Very popular with university of Louisville students and faculty also for the neighborhood. Kroger is the most popular grocery store to shop because this is a super Kroger with a wide variety of foods along with other useful items for the home and kitchen appliances. The only real issue is the wait time for checking out and some product availability but it's mostly due to lack of employees mainly. This only became a problem and started with the covid sickness before that they always had enough workers and product scarcity and availability were never a problem.

I like all of the stores they have there but it's always super crowded. I have NEVER seen a Little Caesars pizza place more packed them the one over here always is and Kroger's check out like are ridiculous. Other then that it's ok

The bigger Kroger if the 2 nearest me... They've got more! And easy to see. I love the pharmacy. And if you need a gift there are plenty of U of L items. Plants & flowers inside & outside. The vegetable, meat, and produce departments are so good. The sell alcohol. And the prices are great on EV thing. 5 Stars. Order groceries online , let someone shop for you...And ready they will be!

Just a little football is okay there's a little bit of everything in there a lot of parking and a gas station. The only thing I don't like is the fact that Kroger gets so packed that it's hard to move around in there. And their customers are very rude.

It's a decent area I will say out of that whole entire area a little Caesar is the busiest so be careful because either you get hit or there will be a situation starting up with another customer. I did view that twice my main goal was to go to the grocery store there to grab some distilled water and then leave but with them being short style lines are long and things were hectic even the self checkout was having issues

As shopping centers go, this location isn't so bad. Central Station has a variety of restaurants and other stores, even a gas station. The bad side is there are far too many idiots that illegally park in front of the Little Caesar's Pizza in the fire lane and just in the road. This completely blocks passage and is dangerous. I cannot understand how so many people are that selfish and lazy, lots of open parking spots five feet or so from there. There are several reserved spots just for them that empty. At least 7 cars were in the road/fire lane making it more difficult to get to Sam's Gyros next door (love that place).

I love that this shopping center is so close to my house but it seems everyone else did too. There's another Kroger's that is just a mile or so up the street from this location but they seem to have an equal amount of customers. This particular area hosts a great little shop for Cardinal gear as well as several choices for purchasing dinner for the whole family, sit down style or take out, it also has a gym to round out the available list of merchants as well as a cell phone store, Cricket, I do believe.

Sam's Gyros is the go to place nowadays. They have a great lamb gyro platter for about 11 bucks and they will fill up a clamshell take out box.

Great location if you're close to u of l, pretty much a One-Stop on most of your convenient and shopping needs in a pinch. Some really great local cuisine of an international flavor in the mall you should stop by and check some of these venues out. Me personally every time I have a little extra coin and I'm in a kind of a Mediterranean mood Sam's is a really good place to catch a bite of on that style of cuisine, they're about midsection of them all before you cross to Kroger and try the gyro platter with balsamic rice and live a little.

My fiancé and myself had lunch at the little Greek restaurant there at Central Station, and I have to say the food was excellent it is everytime we eat there. Not only was the food great the service was as well. I recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed.

The stores in this shopping center are well placed for the dynamic of the area Right across from the Cardinal Stadium, planet fitness takes up one side of the shopping center ( on the right when you enter). With the Kroger just ahead of you.

I always get an anxious going to the grocery store because I have a hard time walking and if I can't find a scooter cart then I either can't shop or I do but have so much pain afterwards!! So I have noticed that their scooter cart situation is terrible,awful!! NEED MORE SCOOTER CART AVAILABLE!!

I use to live down the street on third so I would visit this shopping center a lot. Between the Planet Fitness, Kroger, UPS store and a couple of the restaurants, it is the perfect little shopping center. I do know that University of Louisville is close by so I’m sure a lot of the college kids come through here as well. I still visit quite often as it’s close to my downtown branch for my bank.

A lot of great businesses here, but I try to go elsewhere anymore due to the people begging here. Nothing wrong with you doing you, but if I say I don't have anything don't cuss me out. Cause I don't have to help you. I was at Little Caesars and there was a gentleman there asking for food. I got him a lunch special and he actually had the nerve to get mad cause I didn't give him cash too. Are you serious?

Pretty good store. It would help if they expanded the store a little more to help provide for so many people. If I don't go in the morning I can expect long lines and empty shelves wherever the sales are. They really need more staff. You can tell the staff they have are stressed out when they can hardly step away from the register because of the large amounts of customers. They do at least have managers walking around and swapping cashiers to help them get their breaks.

I love that there are so many places I go right in one place and right around the corner from my home! The Starbucks is always quick! Kroger gas always has free air! Everyone in the vapor lab is always kind and knowledgeable! I do wish the Kroger had more quantity of things because they run out quick but they have a huge selection! Whatever mood your in you can feed it, you have Wagner's in the morning, wings, mexican, pizza, then you can go work it off at the gym, or even get your nails done and then go shopping for UL gear, all at the same place! All in all this is a great place to have right in your neighborhood!

