This is an Upscale Hair Salon + Day Spa, in Pikesville, near Trader Joe's......one in a chain of about 4 other locations. Most of the hair stylists have been in the business for a long time and are experienced in both cut and color or creating specialty hair styles. The staff is very polite and helpful. There are other services too....like massage, facials, manicures, and pedicures. There are packages too to give as gifts for any occasion. I have been going to this location for 10 years and I love it !!❤❤

Birthday pampering for myself. This was my first visit but it will not be my last. I enjoyed my spa mani/pedi today. Anna was my technician and she was wonderful. Her attentiveness and expertise helped make my visit truly memorable. I would have enjoyed having hot towels wrapped around my legs with the masque rather than just to clean them off. Other than that, the experience was fantastic. My hands and feet look and feel great. I'm a happy client.

June 16, 2020: Post pandemic quarantine... I visit Olga after 10 months of not getting a haircut and color. She did a remarkable job on my highlights and low lights and everything in between. I received so many compliments from coworkers, passengers (work for an airline), and even from a hair stylist. Olga has been my go-to for four years now and won’t go to anyone else.

Kara is an awesome hairstylist. She really takes her time and listens to exactly what you're looking for. I've lived in Maryland for almost 7 years and I finally found a reasonably priced and great quality hair stylist. I have a short hair style so getting trims regularly is needed. The price is very reasonable for a cut and style. And I never feel like I'm pushed into paying more for other services. I'll keep going back to Kara at AF!

I visited this spa in Feb of 2017. I got a massage, facial, mani and pedicure. This was a great experience and a great gift from my bf. Everyone there was great and did a wonderful job. Melissa did my facial, she was as nice and as funny as can be. She answered all questions I have about skincare and did an EXCELLENT job. I would really recommend this spa to everyone. Great experience!

About Faces is my go to for pedicures but I won't be going on a Saturday anymore. I love my nail girl. She always has my wine ready to go when I get there, the polish never chips before the next visit and we have great chats. However Saturdays they moved her downstairs and it's just not the same as the upstairs room. For the money I expect the privacy and relaxing atmosphere of the upstairs. Not the loud chaos of that is the downstairs nail stations shoved next to the bathrooms. Once I was done my girl left me to dry and start on her manicure that was waiting which was fine she always does. But then another nail styles came over and kicked me out of my chair, I wasn't even done my wine. This would be OK if they had a better place for me to go then closer to all the hair dryers and styles shouting their conversation over them. Not a relaxing experience at all. Needless to say my next appointment I made sure I will be back up stairs.

My stylist, Kara, in the Pikesville location, is wonderful !! Her haircuts are precise + she really understands hair color too. She excels at hair blow-drys.....your hair will be perfect for a special event, a photograph, a special date, etc....!! And she's just as pleasant as can be! Can't say enough good things about her 😊

I have been a client here for over 5 years and can't imagine going anywhere else. Tina P. Has been my hair stylist the entire time and I get constant compliments on the specialized color she created for me so many years ago. Melissa is great for eyebrows and all of the staff in nail and body care are amazing. Get Bianca to wash your hair - it's a head massage all in! Overall, AF Pikesville is a true class act in the salon business!

Christy Lang is gave me a great manicure and pedicure. She is highly skilled and attentive. After five days, my nails still look wonderful. And the hand massage was heavenly:-)
