I felt relaxed and comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. I am visiting from out of town and consider myself very lucky that I was able to book a massage the same day that I called as I am sure that is most often not the case. The robe was comfy, the locker room clean and convenient, the slippers fit my little feet. Tara was my massage therapist and was very friendly but not too talkative…she answered my questions but knew when to just let me relax. Just what I needed for today!

This is THE SPOT. 7 years ago I'd get a monthly massage from massage envy. Betty's day spa (no offense) puts massage envy to shame. You feel the relaxing/chill vibe upon entering Betty's Day Spa. Every worker is so kind and helpful, it just adds to that awesome feeling. This was my first time receiving a facial, and it was wonderful! Amy was spectacular, she has a calm presence to herself and it just made the whole experience great. I highly recommend anyone to come here and give yourself the very much needed spa day you deserve.

I got a gift certificate for ny birthday and booked a package for a massage, a facial, and the salt glow. Ny first impression of Betty's was that it was super nice inside! The girls up front were very friendly and showed me around. They gave me some very delicious tea as well! The locker room was very nice and clean. The first thing up was my massage. I had an hour with my therapist, I belive her name was Flora, but I could be misremembering. She was very sweet and calming. The massage was so great! I was so relaxed afterwards. All my stress was melted away. Next I went with Esmerelda for my facial and salt glow. She was very gentle with face and akin and informed me of every product she used and was super nice. My face felt so nourished after! She also did the salt glow and my skin was so soft after! She even gave me a sample of cleanser to try.

overall a great place. Just wish they would let you soak and sauna free with a massage, like they used to. Really a bummer they are so greedy they make you pay $30 (for 2 people) extra to use the facility, for only 30 minutes. And honestly the Hottub wasn't all that hot and the sauna was ok. Not likely to spend that extra $30 again.

It was an absolute delight visiting Betty's Bath & Day Spa. All of the ladies at the front desk were kind and welcoming and the facility is clean, friendly and calming - everything a spa should be. I originally reached out to Jackie to inquire about a donation to my local school's Sunshine Committee and, without hesitation, the team donated a facial to us. Our staff is so excited for a chance to win a relaxing day at the spa. I look forward to my next visit to return the support. Thank you for such a great experience!

It was nice my wife and I had got to use a gift certificate we received we had the hot tub all to our self for an hour. It was much needed. I wouldn't mind going back.

Thanks for a wonderful experience! Professional, attentive, great products, I feel a million times better. Driveway is a little dangerous, and locker room made me feel like I was back in high school, but the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and make up for any deficiencies. Can’t wait to come back!!

Trying to find a new hair stylist when you have curly hair can be intimidating. Aaliya did such an amazing job with my curls. She worked with a lot of attentiveness and care from the haircut to the wash and style. If you have curls and you need someone I highly recommend Desert Root, specifically Aaliya.

New to the state and found Betty's online based on reviews. The reviews were spot on. Beautiful spa, wonderful customer service and fabulous massage. We are still very cautious because of covid being an immunocompromised family but really wanted a massage for my birthday. I called fairly last minute and requested that the masseuse wear a mask. They were able to get me in and the masseuse wore a mask without complaint. The experience was delightful and my only complaint was they weren't available to accommodate a longer spa appointment but that was really my fault. Can't wait to come back for another treatment soon.

The experience designers and staff here have expertly crafted a relaxing atmosphere. I felt immediately peaceful and comfortable. I had an excellent massage that I would hold up against any that I've had at twice the price. I must also say the place was absolutely spotless and put together. If I lived in ABQ, this would be my regular place.

This place is great. I went in with my mom for my first facial and massage. My masseuse and esthetician talked me through everything and did such a great job. They even accommodated us even though we got our times mixed up. I will definitely be back and be recommending it to every person I know. I am now completely relaxed and I can’t thank y’all enough.

