Reviews of Downtown Container Park
Alicia Marin
This is a small shopping center with a great playground in the middle of it. The containers are the unique feature and function well for this small mall/food court kind of place. There's a stage at one end so they must do a lot of live events. We went mid-day for the kids. The kids loved the playground and the pile of huge Lego-type blocks near the stage. There were a couple of big bathrooms, which was really nice. The only downside was there wasn't much to eat that was kid friendly. We needed up having Mob's pizza, the godfather special, which was really kid friendly. The sauce was mild, but not bland. I recommend it for families. If you have kids, you can spend a few hours here, without kids, I can't see spending more than an hour, unless there's an event going on.

This is a fun little spot located on Fremont Street.
Container Park is surrounded by shipping containers which house some pretty cool stores to buy food, drinks, clothing, hand bags, candy, souvenirs, and so much more. They also have pubs, bars, and other eateries in case you want to grab a bite or get some drinks (outside food and drinks are not allowed in the park).
If you stick around long enough, you can also watch the fire show of the Praying Mantis, which begins at 5:30pm or dusk, and happens every 30 minutes until 11pm. It’s pretty cool to watch the Praying Mantis bob it’s head to some hit music, while shooting out fire that can reach up to 6 stories tall.
There is a children’s playground located in the middle of the park with some interactive activities to keep them entertained, however, keep in mind that children are not allowed in the park after 9pm, as you must be 21 and over to enter at that point.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re coming down to Fremont Street
Live Free and Play Hard
A great alternative to Fremont Street or the Strip. Lots of small shops, restaurants, bars, activities. Actually on Fremont Street further down from the light display. It is a nice walk to get there and along the way there are some really cool places to stop in. Once there, it is a really laid back and nice vibe with a bit of class. Who would have thought repurposing shipping containers into viable businesses centered in an entertainment district would become all the rage? It certainly is and well worth the trip to check out.
Jonathan Greenstein
What a great venue! A mix of shops and restaurants with a decidedly Vegas vibe - unique in every way and just a fun place.
You know your here when you see the Flaming Mantis out front and then the sign for the Downtown Container Park.
The venue is built out of multiple shipping containers and features unique shops and restaurants. A playground and treehouse is the central feature and a lively stage sits at the back of the park. Tables and chairs ring the playground where they will deliver your food order.
Definitely worth the visit day or night

A fun place to walk around eat some good food, shop, have a drink and listen to live music! A definite must go whether your a local or just visiting! Family friendly as well until 9pm when it becomes 21 and over.
Caroline Hackney
We visited midweek and it was very quiet, but there's much more action at the weekends. If you want to see what creative, "out of the box" buildings look like, this is a good place to visit. The central area has plenty of space for children (of all ages) to play, including a fun treehouse as well as giant Lego, chess, etc. on an Astroturfed area. The shops and restaurants are a departure from the usual standard fare which is refreshing. By far our favorite thing was the fire-shooting mantis. It makes a great backdrop for photos, especially if you can time it to coincide with the fire display. Would not recommend on a weekday night.
TURKEY RED
I was curious to see what was here. It's a nice little area with various art gallery, food, and gift shops. There's a stage and I was lucky enough to catch a performance. If you are lucky enough to be greeted by the praying mantis out front, you will know.
Smoking Man
Really nice eclectic shops with a lot of local artists products for sale. The praying mantis out front is awesome! Everyone should go see this Center and buy something from a local artist!
Melystikal
Underrated Vegas spot. Didn't know about this place until I did a bit of research and wanted to come see the praying mantis. Parking was right across the street and they had a unique art park right next to the mantis. Alot of art to see and definitely a photo op spot.
Cynthia Hernandez
Really cute place to get away from the Fremont craziness. There are 3 story's of shops that have alot of cute stuff. There is a kids playground there in the middle so there are a few kids running around. But it is something to check out of you are in Fremont area.
john lara
Nice place to meet up.
Mainly outside seating with many stores. Didn’t see bathrooms but I’m sure they have them.
Located close to Fremont Street so you can easily walk.
Sheri Lucas
We love watching the “praying mantas” come to life and you will immediately know if someone has not see in it before. There are unique shops, restaurants, bars and play structures here. It was mostly closed when we arrived later in the evening so can’t say much else. It is worth the trip out and a walk around but do it earlier in the day when everything is open!
Larry Canonica
Super fun container mall right next to Fremont Street in Las Vegas. Do some light shopping. Maybe grab a snack.
There's also a nice playground in the center of the container mall. So, it's a pretty good place to bring kids.
Sonia Guillen
Fun and entertaining place. I took my girls there for a few hours and we enjoyed the play area as well as the food. Will be visiting again soon!!
P Handy
Love this place. Plenty of food, drinks, sweets, and seating. There's a stage here as well. 2 levels. Make sure to check it all out. There's retail stores with unique clothing. And a Jungle Gym in the middle, adult sized btw. 👀 ✋️ 🛑 lol. Have fun. Pictures by @OnePrimephoto …
Shannon Rosendale
Love the whole setup and cool main playground. Lots of cute stores though most are expensive down to everything $5 type. The area in front has lounge furniture in front of the stage and building blocks (though filthy)
Paula Nichols-Brown
My boyfriend and I ventured down to the other part of Freemont Street when we stumbled onto this part.
We were stunned by the praying mantis who decided to light up the sky for a 5-minute performance. We walked around, found a quaint pizza shop for a late dinner.
Great place for kids and adults who need a break from the craziness of Freemont Street.
aJoshNamedLee
Honestly the only negative thing is that you have to pay for parking, and the machine is grimey and nasty looking, oh and it wont print receits! So goodluck if a parking enforces dishes a ticket, you wont have anything substantial to show… would have made sense for them to have the machine print one if they’re enforcing… especially for the $5 price i would have gladly spent on coffee or a hotdog… other than that though aesthetics wise its different and i wouldnt mind hanging out here with my friends
Its small though i must have walked around it in less than 10 minutes… i bet it gets crowded at night…
Its a nice place to meet your friends for brunch though…
That is if your friends dont mind paying the parking fee… but i bet they do… 🤷🏻♂️
Hops & Hardways
SO FUN! Great free fun for adults and kids. Lots of shopping and eating to do while the kids play in the middle jungle gym area. They have live entertainment and a GIANT MANTIS THAT SPITS FIRE!!! I loved a lot of the shops here, cute quirky artsy things - even a plant store! We've eaten here before, tried to get the boba our last trip but they were closed. Overall, if you're downtown this is super close (walkable) and a great time for everyone. Very clean area for being in the midst of downtown. Lots of dining and shopping options (I highly recommend the pizza place on your right when you first come it. It was awesome)
Joe Hughes
We took my grandson here and we enjoyed it. Right down on Fremont Street. Slides,. T-shirts, coffee etc. Just be aware of your surroundings.
Tyra White
Very cute space just outside of the Fremont Experience. Unique shopping, casual restaurants, and a good place for families. The spaces here seem to close pretty early for Vegas (we were there around 5pm on a Saturday), but overall nice tourist landmark for stop by.
Vio
Nice and chill place to relax and let the kids have a bit of fun. Nice selections of restaurants and stores.
Maryam Outadi
Fun place for family and kids. Has a playground area which it’s super fun for kids. Have small store and restaurants. Close to Fremont .
Stephanie Zimmerman
Incredibly chill vibes… so contrary from Fremont street and the strip. The playground here is absolutely amazing. Tons of large bricks and chalk for the kids to build and design- Wish I lived closer to bring my toddler to explore! Awesome concepts all around. Fun shops and boutiques, great food, and an enjoyable day trip for sure.
Viva Las Vegas !

