A good example of a mall. Its not too big, meaning you don’t need to walk much and its very dense. The whole place has a nice aesthetic and shops, the only downside I experienced was general filth in some areas. Disgusting bathrooms. Just hold it in and go elsewhere.

Took my kids to The Arcade and they had a great time.We felt so welcome & the guy I believe he is the owner or the manager he was a wonderful , respectful,caring extremely understanding. He explained everything to us the easiest way we could understand. We was 100% satisfied & my kids had a huge smile , The guy that was there was extremely generous. Especially for my birthday boy. Thank you for a wonderful Time at this arcade. 👍

Leased A Christmas pop up personalized ornament stand for decades. They cost too much to be there but they do have a good traffic flow. The new ornament stand are charging $19.99 for an ornament while at the Wyoming Valley Mall same ornaments are $11.99

A well maintained epicenter for shopping. This mall is the only fully occupied mall in the Scranton region with supporting mini malls throughout the surrounding roads. You would have to travel 40-60 minutes to Wilkes-Barre or the Poconos to match the shopping experience here in Dickson City, PA.

Shopping and some snacks were on the agenda. Great place to get Christmas shopping done. Was somewhat busy with lots of sales going on throughout the mall. Santa is set up in the middle of the mall for family pictures.

This mall is huge, especially for being one floor. Alot of the major stores are here such as Macy's, JCPenney's, and Forever 21 to name a few. The mall is clean and orderly.

The Viewmont Mall has been the most successful indoor mall in Northeast Pennsylvania. While others have been either closed or repurposed, Viewmont has been lucky with attracting and maintaining tenants. There is plenty of parking available and around 90 percent of the mall is filled at the time of this review. It is a single floor, and anchor stores include Macy’s, JCPenney, and Dick’s Sporting Goods (temporarily closed to remodel as Dick’s House of Sports as of March 2023). You will also find your mall regulars such as Spencer’s, Ulta Beauty, Forever 21, and Old Navy. HomeGoods is also attached but is only accessible via outside entrances. Viewmont’s food court is small but ample. Places to get food include a pizza joint, Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, a Chinese takeout, and Buffalo Wild Wings. There is also an arcade that just moved into that space and Applebee’s is towards the middle of the mall. Overall it is what you would expect from a mall. It’s right off of I 81 making it convenient for motorists/travelers.

This is the only actual mall left in the Valley. Packed with stores and little shops and stands through the middle of the mall. It's nice to see a mall that's not a ghost town, Viewmont is alive with people and has both new stores and stores that have been there for years. Great variety of places to shop.

Very nice little mall, most if not all the stores are filled, you can tell this is a thriving mall. Has a really nice forever 21 (with guy section) there are a lot of nice stores in here. Surprised to see a a Macy's and a jcpennys in here and they are pretty nice. Mall looks very up to date. There is an Applebees and a buffalo wild wings and a couple more places to eat in. Check it out only about an hour away from Bloomsburg.

First time wearing Pergressive lenses, the first pair were hard to get used too. Then I got a new pair a year later. WOW!! When they're done correctly you can see near and far!! Best pair of glasses ever!! I'm 63 years old, have worn a few pair of glasses. Thanks to the entire team, optometrist and the folks in the fitting area!! Thank you!

They need motor electric carts for people with disabilities to get around in. The mall is very long. To walk. Many of us can't get a electric power cart to get as they cost thousands of dollars. You have carts for kid to get pushed in. Time to think about disabled people. Here too. I was in extreme pain by the time and going slow and trying to find a place to sit to take a break and rest for my disability.and others as well. And sign stating for that use only. Not for kids joy ride around with them. That not fair. So please take this into consideration..thank you

Malls have changed a lot in the past and I hadn’t been here in a while; I wasn’t sure what to expect. The stores are still nice and clean, the mall has a fresh look, and people are still shopping. Some areas of the parking lot could use some work but other than that it’s a decent place to shop.

