Dr. John at Mountain West Medical, along with his entire staff, is amazing! I continue to use their services due to the high quality of care and attention they give their patients. They take the time to get to know you and help you decide what services are best for you based on your needs, and not just trying to sell you expensive treatments you would not benefit from. I have been a patient at Mount West Medical since Dr. John first opened his practice and I will continue to see him and his staff for all my med spa needs.

MWMS is top-notch! I did full body laser hair removal and from start to finish it was a great experience. I appreciated getting to meet with Stephanie (she's the best!), but also Doctor John took time to meet with me at my consult and answer any and all questions! I have been self conscious of my hair situation (legs and bikini line) my whole life and feel like I have gained so much from getting the treatments done. I hardly have any hair! Top tip: exfoliate your skin really well before going - yes, even your legs! I also had angry, raised c-section scarring and now my scar is almost invisible! MWMS takes care of their people and are so personable - call them today!

I’ve been following Mountain West Medical on instagram for close to a year now. Finally decided to book an appointment with Taylor for a free consultation and I’m so happy I did. Taylor explained everything in full detail and recommended we start with a mini lip. Wow what a beautiful difference!! I’m more than happy that I chose this procedure and can’t wait to book another appointment to try out some of the other wonderful skin treatments that Taylor recommended to me. I honestly never thought I would get Botox. The thought of it made me very nervous and I feared the worse. I choose to focus on wellness, clean eating, consistency in my skin care routine, red light therapy, and microneedling. These less invasive approaches have served me well and I have great skin as a result. However, after almost 33 years, the RBF was starting to affect my professional career and personal relationships. My goal was to soften those lines and change the muscle memory. I was clear that I wanted to maintain movement in my face and I was not interested the pursuit of expressionless look. Anyways, Dr. John put me completely at ease. He took time to answer my hard questions. He was honest, provided good explanations, and thorough education. Dr. John is incredible! I had to bring my 8 month old and my 5 year old with me to my appointment and not only did he not mind, but he was so great with my kids and had my baby laughing at him throughout the appointment. He was so patient and answered all of my questions, as well as explained everything he was doing as he went. It was clear that he wasn’t just trying to push product, and was super honest about what I needed, and didn’t need and my results show that! Oh he also numbs your lips completely when getting injections, not just the numbing cream. Lips normally HURT (ifykyk) to get done, but I didn’t feel a thing! He’s incredible. The front desk staff was also so friendly, and the receptionist for the dentist next door even gave my daughter a Frozen slap band as we were leaving. Overall such a fantastic experience and I will definitely be back!

Every second I was there I felt like I was at my rich friends parents house. Every room is welcoming with comfortable furniture among other things that made me feel like Kardashian. Everyone I have worked with was very nice and helped with any questions I had. Dr. John was like that cool dad, that would let you eat in your friends room when mom was away, but also super easy to talk to and very good at explaining the whole process from prepping weeks before surgery, to months after recovery. Daisy was like the sweet, responsible older sister that helped out a bunch along the way. Shes the kinda person that makes me want to pick up litter and go to church. Anyhoo I highly recommend Mountain West Med. The whole process was very comfortable, professional, and above all, easy!

Dr. John is SO knowledgeable. I’ve been struggling with migraines for over a year. With my limited knowledge, botox was my last step. He took the time to evaluate me and pointed me in the right direction. A doctor willing to do the RIGHT thing is what makes an AMAZING practice. Taylor did a full syringe of lip filler on me and was very informative and professional. She also administered 24 units of botox into my forehead as a trial run to help with headaches. Dr. John is the most respectful and knowledgeable nurse practitioner around. I’ve been going to him since he opened his practice and won’t go anywhere else! If I could give 10 stars I absolutely would!! The whole office is just so welcoming and everyone greets you with a smile. He and his assistants are always very careful and wear all PPE during these crazy COVID times and always make sure I feel safe and comfortable. He is the best in the west!! I'm a 53 year old male and had a hair transplant 20 years ago using the older strip method. I had a consult with Dr John and decided to go forward with the new procedure to fill in thinning areas on the top and hairline. The experience was %1000 times better than my first one, much less pain and down time. I got lip injections from Dr.John in December and he was great. Very informative, friendly, and did the whole process in about 10 minutes. About 10 days after my injections I had a weird swelling in my lip and I reached out and he responded right away instructing me on what to do (steroids and Zyrtec), and it was gone within 2 days and hasn’t returned. I will be coming back for sure! Highly recommend.

I went to see Dr. John because I had a few bumps on my legs that I was very self conscious about. While they were considered small, and others may not see an issue with them, they drove me crazy! Dr. John used a laser to remove the spots. It took about 5 minutes total! The pain was minimal! They are healing quickly and I cannot wait to feel confident in shorts and bathing suits again! This is a great practice in every way. The online scheduling actually works as it's supposed to. When you arrive, the support staff is friendly and attentive. The facility itself is spacious and modern. The provider listened and really understood what results I was looking for and then explained all the possible methods of achieving them, with their pros and cons. Imaging and hands on demonstration were both used to show me what might be accomplished. The cost was explained in a straightforward way, with no pressure to pick the most expensive treatment or to commit during that visit. My procedure itself was performed efficiently. The difference between going here and going to a medspa for cosmetic procedures is like the difference between an imported, hand-knit cashmere sweater and a scratchy synthetic one you grab for $15 at Walmart, but the price is comparable. I will definitely be back.
