my hair stylist to dry my hair lightly (it didn’t have to be a blow out or anything!!! i didn’t have time for one!) and after she touched up my roots (which is already SO expensive) and it came to the blow dry part, she said that since I didn’t pay for a finish, “I could dry it myself” (and gave me the hair drier to dry it in front of the whole salon). I had never gone through a situation like that, specially going there religiously every month for almost a year I expected a better treatment :(((

Clean and very professional but too expensive I have a dermabrasion that last 30 minutes for 90 dollars, no even change to relax most facial places at the end put you a mask for extra 15 minutes so your skin have chance to get moisturize and you to relax, so I think it's not good deal for your money

I’ve had various services there - massages, facial, haircut, salt cave and the unique shower experience room (fun with a group of friends!) I highly recommend it.

Favorite spa & salon in Boston. I’ve only tried their nail service & massages, and both are great - I especially love their Himalayan Stone Massage. And they limit their appointments so it’s very relaxing being here since it’s not overcrowded like other places. I drive to G2O from 40 mins away because their quality and service is unparalleled - tried so many other places, but none are comparable.

Nice, modern, calming and clean facilities with very professional staff. There’s some good amenities like a salt room, sauna, waiting rooms with very light snacks, nice, clean locker rooms. We got massages and the quality was just okay, I think my massage therapist might have been new, she seemed apprehensive to put more pressure in the massage but my friend said her massage was great. The next day my knots were still there so for me, their price doesn’t correlate with quality.

A friend and I were in Boston for a girls trip when a tropical storm hit so we decided to see if we could get some indoor pampering. From our first contact the staff here were extremely helpful. They managed to get us both in for massages and a session in the salt cave. The spa is beautiful and extremely relaxing. Got us off to a great start on our trip! Loved the relaxation room and both the steam and sauna. Highly recommend!!!!

Okay - this is going to be THE longest glowing review. I have so much to say. First, the G2O facility - they have thought of everything! It is relaxing and peaceful prior to treatment and after, where you can relax in their lounge with some tea and a massage chair or hit the sauna for a while. The staff is so sweet all around. I had two treatments last week: a facial from Liz and a massage from Jeff. First, I cannot begin to say enough great things about the essential facial I received from Liz. She knows her stuff more than any esthetician I have ever received treatment from. The facial itself was completely relaxing and my skin is so soft and looks amazing because of it. I have been dealing with some possible oncoming rosacea issues and Liz had amazing suggestions to help that and also addressed how to care for my skin as I continue my journey with intermittent fasting. She handled ALL my questions like a champ too. Thank you Liz for your professionalism and talent - I will most definitely be back to see you! And Jeff...OMG. For anyone reading this who shies away from a male masseuse - stop right now. Jeff gave me the BEST 90 minute massage of my life (and I have had a lot of massages). My neck, back and hips are a mess from working from home and being stressed. He got all the knots out AND still made it a relaxing experience. There is no doubt he knows his stuff. G2O, you are doing everything right and have filled your location with the right people. Well done and thank you!

I visited G2O for the first time two weeks ago, Tanea gave me a scalp treatment, hair cut and blow dry. I initially booked an appointment for a keratin treatment but after my consultation, she advised me that I should wait because I had a relaxer not too long ago and it wouldn’t be healthy for my hair, which I genuinely appreciate that she took the time to research this for me! I love my haircut and my hair feels so much healthier. I had my second visit a couple of days ago, and had a pedicure/ gel mani with Lisa and she was absolutely amazing. She gave me a hand and foot massage that just have my hands and feet feeling refreshed as well as looking beautiful☺️.G2O provides a safe, immaculately clean, friendly environment that keeps me coming back!

Nice facilities, but the pricing and payment of the spa was confusing. The customer service was ok, nobody was overly friendly but they were professional. The massage was also ok. Could of used a more personalized service in regards to what scents and smells and lotions were used or offered. I didn’t like that the masseuse sat down in an office style chair that was very loud when they moved around and really effected the ambiance of the experience. The massage was on the lighter side and felt more therapeutic then it did relaxing. Overall a nice spa, but not the best I’ve ever been too 6/10.