Betty's has been a favorite and special place to me since they first opened in 2000. The people are welcoming, the space is beyond beautiful, treatments have always surpassed expectations, and the soaks are sublime. My only suggestions from my recent visit earlier this week - It is very dark coming from inside to the ladies soaking area. Neither myself or my friend could see the bench, wall hooks, water dispenser or ground to walk on. It was discombobulating. Even a tiny string of subtle Christmas lights on the overhang would make a huge improvement. Or anything! The water dispenser is only about knee high and it was super awkward to stoop so low to fill a cup. I do not remember if it's been like that all along but hopefully Betty's will consider the addition of a higher table just for water and cups,, that are also not on the sitting bench. Mostly though,, Thank You Betty's for being here in Albuquerque! You continue to be a beautiful, healing, important element in our beloved city. Cheers *UPDATE, FEBRUARY 2023. Reservation only. No walk in. No communal soak available. Only private rentals.

This spa was so clean and cute and all the staff were so friendly and professional. There were zero down falls! Truly amazing and relaxing experience at Betty's Bath and Day Spa. The entire facility provided a serene and tranquil environment for its services. My 3hr pampering session started off with a 45 min. soak in their, private, hot tub/sauna area. From there a spent a few minutes sitting quietly in their spacious waiting area enjoying a cold water. I proceeded to my massage session which included a full body and scalp massage. The coconut oil they used for my scalp massage was a heavenly scent. Total release of tension, headaches, muscle aches and pain. I highly recommend Betty's you won't be disappointed. I look forward to going back again soon.

I’ve been going to Bettye’s about once a week for the past 6 weeks to soak in the hot tubs. The facility is very well kept and inviting. There is a sauna and cold shower outside that you can use along with the hot tub. They provide delicious herbal hot tea all day along with water that make the experience even more therapeutic. The locker room facility is stocked with clean towels yummy smelling lotion, shampoo and conditioner with body wash. There is also blow dryers available. The lockers have individual locks and keys securing your personal items. The staff has been very welcoming. I recommend scheduling a 45 min to hour soak and see for yourself!

I love Betty's so much! I've only been twice but both times I've felt like a whole new human after my massages. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who worked on me the first time but she was an absolute angel and so wonderful! I went again yesterday and had the pleasure of having Brie work on me. She did a full body deep tissue massage and I've never experienced anything like it. She was so kind and made sure the pressure she was applying was okay and adjusted it when I asked her to. They're also affordable and in such a great location but still manage to keep it secluded and relaxing. They provide an entire experience that words can't fully explain-you'll definitely have to experience it for yourself! I'd go every day if I could but for now I'll be making sure I go at least once a month. 11/10 recommend Betty's for all of their services. They truly go above and beyond to assure a magical and relaxing experience for everyone :)

I had a facial with Amy today and she did an amazing job. My skin is so happy right now. She was very professional and used quality products with a lot of massage on arms, neck, back and face. Amazing job! Then I had a one hour massage with Sierra and she used just the right amount of pressure for deep tissue massage. It was a wonderful experience for me and my two daughters. I will return every time I come back to Albuquerque.

I had a massage scheduled and the staff member did not show. The manager was beyond gracious with her compensation to us. They are such a classy business with high standards. Everyone should be going here to soak and get treatments. It is truly a santuary. Its when things go wrong when people/busienss show their true colors and Bettys shined, shined, shined.

This place is AMAZING. Hands down the best day spa I've ever been to. This was my first time here and the staff were courteous and the ambiance so relaxing. Loved the energy and aura. Beautiful and clean... the hot tub is a must before a treatment. I had the Gwen package with Alexis and she was an absolute superstar. The BEST massage I've ever had. I've enjoyed massage & soaking at Betty's for many years. Part of the "spa" experience for me has always been soaking in the women's hot tub, complimentary with massage. Not anymore. When asked why this amenity has been discontinued, staff cites "COVID protocol", which makes no sense considering that there are no federal or state mandates regarding outdoor activities (except social distancing) and Betty's doesn't even require proof of vaccination. It would be easy to socially distance and/or wear masks and/or limit capacity in the hot tub areas. Instead, Betty's now offers the amenity as a private experience... $25/30 min minimum--a bit steep considering that guests are already paying $100-$300+ for services. If hydrotherapy is truly "a cornerstone of the Betty’s experience," it should once again be included free of charge with services, or the cost of services should be reduced to reflect the change. 10,000 Waves will be my spa of choice in the future. **as of 1/16/22 complimentary access to the Grand Bath at 10,000 Waves remains available to anyone receiving massage or skin care services.**

