Reviews of International Market Place
Jonathan Lau
There are some decent stores here. At least to browse and window shop. We bought some things, but mainly from the ABC Store (how can you not? They are everywhere.) and a bubble tea place.
What made us come back here many times while in Waikiki was the gathering place with the "mushroom" rocks. That's what my daughter called it. She loved playing here. There were usually other kids here so it was always some impromptu gathering/play area. Security doesn't like it if you climb the statues and I don't blame them.
We came here one evening and there was some marketplace going on. They also set up a luau in the "mushroom" rock area so my daughter was disappointed she couldn't play there.
Meltdown By Kyle
This has come along way since it was actual markets, which were awesome. But the Market Place is a really lovely spot to shop, a mainly outdoor mall with a good mix of high end and all around stores to shop. An awesome food court with a great vibe and plenty of options to chose from. A good spot in the middle of Waikiki.
Bill
Way back in the dark ages this used to be a actual market place now it's just a fancy looking mall. Nothing wrong with being a mall but it's lost the old charm. It's got so many good stores in it though. The food takes the cake though. So many tasty places to eat.
J W
This is a small semi-open market place with a large mix of stores and food outlets.
I was struggling to find the store that I needed in a rush and wished there were more maps around.
It’s lovely and fresh inside with lots of trees and water features. It’s generally very clean and there are so many different shops.
Nicki H.
This is an attractive area to kill some time. Tons of shops and some attractive foliage and rest areas. Parking in the area is kinda high, so make a day of it and plan multiple stops so you'll only have to park and pay once.
RCS S
The place is well decorated & maintained during our holiday visit. The place is huge and there’s a lot of luxury signature store around the area. But some local are saying that there’s a part of the area that isn’t safe to walk around.
Nick Kalfopoulos (The Military Traveler)
When I entered the mall, I didn't even kno where to start. There were so many stores to choose from and it was amazing because there were so many options for souvenirs and other items too.
Definitely a spot to stop at if you are visiting Waikiki.
Nicholas Pun
Lots of high end shops and great food court. The surrounding area is also great to walk around! Would definitely recommend also going to Duke's Alley.
Lancine Keita
This mall is soo huge its hard not to linger here for like 5 extra minutes. I don't usually need to come in here often, so that's good. But if you're new to the neighborhood, visiting, or a tourist. Come here first.
Tony Wenz
Central spot for some general shopping. You can even pick up a Tesla.
Picturesque settings around Banyan tree. Free Wi-Fi and comfy seats down the back.
3 levels. Restaurants on 3rd floor.
They even have their own app (see pic).
Shelby
Great place to eat, take a coffee, eat a snack or just shop. You will find a long list of great and amazing things. Great opportunity to take some photos on the huge trees. Visit the pearl shop, the Kona coffee, the Japanese market and some bakeries as well as the restaurants.
Alan Varghese
A posh mall with many high end brands like Saks Fifth avenue, Balenciaga, Rolex, Tesla and a few everyday brands like Vans, Footlocker, Banana Republic etc. Tons of food options as well, with various cuisines and large price ranges (Liliha ($) to Herringbone ($$$)) and Marketplaces like Mitsuwa.
The ambience is really nice with an old large banyan tree in the middle. They have over 50 stores, so you will probably find what you are looking for or have a nice time trying. There is parking nearby.
Dr. Terrie S Reed
The International Market Place has over 100 shops and restaurants. We ate at several restaurants and visited most of the stores. Our two favorite restaurants were the Shorefyre and the Lilth Bakery, which served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Both places offered indoors and outdoors seating, great music and delicious food.
Ed C
Great place to start your shopping spree at the heart of Waikiki. There are plenty of luxury brands to choose from. The restaurant on 1st and 3rd floors are worth trying.
Mirka Mendez
Neat shopping mall. It's a good place to walk around even if you are not buying anything.
There are a couple of grocery stores if looking for a quick snack.
Plenty of sitting space.
Gavin Bollard
This is a very pretty shopping centre. It has a good food court which includes some unusual options and the entire top floor of the centre is given over to restaurants (and good quality, expensive restaurants at that).
