Nice place to do some shopping and get something to eat. They have a nice variety of stores and restaurants. My only complaint is the traffic is atrocious! People out west drive like maniacs. I prefer to visit this location while there aren't too many people out here which is difficult due to the location.

Olive Garden @ New Market: went for lunch, 15 minute wait(not bad) service was good, food was good, space was clean...prices a lot higher than last time I went to OG but to be expected in these times. Overall I give 5 stars!

Depends where you shop. Avoid Ross. Holy moly. Marshall's, Bath and Body Works, Bed Bath and Beyond, Old Navy, Hallmark, etc. I do all my shopping here!

I like New Market Square. They have great stores. It would be great if they would add a nice bookstore/coffee shop! If they would, I would give them 5 stars!! We have to drive to the east side to find a nice bookstore. And that takes up a lot of my time.

New market square is a great place to find a variety of stores. It's the largest "Outdoor Mall" on the west side of Wichita. This is where all of the major brands have decided to locate themselves - Target, Walmart, Old Navy, Best Buy, Hobby Lobby, and others. There are a few mom and pop stores squeezed into the smaller nooks and crannies, and I always enjoy those a little bit more. There are also several restaurants in which to sit down and grab a good bite to eat. It is very easy to make a whole day event out of this place. Just make sure to bring your wallet with lots of money. The only reason why I give this place three stars is because of the amount of traffic, the absence of good parking, and every time I go here it always seems like everybody's in a bad mood.

They have many stores, everything you'd want but the parking lots are insane. So many curbs and stops signs that no one pays attention to anyways. Shopping is good, driving is a tricky when most people are looking at their cells more or just in too much of a hurry.

I like the Splash Pool over in the middle of New Market Square.. there is little kids playing in the water looking like they were trying to keep out of the heat like I wish I could. I like to shopping in New Market Square, they have just about every place that you want to go in Wichita except for Sam's Wholesale Club but that's just down the road.. I also really like to play PokemonGo in all the different places that I could visit while in New Market Square. A short list is Wal-Mart, Chipotle, Starbucks just to name a few.

Bet on Best Buy. Last two larger purchases they happily price matched (once even an out of town store that was lower), so think now I'll just start here instead of running around. This last purchase, their delivery was quicker by several days to boot. Feel like I've been purchasing from BB for over 25 years; but sometimes from others for lower price. But BB seems helpful on price match vs. others acting like your pulling their teeth. Definitely a positive today.

New market square is a nice place but if your disabled and don't like to walk long distances it's hard on your legs a lot of great stores to see I actually was there looking at a cat at Petco ironically called Stevie but New market square excellent shopping friendly people

Every possible store you can want or need on one 'block'. Very convenient, ample parking. You could spend an entire day here, and still not make it into all the shops. Parking lot has always been clean and well maintained, traffic flow is acceptable.

Looking for that bedazzled feeling in your life??? Well...it was close. Whether you're new to the area or a long-time seasoned traveler, NewMarket Square will definitely set your horizons on high. It's such a classy and elegant area, designed for the uppity Wal-Mart fanatic that must get their daily fix. Yes, gentlemen with no sagging pants and ladies with dignified Coach bags. I'm not complaining, I'm just in total awe. When did Wal-Mart become so exclusive and refined? But to downplay the beautiful setting, you'll also find some upscaled boutiques that caters to a suburban city like Maize. Or, shall we rename it Amaized??? No other suburban town gives you that Hollywood in Kansas feel. Not downing Wichita, but I feel glamorous just saying the name "Maize." Say it with me ya'll, "Maize!" If by chance you are in that area and don't feel like you're somewhere novel, then click your heels honey and go to one of those eatery places that's located on 21st and Maize. With attractions from all over the world, you'll experience fine dining for exquisite tastes. You might return home broke, but it's worth almost every penny! Bon Appetit

If you subscribe to the lifestyle of American excessiveness, then you can't go wrong here. Has every shop imaginable for that keeping up with Jones' lifestyle. Personally, don't care about them Jones' folks, though I'm sure they're great people. Just not my type of people is all.

Lots of things to do. They've got restaurants, they've got a variety of clothing stores, from $13 for a whole outfit to $70 for a pair of pants. Nice place to visit with a group of friends and hang out. I have a lot of good memories here.

