I basically grew up at this shopping center as a kid for over 50 years. This shopping center is way more cleaner and well taken care of. When they did rebuilt it though, they left out a great bakery (used to have Jesse's Bakery) or they should have added a Sushi place. All in all though, nice place.

Moanalua Shopping Center is strategically located in Pearl Harbor off the military installation with several important military offices such as the Pass and ID office. A blend of eating places opens up a chance for Chinese, Japanese and American food. If fast food is desired Taco Bell and McDonalds are available. Navy garden shop is on the ocean side of the road. This shopping center opens up many options not available at the Navy exchange complex.

I come here if I'm coming from the commissary to get some fast food. Jack in the Box has no drive thru right now. Was over there earlier the week. They were working on the outside of the drive thru wall side oof the building. Panda Express is good. Loco moco fast food is good. You got to get some orange dream at Jamba.

A very hard place to find a parking spaces and there are also a lot of businesses in one locations. They needs to build a parking garage or find ways accommodations the working people. A lot of the people only have an hour for their break. Almost every businesses have a drive through also and people would that instead of sitting down and enjoy their lunchtime. To us the biggest problem is the parking.

Great selections at this center. The only problem, which. Guess is a big problem is the parking during the day. The center decided to build more buildings and take away more parking a few years ago. Other than that, there’s a Ruby Tuesday’s for dine in and several fast food joints to pick from.

Good place for a bite to eat or basic necessities. Local fast food restaurants serving any where from a burger and fries, to a baked potato and steak plate. Don't like neither? There's ramen and and curry options available there too. By way of basic necessities, available options would be barber shop, gas station, cellphone store, and electronics. The down side of this place though would be parking. Parking galore at night, but day time packed fast!

Love the variety of places to dine here. Some days I want something quick, and there is the Fast Food places.like Jack In The Box, McDonald's, and Taco Bell. Or I may want to sit and dine at one of the smaller shops. Or even get a haircut at one of the barber shops, and then sit and dine at one of the other places there, like Ruby Tuesday, or Panda Express or any of the other eateries.

Many different fast food restaurants here. Good selection, everyone should be able to find something here. Parking is tight. Lots of military, airport workers, and others come here for lunch so parking during prime lunch hours can be tough.

A very large free parking lot makes visiting the dentist, cell phone stores, local & national restaurant like Ruby Tuesdays, game stop, & even fast food restaurants like McDonalds, Panda Express etc...

This little strip mall is right outside the airport, and many people go to it right out of two coming to the island. probably the best thing to eat there is the L&L barbecue, and it's just as all the rest of them is good. just make sure that when you go in you get your ticket validated so that you have no charge for parking there. Recommended.

Decent stores decent food, terrible parking and overrun by 'street racers' on certain days to show off their cars. If you want fast food and the drive thru is full do yourself a favor if you can and go inside, you'll be in and out much faster. The enterences by panda and McDonald's get BACKED UP at dinner because of drive thru, so try coming in at the far entrences closer to the school.

Great eating places with lots of parking. There's even a self power washing place for your car. The mall is basically on military property. It's usually crowded here since there aren't any good places to eat nearby. This is it. It's across the military gold course.

Horrendous parking problems here especially during lunch and dinner. If you want to visit the shops, make sure to avoid these times. Other than that, its a quite nice strip mall. Well maintained, and lots of places to eat. But for shopping, not much here.

Best place to go is the NEX in this shopping center for the best souvenirs to bring home from Hawaii at a fair price. The local vendors are amazing and the food is simply delish! Highly recommend Ramen Ya after shopping here! The Mochico chicken and Gyoza Ramen are oh so YUMMY and definitely hit the spot after a long day of shopping!!!

I frequent the shopping center a few times a week. There's a variety of stores and food joints located here, as well as a dental and orthodontic place (I believe). Starbucks, Koa, Panda Express, McDonald's are just some othe businesses located here. Parking is rough, depending on what time of day it is. If it's around lunch time you may want to try another location.

Really like this small shopping center. Many food places to choose from including taco del Mar, ruby Tuesdays, panda express, Jack in the box, taco bell, pearls, and more. Some small stores like jeans warehouse and gamestop. There is also a Starbucks and jamba. Plenty of parking but can get very busy.

There are plenty of places to stop and get a quick bite. You can go to Ruby Tuesdays and have a drink if you feel like waiting for an hour. The aura is peaceful and you don't have to worry too much about your car getting broken into. It doesn't smell any worse than other places around the island, and parking is what it is on Hawaii. Good place for people planning to shop at the NEX.

For a smaller shopping area mainly consisting of eateries and mobile carrier storefronts, its calm, populated mainly by our military patrons due to its proximity to the housing and the Navy Exchange but open to public. I enjoy the clean, minimal scene, no fancy architecture or anything blinged out, but you can find most of Hawaiis biggest food chains there, Pandas, Jack in the Box, McDonalds, etc.

Has pretty much all the essential fast places you want, if not the big NEX is next door, has an AT&T store, Verizon Store and Gamestop. Right outside of base "walking distance". Gets very busy during lunch and dinner. Electric car parking, but it cost money to charge.

Close to the Navy Exchange for military (military ID required) but there are some shops set outside of the NEx that civilians (with no military ID) can access. Great place to shop and eat at too. Parking is available although it can be super packed. Panda, Taco Bell, McDonald, Jack in the Box have drive through service.

Some great stores in here--the usual Starbucks, Jamba Juice, McDonald's, and Koa are here, but there are hidden treasures inside. The best example is the sushi place. It's on the second level, inside the garage. Looks sketchy, yeah, but go for it. HUGE rolls. You'll need only one (says the woman who can eat her weight in sushi), but you'll want a half-dozen.

This shopping area is near the Navy Exchange (NEX) and military housing/military golf course. It has numerous big box eateries like Basking Robbins, McDonalds, Ruby Tuesdays, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, Jamba Juice, Panda Express, Starbucks. There are also local food places like Koa Pancake House and Loco Moco Drive In. Pigtails and Crewcuts are great for kids hair cuts and small birthday parties. We like going here since we have all our potential food options covered in one area. Traffic is relatively light since you have to go through military housing on one side and the main road is relatively large. Busiest times are lunch during the weekday.

I had to look at the picture. Could have sworn this place was called the Ala Moana Mall. It's a great mall that perfectly represents Hawaii. The outdoor upper floors ate only possible in a location like this. It's truly a beautiful mall. The Koi streams are a nice touch as well.

Just as the Islands represent the meeting of the Eastern, awestern and Oceanic spherea of influence, rhe Moanalua shopping center represents the confluence of the military, civilian mainland and civilian local populations.
