Reviews of Waterside, Marina del Rey
Crowded, variety of stores, a market, in the marina, car spaces made to small. Parking lot on the small size and all kinds of people, most of them are friendly. Nice variety of stores, restaurants and markets. Lots of nice shops, eateries, market and more.
This is my hometown mall in MDR. Super cute, always bustling with activity. Vegan food and flip flops meets Ralph’s and Starbucks. It’s like the neighborhood gathering place for me.
Convenient market stores, shopping stores restaurants etc.Clean ,packed on weekends though Specially 4th of July or special events at near by chase park.
This place is fine. There's a Ralph's, which is nice, and other places, apparently. Go here if you need stuff, don't go here, who cares, either you need to come here for things or not, it doesn't matter.
Loved it. The weather was awesome and I could look at the boats all day. Walked up and down the Marina after a great meal at Tony P's and had a wonderful afternoon.
See’s Candy! Need I say more?
Great staff at See’s . So nice..great product delivered by Candanista’s who know their merchandise.
I love coming in here, not only because of the Dark Chocolate Almonds, but because I genuinely like the Ladies who work here.
Nice area. I love shopping at Ralph's there bigger store and selections
The white people here was looking at me and my daughter weird. I sensed they were racist.. at sephora
Decent amount of places to eat and relax outside (especially during summer). Cramped parking lot so always pay attention
Best time to come is in December to see the lights all in the park . So beautifully lighted.
Beautiful place to eat or drink coffee and catch up with friends. Very clean.
Beautiful selection of stores. Parking can be annoying. Plenty of spots just dumb people
It's a growing shopping center that already attracts crowds. It's beautiful!
The fun vibe of this outdoor mall will get you every time, plenty of parking,
Sbux has a n outdoor Cafe area, just wish Amazon books would stay open, we heard they are closing. The Ralph's next door it's also very convenient.
MENDOCINO FARMS is fabulous for fresh salads. Great beet, almond salad & cold refreshing lemonade. STARBUCKS! Marina del Rey is an easy Walk. Water BUS at Fisherman's village.
I visited chipotle and Ralph but the plaza is a fun place…
Surprisingly nice shopping center. Warning parking can be a mess.
Love this area. Our hang out place after kayaking. Many dining and shopping options. Parking could be a challenge at time
Luxury Shops and Restaurants and Wonderful Atmosphere!! Including a See's Candy Shop we love!❤️😍👍 …
I went fishing outside to the side of this place but I been told it's extremely good
Lots of nice shops and restaurants here, if you are visiting from out of the area this is a nice place to walk around and take window shop and eat. the parking lot design could use some improvements but it’s a busy little place so they probably are doing the best they can.
Wonderful area with lots of stores and cafes! Highly recommended!
This place use to be busy. All the shops close early like at 6pm. You can see seals from here and pelicans. The seals smell really bad.
Love it everything conveniently located.💯 …
I go there because they have a See's Candy. The parking lot is busy and has tight spaces
This shopping center is a very popular place, it has several good eating spots and nice ambiance. The Christmas decorations are so pretty!!
Nice area.. nice ambiance.. great energy but parking can be crazy and some what dangerous. Tight spots.. bad parking lot design and careless drivers make for a parking headache. Love going to Sweet Greens in the Center.
Good variety of stores and restaurants. Parking is total mayhem
Love this whole area for its selection of dining, shops, and outdoor seating. Whether I'm getting a salad at Mendocino Farms, a burger at Shake Shack, burrito from Chipotle, or a pie from Fresh Brothers, always a good place to sit outside and enjoy the crisp air and good eats.
Lots of shops and eateries just off of the Marina. It's...a place you could hangout, but it's not the most hospitable place.
The complex has a strong consumerist vibe more so than community respite. If that's your thing, then check out the shops.
This is a must before I take the boat out. Food for a day trip. This is the cleanest Ralph's, well stocked Ralph's I have been in.
Always a Pleasant place to stroll thru🤙 …
Great shopping center! So many great casual restaurants to choose from!
Besides challenging parking, I love it!
This place looks like a million bucks.... And it should be cause they charge you for everything. But its a beautiful place to stay even though they didnt have a microwave in the room. Refrigerator but no microwave crazy. Not loke the cant afford it. But good place and the manage is the best
The Ralph's market there has foods not carried by other Ralph's in thg he area. My "go to" store for a number of item.