You'll never know how good you have it locally until you try. I am the type of person that would plan a trip around visiting a resort specifically to book spa treatments and Betty's Bath & Day Spa did not disappoint. Not only was the staff extremely professional and genuine but the spa menu was exceptional especially taking and consideration the pandemic that we are living. The facility was very clean and presentable, there were additional measures in play to guarantee that the guest visiting would be safe in these very uncertain times that we are living in. I have found my new favorite local spa and I look forward to future treatments with Betty's Bath & Day Spa. There's really no need to risk traveling outside the state when this facility is more than up to par. If you've been here before you know what I'm talking about, if you haven't I encourage you to treat yourself you won't regret it and your body will thank you for it.

Absolutely amazing. Easy to find and so quaint. Once you pull into the narrow driveway and head back to the lot, they currently have someone outside checking you and and making sure you feel comfortable with the current COVID procedures. Inside, they have a beautiful lobby with items for purchase. I was offered water, hot/cold tea, and given a lovely weighted robe and sandals. I was shown the locker area, and changed, and there are lockers for you to place your belongings in. I noticed they have showers there as well, and everything was very today and clean. Once changed, I was directed to a comfortable waiting area to wait for my appointment, lovely music was playing and the atmosphere was lovely. While at the spa you are required to wear your mask. The masseuse took me to my room and guided me through the next steps. LOVELY HANDS! I felt comfortable in the room, soft music, a light fan and dimly lit. It was easy to feel comfortable and I was checked on periodically to make sure I was enjoying the pressure and how I was feeling. The 90 minutes when too fast! But oh so needed. Best spa I have been to in Albuquerque. Thank you and I cannot wait to come back again!

My sister and I went for a massage and facial. It was very clean. We both felt safe and protected during our entire visit. They have gone above and beyond to comply with the current COVID restrictions. Her massage therapist was Tommy, which she said was the best massage she’s ever received. Lana did my “mask relief facial” which was excellent. I would recommend this for anyone who wears a mask daily. If you are a health care worker who wears an N-95 for 12 hour shifts, then you NEED this facial! Betty’s provided us with great and friendly service. We will definitely be returning to Betty’s in the future.

Highly recommend. Phenomenal place. If you have not been here, you are missing out. The atmosphere is relaxing and calming. I've been going for over a year and have not had a bad experience. The employees are kind, respectful and go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. During covid the tubs are closed which is understandable. I felt comfortable with their safety measures and covid changes.

I had a great experience here after having an awful one at ABQ Baths. If you’re trying to decide between the two, trust me that Betty’s is far superior. The staff was courteous and helpful. The atmosphere was tasteful and calm. AND there is a women’s bath, and a coed bath. Personally, as a woman I prefer to not bathe with men so I really appreciated this. Some of the other guests were a bit loud and inconsiderate and I wished that the staff was more diligent in creating a hushed environment, but I had a great time anyway. I also love that with the women’s side available, you can sun bathe nude if you so choose. I will be back to try their services! The bath products are amazing as well!

The grounds are nice, the locker rooms and waiting area are comfortable and relaxing and I liked that they had their products available to try in the locker room and shower. I was able to try the body wash (unscented and scented), lotion, shampoo and conditioner. I liked most of them, which were for sale on site, at a reasonable price for the quality. When you check in you get a very comfy robe and rubber sandals, along with a key for a locker. To drink, they offered water with lemon, cold tea and hot tea. I was impressed with the hours they scheduled services. I was able to schedule a 90 minute deep tissue massage at 8pm on a Friday. Overall I liked the experience a lot but the massage was just ok and for some reason I expected it to be kind of fabulous. If I go back it will be to try the body treatments I think.