Easy to jump from one shop to another when shopping. Super great shopping Square to get everything you need. Shoes, clothing, accessories and some food. The pricing also ranges from affordable to luxurious and those in between. A lot of shops also had discounts and sales going on during the weekend. Highly recommend shopping here.

Well maintained and easy to walk around, but still almost everyone is driving. Since stores are big box stores, it is reasonable to drive. Wouldn't call it an outside mall like online does. It isn't easily walkable in that way.

Love this side of town...wish I could afford to live over here..and i probably could but im comfortable in my quiet little neighborhood out south. Anyways.. alpt.of these businesses are within a close quarters so you can either drive or walk depending on your condition, health wise. Usually pretty busy area so that speaks for itself. Shopping, food, adult activities, kids activities and just SOOOO much to explore.

New Market tried to be Bradley Fair but didn't quite succeed. Fewer high end shops and restaurants and less walkable. That said, definitely larger and more comprehensive. Lots of places to choose from in a very short distance from each other. Major con? Worst designed traffic in the city since Rock road. Lots of congestion and accident potential on 21st due to all the nasty left turns.

I'm probably not rating this antique mall high enough. I'm not a typical fan of these kinds of places. But I was impressed with the breadth of types of merchandise for sale here. The usual antique stuff, but also some new merchandise. Clothes, local honey, jewelry, furniture etc. There is an exceptional offering of buffet consoles in the very back right corner of the store. A fun place to treasure hunt.

Always love coming here. Service is usually great, I'd say this trip was no exception. The server did mix up my order. I was going to eat it, but the hubs said no, get what you ordered. Server looked back at his paper and realized that he did write down what I ordered, but accidentally typed it in wrong. He ended up reordering what I originally ordered and it came within probably 5 minutes and I was still eating my salad anyway! Because of the mix up, I got my meal for free AND the mozzarella sticks we ordered "took too long" (we did not complain about this, that is what the server said), so we got those for free too! 4 people for $60 and I feel like we got great food and good service! Mistakes happen, it's how the people treat you that really matters and our server was kind and apologetic when he realized he made a mistake!

Overall great atmosphere and plenty to eat in a small area whitch is a great thing. I went to Salty Sweeties, and overall it was a very nice desert restaurant. Felt professional and very well put together. If you've ever got a random sweet tooth I would recommend it.

Everything you could ever want or need in or around the square. It can get really busy, making traffic congested along North Maize road, but it comes with the territory. There’s a great selection of stores, and is a wonderful place to spend a day shopping with friends or family. There are plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops, and places to grab a bite to eat to help recharge or break up a long day of shopping and fun activities. There are also plenty of places to go for happy hour drinks 🍸 after a long day of work. To put it simply, the selection of things to do at any time in the day on any day of the week is very substantial and suitable for all ages. You can paint the day away, shop till you drop, dine at the most popular restaurants, paint pottery, and the list goes on. Everything you ever wanted or didn’t know you wanted before you can find at NewMarket Square. Go check it out and have some fun!!

Visited with my Lady Friend and it was my first time experience with shopping at that side of town. Purchased a few things at Bath & Body Works while she was getting her nails done at Tips n Toes. I felt like the employees were bothering me and asked too many questions about what I needed. Also there was an on duty Officer inside of the store and I said have a great day as I was leaving and he gave me no response. I felt like I was out of place the whole time, too rich of a central shopping square for my blood.

The person at the pharmacy was great as usual! She took care if me. When I did a little more shopping and checked out half if my groceries, which were holiday markdowns, rang up incorrectly. I then had to wait again at the customer service counter for a refund. A 20 minute shopping truck Ip turned into a 45 minute exhaustion trip.

New Market Square is a great shopping area and has many very good stores that can be useful from day to day including Walmart, Best Buy, Marshall’s, Target, and a lot of restaurants to go eat at. It can usually be pretty busy but I have never had too much trouble there. Usually the people there are pretty nice and welcoming and you can have a good time. Whether it is for something small or you are going on a shopping spree, New Market Square can be great, Thankyou.

