Val Carman (Val)

There are a variety of different stores within this complex, there's Kroger there's a nail salon and a liquor store. Personally, this is the closest Kroger to me so I come here quite often. The staff are always so friendly and helpful.

There is a good assortment of stores here, ranging from Dollar Tree to Auto Zone to Harbor Freight Tools, as well as several restaurants within a few minutes, including Arby's, Captain D's, White Castle, Tumbleweed and Taco Bell.

Great local places, live music, and beautiful sights of the city. It offers some of the best of Louisville and is in the heartbeat of it all. There is some, but not a lot, problem with homelessness and crime but it is generally safe. I walk alone as a woman on the sidewalk in the well lit areas at night and feel alright most of the time.

One of a man’s favorite places to go......... Harbor Freight is there!!! I go there frequently and I am very happy with their product selections and customer service. Hard to get in and out of because of the high traffic area that it’s located in. Just relax knowing that you got some great deals so the traffic issues don’t bother you. There’s other stores that the family can enjoy too.

Went to Harbor Freight store while in this shopping strip and parking lot itself looks maintained and no garbage in parking lot. Parking spots are easy to get in and out of. Overall positive experience, will definitely return to this Harbor Freight when I need something.

Very unorganized, even the front window had uninflated balloons fallen down in between counter and window, blasting hip hop music, definitely needs some better shelves messy. Clerk was very friendly, though.

Great location in the center of Fern Creek. Plenty of parking and lots of stores and restaurants in the area and easy to get there. Excellent place to stop by for a while and relax and enjoy your day looking for goods and services. Nice and clean area.

As shopping malls go it's okay. One thing I especially like is that I can both do banking , get my groceries and prescribed medications without driving all over. There is a traffic light there as well to make getting in and out easier. There is also an entrance in the back off Hunsinger. Happy Shopping 😁

I love shopping here. They always have good deals and good coupons. Im here alot but my last visit i wasn't to happy with the gentleman that checked me out. He never asked for my phone number to put into the system. He snatched my coupons out of my hand. Never told me my total, threw all my stuff in a bag and walked off. Never said thank you or anything. In fact he never said anything to me. He was in a really bad mood for some reason. I had my kids with me and as we were leaving my six year old daughter looked at me and said he wasn't very nice. I hope harbor freight fixes this issue, cause like i said im there all the time and if he is still there i may have to find another location to go to.

This is a standard strip mall. There are some small owned shops for nails and hair. It also has a consignment shop that was pretty shady and a dollar tree. There was a metro PCS. The AutoZone was large and had a good selection and helpful staff. There were even places to eat in the parking lot area.

It's an okay shopping center. There are a number of useful store in the area. However there isnt a lot of pavement designed for pedestrians and when it rains it's a struggle to get to the stores. I like the thrift shop and the dollar store and I don't know a lot of the other stores and I wish it had s grocery store.

There used to be an Empress of China over here, it is now Chamling Kitchen and while they kept some of the same menu, it's not the same. There isn't much over here but Harbor Freight, the dollar store, a little thrift store and an auto store. It's alright though If you need to go any of those places. I think there is an H and R Block in the square also.

I was needing a particular tool for my Little Rock Hounds. A friend suggested I stop by this strip mall and take a look at the tool outlet. It was a great stop but I did not find what I needed. The rest of the mall did not work for me.

It's within convenient distance of the Goldsmith/Bon Air neighborhood and is also located very near to a Kroger (Hikes and Bardstown), a Walmart (Bashford) and a Target (same). So if you need something from one of the chains with a location here it's useful ( Dollar Tree, Autozone, Harbor Freight). There are several other stores, a beauty/hair supply store and a thrift store; St. Vincent De Paul). It's a pretty old strip mall and the parking lot and interiors of the stores reflect it as well. Everything tends to look a little crooked, run down, kind of shabby. Not the store managers fault, more the landlord.