Disabled access is excellent and the floor area is wide, lifts are available and there is a lot of seating.
There are often small market shops inside the centre and it is generally quite "gift store" and tourist oriented. There's also a Tesla store there, so it's well worth spending some time getting acquainted with the car of the future.
Apart from Tesla, there are no stores here that significantly stand out from other stores in the area but if you're looking for souvenirs, you'll find it here.
Brenda Johnson
Great location! A plethora of stores and restaurants to choose from. The aroma made me hungry! A wide variety of high end stores. Also, lots of comfortable seating which is rare in mainland malls!
Krista Leilani
Fun experience for Westside peeps! New shops, great upon dishes, awesome shopping at Saks, Hollister, Game Stop....yes, I'm a Mom of 3. Cute tree house that my girls liked👍🏽Dole whip & Macha swirls are DELISH! Ambiance is open and airy, loved the rocking chairs with charging stations by each chair. …
Joshua Clemons
Awesome mixture of a indoor and outdoor mall. Luve Banyan trees grow through it with the canopy being the roof in some areas. Excellent vibe. Great stores and food options.
Mark Kim
If you are sick and tired of finding prking lots just go here and pay for $3 for 30 min. Cheap and nice location.
5 min to Wakiki Beach and other famous restaurants.
Rock Jocelyn
Large shopping area with many of the classic mall vendors. Indoor set up was pretty and inviting. Beautiful tall trees and small mock streams. Better if fish were there 😀
#RockFromRI
Mark Hawley
Great place to shop and eat. Open-air 3 story mall is refreshing to shop in with lots of variety in the stores and easy parking in the attached parking ramp
Tamara
It’s a huge put down mall that stretch over a mile. The stores are on both side of the streets ranging from $$$$$ to $ price ranges stores. Since the tax rate is 4.5%; a lot of people from expensive countries come here to buy very high end items like Herms purses (prices start at 10k ), MiuMiu, etc. There are affordable store for us nominees! There also a lot of different dinning option and cafes.
Mark M
Gotta see this place while you're in Honolulu. Beautiful atriums pull the shops together...Banyan trees 75+ years old weaved into the main entry court. Plenty of dining to choose from. Huge variety of shops on three levels with wheel chair access to all levels by elevator. Several escalators make moving from floor to floor fast and easy. And, as the pictures confirm, it is a beautiful place to shop.
Pierre Joubert
Always great to visit with the great atmosphere and the shows, and not to forget the selection of shopping options. Highly recommended.
Beverly M Chapman
It was so hard deciding which way to shop. This place is absolutely stunning! Every imaginable cuisine could be found here. Plus, the interior architecture is brilliant! The music was beautiful and the reflection pond was tranquil. You need at least a few hours to see everything! This place is on my "Must Go To" List, again.
Deven Miles
A great place. Every shop you can imagine. Loved the open roof concept. And no doors on the entrance and exit.
Aaron Brousseau
International Village has a huge selection of shops and restaurants, the food court is next to none, this place is a visual treat for the eyes, lots of seating and greenery it has an indoor outdoor feel. I love that they kept the original banyan tree and designed around it
Namitha Srinath
Conserving that banyan tree and building the mall around it is commendable! Easy parking structure, reasonable rates.
Gary Hoolsema
Shops, restaurants, entertainment all in a quaint area under palm and banyan trees. Don’t have to worry about cars and bikes in this multi level open air building complex.
Tyce Treadway
Very well-kept mall with lots of options for food, shopping, and fun. One of the coolest and largest malls I’ve ever been in if you’re in need of shopping or more. Definitely check it out.
Tomomi I
I usually come here for ☕ coffee & pastries at Kona Coffee Purveyors | b patisserie, 🍨 Halo-halo at Magnolia Ice Cream, 🍱 bento at Mitsuwa, 🍩 malasada at Liliha Bakery!
Oh, and on Thursdays, grab fresh fruits & sugar cane juice farmers market!