I had been traveling and was walking through downtown Boston looking for a manicure to undo my Halloween nails. This was the first place I found. It was clean and the people were really nice and I am only sorry that I do not live in the area. I would certainly be a regular. One point of note Dash you need to go up an elevator to get to the spa from a dark lobby…. I was almost apprehensive to go in… But the place was immaculate and the staff could not have been kinder

Oh. My. God! My partner bought me a gift card here after experiencing a massage at the spa. I went after 2 weeks of moving chaos - and I feel like a whole new person! Lucy did an amazing job working through knots I knew of - and many that I didn't. The spa itself is beautiful, and all the staff was super friendly and helpful. I just had a Deva Cut with Elle and it was fantastic. I have wavy hair and this was my first time getting a special cut. Elle was fantastic and really personalized my cut and styling. She was very knowledgeable about curly/wavy hair and how to follow the curly girl method for different hair types. I left with perfectly shaped hair and more knowledge on how to style it. The hairstylists themselves are absolutely amazing. I have been going for years and don't even live in Boston anymore but still make the trip. However, the reservations department is absolutely horrendous. They completely lack basic customer service skills and make reservation errors frequently. For such a high end establishment you would think their reservations team would be better.

I had a great experience here. I got a pedicure here for a birthday gift. I was little unsure because of the upscale feel, but everyone was very kind and attentive. The lovely woman that did my pedicure was amazing and did a phenomenal job. I would recommend this place for a day to relax and pamper yourself!

This place is very nice and every employee really listens and takes care of your needs. You can also use the facilities before and after your appointment, if you want to hit the steam room or sauna. I did the Bali experience with a group for a party and it was very enjoyable and relaxing. I then got a blow out so my hair was done for the evening, every experience was amazing.

G2O, was amazing. My friend came from Spain and I met her in Boston to enjoy a girls weekend. I love spa treatments and I try to have massages and facials often, so I go to different spas every time I can, looking for the best place that offers good amenities and good service. This spa was absolutely incredible. We both did the Razul therapy in the experience room and after that my friend got a signature facial with Tricia, and I had a massage with Lucy. Both therapists are well trained and knowledgeable, they really like their jobs and for us as clients their dedication and effort to satisfy our needs, made the trick and gave us exactly what we were looking for, a day of relaxation, pampering and well being. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks to all the staff and the new clean facilities this place is highly recommended!! At the end of our afternoon by accident I left my reading glasses into my robe... and did not notice until I made it home. The following day I called and the office manager ups them for me. Really nothing went wrong with this place....

Beautiful facility, great hair stylist, but HUGE mix up with my hair appointments! I love the actual interior of the salon, but I tried to schedule hair appointments several times before my wedding, making it known that I needed coloring and extensions prior to the big day. I live on the Cape and work odd hours, so it's difficult for me to find an open day for these appointments. The first appointment was scheduled 2 months in advance for Balayage in May. The front desk called me to cancel my my appointment just days before. I had to reschedule for 2 weeks later since the hair stylist I wanted was in high demand and not available until then. We had a consultation about extensions that would be applied a week before my wedding in August. I scheduled that appointment for the extensions months in advance. The stylist is one of the salon's most popular, and she did an excellent and meticulous job dying my hair to get the perfect color. I was worried about my extensions appointment since I had not heard from the salon about ordering the hair. I called to cancel the appointment once I had discussed the process with a stylist at a different salon, and when I called the front desk the appointment had ALREADY BEEN TAKEN OFF THE BOOKS!!! The hair stylist actually reached out and contacted me the weekend before my wedding... She had ordered the hair for the extensions, which I felt terrible about. I believe this was a big error on the part of the front desk staff, since I assumed my appointment had been cancelled.

I recently got my hair color done here and loved Linda. She was lovely and did a great job. I am excited about their new location. The Newbury Street one was a little tight.