It was a little different that what i had experienced in the past, but it was affordable and they provided sandals, robes, and towels. The robes and towels were a $1 but if you brought your own they would take it off the total amount. It was a nice relaxing environment and you could sign up for massages and facials, spa services. We just went for a little while but it was totally worth it, and it they have private rooms if you want to book a party or event there.

My first visit to Betty's was for a pregnancy massage with Claire. The special table and accommodations for an 8 months pregnant mama made the whole experience so special and Comfortable. (It gets a capital C because it's a big deal!) Claire was amazing and helped me to totally relax. I will definitely be going back when I'm able to enjoy the baths as well!

I haven't been able to stop talking about this place. We went for our anniversary. It was a surprise to my boyfriend. First I want to say how amazing the staff is. When I called to reserve the room we were using, I mentioned that it was for anniversary. They never forgot this detail. When we arrived the staff was so sweet. We had never been there before and they walked us through the entire place. We even forgot what we needed to do next and they never showed us any frustration with our confusion. When we arrived in our room, the steam room section we reserved, there was a note just for us. We were so pleased with what we experienced that we are intending to go back more this year!

This evening I went to enjoy a massage with Andrew. He is professional, and detail oriented. I work out a lot at the gym and am a hair dresser- so my shoulders and neck were pretty tight. Andrew completely worked magic on my head neck and shoulders. I have had a lot of massages over the years and this one is in the top best- hands down. He did an epic job and even gave me some tips on stretches for my forearms. I have much gratitude for the experience I had this evening. 10/10 recommend

This is the best and most affordable day spa that I've ever been to in Albuquerque. They're located in a quaint area of the North Valley on Candelaria and have a wonderful atmosphere and scent the moment you walk through the doors. All of there therapist to include front desk staff seem to be very experienced. The services are very reasonably priced. The only thing I wish they offered was a steam room. I think it is a fantastic price and it is for the whole day, so really you could make it an all day event, soak, go out for lunch or a hike, then soak some more! The lobby area in the front sells all of theirs ands other local companies products. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. For being my first time to any spa, this definitely was an experience. I was gifted with their 60 min BLISSFULL package boy was it BLISSFULL. STEPHANIE was my massage tech and I must say she was AWESOME. With 10+years of experience, she knew what she was doing. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a wonderful experience. The deep tissue massage was great, they use their own blend of oils to really get the job done. I will definitely be back to Betty's Bath & Day Spa.

It was more crowded than I've seen it in a long time (7 other women) so if you don't want to be around too many people, perhaps a different time or day works better. Update 6/24/18 - Bettys Day spa called me about the above review and offered to give me an hour facials with another lady. I accepted and had my facial with Christina. It was absolutely fantastic. We (the wife and I) had the blissful massage. It's pretty much a full body massage for one hour. And let me tell you that hour goes by quick. The wife really enjoyed. The atmosphere was relaxing. Our only complaint was no wash cloths for use in the shower. The sauna was a bit small, especially, on a very busy Sunday morning. Now I would recommend take your toiletries. They do have soap and shampoo in the showers. And they do have hair dryer. The jacuzzi was awesome.

I LOVE Betty's!! When you walk in you are instantly at ease with the smell and ambiance of the place. Its relaxing, quite and best..Clean. I have been here on numerous occasions for different things. They have great soaking tubs with access to the sauna for only $10, they have great massage specialists with many promo's throughout the year. The esthetician really goes out of there way to explain skin care and techniques that will help your skin . They provide you with water, tea or they have refrigerated beverages for purchase. They provide you with a soft robe and slippers. The bathroom has lockers to keep your stuff safe and kept. The woman's bathroom is equipped with little things that make the difference such as hair ties, cotton swabs, lotion. The showers have shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Its a great place to visit. You can book/reserve the hot tubs for special nights. Be ware they do have all women and all men soaking tubs in the event bathing suites are not desired.

