We had a duo of facial and massage late in the day. The very average massage was about 50 mins and not 60 mins as stated. The facial was nice but felt like she could have done more to fill the last 15 mins or so. A lot of the same motions, no extractions either. Music was way too loud too.

Illusions Day Spa is indeed a hidden gem in western NC! I know that Asheville has lots of options for every price range. However as a working wife and mom, I want the best service for the best price. And I found it. For the quality, high value, and personal touch, I received today, I truly recommend Illusions Day Spa. When I walked into the restored home, Freda greeted me like an old friend. The first floor was a cozy atmosphere. Freda listened to my concerns and made great recommendations for my nail services. I appreciated the time and energy she took to make an out of town visitor feel welcomed. Fyi- Based on her knowledge of the city, I have a new list of vacation ideas to compliment my spa day. My manicure and pedicure left my skin very smooth and gave my nails a classic but shimmering look. The pampering didn’t stop there. The massage services were upstairs, and the second floor was charming, quiet, and inviting. My massage therapist Josh was excellent! Those sore, tight, and tense muscles (courtesy of a car accident and those long days in front of the work computer) surrendered to Josh’s skillful hands and therapeutic techniques. Unfortunately I cannot give too many more details because I fell asleep. However I do know I awoke refreshed and so happy that I chose this spa over the others. When they asked how the massage was, I simply responded that I would be taking Josh back home with me. Although that didn’t happen, I left Illusions feeling like Anita before the long work days and the work-life balancing act. For that I am very grateful. Thanks Illusions Day Spa!

Booked 3 massages for a moms weekend refresh. Owner was extremely accommodating booking us. The energy was inviting, calm and relaxing. All the therapists were friendly and experienced. Everyone had an amazing massage. Will definitely book again next time we’re in Asheville.

My friend and I came and both got the spa package number 2. From the moment we came in we felt welcomed. Every staff member is very professional, nice, and courteous. The facial left our skin glowing, the massage was complete bliss, and I can honestly say it was the best pedicure I have ever received. Loved the experience and will definitely return again!

I was able to book a last minute spa package for myself and it was totally worth it. My massage, facial and mani/pedi were all amazing. My husband said I was glowing when he picked me up. All of the staff are super friendly and inviting. I felt so relaxed there, I will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I were able to get a same day couple's massage and it was amazing. The staff was warm and welcoming and generally wanted to make sure we left there feeling good, and even wanted us to have some continuing education about any body problems we had. Highly recommend!

I’ve had 3 treatments there so far. I have had a facial, lash extensions and a massage. My facial and lash extensions were with Alexia and she was incredible. My skin looked amazing with an immediate, noticeable difference and my lashes were beautiful and so natural looking. They also lasted for weeks! I was also happy to know that they use Extreme Lash which is the only medical grade products, so far superior than other places who use less expensive adhesives. I had an amazing massage with Josh! Having had massages in spas, cruise ships, beach cabanas, in other countries even, this was by far the best massage I have ever had. Highly recommend!

One of the best spas I have visited in Asheville. My husband and I try out a new spa each visit to Asheville. This is the best facial for the price I have experienced. For once I could really tell a difference in my skin. I did the Hollywood facial and I am older. It was excellent. My therapist was Alexia. She was fantastic and really really thorough. My husband had a message and was one of the best, Josh was his therapist. Fantastic experience and they offer a wide variety of services.

The Grove Park Inn recommended this spa to my husband. Courtney gave the most among massage and facial. Well worth it. I'll be back next time I'm in town. I have no idea what the other negative reviews are about. Ask for courtney- you will NOT be disappointed. Five Stars. Very reasonable prices too- Thank you!!