My neighborhood Kroger Im in here almost everyday. Clean friendly excellent deli & bakery. Very large store so they have any & everything u need. A wonderful florist, a convenient Starbucks right inside, fast friendly cashiers & several self checkout stations located at both ends/exists of the stores. Comply with Covid safety guide lines they sanitize carts as well as self sanitize again if u like. One entrance is for entering the store only, the other is for exit only. Security at both entrances as well as a police officer in store at all times.

This store has been updated, so it's one of the nicest looking Kroger's I've ever been in. All the usual Kroger items, plus some extra prepared foods and a little cafe. Not much in the home goods section though, that part is lacking. Most employees I've talked to have been incredibly nice. Love their grocery pickup setup as well.

The CardVille store is a great place to buy University of Louisville items, ranging from team apparel for Cardinal men's and women's sports for any season to home decor items. Much better than other Louisville Cardinals stores. Central Station overall has a good variety of places to shop, including Kroger's, T-Mobile, Little Caesar's pizza and many others.

I do all of my business at the UPS Store here and attend Planet Fitness as well as find one of the only Asian food restaurants that have vegetable egg rolls if I'm not getting Lil Caesars (which I do not recommend that location for that particular hot-n-ready joint because they are RUDE AF and will robb you blind. They still owe me 20 bucks for an online order I never received so I guess the manager with the nasty attitude pocketed my money) ANYWAY, it's a convenient place to go for pretty much anything, there's even a Kroger here!

Going here used to be an easy and fast process. The expansion of Kroger, and the addition of a new store has made parking and driving here very difficult . I love the expanded Kroger , but I hate the limited parking. If you want to shop at Kroger, expect to park as far as gamestop.

Convenient variety of businesses, some examples include Starbucks, Vapor Lab, UPS, and Kroger. However, the parking situation was a hot mess and I felt that the rows and spaces could be a bit bigger. Also, there's a significant amount of shifty people and homeless people and beggars that will come up to you and your car, so be prepared for that.

Nice variety of stores and always a good little trip to go browse around. Right by churchill downs to for when derby time hits! There's a western union inside kroger but be prepared to stand in line forever. Multiple lanes in there also. Pizza place, phone store, oriental food and more plus gas station. Stadium is across from it to. Hope to see more done with the vacant lot across the way (looks awful chained off like it is. Possibly used for parking for events but jeez. Spruce it up some. Should put something like a little Guide booth to help people from out of town navigate the city.

This shopping center is located near Churchill Downs, Cardinal Stadium, Cardinal Baseball and Ky Fair and Expo Center. There's a top notch Kroger grocery, Planet fitness, Fed Ex shipping and several food outlets. Easily accessible to handicap needs, the parking lot is clean and secure. Little Caesar's hot and ready is just that! Friendly, fast and efficient.

Android getting my sandwich here and I took it with me there was no eating inside that I could tell that at this location and so I got my sandwich to go place was clean as it could be the girls were friendly as they could be and I just really appreciate going in places where there's conversation going on and they welcome you in and chit chat with you and and picture saying we should wait you like it and all that and so I just had a really good experience there and I will go back again.

This is a nice shopping center, you have Kroger's next to a fitness gym and a variety of specialty stores and if you are a Cardinal fan , there's a HUGE Louisville Cardinals sports store that is located less than a football field away from Cardinal Stadium. Parking is a little on the small side for the traffic into the many stores in that area

Went by Lrogers to pick up a recipe item I needed. They had the item and it was a very easy in and out. However the parking lot is a problem. If there is a car coming in and one going out there is no room for customers to walk to get to or from the store. I had to step between a couple parked cars twice to keep from getting hit and I didn't even have a cart.

There's a bunch of rats in the alley behind most of the food establishments here including beef o'brady and little ceasers. Luckily the cats have been helping keep them away from the Kroger. Otherwise the selection is pretty good. I think it could benefit from a dollar store.

I like that this shopping mall is near campus and has lots of options. However, it feels like a somewhat unsafe area, and I wouldn't recommend frequenting it. For a college student, though, it's pretty convenient, and I've never actually had a bad experience here - it just feels kind of sketchy.

I'm not a huge fan of this place, because you have to fight the transient homeless population to get in and out of any store. And before you judge me, just know that I was one of those homeless drug addicts at one point, and I never understood how people could follow others around or beg for money every day in the same spot. I suppose it's out of desperation, however, it's not comfortable when I'm with my kids and there is a guy blowing cigarette smoke in my boys face, not just asking me, but harassing me, for money.

I had some time to kill and walked around Central Station Shopping Center and will definitely be returning they had everything from small shops including a thrift store to an Ace Hardware as well as a Chinese grocery and a Hispanic grocery. If you're looking to try something new or cook a special meal I definitely would recommend stopping in here and taking a look around.

This is my most favorite Kroger in the city because it's the Louisville Cardinals Kroger and it's decked out in the Red and Black. This is a great looking building and the renovation work made it very open and spacious. Great service and workers, along with a Starbucks, makes this a little slice of heaven in the South Central Greater Louisville area and the University of Louisville campus. I am going to always go here cuz I'm a Cardinal for life!