We went shopping for a fish that I did not know we needed. ☺️ My son's fish died suddenly a few months ago and he decided it was time to give him remaining fish a companion. We shopped at Petco in New Market SQ. They have a great fish selection. My son's fish was only 36¢. It's a pretty little thing. We have purchased all his fish and supplies there and have had great luck with them. The one that died had lived longer than it was expected

The New Market Square shopping Center has a large variety of stores, and places to grab a quick bite or get coffee. But this area of town is always busy and crowded, you definitely have to pay attention to your surroundings while shopping here. I say that because people don't pay attention while their driving through the parking lots and/or they don't care, I'm not quite sure. I would recommend this shopping center to anyone and everyone.

On the whole, it's a very nice place with plenty to see and spend your money on. It gets very busy and can be a bear to deal with traffic occasionally but that's not the fault of the place, it's the people not paying attention and driving nutty. We've been here a few times and I'm sure we'll be back for... something 🙄. Even if it's just for ice cream, I'd be up for that🙋

For a chain Italian restaurant it's five stars. Pretty good, their wines are pretty good, if you're going here you probably got a gift card, lol, or not but just get anything on the menu I mean that, just get anything preferably something you've never had before and get you a bottle of their house wine you're going to have a great evening you're not going to be disappointed.

Christen provide excellent service for our table. She gets 5 stars. Normally I'd give Olive Garden 5 stars on food, but today only a 3. The salad was mainly large pieces of onion and red cabbage. Only 1 small slice of tomato, 1 black olive in a bowl meant to serve 4. The minestrone was mainly pasta very little vegetables. Disappointing today.

This is about Shoe Carnival......Overall a good store. I just wish they had more of a selection. Also a worker there kept following me around like i was gonna steal something which irritated me. I just wanted to go in and try on some shoes and not be bothered by them unless i needed something.

This is the high-end strip mall for the West side of Wichita... Most of the businesses are still there after the pandemic. Best Buy is rarely open. I go to target or Michaels or wherever. I would recommend.

This area stretches for a distance with many and various retailers occupying the area. The parking structure is huge so no need to think you won't find a spot. You can shop for groceries go to the bank get a latte, drop your pet off to be groomed, tan and relax, purchase wine for the evening, window shop for a Christmas gown, and finish up with purchasing outside decor for the neighbors to compliment you on.

I love New Market Square! It is so nice to be able to have so many shops so close together. There is adequate parking and it doesn't feel cramped. There are lots of entrances and a few with stop lights. My favorite shops are Miachel's, Target, Walmart and Children's Place.

Newmarket Square Olive Garden is probably the only place in Newmarket that I don't complain about. Service is always superb, food is always hot and tastes great, service is always amazing. There sometimes is a long wait, but that's because people feel the same way I do and honestly the food is always worth the wait to me at Olive Garden. Yum

Large strip mall essentially, its anchored on the south end by a Walmart super store and Best Buy at the north end. In between there's about half a mile of other shops and restaurants in the main strip with satellite shops and restaurants toward the street. You'll find most things you might be shopping for here.

Popular area, higher class income, variety of trendy boutiques and higher end quality of goods. Within a 3 block radius you can shop for groceries, next door buy the kids brand name shoes, sample wine, have brunch, treat yourself to pampering services, complete the garden with mulch, contemplating to add accessories for the gazebo, shop for sporting goods, schedule regular maintenance on the vehicles, pick up grandma's prescription, fill up the vehicle with gas and get the pay in the premiums for house and car insurance and decide what your taste buds desire for the evening.

I love this shopping center and especially Bath and Body Works! However today I visited Cocoa Dolce Chocolates and it was an extreme disappointment! Yikes! I love macarons but theirs were AWFUL, and I expected to smell chocolate or coffee or something that would relate to their name but instead I could only sense the aroma of bathroom cleanser. I don't recommend that you waste your time or money there. New Market has many other shops that do not disappoint!

The only thing I have to complain about at this place is that they never have enough soufflé's in the morning . But this morning the young man at the cash register was willing to let me purchase two of them ahead of time before they came out of the oven and bless his heart I appreciated that and then he gave me a pecan sticky bun on the house. So now I love Panera again.