This place was pretty cool. There are all kinds of shops here & a few bars. Unfortunately it doesn't seem they stay open late but the bars do. There's not a big crowd with is a nice spot to get away from freemont. It's cool to check out how they used containers to build this. Even the park in the center is made with containers. It's a cool spot for the littles to enjoy. Make sure to check out the praying mantous, they put on a cool show at night.
Jeniss Tejada
OMG, coolest little find ever! Family friendly, lots of cute shops and restaurants, place for kids to Play. If you're near Fremont, take the time to visit the container park!
Sara Peterson
What a great hidden gem! We went after 9pm so most of the shops were closed. But the park is well designed, and a very nice place to hangout and eat! There is also a unique playground for kids with giant Legos!
cory voight
Catered more twords families than actual down town Fremont. They have plenty of little shops for clothing, food, snacks, and a live band to sit down and relax at the end of the park. It also has a nice big playground in the middle, which makes it a great place to bring kids.
Jonah Obil
My kids and I love coming here for the music, restaurants, shops, playground, events and the praying mantis fire show.
Schanny Fernandez
It was fun, just very hot. The one thing I did not like was that the restaurants close early. Like 7. And of course the pay to park.
Soghomon
Pretty cool concept in downtown Las Vegas. Stores and restaurants located inside containers decorated in all kinds of flashy colors. Artistic as the containers themselves are, the area is also studded with other kinds of art installations making this a truly cool trip
Shani Hubbard
AMAZING! Every little shop is a container, a great playground for the kids in the center, makes you really think about building a container home.
Walker Brooks
Really cool spot to hang out, grab some food and beverages, shop a little, let kids play on playground, then walk down to Fremont street.
Will Alvarado
Great shops, and restaurants! Love bringing people here to show them the embodiment and vibe of Downtown and the arts district.
I went for brunch with friends and had the best bottomless mimosas, got dessert from the delicious ice cream shop and bought myself a shirt when I was feeling too hot.
It seemed like they literally had a little bit of everything.
The amphitheater area has lawn games and places to hang out in the shade.
The bathrooms are nice and clean. And the art exhibits in front are really cool to see.
I would highly recommend you to check it out.
Jessikah Prince
I definitely enjoy bringing my kids here. Between the amazing different foods adult beverages, live music and huge play area for kids all ages is pretty cool. They always have something going on and most of the time it's free. Atmosphere is very chill and never overcrowded *at least whenever my family goes. Always worth the trip.
Albert Talcott
Really unique little place! 4 stars because there were a lot of shops not open, on a Saturday. Seemed a bit strange. But the places that were open were really awesome! Really quiet and interesting to look at. There is a lot of space designated for kiddos and their parents to play and relax, which I think is great (even though we don’t have kids). There are signs talking about tickets (I think to a beer thing?) but you don’t need to buy tickets just to walk around. I say that because the signage isn’t super clear and I wasn’t the only one confused. Have fun!
AJ
Went fir the first time and it was pretty cool. I will have to return to try some of the food and drinks and visit the shops.
Adam Chapman
The way they used containers is pretty cool. The park is really awesome. Wisk I was a kid still so I could get on it
Helen Brinkley
GREAT place for small children to play with food, shopping, public bathrooms, and outdoor seating. Located at the end of attractions on Fremont Street.
Jared Jones
The kids play area is pretty cool. Staff seem to be making an effort for this place to be really great! Lots of shops and food. I didn't visit them but I think there are restrooms available. Parking is paid either in a lot or on the street but it's affordable.
Brandon Nowak
I didn't know I needed a flame throwing mantis in my life till today. Don't miss the whiskey bar in the back, great spot.
Kyle Brown
Cool location and unique build. Had a decent selection of stores
Rod Gullo
The container park is a great idea to revitalize a previously run down dangerous area of downtown. There is a wide selection of businesses in a very nicely designed space. The flame breathing praying mantis at the entrance is a very cool draw for tourist selfies. The praying mantis is illuminated every night, but the flame breathing only occurs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.
Joe D
Fun for the whole family! Games, shopping, food, drinks, a playground, and even live music! I haven't been here since this place first opened, but I'm happy we came back on such a beautiful summer night. My son had such a fun time here, and i didn't spend a dime! You can't really beat that!
Taylor Lee
I think this place is very, very cool. I went for the first time on Christmas Eve with my child to see Santa. It’s artsy and fun, the kids have tons to do. Such as a play center, Tree house area for kids to play in, along with large connect four, legos, and checkers. There’s beer for adults, and they had live music when I went. And the containers are built into little shops. You have to see it for yourself, I don’t think you’ll regret it!
I personally, will definitely be visiting again.
Shell L
Really cool place made out of shipping containers to visit, sit and relax. Plenty of small shops and dessert places to try and munch on. There is also a giant grasshopper structure out by the entrance that does a mini show. Very cool and unique experience.
Katie Curtis
Neat little place. Wish we'd have came on another weekend (most places closed for holiday, which we understood)
Jim Peterson
Not as exciting as it was the last time we were there, but I guess we were there later and most of the shops were closed. Had some drinks at a couple places and I am always impressed with what they can accomplish with used containers!
Aura Holmes
Best place in Vegas. The whole family can enjoy a playground, movies on some nights, lots of restaurants and a playing area for kids of all ages. Go to Pinches Tacos for some good food and great parking structure across the street.
Ms Ali
Great place to go with the family or with friends. They have live band and music is great. Shops are amazing . You can walk around and enjoy restaurants and cute shops . Best thing is the big statue that blows out fire right in the front entrance it amazing. Definitely recommend this place . I absolutely loved it .
time traveler
Nice little curcle- shaped outdoor mall, with a children's playground in the middle and visible from all around. So parents can keep an eye on children from wherever they are. Was there on Black Friday, so maybe not as crowded as it usually might be, but it wasn't too crowded. Merchants were very friendly.
Simply Lethia
Lovely, has a park in the center. It gets very hot, so dress accordingly. Near a great Gelato spot, check them out. Try the Horchata Gelato 😉 …
Liam Lindemann
The funniest thing is the ant installation at the entrance. The bars and stores aren't really surprising - you can visit them, but you won't miss anything either.
Jaynee 13
I keep going back and finding new stores to explore. The balsamic vinegar store is my new favorite. Very cool playground for kiddos. Family friendly during the day.
shanna d
Had high hopes of this place and was slightly disappointed. It was at least nice and neat. Had a nice quaint Mexican food restaurant. Plenty of playground for kids. A bunch of shops and other food.. and the fire blowing mantis in the front was a cool show..
Soly Ppp
Cool place. Nice for kids. Kinda pricey for vendors
don b
Was closed when we got there but we will return. Neat shops and things for the kids to do.
Jenna Chamblin
The last time I was here was in 2018 around Christmas. It was a really cool experience then and plenty of people were shopping. However, this time I visited felt very empty and lacking the same energy from before. We stayed like 10 minutes before getting bored and moving on.
Wes Inaba
Super cool concept with this concentration of shipping containers on Fremont in Vegas with various shops and services.
Laina Smith
A fun place to visit away from the busy Strip. A cool fire breathing metal praying mantis near the entrance seems straight out of Burning Man. Cute shops, including Bin 702, where we happened to catch happy hour. Actual craft beers for $5 each is one of the best deals I've found in Vegas. There's also a treehouse-like playground for kids and a Zoltar machine for those who wish to be big.
James Hatch
This is a neat place that looks like it's meant for kids but really is fr the adults. Lots of neat little shops in the containers (with A/C), a neat little spot to hang out when it's not 100 degrees outside in the direct sun.
N Golightly
We actually couldn’t go into container Park because they are not dog friendly but from what we could see it’s a great vibe. Great art installations all around the area. A must see.
Brian Reynolds
Cool spot! A few shops, but defintly more of a hang spot. A good selection of eats and drinks and some great places just to sit and chill with friends. Also, if your a family in town and looking for a fun little spot for you and the kids, they've got a killer climb structure and some fun games. Check it out if you're heading downtown.
Rachel H
Cute shopping center already decorated for Christmas! Short walk from Fremont Street and has lovely live music after dark. Check it out!
Jen Rickey
This is a very unique open-air park. There’s no entrance fee to get in. Children are welcome until 9 pm but is 21+ after then. The park is basically built of big metal storage containers placed two stories high with a big treehouse, seating areas, and a huge open lawn area with large chaises in the center of the park. There is also a stage to host entertainment. The containers themselves have been turned into boutique shops and unique restaurants. The huge tree house has a small gated area to keep little ones from running off. It’s a really interesting, unique place with a cool vibe. There’s a cute little gourmet hotdog place called Cheffini’s near the entrance of the park that serves up unique combinations of hotdogs and burgers. Some even have chips on them. They’re delicious and I highly recommend. This park is located before Fremont street in downtown Vegas. A stop here would be a great way to start your afternoon before heading to Fremont Street for the night. If you have kids, they will love this place. Not only for the giant treehouse but for the open area where they can run around and play with giant lego-type blocks. Check it out. You won’t regret it. I will say that our visit was pre-Covid so make sure to do your research if you plan on going.

