Majestic and beautiful! The stunning design of this building creates a surreal cathedral-like atmosphere which feels almost heavenly and other worldly. Linked directly to the subway and right across the street from the 911 Museum and memorial. It’s a shopping mall like no other you will have ever experienced. Highly recommended for your visit to NYC and the 911 Museum.

The Oculus is an incredible place! We stopped by during a trip to NYC, and the Oculus was amazing. The Oculus serves as a transportation hub for the subway system, so you can get here easily. It is right next to the One World Trade Center as well. There are many beautiful shops and restaurants inside as well. This is definitely a must-visit when in NYC!

Pretty mall but with expensive stores. This is the kind of mall you walk around just for the experience unless you shop at expensive stores but they have really beautiful decorations if you come during the Christmas time. It also looks great for Instagram pictures. The mall also includes the PATH trains and regular trains. I would recommend going to this mall just for the experience.

First time in New York City. First visit to this construction and I literally fall in love with this building … love at first sight. All new. So impressive. So different of everything else. But still fits perfectly. Massive impression and so delicate at the same time… amazing way to remember. It s also a huge mall with a lot of shop and access to metro. The view from inside also worse it. I totally recommend to pay a visit to this amazing construction. Next to the 9/11 memorial.

Heart of the financial district as it is a transport hub, a shopping area, restaurants and a large central space with benches to sit on. The construction took 12 years and was inaugurated in 2016. It required an investment of 4 billion dollars. Resulting in the most expensive train station in the world and the third largest transportation hub in New York, after Grand Central and Penn Station. A work of modern art.

When I arrived here I honestly thought that it was a museum of some kind. As soon as you walk in the doors and you discover a modern underground world, you're on your way to a shopping experience like no other. Sure there was a bit of stairs to climb, but where is there not in NYC. Incredible design and aesthetics!

It is a stunning shopping center. Traveling is convenient. Simply exit the station and enter the mall. It also practical to travel to surrounding locations like one world trade center,9/11memorial as well.

A great looking modern mall that is unlike anything else but the shopping experience can leave a lot to be desired. It feels like the stores are mostly things you can find anywhere else. So go for the look of the mall but not sure if it’s worth going for the mall shopping experience

The oculus is a huge center where you can find almost everything you need! Its a connecting station to fulton with in 2-3 mins walk. Brookfield place is also connected with oculus. If you come in the middle you will find the biggest apple store and many different brands, it also have small stands of chocolates, flowers and accessories. I like the most is the instrumental music they play every morning, just soothing. It is bright and shiny. The place is clean and also the restrooms are very well maintained. Restrooms are closed after 10 so make sure you don’t do mistake of running to wtc after 10 in hope😝. Path station is also connected from oculus, so trains to jersey city are easy to get runs every 10-15 mins and also take 10-11 mins to reach JSQ. This is almost it about oculus there must be more but yah, very cool and also it is a major VISITORS SPOT.

Beautiful this time of year! It's amazing when you think of Grand Central Station, Union Station and others how architects can create a modern version of these. From the two story Apple store to connections to many rail and subways and fun shopping, a great beautiful place.

If you like to watch science fiction films and are impressed with futuristic architecture, the Oculus Center is the one place that you shouldn't miss. The day I visited, I felt that I was transported into the future. Calatrava, the Spanish architect who designed this place has built similar buildings in the past, but they were mostly used as museums and exhibition spaces. While similar in design, the purpose of the Oculus is completely different from that of previous buildings by the same architect. This is very much a building that constantly and continuously caters to large crowds. The Oculus is a transport hub that connects no less than 12 subway lines and a suburban railway and a large shopping mall. Compare it to the equally impressive Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (City of Arts and Sciences) in Valencia, Spain. While the crowds going through the Oculus pass through daily on their way to work, those visiting the City of Arts in Spain are more likely to visit it just once.

Awesome view inside and out. The mall has great design architecture and beautiful interiors. You can see most of the branded stores to shop from. We went during christmas and vibes were fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed the view walking around the mall.

Architectural Marvel in the heart of Manhattan designed by legendary architect Mr. Calatrava one of todays modern times architect this structure is absolutely stunning. I could spend the entire day admiring its curves, angles and smooth lines. A structure that hugs you, surrounds you and as busy as it can get it still breathes some sort of inner peace inside out. Totally recommended for you to walk around, spend some time and admire the art behind it.

What a cool center this is. Whoever designed this did a fantastic job with it. The subways go into this center and the location is very nice. Right at the world trade center is very convienent. The selection of stores isn't huge but there are some handy ones here such as Walgreen's. It's a very, very clean center, feels very safe and nice and cool when escaping the heat of the hot summer. Highly recommend checking out this architectural masterpiece. 5/5. Follow me for more reviews, pictures & tips.

If you’re wandering around lower Manhattan as a local or tourist, you could do worse than stroll through the hyperlit bones of the Oculus. It’s one of those spaces made for social media and works as “that” backdrop, even as you reflect on the fact that you’re sort of just in a super glossy and highly polished exclusive mall. If you’re looking for some convenient high-powered shopping or on your way to the observatory at the World Trade Center, why not? Having been here a few times, I’d only say that it was more lively and felt easier when the restaurants were active and open…I predict the place will come to life more again when the full spate of amenities returns post-Covid.

If you’re looking for real-life fan fiction, look no further than the Oculus Center. If a robot war starts, this is for sure the location to be when the one-and-only, long-forgotten OC Transformer revs to life and begins saving the day. A photo journalist’s dream lies in wait upon entering the belly of the Autobot. Not only will you have every picture-perfect angle covered upon entry, but you will also be protected from whatever nonsense the Decepticons are up to, in what appears to be Oculus’s protective outer shell and deep cover. The only way this could get better is if there was a slide or three. Go. Enjoy. Escape reality, live to fight another day, and always remember, Never Give Up.

The oculus center is a architectural marvel. Once you gaze upon it, it looks like dove’s open wings. The architecture is massive and it’s a piece of modern art. Inside the architecture, is a mall that runs underground. They have some decent amount of high end stores and few small restaurants. It’s very clean inside, and the staff maintains the space well.

Yes the building is incredible but the design of people movement is poor. When you come in from the street from the Freedom Tower, the elevator does not go down to the bottom floor. No escalators go down. You have to go around the entire side to the other end just to get down. C'mon. And it's really just a big shopping mall.

Located next to the Freedom Tower and 9/11 Museum, this shopping mall/subway hub is an Architectural marvel. Once you enter from either end, you can to witness the massive oculus view, spreading across hundreds of feet. The shops are located in 1st and 2nd floors. There are many luxurious brands, including an Apple store. I like to visit this place for it’s architectural appeal and shear size of the place. This is also a subway station, connection many of the lines that stop at Fulton St station.

The Oculus Center houses the World Trade Center transportation hub located at 50 Church Street, New York, NY, across the street from the Freedom Tower, World Trade Tower 1. It’s has 5 tracks and 4 platforms. It has 12 subway lines and the Port Authority Trans-Hudson PATH commuter trains to New Jersey. It also connects to the Battery Park City Ferry Terminal. It’s an amazing place for tourists since it has many stores and restaurants and connects to the Brookfield Place.

As an architect myself, this is a master piece that every architect needs to visit. I have studied this building, but visiting it is a phenomenal experience. This is my first visit to one of Calatravas' projects. I visited during the holiday so there weren't any open shops or cafes. Also, all of the restrooms are closed.
