I have to say it's been a bit since we have been here but I love the changes. The buildings look great with the paint job and the addition of bars and breweries in that little park area is nice. The big screen outside is great for watching events.

Great area to take the whole family! Perfect view of Cincinnati looking north and an excellent aquarium on site. The grilled cheese restaurant is a must for cheese lovers and the sweets shop is a go to for people of all ages! Nice place to take the whole family on a mini vacation, or a great place to take your sanificant other on a night out. Movie theater and upscale restaurants on site make for a perfect setting. Parking garage and public restrooms are both clean and secure. A must see if in the area!

We loved this place. So much to see for all ages, from young to old. The shark tunnel walk through and rope bridge is our family's favorite. Get tickets ahead online as you are assigned a specific time. You can't get in early and you may wait hours-outside-before getting in. If it's cold or stormy that day, plan accordingly as you will be standing outside from 30-60 minutes.

New port, new buildings, new restaurants… and so much more. Aquarium, movies, waterfront and restaurants plus an outdoor screen for your favorite game or show. This place is a must visit. Love what they did here.

It was a great mall but there's not enough stores available to shop. It's in a great location by the river and had a river bridge and next to the Newport Aquarium. They even had valet parking.

We visited the Newport Aquarium on a Sunday and the crowd wasn't too bad at all. The place is really cool for children up to high school age probably. There are definitely a lot of different types of fish there to look at know doubt. From sea horses to manta rays to octopuses to sharks to alligators. They have just about everything you can think of. Admission is fairly reasonable, but everything else is ridiculously priced. From $4 bottle sodas to $15 trinket Keychains to $7.50 taco . So the moral to this story is to simply eat before you go and have an some time folks. Enjoy 😉

Very clean atmosphere . I love that the levee supports small businesses . I’m an artist and small business owner . I was glad I came . They definitely support art and have a ton of original pieces up for grabs of all styles . I would love to sell my own art on the levee.

We went inside the mall not that busy at December… they have parking place just in front of the Newport before the crosswalk to go aquarium. Jfyi they just pay $5 and you will free explore river walk. Or just existing at the Christmas tree 🎄 …

This place is amazing. So much to see. We have been a couple times now. Once in the middle of the day. It was so busy and so loud. Kinda felt rushed. But we went back. Took the 9am tour. It wasn't crowded. And we had a blast. Was able to really look in all the tanks this time to see so many different critters... love the touching part. We touched everything we could, it was awesome. I recommend ya go early to beat the crowd. But definitely a good time even for the adults.

First,find a parking place. Most are very close with a block or two at the most. Its worth paying the $7-10 fee, which covers all day. An attendant is on duty so you wont have to worry about your car. So many thing to see and do. Newport Aquarium and AMC theatre are two wonderful options for hot or bad weather days. Great restaurants abound. Every thing you could need all in one location. Highly recommended. Our family always enjoys our vistits.

We had fun walking around the levee and hit the movie theater,but there is so much more stuff to do than just that. After the movie we went out of the main building and had dinner at brothers (the restaurant). The food was great and so was the service.

Covington did a great job with this city set up. You’d never know it was a shopping mall at first glance. There are some cool places to eat, grab a drink and view the river and downtown Cincinnati, and lots of fun places to explore. It is very well designed and it was fun walking around seeing everything here.

The Levee actually has a lot to offer. There are several places to dine in for older crowds and others for younger crowds. There's a small shopping "mall" aside from the little shops with outdoor entrances. There's a Starbucks hidden in Barnes and Noble. The candy shop has all Banana Runtz! You can rent bicycles or Lime scooters to cruise around on. Of course the Aquarium if you're into that. There are lots of benches facing Cincinnati for a great view! You can also bring well behaved animals thru the walk areas. There's a direct route to the Purple People Bridge and a new walking area connection for the bridge to the stadium. It's a pretty cool place.

We had 2 seven year olds and a 9 year Old. They loved it except for the interactive parts. They couldn't really touch any of the sea creatures. I understand if they can't reach the bottom, but this wasn't that problem. None of them were designed for children, or short people. They loved the tunnels, bridge, and the glass enclosure tunnels. Overall for the experience we gave it a 4.5 (raised to a 5 because there's no 4.5). Great time overall!

Cute little place. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay long as I was on my way home from vacation and really only stopped to eat. However I do hope to visit again. They are doing some construction there. It was nice to look out on the river and at the Cincinnati skyline.