Container Park is truly a gem in old downtown Vegas. Great place to escape and unwind from Fremont St. Wonderful little shops to visit. Huge playground for the kids.
Angel Gutierrez
We loved this place!! I recommend spending the day here wheather you have kids or not. Everyone was friendly, a bunch of great little shops, and amazing food and drinks. The best part for my kids was the giant tree house/play area hands down! But it's great for adults too 😜 …
Jim Ang
Like the place but parking felt bit worry
Cesar Castaneda
Very nice place to visit with the whole family, great playgrounds for kids with lots of open spaces to run and attractions to play. Just be aware that if you come with kids you have to leave after 9pm. They have very comfy booths and chairs all around and a small concert venue where local artist perform with good sound and light equipments. Excellent restaurants and bars, where only small local business are allowed, kudos for supporting our locals. At the entry you'll enjoy the show of a fire throwing giant Praying Mantis, really fun to watch specially once is dark. Dome cinema showing short films, very cool. This is just 3 blocks away from The Fremont street and very convenient parking just around the corner. Visit this place and you won't be disappointed.

It was great, except! MY BIKE WAS STOLEN. IT WAS LOCKED UP ON THE CORNER OF 7TH AND CARSON this was in day time while browsing around the container Park Mall. After doing 49 miles yesterday up to the hover dam. My only means of transportation, being a broke traveler. Has really put a downer on my old town Vegas experience.
Kelly Carver
Collection of stores in old shipping containers. Be sure to see the locks there too.
Nadia Cornett Lomprey
Cool place to party and they had a live band
Cali Chriss
Fun little family oriented spot very close to the fremont experience. It is built from containers so the feel and vibe are artistic . Also has fire canons that go out about every 10 min with a big display about every 45 min. If you go in and walk to the back there's games and a kids area. You can eat and shop in the container Park. Definitely check out waffelato one of my favorites...
Scott Wright
Downtown Container was so awesome! We didn't even know it was there, just happened to be walking by and came upon A HUGE praying mantis! So we had to go hand out. My kids would live there if they could. We had a great time even without the kids. Cool environment; it feels like you enter a mini amusement park. Highly recommend it!
birdhunter9999
This is an interesting little place with some neat shops. I actually found some of the best deals on souvenirs here that were much cheaper for the same merchandise we found in other shops. A bit quieter and kid friendly as well. Also decent food available. Overall a neat concept and worth a visit if you have a couple hours to kill.
Stephen
What a nice initiative to open up something so industrial and urban here!
You can find several stores here, as well some food places.
The stores itself could be more interesting, something more to do with design or urban style would fit more here.
There is a lot of potential in this place though!
I was also here in November, perhaps in high season there are other stores here and more things to do.
Jason Deuce Brandt
I was at the Downtown Container Part to help my friend Tony B host an event that cellebrated and honored US Veterans. You could not find a better open air option to do this type of event. I estimate more then 1000 people came through to see all the action. Next year it will be even bigger!
The Downtown Las Vegas Container Park is an amazing and wild place that has much to do for everyone. For the family there is a playground area that uses shipping containers in a unique way, the lawn area has a stage for presentations and many large Lego style blocks (genereric not Lego brand) for young kids to play with while adults can sit and lounge in comfortable chairs, there are 3 levels of shops with everything from retail oddities to food to tax services too many options to list here, the main attraction is the Mantis a giant mechanical and iron praying mantis that moves and at night shoots fire into the air a truely rare and exciting attraction everyone who visits Las Vegas should plan on visiting.
Overall 5 Stars just make sure you don't wander too far down Fremont Street east after 12th street it gets gritty quickly.
Ram Kumar
Great spot to visit when you're in Vegas. It's within walking distance from Freemont Street. There are retail shops, restaurants and bars here. I visited this place during the day and there weren't many people. Also, it was really hot. It's definitely best when you visit in the evening because the place is more lively and the weather's fine. The main attraction is the 35-foot-tall praying mantis sculpture that shoots flames from its antennae later in the evening. I was impressed with all the work of art that went into creating this park. This place is well maintained and I would definitely recommend it.
Roger Beaujard
Awesome outdoor venue that supports young artists in downtown Las Vegas. Plenty of awesome food around too, this place smells awesome the second you start walking in towards the stage area. Cool seating also, get there early for your event as there are only a few places to sit. Great place to bring the kids for some music, good, and fun outside.
Carl Cencig
Something for everyone. Just a very chill place to hang out, eat some good food and have a few drinks. Also good place for families to come down and play on the structures in the park, while the parents listen to live music, chill and enjoy some conversation and refreshments.
L L
Great place for all ages .kids ran wild at the playground and we adults Enjoyed happy hour drinks then stopped at the candy store 😋
Definitely coming back!!!! …
Ashley Shoemaker
Really cool little spot. Fun for our 8 year old and good shopping for momma. Vegan food available!
Manatees Moo
Great place to take a break from the usual Las Vegas experience. The park offers family friendly fun and leisure. There is a playground for kids along with some shops, bars and restaurants around it. Great place for parents to relax while kids burn some energy.
Nehal Ahmed
Cool spot for hangout and shopping. Has plenty of bars and couple of children playgrounds. When we were there, the grasshopper outside the park was doing a fire show. The associates are always around to help or answer any question. This park has a lot of foot traffic but really cozy and fun place to spend some quality time around Fremont st area.
Billy Elser
Very original place. All the stores and eateries are made out of shipping containers. Everything we looked at was ridiculously priced and the food and drink ( Beer, wine, cocktails ) were outrageous! Over $24.00 for a Bloody Mary and a Whiskey. Nice play area for the kids. This is suppose to be for the neighborhood however I don't know how most people would be able to afford this place very often. Very clean and the vendors are very pleasant. This is something this area has needed for a long time just need to get the prices inline.
Christopher Anderson
Nice place to take a break just a few blocks from Fremont. A nice place for families. Nice play area for the kiddos.
Ru Be
Talk about a unique place, Container Park downtown is amazing! This place will blow your mind along with all the containers in it. I don't know if you can contain yourself, but if you can't and there's always Container Park. The main entrance behind above the container right when you get in is a pyrotechnics flamethrower that just shoots fire straight up in the air every. I don't know for a couple of minutes. Maybe. It's pretty blown out of proportion, but it's fun and exciting for everybody that's contained in this park. Park. Lots of cool little shops and a little playground for the little tiny humans, or even the big humans. There's a cool design of a praying Mantis just before you walk into the park.
Karin Haspell
It's a short walk from Fremont St. There is a big play area in the center which is great for young kids. Just a unique little place to walk around. Several options for food and drink. And several small shops to brows around. When you need a break from the crazy busy Downtown, just take a short walk.
Gurp Dhanoa
I visited this place during the day. There wasn't much happening here but I'm sure it comes alive during the night. It's close enough to Freemont street experience if you get bored here. There are some play area for kids that they would love. A treehouse playground with multiple slides. When I visited only the bottom slides were available to use. The shops here are interesting but are quite small due to being containers. Fans and misters are here but the heat makes them useless. Some seating with shade is available. It's cool to see this place if you have kids, I'd probably skip it if your looking for something to do but it's close enough to Freemont street to check out if your willing to walk 5 minutes.
SILVINA YOULE
This park was entertaining to see . Its all made out of recycled material.
The dragon at the entrance blows out fire through its mouth but only at night.
Tony ManAboutTown
This is an awesome little hideaway in the heart of old downtown. A definite must see and experience. Make sure you stop in at Chaffin's for some unique gourmet hot dogs, your tummy will thank you for the pleasant surprise.
Mark Stegner
I love this place. If you visit Fremont don't miss this! Just walk a bit further down the same street. The big fire breathing praying mantis truck out front is hard to miss. A lot of variety of small shops in a nicely decorated park. Great play areas for the kids and snacks and even adult beverages for the parents. Don't miss the toy store or jerky shop. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Alex Gallardo
This place is a must if you are in the Fremont area. Every time I go here I always find something new. There are some great bars and restaurants and a great place to just relax and enjoy some fun games and art pieces.