Nice shopping center that includes a well stocked supermarket and a variety of small eateries. There is ample free parking (as long as you patron one of the many business). Convienent location next to the marina. You can have a bite to eat and then take a quick stroll. Be aware of the two hour parking limit.
I love this place. I usually go to the Starbucks for an afternoon Americano with heavy cream and dinner at sweet greens. You can find Sephora, Pizza Kitchen, Ralphs, Pinkberry, Shake Shack, Mendocino Farms and much more. Try it, you will be surprised as to how much this place offers its guests. A great variety!
The food in most of the places here is good. ButI can only give it three stars as the parking area is kind of a madhouse. There are generally to many people there. Mostly, self absorbed Yuppies (which I am no fan of). Probably because most of the restaurants serve vegan and health food. Overall the scene is not my cup of tea.
Great local Ralph's and other unique shops and restaurants.
a nice place with few restaurants and cafes
Parking spots are tight, be patient and courteous.
Watch for elderly parking lot crossers.
Lots of outdoor space to eat.
Very busy around lunch time, otherwise there’s ample parking and everyone is happy you’re there.
Everyone.
Is that suspicious? Nahhhhhh
another mall review.
the "waterside, marina del rey" is a collection of stores. it succeeds in keeping the stores in one area, near one another, allowing the average user ample opportunity for transition from one store to another with little interference or delay. this is excellent if you need to purchase high-end yoga attire and flip-flops in quick succession with optimal efficiency.
the parking is a bit of a nightmare at times. this is because there are more people who wish to engage in commerce than there are spots for said people to leave their vehicles. this is a riddle; a conundrum of epic proportion that should not be undertaken lightly, lest you find yourself in the throes of frustration. not unheard of in these parts.
once parked, however, you will have access to all the carefully-placed high-end stores, and you will be able to soothe your addled mind with organic smoothies and expensive sushi!
Very nice place to do your grocery shopping. The Ralph's supermarket is located across from the marina.
They have a great deli, bakery and wine selection. It makes you feel like you are shopping in a very gourmet style market.
As always, love coming to this side of town to get away from all the madness of SaMo/Venice, and to enjoy a good cup of coffee from Starbucks, or an amazing sandwich from Mendo Farms...clean, serene, and just what I need at times....no place like home :)
Parking can get pretty chaotic in the evenings. Tight parking spots in some areas. Rainbow acres opened up a small store here which I love. Also, decent options for dinner or a bite to eat. And nice walks to go on near the Marina.
Great little shop. Always impressed with security. Been on the mend as of late and spend a lot of time reading and sipping tea, knowing they are there helps for a relaxed atmosphere... a most important part of the cafe experience. I Love coffee shops.!!! : ) clean joint and a great staff.
My friend had her wedding here. I was not a guest though. However, I can say the following after being there most of the day for the wedding:
Location:
Exceptional. Stunning. Breathtaking. We were on the rooftop terrace for the wedding and the view was something I will never forget. It looked directly over the ocean and when the sunset happens, i guarantee you will NEVER forget that view. The resort itself was decorated beautifully with top of the line furnishings. And the flow of the hotel was very easy to get around.
Staff:
The staff were so nice! Everyone greeted you with a smile, and just had an overall good attitude.
Bartenders:
ATTENTIVE!!!! The bar inside was PACKED. Yet as soon as I sat down it took less than a minute for a bartender to and ask for my order. I then had my drink in I'd say less then 2 minutes tops.
Small location, but they have a nice selection of random products (tech, books, toys, etc.). They also have a palm scanner option to pay for your items.
Maybe I was lucky to have my server. But her casual and professional style made it a good dinner experience. Not so pushy as in other restaurants. Great food. Did not care to much for the piano entertainment that evening.
Greatest market corner for almost everything , from super markets to variety of restaurants , shops to enjoy with your family . Very kids friendly food pockets
Had Nozawa 'Trust Me' lunch at Sugarfish, which may be best sushi we've had outside of Japan. Fabulous.
Met a friend for coffee as it was my first time visiting Marina del Rey. After a wonderful visit, he walked me around their plaza which as some nice storefronts. We then preceded to walk around the marina. Being a life long resident of the area, he had some wonderful stories about this beautiful area. There are many stunning boats and a very relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy the peacefulness of the marina...grab a coffee and go for a walk!