Besides shipping, sometimes, local birds are hanging out at the trees there too. Look out for some Manu-o-Kū. They are really cute 💗
A great place to get good casual food, clothing, and produce in the heart of Waikīkī!
MDH
Touristic of course, but you can rest in shade, get food, shop and enjoy live music. Oh you can charge your phone too, although I wish there were more outlets!!
Robert Schuppert-McDonald
When you walk into the open air market there are a few places to get less expensive take away or eat there. High-end stores and restaurants throughout the mall. Take the escalator to the second floor to the Japanese market to find some unusual quick bites. There is also a good ice cream shop. On the third floor they have public seating and an outstanding bakery. I only gave 4 out of 5 stars since the name doesn't reflect what's contained inside.
Aletia-Sophia Bourne
What a beautiful place. There are fabulous ancient trees in the centre, and the whole place has been designed with a nod to the local culture. Quality, high end stores, that are not all chain stores. Local independent artisans and artists, great food area and, as everywhere in Hawaii, you are surrounded by welcoming, kind hearted, respectful and genuine people. What's not to love?
Jackson Ramland
Great place to look around, a great range of shops and food. Also seeing the amazing tree house was fun. A nice place to visit and shop. Keeping the tree while building the shopping around it was a brilliant idea.
Danny Quynh Lam Ong
Beautiful shopping mall plus restaurants on third floor. It's Hawaii. :)
Barb G
Beautiful mall, so many shops! Walkways are open and the breeze keeps you cool. Great place
KB
Beautiful mall with many nice retail shops and restaurants and very nicely decorated and landscaped. One of the nicest malls I have ever been to. I wish the restaurants had a little more variety, though! My wife and I had difficulty finding a restaurant with menu items we both wanted. She is mostly vegetarian and neither of us eat shrimp, shellfish or lobster. We really enjoyed the free Hula show. We also did eat in the food court and the food was good! I really wish the old international market place still existed though. It sucks that it was completely replaced. It was a fun place to shop for souveniers before the new mall! It is too bad it could not have been moved somewhere else, so people could still enjoy it.
Cathy C
It's a wonderful experience in Waikiki for shopping, live music/dancing performances if timed right, and do be sure to dine at restaurants on third level. Lots of variety and excellent dining choices. Every type of store is present, and a great respite from the Hawaiian sun...lots of shade.
Nathan Harrison
A lot of stores to find anything you could possibly want. Very clean and safe.
Bellin Tantania
I love it. Plenty of the stores. Beautiful interior design
Tropical Breeze
Let me just say WOW! What a spectacular experience. They're is shops galore, great food establishments and you can even buy a brand new Tesla. They have a Tesla showroom. Atmosphere just so relaxing and you can even attend a Hawaiian Luau while at the market place. Just a great experience, well done!!!
Stephanne Ritter
AMAZING market
Kinda the hub in Honolulu
We walked back and forth multiple times a day for four days. Lots of shopping and food to choose from.
There is some cool water features inside and trees.
This market is a must if you go to Honolulu.
Joe Cheng
This place looked completely unrecognizable from my visit 10 years ago. I guess the old actual marketplace had to give way for the high-end shops that are there now. Nothing wrong with the redevelopment but as a tourist the old style of marketplace with small gift shops and stalls is the kind that a lot of tourists like me would expect to find here.
Rachel Drake
Definitely the prettiest mall that I’ve ever seen. There are a ton of shopping and eating options, like seriously name the store and they have it. What’s so cool is the history of the place, leave it to my nerdy husband to find a way to make a shopping mall historic. The marketplace has been here for decades and changed a little over the years. The whole thing is built around a banyan tree and a treehouse someone originally lived in. It’s beautiful and a great place to walk around and kill sometime with a shaved ice.
Tech1311 M
This was inside food hall. Bartender very friendly. Went for happy hour 3 beers
V
I love walking around this place, there are many stores and there is a nice restaurant area upstairs with some lounge type seating.
I do wish they had a few scattered tables & chairs to sit in, in addition to the couches. I loved the Farmer's market, which was on a Thursday afternoon.
Ryo Shigemitsu
A lot of good shops and a beautiful place to hang out. Very kids and family friendly!!