Incredibly professional! A rave review after a misbook is most likely rare, however, I cannot describe how understanding and accommodating Marcella, my Esthetician/Service Provider, as well as the entire staff were due to an error made during booking (the representative on the phone was also super friendly and thorough, but sometimes things just happen!), and although I only spent a short amount of time in G2O, and in a what would normally be a distressful situation, I felt completely heard, understood, and more than taken care of. I am incredibly excited for my originally scheduled service to take place, because if I left feeling this refreshed and cared for after this particular experience, then I can only imagine how incredible the service will be. And shout out to Marcella (Esthetician) for going above and beyond, and providing precisley what I requested product wise, giving lots of samples, and for being able to still provide me with time beyond well-spent despite the circumstances. Definitely book with her for your skincare/spa essentials! Highly recommend!

I have had massages, manicures, hairstyling, cut and coloring, eyelash tinting and eyebrows done there. All of the service providers are top notch especially Amanda who does my hair and Steven a massage therapist. The ambience is great, too. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful Salon/Spa. I do not participate in all the Spa services, however, my nail technician is head and shoulders above anyone else I have ever worked with. Same for my hair stylist! Everyone is kind and courteous as well. Let’s not forget management/ownership. Joyce has the good sense to “CARE!” She sets the tone of her business snd she does a wonderful job. Through Covid they did it all to remove any anxiety from there guests, and now it is better than before, with a very lovely coffee service snd a general understanding, ‘the customer comes first!’ Truly great to be a loyal client. I absolutely LOVED my visit at G2O! I booked a haircut with Darren Le looking for a change, and was truly worried since I had had the same hairstyle for almost 10 years. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for, what I didn't want, and gave me advice on how to best care for my new style. He gave me a haircut even more amazing than I could have ever imagined. It's on the expensive side but certainly well worth it. Conveniently located and a beautiful space, I will definitely be returning!

This is my third salt cave experience and I had the entire room to myself. There is an option of wearing your clothes rather than using a robe. The zero gravity chair, dimmed lights and ambient music makes a 45 minute relaxing experience. The light come up when the session is over. The sauna is very good and again I was the only patron. The steam room in the ladies locker room didn't seem hot enough to me. The shower doesn't have a shelf to put your own bath products. There is G2O shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the shower. I would prefer a glass shower door rather than a curtain. I was surprised by the limited water station. I would expected water in the locker room as well. The staff are very polite and cheery.

Had a FABULOUS Swedish massage & then went on to do many more things: eye brow threading, facial hair removal, reflexology, manicure & hair! It is truly a one stop GREAT DAY SPA! Highly recommend!!

I have been looking for a good day spa online, since I am not from Boston. Some of the reviews really made me question if I should go somewhere at all. But I decided to book an appointment for an aroma therapy massage at the g2o spa. The booking, which was made online, was so easy to do. On the day I got there a little bit early and from the time I stepped out of the elevator everybody was so nice to me. I came in the morning, which was great since I almost had the place to my self. The massage, the sauna and the steam room were great. I would always recommend this place to somebody who wants to have a little relaxation in the city and doesn’t want to spend a fortune. Thank you for an awesome experience.

This isn't my usual spa but I decided to go here because my friend suggested it. I love the ambiance of this spa. Everything was clean and the bathrooms spelled awesome. They have coffee/ tea and biscuit/cookies out for you to eat near the waiting area. The couches were very comfortable. Now to the important stuff, the actual facial - I decided to get was the g2o signature facial. I really enjoyed how comfortable the heated bed was. It was a typical facial starting with a cleanse. Then they give me goggles and she puts the lamp directly over my face to look at imperfections or problem areas i'm concerned about. I have dry skin so she used more hydrating products on my skin. We used some tools to help prevent wrinkles and a peel jelly mask. Overall, I really loved it. I want to bring my mom to get a facial! The entire experience was luxurious yet not over the top. I'll be coming back for more.

I came into the salon for a cut, color correction & blowdry with Tiffany. She did a great consultation with me to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted. I felt very comfortable coming into the salon during this pandemic because they are taking alot of safety measures!

I’ve now visited G2O a few times since they’ve reopened. Not only do I appreciate the extra precautions they’ve taken at the salon (only every other styling chair seat is full, staff isn’t kept inside the salon when not necessary, etc) but they’ve done a great job in making me still feel cared for and pampered despite the circumstances. I’ve been visiting my stylist, Nadja, since I started coming here 2 years ago. It’s so refreshing to have a salon like this which hire stylists who can offer box braids, silk presses, etc. for Afro-textured hair like mine. This service alone would’ve warranted my loyalty, but the COVID processes are the cherry on top. Thank you for being a salon that promotes inclusivity and safety.