Nice place, love the Amazon bookstore
Love the Kid's Club, we try to go every week. Great place for children (Tuesday's 11:15, March-October). They have something different every week. Puppet show, marionettes, music and dance. And they give out raffle tickets for a goody bag.
I love this small open shopping mall. It's always clean and has adorable music. It is a great spot to go spend the day or the night. It has a beautiful fountain and cute lights at night. They have a lot of food options from pizza, sushi, sandwiches, salads among others. there are also cute clothes stores and a Sephora.
I go here a lot. The parking lot is always busy, but I usually find a spot. There's limited ways out of there, so if you're exiting to the east, there will be a long line to get out. Amazon books is very convenient. New burger joint just opened. The Ralph's Pharmacy is quick and friendly.
Experienced chill vibes here Thanks 🤙✌️ …
The Waterside is a small to moderate sized, somewhat upscale, strip mall right on the water in MDR. It's fine, it has the usual suspects: Starbucks, CPK, B of A, etc. Being on the water, it is also the current home to the marina's only Westmarine (there used to be two) but that's about to change when they move to there new location across the street. Anyway, it's a very useful shopping center with its variety of businesses and therefore very popular. There is enough parking but during high traffic hours (i.e. weekends 11am, weekdays 6pm, etc.) just barely. I'd give it 5 stars but took one off due to the unfortunate prevalence of pretentiousness. It's always the people who have the least to offer society that think the most of themselves, just an observation. 🙂
A few good places to eat. I sat down at an outdoor table to rest (Im 70) and was told to leave. I said I would after I drank my coke a bit more.
(The tables were empty)
He ran and got a rent a cop to oust me. I finished my drink and left.
It’s an open air mall California style
Great shops - love having the Amazon bookstore nearby. Parking is fine but getting into/out of the lot is tricky with commute traffic & road dividers/no turns on surrounding streets. Just takes some planning!
If you don't turn into a driveway going south, you have to go around the whole block to get in. There are plenty of good shops, but people don't know how to park or they just don't care that they take up 2 spaces.
Very rainy day but beautiful anyway
Beautiful small shopping center in the Marina. We can walk or bike here to have a cup of coffee, enjoy lunch with family &/or friends. A perfect place to just chill and enjoy the weather.
When pandemic hit,the cross town bus(BBB#16) stopped that route for a year. It's back on now,so I can go to the Ralph's or to Trader Joes( mon-fri,until 6pm or so). I do love Vons on Centennial, but I like to change it up sometimes!
Everything is close and convenient to shop
An outdoor mall that has good restaurants and shops. On Tuesday mornings, they have a fun show for children. Parking can be challenging since this is a popular place! For a relatively new mall, this one has become very popular with locals and tourists. It offers a lot of chains and unique shops in the L.A. area. Food options tend to be on the healthy and delicious side.
Has security so that keeps the homeless away.
I love this whole area! I went there without a car. So it was much easier for me to get around. I spent 11 hours there in one day. California Pizza kitchen was great. Starbucks to.
Great village to visit , I shopped at sephora and the line was long, although curbside pickup was well, I picked up lunch from shake shack which has the best tasting chicken in town, although the lines were extremely long, my order was 20 minutes late, I shopped sees candy it went smooth and the candy is delicious as always
Very nice plaza, open late, lots of parking, but dont like the blackout signs. Makes it difficult to find a store!
An outdoor mall with a large car park with lots of great shops. Well maintained and clean areas with plenty of seating. Nice water 💦 fountain and trees 🌲 around. Starbucks, Ralph’s, sweetgreen, Pizza 🍕and taco 🌮 options to keep you fed while you shop. …
Beautiful outdoor shopping in Beautiful Marina Del Rey.
restaurants and plenty of shopping. there is also a beautiful park around there called Chace Park with all the boats on the water, also fishermen's village around there. Beach is not far cslled Playa Del Rey and the little downtown area with restaurants and shops a beautiful fun time, fun in the sun!
Great spot to go to for a first date! I usually go to either Chipotle, or Starbucks, sometimes both. Good spot to walk around with plenty of patio chairs to sit and talk.
Parking can be easy during the week. But on the weekends, it gets pretty crazy! Especially from around 11 a.m. through 3 or 4 p.m.