Officially one of the best malls in the area. The Steamtown mall barely has any stores in it and the Wyoming Valley Mall is slowly following the same trend. This is the ‘fullest’ mall around.

The place was kept clean during black Friday but I say Bed & Bath looked the busiest. No Santa and a sad display and the cut in line advertise sign gotta go. That's just plain wrong.

My favorite part about Viewmont Mall is getting my nails done it's not that long of a wait it's a quick process if you're getting a regular fill make sure they only charge you the most $40 the least 35 or 30 they like to rip people off that are new at times but that's for all nail places the food is good it's great it's fresh it smells good and I believe it's getting better over the years more people so yes better!

Great exercise and shopping experience for all of NEPA entail when you walk in the doors of viewmont mall. Great dining and deserts for everyone as well. Such a wonderful friendly atmosphere you may not want to leave for a long time the store selection makes it one of the best malls I've ever seen.

Mall was good but pretzel place auntie Anns was awful. Order ONE bucket of pretzel pieces and woman said 20-25 minutes. I say okay. Asked if I need a ticket she said no they will call me. Okay I sat in good court right near the place. No one called me. And they never offer the drinks that goes with it. Finally 45 minutes go by they changed girls and I go up and ask about the order. The woman grabbed a bucket and tossed the pretzels that were in it out and took some from case. NO ONE Called me. The woman said did you get your drinks I said NO. It might take an hour to get them. It was absolutely awful. Ruined the whole visit there.

Great, clean mall to get all your shopping done in one place. Bathrooms were very clean and did not have a disgusting smell . Needed to stop for a quick lunch and best restaurant there has to be the Chinese. The only Chinese restaurant in the food court prepares there fresh food so fast and friendly

I love The Viewmont Mall because you can do a lot there, you can shop, play and eat there also. I am here everyday with my mom because we love the stores there also. If you have a family, this is a great place to visit. They have stores for everyone, also you can get good exercise here walking.

This is my new local mall. This is a big difference from my old local mall(KOP), but nevertheless this is a good mall. I gave it 4 stars only because it lacks a lot of stores that I normally shop at. For example, Superdry, Spider, or Northface is not in this mall, but that’s what online shopping is for. Besides that, I like the mall. It’s very clean, and looks nice inside and out.

Nice mall, stores were busy as it was less than 10 days before Christmas. There was a band playing near the food court festive music. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the traffic flow for the parking lot is horrible.

The viewmont shopping mall is amazing!! If you can dream it they have it in droves, they have baseball cards, playing cards, chicken, turkey, pizza, new York style Pizza, vegan friendly lo mein, reptiles, Reuben hoagies, cheeseburgers, turkey, they have fast food and diner food, fashion, hot sauce, Stromboli, clams, sneakers, garlic bread sandwich bread, Italian restaurant, bagels, coffee, pretzels, French fries, ham burgers, the occasional food Truck, and all so close to an imax movie theater! Next to a Mexican restaurant, close to frozen yogurt shop, all of your camping and bicycle shopping needs met, Good Instagram picture opportunities too, only thing that could make it better is if there was a gym or a football field or a go-kart track or a nature preserve inside, it's mentally healing for me to come here much like a spa...

Great selection of books for those who still enjoy the tactile experience of turning pages. Huge selection for fans of all genre. Also huge selection of board games also similarly diverse. One cannot go wrong stopping here. This was my first visit & I was astonished by the selection of products.

Such an awesome outdoor walkable experience with so much packed into a lil area. Absolutely wonderful layout. Clean. Easy to drive and plenty of close parking. Probably not ideal in bad weather tho unless you can park up front.

It's not a terrible mall, but at least it has the majority of its stores unlike the Steamtown mall. The food course is nice to pick up food quickly, and they've done some great renovations. Field and stream really improved the look of the mall.