This is a great place to go and it's not an inside MALL. Walmart was the original anchor store and it is still about the best one in this part of Kansas, and I have been to many. But there are so many great stores and shops from big box like WalMart and Best Buy to Pier 1 and Bed Bath and Beyond to local mom & pop shops for just about everything. Best part, you pull up to the store you want unlike Town West / East. Maybe you like the Town West experience, Great... but going to the one place you need and not walking though everything is pretty cool too. There is an occasional empty store there, but they don't stay empty long. It is a great place to shop and eat.

Newmarket Square has just about every business you could ask for whether it be speciality stores or the big chains like Walmart, Target, Menards, Best Buy, and so forth. I always stop at the Dillons Marketplace as they are always having unadvertised specials. Got a stainless steel 2 door refrigerator/freezer for $89. Their clothes are all on sale with an additional 60% off the sales price! Shirts for $4-$5 and shorts for $6-$8. Another store replaced broken screens on 2 new cell phones that friends of mine wanted to return with only 1 day to do so. And at a significantly lower rate than anywhere else. There are so many eating establishments that I can't accurately list them all. Traffic? For the number of stores that are available, and considering all the residential properties, I'm amazed how well everything flows! Now I lived in this area before any of these stores existed or very few did. I'll admit I liked it better then than now but hey; it's easy access from I235 or 96. It basically has everything one could want in one area.

The food in New Market Square is phenomenal. I was sad to see that we lost a few places like Granite City, but I have confidence we’ll get something even better in its place. While you’re there, make sure to drop by Homegrown Wichita. Best breakfast in Wichita for the same price as IHOP or Denny’s!

Easy shopping even my elderly mother shops here. We went to SALLY'S and Walmart. Ate lunch at Spangles, then I went to T-MOBILE. There are a lot of good stores to shop at and no running around the mall to get to the store you want. Much easier. Buffalo Wild Wings, Men's Warehouse, Yankee Candle, shoes, clothing, Best buy just to name a few. I forgot, a place I think is called THE WHITE DRESS; a wedding dress, tux type of store.

Outdoor shopping mall with tons of retail & dining options. Walmart & Target both anchor this retail marketplace. Traffic moves quickly around here, stay alert. Even across the street are more retail gaints. You should be able to find all your retail needs here in one area. Sam's club, QuikTrip, in many new dining options have recently been added to this vicinity. There was one red light located between Target and Lowe's, so please be mindful if trying to turn left across six lanes of road. Accidents are frequent so be on point.

Traffic is terrible, parking lots need special lots just for these giant pick-up trucks, tires sticking out the fenders, nearly thirty feet long, four doors long beds, tralier hitches sticking out the rear, giant brush guards on the front. Hope my visits are few and far between

This square is not the most organized. They have clothing at various price ranges, Bed Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, Michaels, Walmart, and various other stores. The biggest thing I don't like is that it isn't conducive to walking between stores. It is awkward to walk and really meant to just park in front of the store you are visiting. If you don't know where the store is already it can also be hard to find and may require some navigating through multiple parking lots. That being said, it has the only Marshalls in town and does have some of the better shopping on the west side of town.

One of the best places to shop in Wichita. The buildings are well maintained and the properties always look nice. Everything is laid out nicely making it easy to navigate from one section to the next. There is plenty of parking and multiple access points from 21st Street. My biggest complaint is that when Borders Books went out of business, the developers allowed Marshall's take over the space. Overall the quality of stores seemed to drop a bit. NewMarket was never in the same league as Bradley Fair, but adding Marshall's was a big step in the wrong direction.

I had been shopping with my daughter at Carter's on Thursday. Sunday I realized I'd lost my wallet! Since the last place I'd used it was af Carter's, I called and somebody had turned it in. I went to get it, and was relieved to find ALL of my cash was still there, along with all of my CCs and drivers license. We bopped around New Market Square and bought phones at Best Buy [go see Duane!], then went to visit the pros at Verizon [Military Discount can only be done at Verizon], then past Walmart to pick up groceries [shopped for us], and buzzed into Starbucks for a Latte and Matcha. We keep coming back to the best selection of stores in town. We have Hobby Lobby now. Oh yeah, I went to Lowe's for dimmable light bulbs. That's the most helpful Lowe's in town imo. However if you ask all the residents here what it lacks they'll all say sephora and Victoria secret, town west mall is a dump, take the stores outta there and bring to NMS town west should be turned into another homeless shelter, or indoor entertainment plaza.