Ralph's, stays open later thAN any other mArket in area. Great produce department. I've never been dissatisfied with seafood, or meat selections I've made there. Besides the atmosphere of this smaller shopping' mallet ' is one of more festive looking, and feeling in the immediate area. And besides..... There are some other cool yummy food & drink , beauty, and health care spots worth checking out.
Beautiful place
Was a nice place for a healthy meal with Jersey friends.
As strip malls go, it is a very nice shopping center with a great tenant selection/mix. Unfortunately the parking lot is not adequate in size or design to manage the volume of customers. At peak times, it is nightmarish to navigate the parking lot.
Always playing nice Sinatra songs outside an a cool place to have lunch an a See,s candy store is here also ,but the sleeper of the shopping is a Amazon store at the end with all kinds of cool gift items .
Went with a friend who faithfully orders the same coffee each time. No breakfast this time, as bakery offerings are not consistent
Gave four stars due to parking can be quite challenging but the shopping and restaurants are fantastic. I went to Simply Salads and it's my go to place when I am in town.
Beautiful setting, lots of sitting options and stores, everyone can find something to eat. Having both Ralph's and Rainbow Acres is super convenient. It can however be tricky to find parking around lunchtime.
There's a few stores I really like in here but be prepared if you're driving parking wise it can be a bit of a zoo at times you wouldn't expect it to be both for parking and for getting out of the lot. I go there mostly when I really need to and that's about it.
Yes See's Candy 😋😋😋😋 the best …
Nice selection of shops. The parking lot layout was not well thought out though, be prepared
Went to CPK and my food was cold, they served one small loaf of bread for 6 people until about 10 past they brought out some nice loaves. Tequila Chicken was not tasty to me. The fruit lemonades were very sweet, and there was an incident right outside, as we were dining on the patio, police and abundance firetrucks for an irate customer from another store, trashed their store and why berserk. OK THE POSITIVE, THE WAITERS WERE EXCELLENT!!!!!
Marina del Ray is a very clean place and my SON's favorite home♡ shower, laundry, restroom very clean and well maintained! Neighbors are helpful! Especially "sea lions":)) I love it very much!! Enough to be happy even to be there♡
The overcast cold breeze, at 10am, made a great 24mile scenic ride. It was just my wife and I, no kids. What a beautifully blessed day it was. Tower 12 has a really good chicken sandwich which I ate for brunch. My wife had their house burger, she didn't offer a taste - usually means whatever she's eating is really good. Over in Redondo, we stopped and ate lunch/Dinner at Captain Kids. They have nothing short of amazing shrimp tacos ( fried ) and popcorn shrimp.
I love the options for restraunts with healthy food-- I come here after my beach fitness classes by T3 Power Ready and keep to my fitness goals while enjoying the nice outdoor dining.
Plenty of eateries and nice shopping spots. Usually venture here for Ralph's grocery, and there is a UPS store as well for printing or shipping services. Rated 3 stars because the parking lot is super hectic and always madness. Been to this shopping center multiple times covering different days of the week and different times of day... And it's always more busy than can be accommodated!
I work just a block away, so I appreciate this shopping complex being so close by. Nice variety of food options and shopping convenience. Paper Source being here makes it easy to pop over for a quick greeting card or last minute gift.
It’s an open mall, you can find amazon , Ralph ( that is not in google map) , and other stores as Ups, for fishing and more.
Returned at Amazon. Easy.
Micro-bookstore (compared to the old Krochs and Brentano's bookstore) and tiny Amazon Basics department in the same store. They have a bathroom!
I liked looking at the Amazon basics department. I got ideas. I miss browsing.
Nice place to hang out. There are a few local shops and really nice dining options, such as Mendocino Farms, Chipotle and Sugarfish. However, the parking situation is quite bad there, be prepared to circle around for a while before you find a spot.
Best place to grab a cup of coffee and people watch. There are great shopping choices and eating. They need to do something about parking. Like one way lanes.