We don't "Mall" to often but as Dicks/Field and Stream is attached, we did a quick review. With JC Penny's and Macy's also in the Viewmont Mall it took care of clothing needs I might have all in one (large) location. Clean, diverse; all the sales staff we encountered were pleasant. Near the Mall, there are many other retailers which make the location worth going to.

Very nice place to shop. There is a wide variety of stores including two large sporting goods stores that seem to draw a large crowd. The food court is a little on the smaller side, but decent enough that you can fill up on. Typical of most malls but I tend to always go to this one first as they always have everything I want / need.

I haven't been to a mall in about 6 years. Then I decide to go on December 23rd! It actually wasn't that bad. In and out in 10 minutes. Still seemed very busy. Stores seemed filled and clean. Good to see sole retail still successful

I like how they have a decent variety of stores in one mall, and have decent prices and it is clean including the restrooms are very clean and it is nice to be able to stay shopping for a couple hours and not have to leave to use a restroom somewhere else. I would give 5 stars but I think they should get a store for kids clothes like the children's place, but besides that it is a great mall.

Talk about a turnaround. This mall went from zero to hero in no time at all. The inclusion of Home Goods was like finding gold in the hills. Then add in all the sporting goods stores (I think two is plenty), and you have a really compelling destination. Nice work, now how to get people inside the mall...

The stores that are there is large with lots of selections.i Don't wear plus size but it was nice to see a large selection in the stores of plus size clothing. Would return.

An open and inviting mall with friendly staff. We came here to buy mall gift cards for Christmas gifts, and lucky timing. Santa was visiting! We didn't get any pictures, but it was very nice of him to spend a special moment with my daughter. It made her day.

I looked all over for an inexpensive bike for my grandson and didn't check here til last. I found just the right bike in no time and it's fully assembled! The gentleman who runs the department is very patient and well educated on the topic. I would give them 5 stars but the other goods are pretty expensive.

This mall is located just a short drive from downtown Scranton, and it's packed with many popular stores. It doesn't give you the feeling you get from many malls today, where you feel like stores can't wait to get out of there. I went here recently for the first time and the mall was bustling, the stores were busy, there were radio stations doing live giveaways, and it really felt good to see a mall like that.

We eat at the diner frequently. Usually we have a great experience. The food and service are usually wonderful. Tonight, because we chose to sit at a table that happened been cleaned yet, the hostess got really pisses out and gave us "huge attitude". I tried to talk to get as we left and she totally ignored me. I'm not happy about tonight's experience.

One of the better malls in the area, though it really doesn't touch what Wilkes Barre has in terms of shopping. Far better than the Steam town mall as this one pretty much has all of its store fronts filled up where as Steam town is, well... Empty. Security on site and they usually leave you alone unless your causing a scene. Ample parking and relatively safe, though there was a shooting in the parking lot a few weeks back.

I went shopping there with my family last weekend and we had a great time purchasing at many stores. We are from out of town and it wasn’t until 2 days later that we discovered we had left a bag somewhere in the mall. Several calls later and an email, the lost bag was found! Unbelievable! This mall is a fun mall. They have so many wonderful places to go including a wonderful shop that is nothing but northeast PA vendors Crafters. And it's not always the same vendors is it seems to change off and on. It's a great little store to buy gifts for someone and know that you're helping out some small entrepreneur. Also has great major stores and restaurant in the mall and externally.

Glad to see new stores being added. I was sad when aeropostale moved out of the mall but glad that when I stopped it had returned. Very clean mall both inside and out. Food court has down sized alot over the years which is disappointing but understandable with all the area restaurants. They even have an adventure zone place which was awesome to see.

Decent place to shop. Had a variety of stores including Spencer's Gifts which closed at the Steamtown Mall so it's cool this mall has it. Has a decent food court. Chinese food, Pizza, and Dairy Queen. They also have a Buffalo Wild Wings connected to the mall. Stores prices range from inexpensive to mildly expensive ( jewelry store, shoe store). Overall I would recommend visiting!