We enjoyed walking to the container part from the fremont street. There were a lot of cool places to see, shops coffee, ice cream, restaurant, fast food, a kids playground really cool if your there with kids.
Thomas Lee
Fun place in downtown Las Vegas with a unique environment. The praying mantis is a photo magnet. They have unique shops and bars with a playground for children that can run wild while the parents enjoy a drink. Live music and food keeps the place hopping
Diana Oskov
A hidden gem right in downtown. The kids playground is so creative and unusual and fun for the kids. The small shops are all local food and artists. It is simply amazing. Go over, have fun, have a great drink with a taesty food and enjoy the entertainment and the best is you will be supporting small local business. Priceless.
L Cruz
Nice place little smaller than I thought it would be. Great for lunch and to keep kids busy
Jenni Vegas
Brought my three-year-old here and we had a blast. They have this big area where kids can sit and play with humongous Lego pieces. That was pretty neat! Although I was expecting a little bit more, this is the first time I’ve been here and I’ve heard so much about it before and was slightly disappointed because it’s a lot smaller than what I imagined. Overall this is a good place to bring your kids and enjoy for a short couple hours.
Dakota Dancy
A must see if you're going to Fremont Street!
Lots of shipping containers were converted into shops that sell a wide variety objects and services. These range from a toy store all the way to a tattoo parlor in a caboose!
The middle of this establishment has a park that is for the kiddos during the day and turns into an adult only park at night. Just go, you won't regret it.
Sincitian “SinCitian”
Very cool place with or without kiddos. There is always something going on here and if you've done everything there's plenty of great food to scarf down. We'll be coming back again and again. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the stores were all very unique.
Ben Swift
Super fun area filled with start ups and passionate people. Tons of neat stores and great Bars/restaurants with more interesting selections than you'll find on the strip (and at a much better price as well). This was by far my most favorite place in Vegas.
Justin Bayoneto
Nice shopping area with plenty of shops and restaurants. The design is really cool and theres a great play area not only for the kids, but adults too if you dare ride down the really tall slide! Dining options are diverse and inexpensive, plenty of seating.
Zahra Kent
We went on a weekday in the afternoon. It was so empty. My son, 10, loved the playground and played for an hour. My daughter, 12, really enjoyed the $5 store. She bought a shirt and leggings, pretty cute for $10 picture added . We got boba tea from the boba tea shop. It was good but service there was bad. Went looking for bottled water, prices for a bottle were between $1.75-$3. Ended up buying from the $5 store for $1. They seem to have the best prices. Many of the stores were empty and closed so it wasn't that fun to walk around. Music was good and at an appropriate volume. Worth going but don't pay for more than 1 hour of parking, not much to do (at least when we were there) parking was $3/hour