We ate at Senor Iguanas. Very good although I didn't think the burritos were as big as a lot of other other restaurants. Alot of stuff in the shopping center. You can get dinner, go to the grocery,stop by the liquor store and work out at the gym.

Nice area. Krogers has great deals, and my favorite..the T-Mobile store is right next to Starbucks. There's also plenty of small restaurants, a liquor store and the Kroger gas station is usually once of the cheapest in the area.

This is one of the nicer, and well-kept shopping centers in the city. It is a definite blessing to the south border of U of L campus and Churchill Downs communities. There are lots of great shops here including the big anchor Krogers of course, Starbucks, Game Stop, and the absolutely one hundred percent always amazing Senor Iguanas. There's also a Kroger gasoline Depot and many other businesses at this shopping center. Furthermore this location is at the center of many events throughout the year and they always seem to do a good job managing traffic and safety for things like U of L football games, baseball games, Churchill Downs races and activities and especially the Papa John's 10 miler that takes place every year.

traffic flows smoothly in/out of locale, ample parking and nice selection of stores and restaurants. The two Starbucks in one shopping center is a bit much, but understandable since one is a kiosk inside Kroger. However, there are seriously two more Starbucks right up the road on U of L' s campus (eckstrom library and student activity center) situated less than a mile from the two at Central station. Seems like overkill and monopolizing but to each his own. I prefer the local coffee spots personally. The recent expansion inside Kroger is much needed for local residents and very much appreciated!! Finally a good cheese selection!!

This area seems to always be under construction or congested with traffic. It’s very close to Churchill Downs and the Cardinal Stadium so that’s probably what’s up with the traffic. 😕 Central Station as a whole needs to be updated with healthier food options and maybe an affordable clothing shop like “The Goodwill” for nearby college students.

This is a bland suburban strip mall in a strange corner of town. The vibe is a little university meets Churchill meets suburban neighborhoods meets the ghetto. No quality food options stand out, but your basic needs will be met by the services offered.

there's a guy who frequents this shopping center, carries a small red gas can asking for change or to use a phone, smells like liquor sweat and nightmares, and was ballsy enough to ask me for money on several occasions in the past few weeks. when we declined the first time we saw him inside kroger beating the coinstar with itself. just watch out for this guy if you shop here. other than that it's a decent place to shop/run errands.

I visited a few places in here and it was a beautiful day to just walk from store to store, very clean. Only downfall is the traffic in the parking lot can be a bit busy and parking can be a bit challenging during peak hours but otherwise it's great.

I only go to this Kroger sometimes to cash my checks and Everytime I go here not only do I have to stand in a very long line but I also have to deal with someone who acts like they don't even want to be there so there snoody acting an sometimes when I have to deal with a different person they want to tell me something different everytime about the way they charge me to cash check an put it on my card it's just getting to be really ridiculous on how they sometimes want to over charge people. They really need to have themselves a meeting or something to get everybody on the same page an tell the ones with attitudes to go home or find them another job becuz it's not the customers fault that you're having a bad day or that you don't like you're job.

It has all the options to get all your errands taken care of in one place. Krogers, which also has a pharmacy . It has Great Clips, Little Cesar's Pizza, T Mobile, Starbucks, FexEx, Beef O'Brady's, Game Stop, Liquor Barn, and Cricket. I believe it has a Cards store as well and a 24 hour Gym. I'm sure that I am forgetting something but I am sure you get the picture. The whole thing is just a great asset to the South End. There is not a whole lot you can't do. It can be inconvenient when the Cards have a home game due to tailgating and traffic, but if that's all we have to endure then I will take it. The advantages outweigh the disaadvantages by far.

Strip mall as they are meant to be. UPS store FEDEX store, but they don't battle each other like I wish they would. Starbucks, Little Caesars, Senor Iguanas, Beef O'Brady's (worst name ever for a restaurant), Chinese restaurant, GameStop, liquor store, gas station, and a planet fitness. What else could you all for in one stop shopping. The location can be a bit hard to get to during events at Papa John's stadium and Churchill Downs but if you plan ahead you should have no problem getting in and out.

You can work out, get a mani and a pedi, then your hair trimmed..taxes done, stop and grab that Chardonnay for dinner and either pick up the fixings to make dinner at the grocery along with your prescriptions at the drive thru pharmacy, or if you don't feel like cooking, there are several decent restaurants to choose from. Sunday's you can go to Beef O'bradys and watch all the football you want (Mon night and Thurs too) great little sports bar. Pretty Nails is nice they give you a card so that after having 10 things done you get your next service free. Planet fitness is a very clean gym and it's true no one bothers you in there and they are open 24 hours and have the friendliest, nicest people working there Central Station is a nice addition to the south end and it's clean, well lit. It seems to be well patrolled by Louisville's Finest thank you! It's a great little gem hidden right there in plain site