This is a place, guess, spent my over 25 years of Marina life, somehow passing through here, whenever I was in town. It was in some ways still is a great community shopping mall with a lot of open air possibilities and shops near to the old harbor of Marina. Supermarket, Post and the Bank were the first real activities. Before 9/11 Everyone knew Everyone, at least from seeing somewhere and greeting gently each other to wish something positive. Those days are gone. A lot of people are running around these days to return their mishap online shoppings to the local hub of famous online store or to the postage store which was known as one of the PO box store in the mall along side with the post. Post and others are gone according to changing habits. I guess, including the interior, the supermarket is the only one shop didn't change. Some known shops got updated couple of years ago with the mall together before 'the millenials' moved in to the area and changed the all habits. I guess we have to get used to the people looking at their phones while they are walking instead of greeting each other nicely everywhere and don't paying attention to a person in front of them rather looking down and hiding in the screen somewhere in their hand. When I told the people back in the old continent in mid 1990, noone believed me, a case with a telephone hanger, C phones, will be in everyone's hand one day. They didn't believe me back in 2000s when I said, home and booth phones are going to disappear and everyone going have devices without buttons to communicate. One laugh at me and said 'what do you think how we're going to say something to the other people we contact' I answered you are not going to say anything just choose one of the choices in the screen. Wasn't far off was it? Now I am telling y'all. in 20 to 30 years from now back and neck pain will be the number one disorders that shaping human body in evaluation. Enjoy the Marina. If you are here you are really close the Ocean. Park your car in the other side of the peninsula and take walk to the Getty and breath the wonderful ocean breeze Marina offers along with the other natural wonders that you wouldn't have in the city behind you. In a smilar way you can walk or ride bike behind the coastguard and sheriff station by the protected natural area to the other side, to Playa del Rey and get the same fresh ocean breeze into your lungs.
I had lunch with a friend at Tender Greens, it was so disappointing the food wasn't very well prepared; the brussel sprouts were obviously burnt. It was my friends birthday and she wanted some olive oil cake. She asked for one but they didn't have any and the server just said we don't have it, never giving the customer service experience of saying "would you like something else I'm sorry we don't have that today" . This is my second visit to this Tender Greens and the service just seems to get worse, the first time my food was cold. I prefer the one in Century City ,even though the one in Century City seems a lot busier; they seem much more amenable to your customer service experience.
The 3 stars are only about the New Years Eve event. The fireworks were too far away, and even though it was family friendly, I don't want to go again. The music wasn't that good and the lines were terribly long.
Great area great atmosphere lot of eating restaurants to choose from
Nice plaza have allot of good store that you can walk around plus they have a Sephora which is amazing
Great marine supply store if they have what you need, but unfortunately it's about half the size it used to be and their inventory is pretty limited compared to a lot of other West Marine stores. Kind of hit and miss as far as help, depending on who you get to help you. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but not much than you'd expect for boat parts. They are planning to move to a new larger store on Fiji Way some time in 2020
This is one of the most beautiful parts of Los Angeles the world's largest man-made Marina. It wasn't crowded at all and there was plenty of room to park although it's $0.25 for 10 minutes.
Nice plaza with good options for food. There's a California Pizza Kitchen, Fresh Brothers, The Counter Burger, Starbucks and many other options like Japanese food, Poke bar, Mexican food. If you're looking for a quick shopping there are nice shops and stores as well as a supermarket Ralphs. Parking during lunch and dinner time is busy but you can always find a spot
Busier than usual trying to get into parking lot but other then that it's great per usual
A lovely job with the Snow Wonder lights and a HUGE thank you to the snow globe photographer for staying an extra hour! Thank you, also, to all sponsors and volunteers who continue to help keep the event free. We really enjoyed Halloween at Marina Del Rey, as well.
Pretty nice outside area to enjoy some food with the family. I guess I was expecting the food to cost me an eyeball considering we were right at the Marina, but not, decent prices, there's another ice cream shop inside the little mall if the one outside is too crowded. Warning: parking is expensive! More than the food (seriously) we were there for about 4 hours and it was like $14. The restaurant can vouch for some of it but I still ended up paying $7...this is a bit ridiculous for "public" parking, if it was ballet maybe. Not to mention finding a spot took forever. My advice? Park in the first lot you see on the right as you turn towards the Marina amd walk the rest, before you get to the shops... it's free and wide open, I found out after the fact.
It’s a nice shopping center with high end retail, but the parking spaces are very narrow. It’s usually packed throughout the day, but plenty of food/shopping options.
This place has a variety of places to shop and dine as well. I noticed is that there are two Starbucks locations here. So if the main Starbucks is busy, head over to Ralph's supermarket and there's a Starbucks inside with usually no line. Another useful tip for those who use Amazon for shopping, the Amazon bookstore here has a pick-up and returns department for online orders and all the shipping materials are provided.