I did an Experience Room for a friend's birthday. What a fun thing to do! There were 8 of us in a cavernous room. We were given masks to apply to skin in different areas of our body. We were well taken care of before and after the experience. The locker room is comfortable and well-appointed. I was impressed with the price which was about $72 including gratuity. I can't believe this place has been around for about 10 years and I had never been yet! Would definitely go back.

Been here multiple times, but I always book last minute, so I get different people. Everyone has always been amazing. I went there today, and got Tiffany for haircut. I had about 8 inches cut off my hair today. Very emotional. Tiffany was amazing and inspired confidence in everything. The most exceptional part, was that she never let me see all of that hair on the floor.

I had been going to another salon for years prior to seeing Darren for the first time. At this salon, I was there for one purpose, get in, get my haircut, and get out. I never really have had any semblance of a relationship with my hair stylists and it has always just been an "ok" time, or worse, in certain cases. My hair, many times, would look fine, but I had never experienced the comfortable, relaxing, enjoyable, experience which so many other folks have raved about, and I could never relate to. After getting my haircut by Darren because my salon was closed for COVID-19 precautions, I finally got that wonderful experience! He talked as much as I wanted to, used some incredible techniques to make my hair feel 10 pounds lighter, gave me great hair care tips, and made me finally enjoy the experience of getting a haircut. So, while the price at G20 may seen a bit much (and I was a little stunned when I saw it too!), the experience and long-lasting look and reduced maintenance, make the price discrepancy between here, and my previous salon worth it! Plus, it is to be expected that Newbury Street is a bit more pricey anyways. Anyways, thank you Darren and G20 for helping me understand what a haircut should really feel like! I am very excited for my next visit! :)

I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Patricia for almost a year- she is the absolute best! Having blonde, fine hair is a challenge and she always gets the color and cut absolutely perfectly. I got some extensions for body on my last visit and per usual Patricia knocked it out of the park and matched them perfectly. Her assist is also so amazing and always makes sure that I am well taken care of, as does Patricia. I always leave looking and feeling fabulous!!

Staff was very friendly and attentive and the spa overall was super clean and modern. And I probably got one of the best pedicures of my life from Van. He is an artist! The only complaint I would have is that the atmosphere is a little too modern, missing some of the “warmth” you typically get in a spa.

I'm not a regular spa-goer- have only done a spa treatment once in my life before-, but decided to treat myself to a birthday spa day at G2O and was very satisfied. G2O is a 5 floor full-service day spa with pretty much any service you may want, from hair to nails to body/face treatments and even energy work, and along with a great online advance booking system, the spa concierge will hook you up and book things on the spot in case the mood strikes. To begin with, the spa amenities offered here are excellent, and if you're new they'll give you a full tour so you know what to enjoy... from a roof deck fireplace and hot tub, to a sauna and brine relaxation room, they've got you covered for a full day of relaxation here, so make sure to add in some additional time before/after your scheduled treatment to enjoy them all. (Tip: earlier in the day seemed to be less crowded- I had the hot tub and sauna to myself prior to my appointment.) Along with the usual robes and bathroom products, they even had disposable bathing suits to use in the hot tub or for your treatment, which is pretty cool. I also think you're able to order wine (extra charge) before/after your appointment, and of course they had water and tea/coffee to enjoy. For my chosen treatment, Rebeca did an aromatherapy body scrub which started out with vigorously applying the organic body scrub all over, rinsing it off by myself in the shower room which had horizontal water streams, and then getting lathered with the same scent of body lotion/oil. The scrub was just that- rubbing the scrub into my skin until I was nice and pink all over, although Rebeca did check with me that the pressure she was using was OK, so you can customize how intense the scrubbing is. My skin felt wonderful and really detoxed/fresh/new/smooth at the end, and thought the experience did have elements of a full body massage (although remember, your skin is being scrubbed down fairly roughly, so it's not the sleep-inducing experience a pure massage might be). Rebeca recommended heading to the brine relaxation room (a quiet room with lounge chairs, a waterfall, changing colors, and salt air) to give my body time to settle and relax before heading out, and asked if I was interested in taking any of the products she used home with me (not a true hard sell, but worth being prepared for). Start to finish, I had a positive experience at G2O, and look forward to treating myself again in the future. UPDATE: I've gone a few times over this year and have yet to be disappointed with any of the spa services/technicians. Try the aromatherapy scrub and massage with Gidget.