Downtown Container Park is a cute little place to hangout. There are shops and eateries. There is even a playground that does in the middle that kids can run around and play on. There's also an area in from of the stage that people can dance ir kids can play. The food shops are reasonably priced. There is a great structure outside of the entrance where you and your honey can place a line lock on!
Gabriela Merino
Great place to enjoy with family or friends. Live music and great atmosphere.
Laura Darveaux
Great The little place with some fun shops and bars and eateries
Elvira Brown
Fun spot to hang out with or without the kids. Enjoyed some lemonade at the playground. Lots of shade and misters. A few shops and restaurants and people walking around enjoying the outdoors. This was my second time visiting from California and I enjoyed it with my kids. Can't wait to try it out next time for a date night.
Marie Cervantes
Its such a beautiful place! Totally recommend if you're in the area to check it out! And beautiful lil spot for photo ops! Pinche Tacos also has some awesome Tacos and delish margaritas!!
Ash
My whole family loved the container park. The tree house was really cool to play in. There's a really cool toy store. Pretty good shopping. There are multiple places to get Vegan food here (even vegan jerky which I haven't tried yet but have heard its amazing).
Akai Sasori
I love this place more than any location in Las Vegas. It has a comforting vibe and it is the one spot everyone should walk through on Fremont Street. Candy Store, Vegan restaurant, Clothing stores, Giant Playground, and a large play area for kids to hangout and listen to music in this family environment. But after 10pm on Weekends the kids leave and the adults enjoy chilling adult beverages of all sorts. Oh and there's A CBD store if you are in pain. They take care of their patrons.
andrew bowden
Nice downtown park. Love container buildings. Check out this park with shops and entertainment right on Fremont Street Las Vegas
Pamela DeL
Great location to walk around, browse and have a drink. Several inexpensive shops for unique gifts.
Kim L
Cute little shopping center down town. Some of the shops are made from containers hence the name Container Park. Good place to take the kids and just kick back and relax. There's a playground for the kids to play in. The only thing is, there's no parking. It's downtown so you have to pay for parking on the streets or in parking garages.
tanja puhlmann (Tadpole13)
Staying on Fremont, I wanted to explore the area. I discovered the Container Park on a foodie tour and was absolutely thrilled with the concept, vibe and shops. Great start ups for a 3 month lease for entrepreneurs. Family friendly layout. I would love to see this in my community. It is on my 'must return'' on my next visit!
Alondra Clouse
My family and I love this place. Stores, food, and an amazing playground. They also do weekly events.
Benstergram_trades
Great place to visit. There are many business but they were already closed. Definitely recommend to stop by when in Vegas.
Krystle M
Container park is an amazing place to visit. Awesome shops and food places. Great playground in the middle. Very cool tattoo parlor in a old train. I love that it uses recycled materials! The world needs more spaces like this.
Martin Ridgway
This place is so cool and so neat! I absolutely love the preying mantis, it's the coolest thing ever. I always make it a point to stop in and see "him" everytime I'm in Vegas! Lots of fun and cool things to see.
John M. Oyerbides
More for the family but some nice gift shops and a nice place for live entertainment.
stacey Martin
Its a super cool place to drink and eat and shop! See a show on the stage and check out the flaming praying land is in the front! We had a great time there! Will definitely go again next time in Vegas!
Janda Custodia
Fun place to take the kids! They usually have live music and great ambiance and vibes.
Elizabeth Ray
This praying mantis was so cool! Wish we had known it blew fire my husband and I almost hit the ground as it sounded like a bomb going of when it started not good for Vets with PTSD from combat. But the show was cool!
R.K. B.
This was a hidden gem. Downtown Vegas keeps giving!!!! I loved it. I knew I wanted to go to the Container Park, I had read up on spots downtown. I was really just going to check out the Preying Mantis for photo ops. But after a little more research, I found out it had a Cigar shop, candy shop, jerky store, the cutest little wedding chapel, and much more. A great place to shop eat, shop, and relax. The Cheffini's hot dog place was excellent as well. Hubby loved them.
**Update**
Went this year 2018, and sorry to say and see that the wedding chapel has closed, permanently.
foreverlast98 davis
It's container park, what can I say? Nice place to walk around with your boo or what have you. Can't bring food in but maybe that has changed idk. I like the tree house jungle gym thing and the fire breathing T-REX sculpture 😁 …
Frednando Bothwell
Container park was a welcoming site at the end of the old Vegas strip. Shops, food, drinks and music. Place for kids to play in the daytime.
Melanie Sumner
Nice place to meet someone and have a beverage. Chat catch up or just enjoy eachothets company. Some shopping. Plenty if shade for out door sitting. Bar area has a deck looking out over the kid play area. Enjoyed the Olive oil shop. If you know someone with the tast for supper hot. You will finding there.
Lynn Allan
This is a family inclusive attraction with a unique twist. I wish I could have visited at night but I had fun while visiting. Plenty of stores and places to eat. Just be mindful of road closures as it relates to the ongoing construction project(s). Also, there are a lot of murals near this attraction. Check out an E-Scooter tour with Atomic Scooters! I posted a few photos of the murals as well.
Katya
If you are looking for a fun and safe place for your kids to play, this is it. There are stores to shop at, plenty of food and a convenient restroom. The staff at the playground were friendly and professional. Although I wasn't comfortable using this feature you can leave the kids in the park while you shop.
Nickole Mitchell
Need idea! Wish we had visited while mote shops were open - or I wish more shops would extends hours. :)
The praying mantis is quite a site! Would like to see a show in the dome next time.
Dr.Mai AlSalman
Wonderful place with many shops . Tree house is amazing.
DeVon Abbas
Very cool place!!! Be sure to check it out both during the day and at night. Shops, music, restaurants. Loved it!
Alixandria Good
The container park is really neat and we all really enjoyed the food we got there at two of the restaurants (the hot dog place and I can’t remember the other) The playground was really fun looking, and the stage/yard area would be a great place to watch live entertainment. There were a lot of empty shops though. Would visit again if more shops opened up here.
Julian D Vigay (Jul)
It's just so good and so unexpected definitely get the carne asada tacos from the Mexican place. All the stores are very very cool the entertainment is very relaxing and the environment is so much fun. They say Vegas is a entertainment grounds for adults this is the little entertainment area for you to bring the kids so they will sleep solid at night so that you can go out and have fun.
Angie Rigg
O my gosh this place is fabulous! Its a little peice of paradise in the middle of a city that never sleeps. Very family friendly. Clean restrooms, shopping places & plenty of foid options. Unfortunately I was traveling so unless Texas adopts this concept I wont get to visit again for a while! An absolute gem! They also had a silent DJ were everyone got to listen to jams with a head set. There was even a dance floor.
Julia Nichole Griggs
Make sure you catch The Mantis shortly after sunset. Of you want you kid to be able to help wake the mantis by participating in the drum circle make sure to arrive early. There are only a few drums. The pizza and hotdog place were yummy. The parks playground was well staffed with friendly employees who did not allow young children to leave with out a parent.
Audrianna Caldera
Oak and Ivy was the best part about this place. A truly awesome and unique bar. It's a must! And honestly the highlight of my trip to Vegas. I don't think I've ever found a place that offers bow tie lessons but I hope I remember how to do it later. There's some other nice shops and good eats in the area as well. Sasa pops, I think the place is called but had some really good refreshing options.
Freedom Bus Us In The Bus
Great place to shop, take the children to the awesome park, get some food, great candy shops and big Legos to play with, tattoo shop, stage with performances, and the Awesome Praying Mantis that shoots flames and dances to music. Such a cool place.
Ellie Rose Maas
This is a great little shopping area with a cool playground and even some food/drinks to be found. It’s continually changing with new businesses coming in and out, but always fun to go see what’s new there.
Marissa Kenkel
Really fun little place that has a nice park feeling in downtown. It's like another little world. Family friendly with lots of play areas, but great food/drink options for adults. Happy hour is a great time to visit!
James Dougherty
This was an unexpected find a short walk from the old town area on Fremont. A city park with shipping containers surrounding the perimeter, each housing it's own shop or bar. At the entrance was an interesting one of a kind art display, a large truck had been converted to a praying mantis with lights speakers and pyrotechnic displays. Every 30 min or so the display would play a song and the lights and pyrotechnics would go in time with the music.
Ytron301 T
We had so much fun there and there was a treehouse different types of restaurants to get food there was a lemonade popcorn place I had a blackberry pineapple lemonade very refreshing we ended up getting souvenirs everything was $5 and one of the stores they had a band playing and the kids were building blocks and playing chest a good place to go and it's free to get in
Jackie H
This place was really neat! We stopped by at night, so very few of the shops were open, but it was still cool to wander around. It looks like there is still a lot of space that can be rented, but the spaces are so small that I'm not sure what could really go in there. Either way, I really hope it succeeds. The playground was awesome, and it's a great idea.
Mike Gallacher
This is the least sketchy area of downtown. There's a cool playground inside which makes me scratch my head because you have to be 21+ to go inside the container park even if you just want a taco from Pinches.
Justin Linville
The Container park seems like an oasis of Millenial chic within the very eclectic Downtown Las Vegas. Not a bad thing, just a world within a world. Very attractive building design and layout. The whole area is a nice place to be and has a multitude of great food and beverage options. I would give it 5 stars if there were easier bathroom options, as well as a beverage cart option.
Doug Cisler
A very unique Park built out of railroad car containers. Lots of fun little shops and tons of little places to eat. I highly recommend JoJo's jerky and the coffee place that's right at the entrance. They also have a great chocolate place. They also have a big stage where bands play too. Out front they have a huge metal sculpture of a praying mantis that shoots Flames at night. A few blocks down Fremont from the main touristy area. I highly recommend this place.
Ken and Alicia Lund
A great new addition to downtown Las Vegas. The signing, flame emitting mantis greets visitors. A number of great eats and small artisan shops inside. Fun place to visit.
Melaina Caudle
There is a bunch to do and see. Some great little stores with everything from spice rubs tonhard to find board games. There is live music and a crazy fire breathing robot.
Patil Roupelian
Nice area for a quick walk right across from Fremont st. I would suggest going here in the afternoon if you have small kids. Nice area with security to have lunch and have the kids run around at the play ground.
Nicole Williams
This place is super cool. Great "adult tree house". We had lots of fun checking it the shops and watching the praying mantis throw fire balls in the air. Lots of bins to check out for shopping, eating, drinking, and even a cigar bar. There's also a nice stage and lawn area to just chill and enjoy the show. You can even get tatted in one of the containers. Only a couple of blocks off of Fremont so if you are in the area, definitely check it out.
Zach Marker
This place is really cool. Lots of restaurants and little fun shops to go to. We went to a restaurant that I forget the name of for mimosas and they were yum.
Donevon Martinez
Container Park is always a great time. Very kid friendly and even havms an after hours for adults. One big thing is missing though more shops the place needs better shopping and more variety. The food here is great and it has some fun shops as well. The have entertainment every weekend and even on weekdays. Definitely worth a visit for the food try the ribs and other restaurants. Joe's jerky as great as well, also the bars are nice. If they had more shops it would definitely be 5 star
Yafit Gal Levi
Great place, love the idea and the story behind. Great to go with kids as there are a lot of games spread around next to the stage. The stores are not as unique as you would imagine.
Ay Jay
This is really a cool concept using re-purposed shipping containers to build a small park like area with retail shops and restaurants. They designed it with a large stage for entertainment and the large courtyard also host family movie nights. I enjoyed vegan lasagna at Simply Pure a plant based restaurant and fresh juice bar. The children's play area is really cool because they used a vertical container as a tower for the slide. The designated smoking area is upstairs with a cool balcony overlooking the plaza. This park is convienently located 2 blocks away from the infamous Fremont street and there is street parking available as well as a few parking garages.
Doctor Webinstein
Amazing spot to spend the day with some family. Cozy little indie shops and even alcohol ! There is a huge play area for kids in the center and even a fire breathing mantis.
Plant Based Betty
Clean place with lots to do for the whole family. Kid friendly. Lots of sugar shops. There are also security guards so it is safe
Paul Dexter
Great place to grab a bite while meeting up with family. From chocolate to tacos, a nice selection of eats.
Courtney Blackston
Absolutely a must visit, especially if you have kids in Vegas. Even my 13 daughter loved it! We went in February and it was beautiful, but has covered areas for even the hotter months.
Perry Smith
Fun place with a clever design. Seeing the praying mantis shoot fire is a must. Good restaurants, only a little pricey. Also shopping & a tattoo parlor. Definitely recommended.
J Pokakaa
This is a great night out for the whole family before 9. After 9 is adults only. On the top of the hour the praying mantis blows fire. There are bars, food places, and a playground. The dome is cool.
Heather
Our Vegas wedding reception after the ceremony at the Golden Nugget consisted of wandering and exploring downtown Vegas with friends and family. The Container Park was part of that exploration. Alot was closed already , or closing at 9 pm . We had a few drinks , watched the fire show which was really neat , wandered a bit , sat and talked with family in a place that was quieter than Fremont Street, but other than that I found it to be just meh. It's a neat concept concept and if I was looking for some place to go with kids this would be great .. but I was looking for a fun adult kid free Vegas and this wasn't it.
Danielle Duffy-McMurray
Such a cool place constructed of repurposed containers from ships, trains, etc. They have very cool events on a regular basis. Now offering free balloon items.
Kevin Stanley
Super cool spot, worth seeking out. Great brunch spot towards back. A lot of fun and atmosphere. Will be back. Cool feat of engineering.
William Nelson
Was in Vegas for the weekend with my father and 2 grown sons we were heading to the mommy's gym but wanted to grab a bite to eat 1st there was a pizza place that had 4 and a 1/2 star rating so we stopped by there called mob pie I would give it a strong 4 stars it could have cooked a pizza a little bit longer to make it a little bit crispier but good flavor good taste nice afternoon lunch
Jason Smith
One of the most fun things to do on Freemont especially with children. Little boutique shops and cafes. Nighttime offers a flaming praying mantis, very cool!
Keith Wallace
Really neat marketplace. There are a couple places for drinks and food. Other spots are novelty shops. The entire place is constructed with ship containers in a very creative way. In for of the park is a huge sculture that at night shoots fire to the beat of music. There is no warning of the show and startled me as I was reading the sign in front of it.
Deutsch Puu
A gem of a find! Great place to bring your family to hang out enjoy music, shopping and a playground smack dab in the middle!
LA Cilia
Loved that all the business were in containers.. stopped at oak and ivy for a crafted cocktail that was amazing..
Chris Grant
Quiet when we visited and I think this place can be much more. Nice beer to be had at one particular place with a deck.
Jeff Douglas
Be sure to check it out! Great place during the day for shopping, family, drinks and at night cool to watch the mantis do it’s thang!
Monica Crain
I loved everywhere I went in. I was a tourist and between paychecks but I wish I could have stayed another week to have more money to spend here. so good
Wesley Littke
We caught word to check out Container Park late in the day. We got there as many places were closing but it's an awesome place built out of shipping containers. You're greeted by a fire shooting singing mantis and you're ID to get in as there's several restaurants and bars inside. Also a playground that had many adults in it going on the slide. Very cool place to visit when you're down by Fremont.
jkitchens71
Container park is a fun family chill spot. Food goes from vegan to bbq. You have live music or movies on the big screen depending on the night. Always with checking to see what's on tap at Container park.
John Wyss
Really creative collection of small businesses. There's a great whiskey bar, the chocolate shop, sandwiches and much more. Occasional free live music to enjoy and lots of structures for kids to play on.
Jamie R Robinson
Such a cool park. We had a great time taking the kids through and exploring!
Lindsay Gorman
Great place for families or a first date. Good variety of shops and restaurants, several different events throughout the year, and an artsy, eclectic atmosphere. A bit pricey, but totally worth it.
H.N. Williams
Cool place to stroll by and check out things.
Mira C
This place doesn't have so much thing to discover around. Many shops are closed down (Rental spots available). The children playground is quite small, but at least you finally can find some activities in downtown Vegas for the kids. You can find cheaper eats and drinks nearby. It is good to spend 1 hour to take a rest though.
Nora Sotelo
There are cool/trendy outdoor areas with lights on the trees and that are kid friendly with a playground. Fun place to do so many things at once, eat and be entertained with the many shops and restaurants. We join the live music and the light show at the dome is really good to relax and enjoy some music and lights. Good family fun.
Miss Mia Martinez
This is a very cool place. Lots of places of eat and shop. There's a playground in the middle for kids that looks like a giant tree house.
Synchronizing Universe
I absolutely loved this little place. The fresh lemonade that’s made there is a MUST! The quietness while getting sprayed with the mist was refreshing.
Mike SAINOS
Just blocks away from Fremont street. Live music. Small shopping mall. Grab drink. Hang out watch praymantis do fire show
Charles Boltas
This is a cool spot to hang out with friends and grab a drink. I like all of the street art and grafitti. When it is hot outside, they have plenty of shade.
Our service was also good here, and it wasn't too packed.
Dennisse Anaya
Visit Eastside Fremont The Container Park where you can go down an adult 3 story slide, catch some live acts and grab a vegetarian wrap. Check out the praying mantis at night. It shoots out fire out of it’s antenas to the beat of the music. Surrounding the container park you will find about two dozen different unique boutiques and specialty eateries built within shipping containers, stacked two-story high. During the day is a perfect place to bring the family, once the sun goes down it’s 21 and up.