It's a decent plaza with a number of different options. There's the aquarium, places to get food or just shop around. I can't imagine anyone making the trip for just the levee, it's more a means to get to the other places.

Quite a few empty store spaces and a lot of what I suspect were once retail spots are now office space. It's a strange shopping experience. What is there though are a collection of cute shops and good restaurants. Still worth a trip.

Great theater for IMAX and Dolby 3D. The facility needs work, though. Restrooms wet and leaking. The 3D Glasses return bins were STUFFED FULL, and that is saying something considering how big they are. Where are the staff? The movie was great, but it seems the venue is in need of attention.

Great place for the entire family. Movie theater, restaurants, a mall, aquarium next to the mall. Location is right on the banks of the Ohio River opposite side of Cincinnati. Best place to visit when visiting downtown Cincinnati.

Not much going on here. Couple of decent stores. The Wooden Cask brewery bar... nice on tap selections. Leaf & Limb plant store is nice. The game room Is highly overpriced - gaming cards expensive for short plays. Drink prices and food is expensive. Went to the movies with a book of AMC tickets and still had to pay $9.00 for the Dolby sound theater (didn't want to go to the 3D or IMAX - those were even more expensive). Then there's the $12 parking. All in all, if you're going for a night out to the movies get ready to spend.

Kentucky Frey'd Fun

The Levee is being completely remodeled and is in the middle of it. Don't let that scare you away. There is still plenty to do eat and enjoy while you're there. We just went to AMC to see the latest Disney movie and the facility was immaculate plus they have added more parking around the Levee. I look forward to what's to come in the next months.

Walk across the Purple People Bridge, beautiful decorative lights, particularly on the Kentucky side of the bridge. A purple Christmas tree at the entrance at Newport on the Levee is popular for family photos. The lack of adequate lighting on the Ohio side is concerning at night. There's a 200 meter portion at the very end is disconcerting. Additionally, there is construction going on in the same area next to the bridge equally poorly lit. That being said, it's a beautiful opportunity for photographers to take amazing pictures of the Beautiful Ohio River.

Newport on the levee isn't the bustling, store packed shopping mall that it once was. NOL has lost many good bars and shops during its apex of popularity, but there are still good places to visit and see: Pros: Newport aquarium is a great place to see. Ohio river walk and the Purple People's bridge Restaurants near NOL like Hofbrauhaus and Brie. Great place to jog/ run Close to Cincinnati banks. Cons: Parking can be chaotic on weekends Not as many stores as there were in the past ( B&N is gone, Bar Louise's was a great place). Congested traffic around the levee.

I am not from the area but I love coming here! The Aquarium is outstanding by itself but the mall and shops that are great to shop and get a meal on the way. The view of the river is nice and the parking is reasonable, with a big garage, but will top out at $5.00 for several hours of time. I am used to over-expensive parking for less entertainment so I applaud Newport for a job well done!

I always have a good time here. It's got a vast amount of options of things to do, and my friends I are happy to hang around! The theater is big and nice, and the restaurants are clean and delicious. The view of the lake is probably one of the better attractions here. Overall, I would recommend this to friends and family alike!

We drove 2 1/2 hours to get to Newport Levee for the USS Nightmare. (30$ each) The drive was well worth it!! Parking was easy,close & free. We always enjoy all the things there is to do while we're at the levee! Movies, shopping, restaurants, bars, the aquarium..etc. We had a great time going through the haunted dredge! (About 2.5 hrs in line, worth the wait!) Then we walked the Purple people bridge to the Ohio side. We really enjoyed ourselves, as always. We had a good walk, with an amazing view of downtown Cincy! I can't wait to come back!

Great place to spend your evening by looking at the iconic Cincinnati city skyscrapers. AMC theater is really clean and I have watched so many movies over there. If you live closer to the city or university, this is a good place to watch movies and spend your weekend.

I definitely wish there were more big fish here, and maybe more penguins, but on the whole the shark exhibit is good and it's all well preserved. Plus, you get to walk over the shark tank on this narrow walkway.. Also, there are a couple of pools to pet some of the fish, so that's pretty cool.

Great shopping center with great potential as we put COVID-19 behind us. Looks like they've done some remodeling recently, looks fresh and more updated, especially with the white and gray colors on the exterior and a brightened up interior.

Love this place. I visit all the time. Aquarium and movie theater not to mention a few bars, restaurants, shopping, and an arcade area... It's like a one-stop date night. Wrap that up with the purple people bridge walk or just walk down by the river and the night is complete.