My sister took me here today for my birthday. I traveled from out of town and we planned this date many months ago. When we arrived we were told that one of estheticians called in sick for the day and we would not be able to do what we booked. This was a disappointment because as I said, we planned the day for many weeks and traveled to be here. This is also the type of thing that would really irritate my sister and I - it is not what you expect from a high end spa. The women at the spa were so genuinely apologetic and went above and beyond to accommodate this inconvenience. They offered to adjust the appointments and to compensate us both in a monetary fashion and also with other services that we did not originally plan. They were kind about it, sincere, professional and courteous. I was really blown away at how everyone at the spa was willing to turn this disappointing experience into a great day for us. We loved all of our treatments. The facial was amazing. We enjoyed time in the salt cave. We also were each able to try out the saltwater floating pods. We enjoyed the beverages and snacks and spent time reading in the relaxation room. It was all absolutely wonderful. When we left for the day the manager had little gift bags put together for us to further apologize for the unexpected change in plans. All of the staff was just completely committed to customer service and to making sure that we walked out of there happy. You guys did a great job! Mission accomplished. We can not wait to come back and spend more time at your location. We know that we will get A+ treatments and service. Thank you all for such a wonderful day. Keep up the good work!

Before G2O, I was not a regular spa goer. Now that I've found G2O, I can't help myself. I've used a variety of their services: massages, spray tans, and the salon, and I'm looking forward to trying the rest. The atmosphere and the amenities are simply second to none. I love being able to use the brine room, rooftop deck, hot tub, and fireplace lounge when I arrive early (and when I buy friends/family gift cards, they are always EXTREMELY impressed). I was given a gift card to this spa that I had misplaced. I recently found it and finally scheduled a 30-minutes CBD Massage for today. I was warmly greeted by Jordan and directed to Lance, the concierge. Lance showed me around the facility and outlined amenities that I could avail my self to before and after my massage. Nancy was my masseuse and did a fine job working on my problem areas. (I might book a 60-minutes session next time.) I wish I had more time to enjoy the facility. Upon check out, Jordan and Lance discovered that the person who bought my gift card actually used it for themselves. (I’m hoping that was a mistake since it had been some time that I was given the gift.) I was not held responsible and did not have to pay for the service I obviously believed would have been covered by the gift. They offered to contact the giver to try to remedy the situation. I was very appreciative of this consideration. The spa is lovely and I do plan to return; Jordan gave me an extra coupon for the mixup. Again, much appreciated.

What a wonderful pampered way to spend a cold rainy afternoon. From the greeting, to the robes and flip flops provided and the tasteful decorations everywhere I was impressed. I had my first deep tissue massage and Bill skillfully untangled knots and tension I never even knew I had. His consultation with me prior was essential because it helped me understand what I was in for and also the results after. I will be back. It has been over a year since my last visit to G20 Spa, but with the new space, I'm certain any of their "flaws" were taken care of. The professionalism and friendliness towards clients is felt from the moment you walk in as you are greeted with a smile from the moment you approach the desk to introduce yourself. Yes, I consider it expensive, but you get what you pay for and I am paying $45 for a blow out with no amenities whatsoever. I see Gareth and he's simply amazing! Yes, we chat, he thoroughly explains everything, not only will he constantly check in with you about the comfort of any product in your hair but if you want any beverages or anything else, etc. I've goes above and beyond. Justifying the costs is related to certain expectations which include the location, premium services and amenities, but most importantly, the constant smile and assurance & reassurance of one's needs. With parking not being a concern or stress at the new location, a visit to G20 Spa and Salon is exactly what I need after a week of reading and editing English papers. I highly recommend Gareth. His constant strive to learn, passion to find perfection and figure out what could have been done "better" and demeanor are traits people lack.