I don't get how people really find this mall enjoyable. Maybe it's because I am a city girl, I have high expectations of malls. This one doesn't have the best spots to shop at. They're definitely lacking in the men's department. I prefer malls with lots of stores worth shopping at. Not just cheap stores with cheap clothing. People in the stores are friendly. The food court is pretty limited also.

The Viewmont Mall came into existence when I was a very small child. Through those very many years, it has had its ups, and it's had its downs. It now seems to be on an upswing. Some great new stores, a better layout, still plenty of good parking - definitely a place to start going again.

Went to Macy's, good for people that live in the area, be extremely careful driving through the parking areas as their are numerous entry and exits and vehicles co.ing from many different directions. Safety can also be an issue at night.

Still offers a robust mall shopping experience. It will get insanely crowded during the holidays. The food court isn't what it once was. It is clean and modern with less riff raff compared to the mall up the road in Scranton.

The food court has limited choices (Chinese, pizza and pasta). There’s enough of your brand stores to get your shopping in, from Macy’s to JCPenney, Aeropostale, Ulta, Bath & Body Works, Claire’s. It’s nice that they have seating areas for when you just need to take a pause. I went on the Saturday before Christmas and even then the crowd was not too bad.

Moving up to Northeastern Pennsylvania it's a lot you miss when moving from the big city Philadelphia PA. But visiting Scranton and being able to go to Viewmont Mall felt like home without the worry of violence and other negativity. There was so many amazing people and such a diverse mixture all over the mall. There was so many awesome stores to see and be able to visit to shop in and enjoy all of the unique advantages of the mall. I would never forget my experience of going to this mall and I hope that I am fortunate enough to move to Scranton soon where I will only be roughly seven to nine minutes away driving from this amazing Mall. I highly recommend anyone in the area to visit this Great Mall.

Went to Field and Stream great Store. Highly recommend it. If you hunt or fish it's a great store for guns, archery, fly fishermen, regular fisherman and just people who plain old shoot or like guns or carry guns.

The viewmont mall seems to always be expanding and always busy. Good stores and not a bad food court. The newest edition to the mall is really nice, now you don't have to go to gander mountain when Field and Stream are attached to Dick's sporting goods. They also opened up Home Goods which has alot of nice decorations for the house.

I like to pop in every once and a while just to kill some time. For me it's the only semi local mall that isn't dying like the rest up north of this area where I'm from. Couple different eateries like Orange Julius and Dairy Queen inside. What I like is the most premium retailer here is express . Which I still consider to he expensive. Especially for the area. Otherwise it's pretty affordable and not clothes tax in PA!

I've shopped here multiple times & the last time was pretty bad. The people who worked there were extremely rude. None helped & I wouldn't even ask for their help cause they acted like my mother & me were pests. Which just put me in a terrible mood & I felt like I had to get out as soon as possible. The only person there who was super polite & sweet was the man who checked us out. I wish I knew his name. I would've given it lower stars but this man was awesome. He had long, black braided hair.

This is certainly better than the Wyoming Valley Mall! When you shop here or when you eat here, you will feel like you are among people that know something unlike that dying mall in Wilkes-Barre. Drive to this mall. And around it are loads of other stores and restaurants. This is Dickson City/Scranton heading towards Clarks Summit. You will find great lodging around this mall, too, if you're passing through or are on business.

Big shopping center, I would call a mall. Lots of store in the center like macy, jcPenny,home decor, clothing stores, jewelry, jeans, T.j Maxx,Joe Ann etc. You need anything, go to the Viewmont mall and you will find everything you need.

Excellent mall. It's relatively safe, newer renovations, and name brand stores. This area is lucky to have.

This is probably the best mall in the Scranton/Dickson City area. It has plenty of stores and is busy, most of the time. Unlike the Steamtown Mall which is mostly dead.

Everything is here. From shoes to video stores to hair salons, this is the go-to place to get your binge shopping on. Sadly, Sears is now officially closed, but new stores are taking its place.