My favorite hidden gem! We stumbled upon the Container Park while exploring the area and absolutely loved it!
Joshua Macias
Awesome place! Happened to stumble upon it by accident at night and had so much fun. The park in the middle was a great time and looking around at the containers made into shops was great to see. Also the giant flame throwing praying mantis out front is incredible! Definitely a must see place!
Sean Ehart
What a cool place! Lots of interesting local artist with showcases available along with food and drink galore. Be sure to check this place out if you're in the area!
Jessica Pellegrini
We love coming here to let the kids run around. It's got a really cool playground in the center of everything, it's gated in too which is nice for littles. My kids love playing with the oversized Lego. We've never spent too much time shopping around here but the shops I have been in were cute and we really enjoyed the chocolate shop on the second floor.
HERM PAZ
Supercool place, I wish there were one like this everywhere.
Anastasia M
The Container Park and Downtown Las Vegas was an amazing experience. It was a nice break away from the crowded streets of Las Vegas. It has a lot to offer food wise for vegans, meat eaters and shoppers. It was a different concept to see an entire shopping area made of solely shipping container. It is a stop you should surely make if you need a break from an over packed streets of Las Vegas and enjoy seeing lovely street art.
T G
Really cool. Was very clean. Laid back atmosphere.
Dalila Montes
Always so much fun. Great area for children compared to Freemont Street.
Lauren P
It's fun, clean, family friendly during the day. There was people monitoring the park during the day, and it's also gated. There's some fun giant building blocks and a few hangout areas. At night time it's for adults only so if you're looking for a kid free time, go at night. The parking across the street was cheap and easy to do.
Maximiliano Lopez
I came to the Container Park with my Nephew and Son as I wanted a clean Park to Play in this Attendee Chris made the experience beyond anything I could imagine.
Chris is the next Blippy, he has an energy and excitement about him that you can not manufacture. As soon as a the kids came in he said spin the dial on the yellow container and you will win a prize.
Kids ran for an hour and every time they found a logo example shield 🛡 he would give them a Pokémon Card. Made my day as he made the kids day.
If I had anything to do with kids I would hire this person.
Chris Thank you 🙏 for making a normal day amazing.
Local Las Vegas Parent.
Container Park Park is Great anyway with Chris Excellent.
Dennis Rowland
Family friendly environment. Great unique shops with little trinkets to buy. Amazing food as well.
Anne Walsh
Great little place. The preying mantis of course is always a sight to behold, plus inside it has a gated playground and a music stage and lawn seating in the back. If you want the full experience have a big pocket of available money for the shops and restaurants. Free to enter though so if cash is tight it's still available to enjoy.
Matthew Ballantyne
What a great way to re-use open space, and re-use materials!
Container Park offers outdoor shows, restaurants, tattoos, gift shops, and one the best jerky and hot sauce stores in the entire American West.
It's a completely different experience and pace from traditional Las Vegas sights, do yourself a favor and chill out for part of your travels here.
April Sago (April LasVegas)
I love downtown container park! Such a significant area for our town! Lot’s to do, plenty of shops and food, play area for children. Cozy grassy outdoor stage area for live music and events. Very artistic feel inside I have friends that work inside one of the restaurants that overlook the entire courtyard it’s a very mello chill vibe a must see for your trip to Vegas it is located near Freemont Street away from the strip. I have ate at the BBQ Restaurant, shopped at the beef jerky store, ate at the Perch, browsed the shops lot’s to see. Have fun and safe travels
Sean Rossman
Neat area. They have a working Zoltar machine like the movie "Big!"
Puma Freak
Really neat park for kids and adults! Large playground for children many shops/cafes and art !
Julie Kasperson
Funky local gathering place created out of shipping containers. Some good eats and drinks. Really cool local merchant selling decorative stuff for the home; another had handmade soaps, candles and bath salts.
I had some good tacos and a blood orange margarita from Pinches Tacos. Play areas for kids during the day; at night you must be 21+ to hang out.
Destini “Gemini” Lewis
My time spent here was well-lived. Before you enter, a security guard should inform you that no outside food or drinks are allowed inside. That is when you will see one the first things that catches your attention which is the oversized gated playground that lies in the center of the park. Not in the mood for monkeying around? Not a problem. You have a multitude of stores varying from restaurants to souvenirs explore that are surrounding the playground.
Earl Ditz
Very cool place to hang out, grab a bite to eat or a drink and to chill.
Jose Vazquez
Awsome totaly forgot to take more pics