The moment you walk in you feel a sense of calm and by the time you reach the top floor it's like you've been whisked away to another realm. I had a facial and a massage this past weekend. Both service providers were excellent! However, there is no research from CDC that proves additional safety with usage of gloves for a massage. As a scientist, I understand the usage of gloves for a facial but having a massage with gloves was not pleasant. Gloves will not protect the provider if someone is exposed to Covid anyway! The other piece that I was not thrilled about is the company’s isolated discount to promote overnight stay at the Lenox hotel just M-F. For professionals like myself who are traveling from far, a mid-week appointment at the salon is close to impossible. G2O should look into their promotional opportunities to attract visitors who live outside of Boston such as the Cape.

I want to say first... the two services I received were 5 star... Alla (facial) and Brenda (swedish massage) were amazing professionals who made me feel right at home. But not a fan of the new location which is disappointing since I LOVED my experiences at Newbury Street. I walked in and was told to change and go to 1 of the 2 relaxation rooms (basically the spa lobby or a room with couches upstairs). The changing room only has 2 showers and 1 steam room which seemed odd for how many people were there. Went to use the salt room which I thought must be like the brine room at the previous location only to be kicked out since they had changed the experience to a paid service vs. an amenity (I had no idea!) and I hadn't booked a spot. They said the new complimentary amenities were the sauna and steam room... though honestly they were similar to that of my gym's services. The drinks were all in paper cups and you had to make the coffee yourself which again, was odd, but overall it was fine! Everything was fresh and clean and they have some AMAZING professionals on their staff so if I do need a massage or facial I would go back for that, I would just not expect the same experience and treatment as there was on Newbury Street. I would prefer a spa with more amenities and a more luxe environment for how much you spend on the services themselves.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this salon; and especially Darren Le. I've tried several salons and thought my cuts and color were "nice" but I still felt dull a short time later. The experience at G20 was exceptional from the moment I booked. The convenient, relatively inexpensive valet parking across the street at the Lenox was a great way to start, the reception was friendly and they provided a tour of their the salon, spa and amenities. My friend and I enjoyed coffee in front of the fire in the lounge while we waited. Darren cut and colored my hair. The cut was a drastic departure from what I had and he nailed it; and the color is EXACTLY what I wanted. In addition, he was mindful of my trying to maintain a painless transition between color touchups by choosing something that worked with my natural color. Darren is the difference between a technical cutter and a skilled artistic stylist. I'll not use anyone else. Needless to say, it was a great experience.

I always absolutely have the best experience at G2O and have been going for about 8 years! I love Dailin, my stylist and the service is always top notch! One strange thing that happened this time prior to my appointment is that I got a personal text from a girl who worked at the front desk asking to confirm my appointment for a hair color (I had a haircut the next day) and she asked if I wanted a hair cut as well (she could have seen I booked a hair cut) also asked me to move times. When I said I couldn’t meet earlier, the response was “it’s okay” I found the response off putting as if I was being an inconvenience when I booked the session a month ago and simply count meet earlier. Working in the customer service industry myself, the response should have been something like “no problem! See you at 1pm! Have a great day” I just found the whole text exchange unprofessional and a little off putting. And this was the first time this ever happened. Every other experience at G20 has been phenomenal!! I more wanted to let you know this happened. Thanks!

There were 4 of us in our group today. We had originally wanted 4 massages but only 3 were available at the same time so we opted for 3 massages and one body scrub. Booking a group of 4 was a little annoying because you had to book 'groups' through Megan who never answered her phone and therefore a game of phone tag was not enjoyed for a couple of days. They told us about all the amenities we could use but DIDNT tell us that the body scrub person couldn't use the hot tub after her service. We didn't want to get wet before our services and planned on utilizing the hot tub after. Well, she couldn't do that and it put a damper on our time together. All of our services were SUPERB, all massages and body scrub. However, the locker room was dirty, hair all over the floor, showers didn't drain, and dirty laundry cabinets for towels and robes was overflowing. Last but not least the girl at the checkout desk was rude. I asked her if there were any gratuity envelopes and she replied 'yeah, they're in the gratuity area.' Aaaaa, excuse me but if I've never been here before how am I supposed to know where that is? All in all, the next time I'm looking to spend about $600 for 4 services I'll double think my options.