I would have loved to say that it was the very best spa experience I had ever had, and it might have been, were it not for the loss of a piece of jewelry that was very special to me. I had forgotten to remove my necklace before my massage, at which time my massage therapist asked me to remove it and hand it to her. I did so, and she place it on a glass shelf above a small chest. After my massage I was so relaxed I forgot to ask her for the necklace. I left her room to have a facial, which was extraordinary. By the time my facial was completed it was late evening and I was extremely relaxed and regretfully left the facility without my necklace. The necklace was an 18kt gold Temple St.Clair pendant on a Temple St. Clair 18kt chain. When I realized where I had left the necklace I called the Spa. The pendant on the chain was fount but the $1200.00 chain was missing. I am very unclear how the pendant could become separated from the chain on which it was hanging when I handed it to her, and very disappointed that the spa personal with whom I spoke were so unconcerned and have never made any attempt to locate it, or contact me about it, The necklace was a gift from a very dear friend who is terminally ill.

Betty's is a sanctuary from the bustle of daily life. I have noticed that every time I go, they have improved something. I have gotten treatments here which are exquisite, but the main reason I go is to soak. You can soak for an unlimited amount of time in the communal tub for a really affordable price. The Couples massage (90 minutes) was wonderful! The 30 minute foot pampering, and Fall Bliss (30 minute massage and 30 minute facial) was NOT worth the money. Hardly a massage, and technician was not relaxing or soothing (massage). Facial was just a glorified cleaning and moisturizing (no extractions). I did learn a lot about better skin care routines. Also, they blamed me for being late (I actually arrived 20 minutes before my appt, and they were calling for me at 12:50 in the locker room, insisting my appt was for 12:45, when it was actually for 1:00) . Don't argue with your clients, and don't rush me, when I'm trying to get relaxed before my appt. Half my massage was wasted, as I was stressed out from being rushed into the room.

I wasn’t impressed with the front desk customer service. 1.They did not smile or welcome me. 2. Didn’t show me where the Jacuzzi or sauna was, I had to ask. 3. There was a cooler outside by the Jacuzzi but I had no idea there was lemon water in there nor did I know if it belong to the Spa or some individual. 4. Jacuzzi smelled dirty nor did I see anyone come and check if there was enough Choline in there. Big RED flag! 5. I wasn’t sure what to do when my facial appointment came up. No one told me I had to wait in the waiting room in the back 3 to 5 minutes before appointment. 6. After my facial, the tech brought me to front desk to get some products, which she set on top of the front desk and I told her I was going back to the Spa for a bit but I’ll be back to please set the products on the front desk which she did. When I was done with the spa, took a shower and came out, my stuff was gone. Unfortunately, I had the last facial enzyme and now it’s gone so I wasn’t able to buy it, ugh! The front desk people came across like it was no biggie. I was upset and walked out not happy.

Thanks Betty's for a great B-day soak, massage, and facial. The soak that comes with the treatments is a standard, outdoor hot tub which, when we went at 9:30am, was not crowded at all and there is some xeriscape and a sauna. I suppose this is why the 4 stars, because I prefer hot spring spas and I did also prefer the Green Reed Spa's indoor soaking with a very lovely tiled spa and cucumbers for the eyes. For this experience at Betty's you might want to rent a private tub at the extra cost, (and ask for some cucumbers). The sports massage was 5 STAR! I really enjoyed it, and my boyfriend went with me and we had a couples’ massage in the same room. He also had a sports massage with a very good therapist. Both of the therapist knew reflexology and they did a lot of pressure point tension release. Highly recommended. Finally, the facial was done by Esmerelda and the spa uses Jurlique botanical products. They are of a very fine quality and the extracts are from the company’s farm in Adelaide Hills in South Australia which implements biodynamic agricultural practices for a pure product. To top it off, Betty’s has a great gift shop in the foyer when you walk in and there are so many great items like Karma patterned stainless steel water bottles, Papyrus cards and cosmetic cases, jewelry, lavender lip salve from Los Poblanos local farm nearby in Los Ranchos, NM, Himalayan salt rock lamps, and Jurlique facial products. I will come back by here to pick up gifts and products in the future, regardless of whether or not I have a spa appointment. Also great customer service. Be sure to book services about two weeks in advance. Thanks again!