Update 4/16/22 improved greatly. Need more shops. Much better than 21. Went several years ago and was impressed. On 4/17/2021 there are more security guards patrolling than stores open. DO NOT waste time or money parking. The website is inaccurate regarding open stores. I hope businesses will come back, but the signs do not look promising. Disappointed!

Beautiful place to walk or ride a bike. Near the Ohio River and access to the Purple People Bridge where you can walk or ride your bike to Kentucky. Lots to see and do. I like the shade and places to sit and enjoy a day with my wife and grandchildren. The Aquarium in Kentucky is nice. The surrounding is full of places to eat and simply walk around and view the Cincinnati skyline buildings.

A really nice place to visit. Make sure that you have plenty of time to walk around to check everything out. We mainly went to Newport Aquarium, but you can't help but see all of the different shops that are right there.

There are a several restaurants here, like Brothers, Five Guys, and Cold Stone Creamery for example. A large AMC theater is on top floor, as well as Barnes & Noble and Cosmic Coffee on the second. It's a great place to walk. The view of Cincinnati and the river is beautiful!

This place is awesome wether you have kids or not! Mine loved the shark bridge. The shark bridge can hold up to five tons, if that makes anyone feel better. It is a rope bridge that is above a pool of sharks. There is also a shark touch pool. They are leopard sharks and pajama sharks. Maybe the guitar fish will be out, too! The sharks don't bite. The females are much more timid. The dwarf seahorses are cool, too!Those guys are tiny!The jelly fish are awesome, too!

Like the view you get of Cincinnati from Newport on the Levee. There's a pedestrian bridge you can walk to and from Cincinnati and Newport. If you drive there is a parking garage went on a Sunday so was $3 to park all day. The main attraction in this area is the aquarium there's a movie theater and restaurants.

WEBN Fireworks get better and better every year. Hosted by WEBN radio station. These Fireworks are the biggest around! Be aware if you have Closter phobia, seizures, anxiety or a hatred for stupid people. This place is full of flashing lights, loud noises you feel throughout your body, close contact (not for covid-19 Karen's) and drunk idiots. Fireworks are worth it all though💯

It's a Beautiful area on the Ohio River. Architecture is awesome in the background with the tall Cincinnati buildings, parks, walkway Bridge over the river and stages for music. And the outdoor shops on the brick paved upper level. The aquarium is also a real treat

Great time at the aquarium! Incredibly friendly staff, with most dressed up in costumes. We got there early Sunday on a dreary day and it was not all that crowded, thankfully; we had 4 adults, 2 tends, 2 kids, and an infant! Enough inside and out to keep the kids plenty entertained for hours!

Whenever my family is in town from Chicago I take them to Newport on the levee. They LOVE it! We walk the Purple People Bridge from Kentucky to Ohio. There are tons of nice places to eat, the Aquarium etc. all in one spot. Parking is easy, there's an underground parking garage from 2.00 to 5.00. I highly recommend this place! You'll love it.

Dart Rush was great! We where having a birthday party and kept having to push it back because of a flight delay for the birthday girl. The staff was very understanding and helped. We had a blast there to ages from 60's to 9. All had a blast

Great place to catch a movie. There are many options to catch a bite before or after the movie. There's plenty of parking. The river front is just steps away. You get a fantastic view of Cincinnati and if none of that gets your attention the Aquarium is also a few steps from Levee.

It's even customized to enjoy even in the colder months!! Lots of stuff to do! Movies aquarium, sights, dining, shopping n all sorts of stuff. They have little heated domes you can rent outside and enjoy the scenery. With service and all. Too cool!!

Definitely, THE PLACE to be if you are in Newport area. Located on the river bank, it has a movie theater (AMC), pub (Brothers), many restaurants (Five Guys, BRIO, Rodendo Taqueria, Tom+Chee), ice-cream shop (Cold Stone), a bookstore (Barnes and Noble), an aquarium (Newport Aquarium), gaming zone (Gameworks), coffee shops (Starbucks, Saxby's) and more. Great place to hang out even late night. On the river side, it gives a beautiful view of the downtown Cincinnati and the Ohio River. You can sit back, relax and enjoy on one of the many benches. There is a historic tree on the river side that has stood the test of time. There are many river cruises that leave from BB Riverboats nearby (although it's an offseason right now, so they do it when the winter is less severe). Great for kids as well since there is a Newport Express toy train that circles around the complex. In addition, they can enjoy at Newport Aquarium and savor the delicious ice-cream at Cold Stone Creamery. There is a large covered parking in the basement at a nominal fee. Plus, the Southbank Shuttle drops you right outside the complex. Overall, a great place to spend a couple of hours on a weekend.