My body needed every minute of that massage to release the tension building up over a stressful final law school semester and exams period. I got a massage from Jeff, and had several times before. Jeff is the best in the business and I do not want to go to anyone else. Jeff understands and adjusts for different body types, prior physical injuries and all aches and pains, and is careful to not cause any undue pain or stress, He is able to help work out knots and kinks very easily. He is timely, professional, respectful, considerate, and has a great memory. I had not been there in over a year, maybe longer, and he remembered me. The Brine Inhalation room is also very tranquil and I easily fell asleep in there looking at the waterfall, pretty soothing colors, and listening to the sounds of water. I have been going to for facials for decades. My go to salon closed its doors the end of 2016 and after panicking and much research I went for a consultation at G20 Spa. What a find. I was fortunate to see Rebeca, who is the best. (Although I'm sure the other estheticians are good.) I can't tell you the difference in my skin since I've been going to her. Not only do I have a facial but I have been indulging in the "non-surgical facelift" and what a difference. Not only are the services the best, but environment adds to the perfect experience. Once you are there for an appointment you can stay as long as you like and take advantage of a brine room, a steam room, a jacuzzi, relaxing lounges, and a rooftop to die for (when winter is over). Whenever you get a service, or buy a stand-alone amenities pass, the full range of amenities is open to you. I love the different experiences that each room gives you, from the hot tub to the brine inhalation room, to the fireside lounge. The whole 5 floor facility was clean, polished, upscale, and super comfortable. I got a pre-natal massage and Nicia did an amazing job. I will definitely be coming back as often as possible!

I've been a client of Tessa's since July. Her spirit and craft is superior to the competition of Neimans and other area retailers carrying Trish McEvoy. Once I felt this, I knew I should book more appointments for other services at G2O. I'm not particular about my hair but after trying a few by 'stylist shopping,' I connected best with Dalin and Michael Joseph. Also let this be known, I have had my hair done all over the world but I must admit the "new girl" Rose is by far the most amazing hair rinse/wash/massage professional I've ever come across. She wasn't timid or shy with her pressure which is rare to find. I could feel the tension release all the way down to my feet! Please share this review with her. The online booking is the only issue I have with G2O. I tried to book an appointment with Dalin for this Saturday and the confirmation email never sent and it wasn't in 'My Appointments.' This is frustrating because I had to call the automated system, listen to the menu, dial 1, and finally spoke to a human to ask for a last minute appointment with anyone available. I was told over the phone I would see Stylist X when I arrived I was told I would be seeing Stylist Y. This isn't a huge deal in the grand scheme of things but communication and ease are the factors that set the bar. I do not anticipate this happening in the furture but I wanted to mention it as a piece of constructive criticism. G2O's service and standards will always keep me coming back. There was G20 and their sister company, Emerge Day Spa which is where I saw Jeanine and Tricia for years. It is now just G20 and they moved to a new location. I was there 2-4 weeks ago and the Receptionist had mentioned the lounge area on the penthouse floor. I didn't realize how many floors they had or the wonderful options (for FREE, as long as you were already there for a service) which includes the Brine Room (a very cold room; set up with lounge chairs and you can wrap yourself into a blanket and robe; its beautiful set up with what looks like polar icecaps and running water), the hot tub and steam room. They were kind enough to give me a little tour of the place. Absolutely beautiful. The lounge area is a place you can sit, relax indoors or out on the patio. There's coffee, water and tea. I love this place and so thankful they have incredible people working for them!!!!! THANK YOU for providing me a small window of pampering, tranquility/peacefulness/heaven for an extremely busy single mom!!!

If you end up here I suggest going to the top floor and ordering lunch from the Cafeteria (local restaurant). You just tell G20 what you would like, they order it for you and the food is delivered to the top floor. In the meantime you can enjoy the hot tub or just sit on the rooftop overlooking Boston.