Parking always a problem, but that's where my marine supply store is, can't wait until they move across the street to the newly developed spot. Nice area many shops and eateries to check out.
LA is a just one massive strip.mall and they aren't the most appealing or even easy to get in and out of. Waterside is one of the nicer centers with plenty of parking and a variety of shops and restaurants that just make sense.
Parking always problematic. A lot of hyper-aggressive drivers make it a bit scary.
Crowded parking lot with anxious, impatient drivers in autos that are too big. The good news is that developers are adding hundreds more condos and apartments to the area just as fast as they can and all of those new westsiders plan to bring cars. Greedy pol's have already pocketed their payoffs but the folks living in the area are on their own. SURPRISE!
Wonderful shopping and relaxing experience, but keep in mind that this is a fairly upscale place and stores reflect that. So if you don't feel like shopping, it is still a nice place for a relaxed outing and a place you can find good food at reasonable prices and still enjoy the view
Great place but I only went into the Ralphs that has a Murray's Cheese shop and Sushi freshly made and a great place definitely and upscale Ralphs. Might have you had a higher score but the parking lot is jammed.
LOVELY place with hipster shops everywhere, just some extra knarly parking on busy days. Don't even think of going there if your nerves are frayed from the other metro area driving jousts.
Crowded. Parking can be an issue but you parking spots seem to open up periodically in waves... not sure why. At least they have dedicated parking for curbside pickups.
Hope you like "Karen's" fighting and being racist because in my one and only visit here I witnessed two such occasions in which that happened.
Love this place. Always a great experience. Parking can suck. I know a secret to the parking situation but I am not sharing lol. Love having lunch in the sun.
This location is blessed with Powerhouse restaurants and stores as well as plenty of parking. Located close to beautiful and serene views that will wonderfully accent your romantic getaway or personal retreat!
Worst food ever! CPK appetizers uggh... The street Corn was corn from a can. The Mac & Cheese balls were dry as hell. And their excuse for corn avocado was...yeah...ummm just bad. The only good thing was the buffalo cauliflower but the portion was a joke!
Shopping and eating by the Marina. Outdoor eating area. Parking can get busy so drive carefully
My little hidden gem. Hanging out here on a Friday night. Cute shops and restaurants. Some nights you can catch a drive-in movie.
Parking is TERRIBLE!!!
I come here a lot for my go tos, some pretty sweet places to shop. West Marine is about the only place around to buy tackle. There are also some nice go to restaurants like Sugar fish, of course Chipotle and Sweet Greens.
Rainbow Acres is another great place for lunch, VERY healthy sandwiches, vitamins etc.
Theres also a bank, starbucks, grocery store etc.
The grocery store is not that great, there are also some vagrants that frequent the area around there so just be aware of your surroundings.
They really need to fix the parking
Wow. Be prepared for this parking lot because it is a battle zone! The spaces are so small that we even saw some lady scrape the car next to her as she pulled out of her spot. Everyone screamed at her to stop, but she just kept on going. Oh you rascally Prius drivers!
The Ralphs opens at 5:00AM and there is usually a casheir close by to help you.
Chill place! Lots of stores n different foods! Good parking!
Nice little mall. Great health food place and convenient Amazon book pickup. DryBar, swimsuits, etc.
Very trendy and hip. Lots of good restaurants that serves great menu. You can dine in or eat outside. It has plenty of popular stores, coffee shops and a large supermarket to boot.
Love this little strip mall. Has my favorite retail store ,Ann Taylor loft and a few healthy food choices for lunch.
reasonably good Mall in the parking can be tight during busy holiday shopping times. They have a Amazon pickup location that's really convenient with fast secure pick up service
Beautiful place to hang out in the sun, especially during this time. Great food and drinks. And one of the best views in LA.
So convenient to be across from the ramp
A lot of unique shops but the parking can be a nightmare. The parking lot is typically super busy even on the weekdays.
Overcrowded and almost impossible to find parking. I will say that there's a shop here for just about anything you need. You'll need to set aside 30-40 minutes to find parking and then another 30 to exit. No easy or which entry/exit here.
While they offer a variety of shops i frequent this mall strictly for the restaurants. Fresh Brothers, the Counter, Mendocino Farms, Rainbow Acres are among our faves, leasfing us to ignore the palpable LA-beautiful-people vibe.