Great for walking around and seeing the skyline. The purple people bridge is a pedestrian only bridge and you can walk across into Cincinnati. Shops and restaurants are a bit overpriced but that's to be expected.

I have not been to the levee I'm a couple years. The changes they have made are amazing. There is still something for everyone and now there is so much more. The outdoor entertaining has been dialed up all the way. This is what the outside at the levee should have always been for a location on the river. The bars and seating and games are incredible. I used to avoid the levee at all cost and now I want to go there every weekend. Great job!

A great place to take the kids. We enjoyed all the different fish and reptiles they had on display. After waiting 40 mins seated for the dive show at the shark tank, we learned they cancel the site during this time if year due to shark aggression due to breeding season. I completely understand canceling due to this but they knew ahead of time and should let people know so they don't waste time.

The Levee has gone downhill a bit over the last decade as more and more businesses have left. It is a nice location but paying to park for limited activities makes me not want to go there often. I’ve heard it’s under new management and they are getting ready to give it a facelift; hopefully they can get some life back to it.

It's an awesome space. The new renovations are great. Good for kids to run around or terms adults to hang out. They have great events during the weeks for kids, adults and even barks and brews with pets. Great view to have drinks and chat. I hope more interesting business or restaurants come in, but the new ones are pretty cool. The stand outs were definitely the crepe bar, lemonade/hard lemonade stand. Fun to eat on the water at brothers go to a movie and have ice cream after. My wife and I want to go bowling. Something for everyone. Wish Dewey's was still there though.

Wow! Newport on the Levee has really changed for the better! It's all grown up now. We loved all the shipping container bars in the plaza in front of the aquarium. There are so many great options to chose from for drinks. We had a drink from the tiki bar. We can't wait to visit again soon!

It's listed as a shopping mall but it's not. There's a small amount of local shops in the main building that rotate so there's always something new. But if it's between rotations, there's nothing to shop for or at. There's a good amount of different food places that are nice and the movie theater. In the summer time they do put out little games for kids (like a big connect-4) but it's not really something that the kids can spend the whole day at unless you plan on going to the Aquarium (make reservations!)

This is a nice little area with plenty to do. The Newport Aquarium is here. As well as an AMC Movie Theather. There is also a candy store and a few restaurants to eat at. Entertainment and shopping complex on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. Lots of things to do here: Newport Aquarium, Movies, Shopping & Dining. Parking garage is below the complex and you have to pay at kiosks before you go to your car, not at the exit.

Nice mall but all the shops were closed for some reason at 10am on a Friday, we went to Newport Aquarium and the shops were open when we came out around 3pm, the main courtyard drains were stopped up and there was a huge puddle of rain water and didn't seem that they were working on it even when we left there at 3pm

They really need more things to do in the mall. I feel like the remodel was a good idea in theory. But, as someone who adores malls, I think it was way better before. There were more fun stores and it felt like it had personality. Unfortunately, both the inside and outside don't feel like a fun destination anymore they just feel like a place for college students to hang out on weekends.

Sister is here all the way from Florida. We decided on bowling. Made it there and they're booked for the night. Total disappointment. We were hungry so we stopped at Brothers. The food was great, however our waitress found it more interesting to ignore us most of the time we were there. Pleasant enough she was just not as inviting as one would expect. We had to keep calling for her instead of her checking to see if all was great. Another disappointment. Even with all the hiccups we managed to enjoy ourselves. I would definitely visit Newport on the Levee again. Just not late night.

Great place to come visit at any age. Has really cleaned up and changed over the years. One small complaint I have is that the second floor public restroom (men's and family) are filthy. There's toilet paper hanging off the ceiling, (men's public) markings on the ceiling (men's public) and toilet paper just shoved in the toilets. (Men's public). Also one of the family bathrooms doors doesn't even close (How scary). The logs by the entrance of the restroom hasn't been updated since March either! Just saying we can do better

We ate at Mitchells Seafood. It had been recommended to me. My cousin and I were both very pleased with the service and most of all with the food. We had a window view out over the Ohio River on a beautiful day. I had clam chowder, wedge salad, and mashed potatoes dish, and he had Parmesan chicken pasta dish. I am love good food and I am hard to satisfy, and my cousin is even harder to satisfy on food. So take that into account with me giving them 5 stars. Then we toured the waterfront and walked over to Ohio on the converted railroad bridge. I was able to acquire many nice photos that I may be able to do something with. The bridge is private property and they have banners hanging from it which makes it ugly. Get rid of the banners! I recommend a week day to avoid the crowds. It is a good place for families, and dating. So if I had had a date instead of being with my cousin, it would have been even better! ;)