We weren't sure what it was. Glad we went! It was something the kids could enjoy which didn't include inhaling 2nd hand smoke!
Làs Vegas
Great 👍😊 place to visit, low 🔅🔅 🗝️🔐 key. …
Jonathan Kehring
Been to Vegas a few times and never went into Container Park, but always walked past it. This time I decided to walk in and glad I did. It is definitely a nice but different atmosphere here. They had a big playground for the kids and have live music playing. This mini park has tons of shops and eateries.
Andre
Nice place to be in Vegas!!
David Nguyen (iamdavid.co)
The downtown container was absolutely brilliant. Cute little area for food and shops. It has a area for kids. Playgrounds in front of the stage where they can create things with foam blocks. Great entertainment with art sculptures and music. Fabulous Las Vegas.
Ana Woo
Very cool and interesting shopping area. BRING YOUR KIDS! The playpark is absolutely amazing! Please note that no kids are allowed after 9pm
Josh Gerst
This place is awesome!! Food, drinks, shops and play!
Tonya Hunter
Always have a fantastic time down here and there is never a shortage of great food, good drinks and all kinds of characters! The bug is a must see in person.
Katie Mitchell
Not a whole lot here. Very clean. Kids had fun building things with the blocks. I thought there would be more shops.
Michael Hanson
Unique shops and eateries. Recommend stopping by and taking a look. Great people, great personalities all working for a cause. Nice change of pace a little ways down from Fremont Street.
Edward Cotton
Safe and secure outing for the family. The kids will love the play ground and the 3 story tree house. Bring ur id.
Donny Nuckles
Great idea for shops. Saw this on TV and had to check it out. The heat that is generated from the pray mantis is ridiculous! I recommend checking this place out. Its just a few blocks from the Fremont Street Experience and worth the walk.
Tyrone Moore
We were walking the strip and walked a bit further and come.across this spit.We thought it was super cool
Marlo Anderson
This is always a great place to walk through. Nice shops with a variety of goods plus some great eateries. If you are in downtown Las Vegas visiting the Freemont Street Experience, just wander a few blocks east to find Container Park. Be on the lookout for a large, fire breathing Preying Mantis. Kid friendly until 8pm with a great playground..
Jakub Jakubec
It's a very good park for adults. We could play games, go on slides as we did in childhood. We had a very good time here.
Chad Hornbuckle
Great play area for the kids. Must see tourist area. Great food and drink options inside as well
David Sandberg
Always a phenomenally unusual, liberatingly unconventional experience. Widely varied shops, in a strange atmosphere slid into the downtown of Fremont, now with community events like "silent DJ" headphones available to rent. Movies on occasion in the green. And later at night, THEY KICK OUT ALL THE KIDS!
I will absolutely never fail to bring someone here as part of their Vegas visit.
Callie Stroby
It's the cleanest place I've seen yet in Las Vegas. It has great little stores and the owners and employees were 99 per cent SUPER COOL. Very kid friendly
Deborah Livingston
A great place to spend a leisurely afternoon of shopping, snacking and letting the kids do their thing!
Curtis Colaw
This is a great local downtown place to hang out. The shopping is good, there are multiple small shops and places to eat and the vibe is very cool. Well worth going to.
Deborah Farinaro
A must see when visiting downtown.
Marek Schmidt
Cool what they have come to building entire city block/square using leftovers.
Marketing creative ideas and helping young entrepreneurs setting up their businesses.
Jillian Nates
Must See !!! Super Fun!!! Love the shops. Theres a HUGE playground for kids. The Pizza wasn't that great. But I would Highly recommend the Mezcal Drink at Oak&Ivy!!!
Nicholas Wilson
Interesting, unique park built out of containers. Love the idea of recycling and it has a unique vibe and feel. Small shops, mini rests, quick-service food, stuff for kids. Menh. If you're not a family, and perhaps bar-hopping like we were, skip it. Have kids, give 'er.
Justin Newell
Super cool little gem..
Good selection of shops, food, drinks, and entertainment.
Shellee Renee
Start the day with coffee & breakfast at PublicUs and walk up East Fremont. The vintage hotel signs and art murals make for a great photo safari! End up at Container Park by 5 pm to see the Praying Mantis spit fire amid public drumming! Great food and drinks - visit Bin 702!
Julia Near and Far
Downtown Container Park is in my favorite neighborhood in Las Vegas. It's a really cool place to shop, eat, grab a drink and listen to live music on the stage. A playground in the center of the park helps kids burn off energy.
KAREN CHANCE
Beautiful area, creative container stores. great playground area, and nice stage area with lots of open spaces to sit.
H D.
Container Park has a little something for everyone. Love the concept, recycled storage containers as building blocks! It's one of the few places where kids and adults alike can be entertained downtown.
Frank Canez
First time here. Found shops to be quant and easy to get to . Variety of food and shops is good. Lots to see and we had a good time people watching. Giant praying mantis was cool. Good to see at night
Willie Royal
Downtown Container Park is the ideal place to socialize and have a few drinks and a bite to eat. Very peaceful ambiance and lighting throughout. For my next social meeting we'll be meeting here again.
Eric
Wow, stumbled upon this place when exploring beyond the freemont street experience. Was blown away by the HUGE flame-spitting preying mantis. This place is so chic and cool! With lots of little shops, a stage and several playgrounds there's no doubt you'll want to meet here to hang out all the time. And even better, we were able to catch some fireworks shooting from the strip when atop the playground - great end to a great night!
Melanie Jennings
Great place to support local businesses. I will definitely go through there again on my next visit.
Clayton Graham
Love this place, we go each time we are in Vegas. Great for down time with kids.
Draper
Funky little park/open air mall constructed from shipping containers. If you're downtown at sunset, it's worth heading over to see the giant mantis come to life and shoot fire from its antennae.
Nanette Solorzano
Cool place to take the kids. Plenty of play areas for them to run around in, especially the tree house. Eclectic and artsy craft shops to visit. A variety of craft foods and beverages to enjoy. Magical looking at night with all the lights on. The praying mantis that welcomes you at the entrance can be startling. In the evening it comes alive.
A W
This was a nice place to experience the old local Las Vegas area. Plenty of live concerts and shows in this area at no cost. Free side street parking after 10 pm. Definitely a good place to visit when you are in town.
Chris Smith
Very cool place. You can't exactly do your back to school shopping but it's a fun place to hang out, people watch and have an experience. The world needs more places like this!
Kent Mann
The container park is a great place for families, dates or just to get away from hustle and bustle of Freemont street. A little hot during the summer, don't let that stop you from stopping in at any number of small shops or restaurants. Let your kids play on the playground, lounge with your significant other on the patio chairs or grab a quick bite and any of the awesome places to eat. Just look for the giant metal praying mantis!
Michele Geronimo
Great concept that is part of the changing face of downtown area. Love the use of the shipping containers and unique shops and restaurants. But my favorite is the sense of community that this place inspires. There is a nice play area where families come and enjoy the day as well as a stage for shows and movies. I'm signed up for the newsletter and there are often events that are posted too!

As a Vegas local, I've visited the Downtown Container park many times. There is always something new to discover. Whether it is a new shop, restaurant or special event. You already know I love to take photos and eat, but I also love meeting new people just as much as I love people watching. This place is great for both. I've found that tourists come in waves to explore this area of Fremont East. There is never a shortage of funny reactions as people see the Preying Mantis at the entrance of Downtown Container Park for the first time. Some don't know that it also loudly spews fire at certain times. Seeing people jump back never gets old. People love it! Then you have the adult playground in the center of the park. As your eyes adjust, you realize that all ages and entire families are climbing, swinging, building and sliding in the playground. It's huge! It's open late so I recommend grabbing a bite to eat first. There is BBQ, Pizza, Hot Dogs, Healthy Eats, Dessert and even Jerky of all kinds - including Vegan. Ask which ones before tasting the samples. They are really good! After eating, you have bars and lounges all around to sit and relax to enjoy the beautiful park scenery. There are 3 floors of shops and seating all over the place. If you like music and dancing be sure to check the Downtown Container Park event calendar. I've seen some great performances on the large stage at the rear of the park. The shopping and art events on the lawn are always fun too. If you eat at Downtown Terrace you can have dinner and a show from that vantage point. If you want to venture out of the park there are bike or scooter rental options where you can book a guided tour around Downtown and get your exercise in too! Try it all and come back soon! I know I will!

Weekends have some entertainment, fun shops, local artists, nice little bar, great playground for kids.

A really cool concept, and great selection of little shopettes. My wife gets her nails done in one, even though we live across town.

Hannah Floto
It's actually super fun! I was a little nervous to visit here at first since the area is not always my favorite, but inside is definitely a place I would go to more often if I lived closer! There's a lot of shops, a bar, a cool playground even the grownups could enjoy. Overall it's a very nice place and recommended visiting even if it's not for the mantis blowing out fire
Jay Lee
Fun entertainment. Great music and great experience.
Richie C.
Bring the family here !!! The energy level in this place is sooo mellow, calm, peaceful, caring. All the staff were welcoming and protective towards kids from the get go. Loved this place so much we went twice before leaving home. I even got a tattoo at the tattoo shop. My son loved the environment, we ended the night to live music FREE.