Ok so this Ralphs has more of things like bread butter and milk. Has no a lot of canned goods and they're just letting everyone in at once. So not great if your trying to avoid being close to a lot of people.
Went to Ralph's Fresh Fare. Great selection of gourmet cheeses. Nice and clean very helpful staff.
Great shopping/ dining area, safe, food is very good, tons of options, would visit again
Besides the fact that you can’t pay with your phone, it’s small and weird.
Great variety of stores and restaurants! Just a few minutes walk to the beach!
Love the outside mall it's so peaceful and everyone is practicing social distancing. At Sephora they take you temperature before entering the store.
This is a good shopping mall but few of their stores are not really great.
Shake Shack, Sugarfish, Mendecino Farms, Ralphs - lots of options. Chill music vibe plays throughout the outdoor mall. What more could you ask for?
I usually prefer one of a kind artesian shops and this was a bit more commercial. But I do appreciate the features: a beautiful fountain, free WiFi, and a heated public outdoor seating area.
People were out enjoying the sunshine. If you can find a seat it's a nice place to be on the weekend.you can sit and read.
I love going here!
Great place for lunch and a chat. Lots of options.
Came here for Bella cleaners! Great service and affordable!
Ralph's, Sephora and plenty more. Love that there isn't a crazy 20 minute limit on all the spots. Beware: the dry cleaner will tow you.
Great shopping center but not nearly enough parking (People get a bit nuts about it)
I just found out there's an Amazon store here. Free shipping on returns! I'm already an Amazon junkie, but this will help me feed my habit. Book recommendations, Amazon Basic products in stock, some sales. Scope it out.
Super clean and good spots...just REAL CROWDED! Overall, a great, clean spot...thanks!
Beautiful place to walk and enjoy the scenery. Great for lunch and shopping.
Quite beautiful beach for paddle boating and kayaking. Nice view of harbor with all kinds of boats anchored. Rentals and lessons available.
Parking and navigation is a bit difficult due to the small pathways. Lots of eating space however! Traffic can get bad around here.
Just a sample of some of things you'll see in this pleasant area. It's always crowded because it's popular.
Very nice elegant place to visit. You can sit with your coffee by the fountain on a nice day outside or have Pizza or do your banking there.
Lovely shopping center. Very clean, there are always parking spots available. You can find everything you need here.
I went to Brighton for Soles4Souls shoe donations. Spoke with a wonderful person who was extremely helpful. I told her, I will definitely return with my shopping buddy.
Open air shopping center consisting of lots of places to eat, a couple of clothing stores and 1 of the only Amazon Book Stores I have ever seen.
Beautiful. Classy...but not a snobby feel. Good vibes. Great shops. Good food choices. Lil pricey..worth a visit.
Great shopping center but the parking lot is always packed and spaces are very small.. Looking forward to Shake Shack opening soon!
Great shops and plenty of parking.
Great location too.
Good place to shop and safe never had a problem there
Love this Plaza. Great place for vegeterian food to really good steaks, drinks and much more. I go here about 4 times a week.
I'd give it five stars for an excellent experience, but the parking situation is just horrendous. Good selection of stores though.
It's a busy area and parking was hard to find but it's a nice area to shop/eat and close to the beach.
This is one of my favorite spots nice eateries nice little shopping areas it's just really nice and comfortable. Shopping in this area and just enjoying the day
Great to have outdoor seating for dining and socializing, with heat lamps for cool evenings.
Excellent parking facilities, safe neighborhood and a pretty nice area close to the waterfront. The selection of shops is excellent with supermarkets, restaurants and coffee places.
Beautiful ... lots of parking..not cheap,,,lots of places to eat and the bars are nice...do not litter!!! Lots of beautiful foreign women... remember you are not a local...
Nice place but why is the Sheriff's always looking up license plates...like this is the Marina Del Rey..they make it so uncomfortable to be there
Friday and Saturday is almost impossible to find a parking spot😬 …
Great dentist office looking out to the water.
Good food, groceries, and Starbucks. What else do you need
This is where I get my boop enforcer, chicken broth.
Sit in my car like I used to with my dad looking at the scenery it's very peaceful if you need a moment for yourself go here. I go here when I miss my dad to clear my mind!!!!
Awesome place, nice restaurants, very open, very clean, people are very friendly, and I had a lot of fun
Great food. Great service.