Took my family there today for the 1st time. We all LOVED IT! So much to see and do... I would love to just sit and watch the exhibits for hours! Everything I had seen in comments did not do this place justice. I read that they did not have an octopus, jelly fish, sea horse, or a sea turtle. They absolutely had all 4 My oldest son was so happy to get to see a sea turtle! The interactive exhibits we're awesome too! Pet starfish, rays, and sharks! Plenty of spots for photo ops as well. It was a WONDERFUL place to go as a family. Already planning our next trip! Even the gift shop is reasonable on pricing. For the penny press machine... You only need a dollar! Found that out after we passed on the first one. Cause who cares cash... Much less pennies anymore! I do have a suggestion, if you have littler kiddos that like to lollygag try to get there about 30 mins early so you can find that lost shoe, eat some snacks, and make your way from the parking garage to their very cute little "village". There were many vendors and shops, and the movie theatre!

(Edit- Newport Aquarium) All the tanks were cool but the shark tank was really neat, especially walking over the Shark Bridge. The sharks were among our favorites but the reptiles and amphibians were the best. Snowball and Snowflake, the white alligators in their huge enclosure, were the highlights for me personally. I'd plan anywhere from 2-4 hours for a visit here. The exhibits offer plenty of interaction throughout the aquarium including the opportunity to pet anemones, stingrays, starfish and even certain sharks. Some of the tanks offer a chance to climb inside for some really cool photos.

What a fun place to experience! There are so many options for dining ranging from low end to little bit higher in food establishments. There's different types of shopping available for most shopping types. The parking situation there is awesome I've never had an issue finding any parking oh, and it is an affordable and usually ranges about $5 for a think maybe two or three hours don't quote me on that one. It has an amazing view of the Ohio river and looking to the Ohio Riverbank. It's a great place for families with small children because of the Newport Aquarium and all the food options plus there's a sweet store. It's also a great option for teenagers and young adults as well as married couples and older couples or order people in general. I know it's a big place to go for a lot of Ohio roadtrippers. It can be a little busy and be prepared to walk around. The riverfront itself offers like I said before beautiful views but also a nice breeze that comes through. Making it perfect for the summer season. I absolutely would recommend everybody at least checking this out once.

Absolutely a great hour and a half of entertainment. It is aimed for family fun, but a pair of two senior citizens had the time of their life there. Better than Atlanta's aquarium because of the side by side fish descriptions/narratives. Highly recommend the time there.

One of my favorite aquariums. The price is worth every bit all the fish and reptiles are active and fun to watch. The aquarium is set up really well to five lots of great views and you can often come to find a tank at another viewing angle later on. The shark bridge is a ton of fun and the white alligator is beautiful. It's a huge loss if your in the area and DONT stop by this aquarium.

We took our 8 month old son here and had a blast! He loved the bubble viewing areas! It was so cute watching him climb the bubble as high as he could before sliding back down! New port is absolutely beautiful. I prefer it at night for photography and just a general lack of people. Just seems more magical Theres still plenty to do in the area. During the day the businesses are open and the entire area is still very nice. Dogs are not allowed in most of the buildings, so If you're traveling with doggos. The barnes and nobles gave us a few minutes to let the dogs cool off and the little mini mall also let us have the dogs in as long as they didnt walk on the ground

Went to see Aladdin in IMAX. I usually don't frequent AMC often, I spend most of my movie time at Cinemark, but I may start going here more. Lots of options at the concession stand but if you want to try the additional popcorn flavors go early. It's usually gone by the time the later showings start.

Not what we expected. The Exchange had signs outside saying they had exciting things inside. Nope. Most of the store fronts were empty. We went into the art shop and were almost completely unimpressed by the artwork. The restaurants/bars around the outside ground level of the building seemed nice. There are chairs along the railing on top of the levee giving a great view of the river. The area was well-kept, clean, brightly painted and appealing on the outside.