Great place with more of a family vibe. Fun sculpture out front that plays songs and shoots fire. Inside is more of an outdoor mall with a central seating area with a stage for live events.
Jennifer Berryhill
We went somewhat late, but it was really neat. There's was a park inside and no smoking on the ground level makes it more family friendly.
Debbie Mann
Great place. Neat idea using the shipping containers. Has more shade than it used to. Parking is a challenge however.
Jordan

Carol Nicolaisen
This is a really cute idea for a little Park. Artwork was fun, and the adult size playground inside the park was really cute as well. I stopped at a couple different shops along the way. Definitely a nice place to hang out for an evening.
Spiritual Goddess
One of my favorite areas in Vegas. Zero gaming, outdoor seating, shops, food & drink, play area for the kids and live music & activities. The vibe is happiness and very chill. There is a sunset drum circle and a magnificent praying mantis that shoots fire from its antennas dusk to dark. So fun and great for the whole family!
Lori Ann Andress
This is a place you don't want to miss .. it is amazing place to visit and shop
. Place for the children to play
phillip richmond
Nice little change of pace with nice shops and a relaxed vibe. Got some great Boba tea
Mike Makes
Pretty awesome place just a bit past all of the main attractions on Fremont street. The park is one of a kind with plenty of shops, food, drinks, and children activities.
Sherri Newman
I wish we would have gone a little earlier in the day so we could have enjoyed all the things it has to offer, but it was still cool. It's a shopping mall, playground, restaurant, bar, and free concert venue all wrapped into one. Plus they have an awesome preying mantis in front.
TracyJolene
Had a great time. Was disappointed the Dome was down for maintenance after we had already bought tickets but the food was great and the shops are pretty cool.
Laady Kharizma (Laadykharizma)
Such a cool place to hang out in vegas😉the reason why I chose this particular pic is to let all you no that parking is free on the weekends out here if you are so lucky to find it.. well that's a different story. The parking begins to get pretty congested around 4..5pm on most nights. And good luck if there's a major event in town that weekend.. either way the location it's self is a land mark and a awesome vegas experience😏
emily rosshirt
Many shops and places to check out. Good for date night, out with friends or a solo stroll.
Lisa Ross
Awesome place with several stores including food establishments.
Manu Zein
This place is the reason I keep coming to Vegas. The ambiance is amazing, the shops are great, and the kids' park is my son's favorite. I noticed that every year we come, the place looks even better. That's the way to run a business!
Ivan Josiah Lapis
This place is gorgeous! Bring all your friends and family over! Not much in terms of land space, but there's a good variety of stuff here and simply just sitting around is very relaxing. Watch out of the fire breathing mantis!
Levi Morgan
Food, shops, music. All ages untill 10pm. 2 smoking sections upstairs.
John Junior
Great place to chill with drinks while the kids play. There's also a few places to grab food and enjoy outside dining.
Rose Corral
Came here with my kids and their friend, it was cool we just wish the top slide was open for the kids at least the older ones. It was a bummer for them to not be able to go on it.
Tamer Abubakr

Norma Bell
Best free show at dusk with the firey Mantis! Too much fun

Very cool little shops sprinkled throughout. Had music playing and an area for kids to play. Got some awesome jerky that was hot enough to make my husband's eyes water and he barely has a reaction to ghost peppers.
Shabby Rose Creations by Kem
Great place to visit, there's plenty of shops to brows. There's bars, a few places to eat. It's all outside. It's not to big at all.

* CHECK MY TIP AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST: The Container park is a great place for the kids and adults alike. There is a fantastic kids tree house that is huge in the center of the park. Also a great play area with oversized blocks for kids to build and create anything their imagination can dream. Adults can go to Ziggy's art studio for beautiful guitar theme, whale theme and Hollywood favorites., Coffee shops, alcohol available, food and outdoor dining, everything from sunglasses to gift shops and many great surprises throughout the park.
Parking is easy across the street and the city parking spots you go online and pay for an hour at a time * pro tip ; pay for one hour SET A TIMER and you get a text link to extend your spot an hour at a time as needed. FYI downtown Fremont experience is 2 blocks away. After dark show, zipline and entertainment.
Expect all that goes with being out in public.
Claire Hoover

Keith Nelson
Very cool place. Really enjoyed spending time here having drinks with friends.

I like this area of Vegas (art district and Tacoterrian nearbye) Some of the free outdoor events were broke and the crystal shop I loved isn't there anymore. Still have to say, I had a good time. The Lego park was entertaining for my 9 year old.

S Bryson-Karr
A fun family area with several different areas for the kids (of all ages!) to run around and play. The shops tend to be a little pricey but too bad. The rapid turnover of shops is disappointing but if you see and you want it...you should buy it!

An excellent playground for kids with shopping, and food.
Kim Thomas
Somewhat off the beaten track, and one of the cutest little places to stop for a drink and a meal while in Las Vegas. Who knew old shipping containers could be recycled so well? Great place to take a break if visiting the Fremont St area.
Michele Schmidt
This was an intrusive sting place just right down the street from Fremont our Uber driver dropped us off there because downtown can be a bit crazy so we walked around for a little bit it was sad to see that most of the places were still closed but the artwork was beautiful and it made for a great walk

This place was an unexpected gem. I was pleasantly surprised by the interactive drum circle and fire shooting praying mantis, the layout with a melting pot of experiences to be had, and the overall vibe. Not 'typical' Vegas and I mean that in all the best ways.
Shirley
Took my niece and nephew there the other night, wasn't aware that the park isn't open to kids after 9 lol. We just sat and watched the "fire and music show" at the entrance (I'm not sure what it's called). My nephew loved it, my niece was a little scared.

This is a great place to take the family during the day and a place for you to adult at night. Shopping and drinks with a little live music is a great combination. The food is also amazing. If you are looking for a nice local place to visit, this should be at the top of your list.

Praying mantis sang happy birthday for my grandmas 92nd birthday!!!
Sandi Randolph
At the time we were there not much was going on but it is always fun to be there.
darlene corbin
FOR THE PARK/TREE HOUSE SPECIFICALLY.
This is a great place to take the kids. I am all about low cost/free things to do and this, despite being in a mall, is completely free. The multi level tree house kept the kids entertained for hours. The giant sized legos had them building forts and playing with other kids to make life size creations.
The play area is gated so kids can't run out and the entrance/exit is supervised. There are multiple areas of interest within the play area but don't forget to check out the very front area of the mall where there is another play area with more legos.
The fire breathing mantis was really cool for the kiddos too. Almost all stores were closed when we visited but definitely worth a visit.
Julie DeHart
I love this place. Especially Pinchi's Mexican food
Lawrence Talahongva
Cool looking shops, 3 levels high with stairs or an elevator. A couple shops that cater to those with the sweet tooth. A Mexican restaurant that's awesome, small restaurant but big flavor! Various meats to choose from for tacos or burritos. They have an area for bands it looks like. Another bar/restaurant with more drink varieties. Clothes shops and some kind of eye glass shop maybe just shades and of course a gift shop.
T
A lot smaller than expected. Maybe 4-5 real places to eat. The rest are for quick bites. Lots of empty containers. Playground for kids is very nice. And they have a security guard at the entrance to ensure no kids leave without parents. Live music was really good and fun.
Carlos Hauenstein
This place is so cool. Just a short walk from Freemont street. This was such a cool find. Really neat shops, great restaurants. A must do is the love lock sculpture. The have a play area for kids. It also looks like they have live bands because there is a stage there also.
Melissa
Absolute must see when you're in Las Vegas. Preying Mantis at night is a sight to see. Enjoyed some Presentation Pendleton spiced cider at one of the bars. Delicious on a cool vegas night
Eye_Dee Moore
Most of the shops had not open at noon. The best time to come would be late afternoon or evening.

Sarah Urban
This is a fun place to visit, with a very laid back and welcoming feel. The were several empty stores, which was disappointing, but still worth a visit.
Misty Maldonado
I totally thought they would have better shops and it would be bigger, they need at add more tourist souvenier shops and better restaurants
Jacquelyn Ambrose
Cool Grasshopper thing out front but you can't take your drinks inside so I don't actually know what's in there. I just think the grasshopper thing is cool.
Natasha Souza

This little area was pretty cool. Fun art, food, live music and a tree fort play area for the kiddo's. There was security which made you feel safe.
kate smith
A very cool idea, much smaller than I expected. Very large play area for kids in the center. Lots of shop, most were closed when I was there. I gave 3 stars because there wasn't much going on. Be sure to check out the giant preying mantis creation at the entrance. Also, if you can get there on foot, there's a lot of really great graffitti/mural art all along Fremont St.
Gilbert Florence
Really cool place! The praying mantis was off the book. Good music too.
Kari Taylor
Best place to blow off some steam after a long day of Vegas with kids!
Darlene Bunting
It was an interesting place. Very family oriented especially in that area.
Taryn Toolson Lewis
I love this park and make a point to visit it every time I’m in Vegas! My kids love the playground and I love that I can eat in peace on the surrounding tables while they play. I also like the added security they have with the fence around the playground and employees helping to keep kids safe while playing. The restaurants around are great- our favorite is pinches tacos. The mantis drum ceremony is cute for little ones to participate in as well.