An upscale mall that suits the marina quite nicely. They have a relatively large parking lot given the size of the plot of land they're on, but it's always full.
Beautiful location, right on the water. Nice eateries. Boat rides and tours. 4th of July great day to visit!
Fun place
Overcrowded, a pain finding parking and a lot of ride people driving around the lot. Good luck backing out of your parking spot.
Good shopping and dining, same developer as the Grove. Chipotle, Sephora, CPK, The Counter and a Pink Berry + lots more. Parking can be a mess!
Great place to walk around. Good food options. Parking can be a pain weekends.
Very beautiful very nice place great location especially for the Marina del Rey nightlife
There is a good variety of stores and restaurants here and plenty of free parking.
Love the food, coffee & shopping all in one place. And Ralph's too! Friendly atmosphere

Quite a lovely spot to hang out by the Romanesque fountain while catching a quick bite/coffee/tea or just people watching
Nice place to shop
Nice variety of stores and lots of parking
Too many cars, too little parking. Some nice restaurants and shops. I went to the sushi place, it was very good.
On the first floor they have a special desk to buy gift cards, make exchanges and pick up online orders. Super fast, no hassle.
Always great to site see, be close to the water, beautiful, great restaurants for all budgets. I LOVE L.A.!!
Love this place. Parking can be a little tough, but my favorite shops and restaurants make it worth it.

Great Location with all type of shops.
Amazon has a nice well stocked store and customer service was excellent.
Forget The Key West,Islamorada.Marina Del Rey got it all -Relaxing atmosphere, breathing views, new yacht slips....
Closest shopping area to my place where I can do everything I need to. Grocery, make-up, clothes shopping, ups store, bank, nails, food, listen to Sinatra by the fountain with coffee in my hand.
I was there for like 10 minutes in a car, amazing experience, was quite hot
It's a really nice place to shop, take a walk and also very good restaurants around!!
Great parking but a lot of the stores are closed
A wonderful slice of how Los Angeles capitalises on being a coastal city with a large public space for boat and watersport enthusiasts.
Good place to grab a coffee and shop. Lots of free parking.
I love shopping here for gifts. They have everything, it's a cheerful atmosphere, and it's close to home.
Been going here since I was a kid. I've watched it change over the years and it's always been a pleasant experience
Another great day trip, but with challenging parking spots.
Sugarfish! So fresh. Our weekly go-to
One stop shopping. Parking lot is way to small for the amount of businesses located here.
Perfect area to spend the day waterside shopping & haveing a bite to eat
Wonderful, kind and always Christmas ish in it's vibe. Outdoor, classy, local low key.
Crowded parking lot, not any particular guided arrows to follow, lots of rude agitated folks.
Great shopping/ eatery center. Just super busy since there is many great options.
Parking can be hit or miss depending on the rush, but the plaza overall is very clean and has a good variety of shops.
Every thing you need there. Nice and clean. Good prices. Nice people.
Nice and clean place to enjoy lunch with the great ocean breeze
Best Ralph's in California
-just dropping my clothes for laundry & picking up the rest at Bella Cleaners
Starbucks stop...the Plaza is a favorite. Cute boutique stores and great dining options!
Pretty shopping center with a Ralphs Grocery store. Good place to get lunch, like Mendocino Farms. Parking can be bad, though.
Its beatiful there, makes marina del rey alive alittle instead of being just a big boats parking lot.
On the boat and had NO complaints about the way YOU could be a great time with my lack of sexual interest in her
Good quick bite options in this plaza.
Love all the restaurants and shops here. Good for a stroll
Love this shopping center for lunch options outdoor, shopping and manicures

Nice shopping center with a decent amount of outdoor seating, but the parking lot is a madhouse.
Nice, clean but not a very large shopping mall. More like a fancy strip mall.
All the fancy foods here. Parking is absolutely insane. Be ready for battle.
Love this location has a bit of all your tastes and enjoyable atmosphere.
This atypical strip Mall has many upper end stores and eateries. Definitely a place to stop by if you are in town.

Great shopping center, parking can be tough sometimes at busy hours.
Many shops. Many restaurants. A supermarket. At times, crowded parking. The Bank of America is closed because of virus.
Small shopping center, very busy...make sure you are driving defensively.
While I enjoy all the shops, I do not enjoy the shortage of parking spaces.
I like the Ralphs here, even if its dowager clientele hit on the pretty young things.