Due to covid you must purchase timed tickets online or n person. I suggest online so your wait won't be as long. Vaccinated people did not have to wear mask. They did wipe down Interactive areas often. Great for adults and children. Wheelchair accessible

Pretty fun place to spend an afternoon. Aquarium, arcade, movie theater, and several different places to eat. Calling it a shopping center is a bit of a stretch as they've had trouble populating the indoor section it seems (like a lot of malls), and while there are a few stores, it's not a place to go to spend the day shopping. Even their flashy directory is fleshed out with a logistics company, a scrap recycling company, an attorney's office, etc. Don't get me wrong, it's a good place to go for food and entertainment. The "shops" are just an afterthought. Parking is easy. If you need a bathroom, you'll probably want to hold it until you're inside one of the restaurants or entertainment venues.

Brio on the Levee was a decent dinner spot. It was crowded on a Saturday night and we had a two hour wait. I ordered the Ravioli Di Bello, it was BEYOND DELICIOUS!! Such great flavor! Generous portions. The bread was great too!! I ordered a peach lemonade (it has a fancier name, but not worth remembering), I wouldn't do it again. This place is wheelchair accessible, but the tables and bar make it EXTREMELY difficult to navigate. The bathrooms would be a little aggravating for someone in a wheelchair because the doors are so large. I would go back again, but only for the food. The ambiance and service were mediocre at best.

We did shopping at the Sugar Candy shop and they had a large selection of candy. It smelled like cotton candy in the shop, yum. They had fudge, vanilla taffy that I haven't found anywhere. Needless to say I was excited to find it. Very fun shop.

Went to AMC theater to watch batman. I love this theater due to the sound!! Its great. But it must have been 100 degrees in there last night I had to go all the way outside to get fresh air 3 times I was sweating even in a t shirt the whole group I was with was going through the dame thing and I could see others since I was at very top taking off hoodies and fanning themselves. I didn't get to enjoy the movie at all die to feel like I was suffocating with heat.!! Please fix this. Made the movie horrible to sit thro.

Visiting from out of town and this area was a cool spot to spend a few hours walking through stores. Came with a small child so didn't experience the night life here but there are bunch of bars centered in the courtyard which I imagine would be a pretty good vibe.

We love the aquarium @ Newport. Our daughter is a member & that gets her 15% off gift shops/attractions. The exhibits are interactive and interesting.During covid they allow timed spots so you can go thru with out a ton of people. Restrooms are clean & facilities are constantly being updated.

Ite has taken business away from local shops/restaurants. Although, it could be remedied by concerted effort from the community and local government.

There was a lot of "construction" going on. A lot of yellow tape blocking off areas so you had a very narrow path in which to walk so you were forced to walk closer to others and that didn't seem to comply with covid distancing guidelines. However it was awesome to see staff enforce the rules of minors needing to be accompanied by an adult. The movie was awesome and love those reclining seats! When "construction" is finished it will once again be a great place to just walk around enjoy time with family and get your face painted!

Went on the new Cincy Bus Tour that started on the Levee. It was fun, entertaining and informative. Took us around Newport and over the Bridge to Cincinnati. We stopped at different locations and learned the history of each area. We made a short stop at Union Terminal. A Holocaust Exhibit was there on the main floor. What we glimpsed was horrendous but they honored the liberators, the survivors and the poor souls that didn't survive. Very moving. Will go back there to explore another day. They use a big video screen above the driver to explain where we were and what the background story was. This was a wonderful way to explore the city we love. We did the tour for our Anniversary. Brought back a lot of special memories. Highly recommend the tour.

Please, don't get me wrong, the animals were absolutely amazing. Beautiful, delicate and some scary creatures and all just as cool as the last one. Staff was so sweet when you got a chance to see them. So to what I didn't really jive with was these are learning and interactive exhibits, all the live interactions were closed but 1 and all the play areas were closed. There was 2 people downstairs that was explaining about to of the live attractions, the small sharks and the rays. You couldn't understand the woman with the rays, her mic was totally messed up, gave me a migraine. The young man that were with the tiny sharks (the ONLY open live interaction in the entire place) but the young man looked and acted liked he was as baked as a cake. I mean, I'm not saying I'm against smoking weed but don't be baked at the work place. But besides that, the ONLY live attraction (tiny sharks) were all in a pool so deep that no child could even reach them. We DID have a good day, we didn't let all that get to us so don't feel like you ruined our day but at least if you don't have an entire attraction running, give discounts or maybe even 1 complementary picture. It's not fair to pay full price for half the attraction.

The new renovations at Newport are stunning! The inside mall and outside boxcar/seating areas are so beautiful. Cute seating areas available throughout. I've enjoyed live music both inside and outside, and the riverside location provides a great view of downtown Cincinnati. There are also a variety of nice river walk options in Newport and Cincinnati, connected by the Purple People Bridge.