AP
This is located on the main street near Waikiki beach. There are lots of hotels, shops, restaurants, gift shops and many more stores around the area. There lots of parking here and is $3 for 30 mins and can be validate if you buy with any shop . There two entrance and one entrance has big baniyan tree inside the market place . This is very crowded place . It has restrooms and they are clean .
Edwin Cevallos
I like the Market place.
Great location, lots of restaurants & stores.
Preston L Ferrell
I must admit, I miss the old "swap meet" shops that filled this area. They were part of Waikiki's character. However, I guess the change was necessary. Most of the new shops are too upscale for me. But, the center itself is very nice, beautiful.
Debra Johnson
A little something for everyone. Plenty of places to sit and relax.
Steven J Hunter
This semi open air mall is worth a tourist stop. It has a unique history, ambiance, and a freaking huge banyan tree in it. It's also one of the cheaper places to eat in the area.
Stacey Powell
We shop till we couldn't walk anymore. Wow, this place is awesome. Every high-end store you can name is here. Anything you want is here. It was great to be in a thriving mall again. This place is like its own city.
Keith Lang
This is a beautiful outside/ open air mall. They have a lot of beautiful things to look at. They have loads of stores ( most are on the fancier and more expensive side of things, like Louis Vatton, Tesla, Rolex... but they also have normal stores as well).
They also have certain nights where they have live events going on, like torch lightings and such. Every Thursday they have a local market set up in the main walk area where you can buy a lot of different items that are locally made.
Kat
Outdoor market place with lots of cool shops and banyan tree’s everywhere.
Romesh Persaud
We ate at the food court and were able to get pizza, Greek food and smoked bbq. All good food and reasonable prices. Also TV to watch NFL etc for those sports enthusiasts.
Seema Arora
Very nice place.. nice people.. nice view 😊 …
Gianna Madison
Great place to visit and shop. Sales tax is under 5%. Prices for some items can be high because it is an island but you can find something for everyone, from shoes, clothes, souvenirs, food, jewelry, etc.
Jessica Hackney
The most beautiful mall I've ever seen.
Rachel Doute
Just walked through however lots of great shopping places. And the parking is very reasonable. Six hours was $15. We were only there for the parking :))
World Explorer (Travel)
This place is amazing after years of renovations. It has everything you need from supermarket, restaurants, coffee shops, breweries to shops. It even has a Tesla store. It’s located in the center of the Waikiki neighborhood, so it’s always crowded. There is a farmer market on Thursday, and it’s a great opportunity to get fresh fruit and Hawaiian handmade items.

Cool indoor/outdoor style shopping mall. The Japanese market upstairs was my favorite place to go for snacks and quick meals on the go!
A Brakke
Some great shops miss the traditional shops. Still some great places to shop and a nice outdoor mall. I am in love with the HUGE tree there
Albert Jeszke
Not the former International Market Place.More like a modern mall. Some interesting shops but most were high end. Upper floor restaurants were something we enjoyed.
Eric Kai
Got some good brands here. The night market is a bit underwhelming.
Isabelle Cucinella
What stands out about this mall is the foliage. With the big, beautiful tree growing inside to the indoor waterfall, this is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
Dave Skorupski
Fantastic shopping area with an overwhelmingly wide variety of niche and contemporary retail items, from clothes to gifts and everything in between.
There are two levels of stores and the layout is elaborately spread out. You can spend many hours there if you wanted to see evrrything. There are several "common" areas colorfully decorated and include live trees for an "exotic" flair.
There was a live hula demonstration when I visited in one of the "common" areas, which was fun to watch. The dancers allowed "selfies" to be taken afterwards.
Refreshments are available along with sitting areas if you need to rest from what could turn into a long walking excursion.
John Red
The international market place open air shopping and dinning mall is great example of preservation and design. The space is beautifully designed around an old historic tree. The tree is huge!... the design incorporates the tree and second level is a tree house on top of that tree what’s a great idea.
There are many Restaurants to choose from, to the high end price range to the moderately priced. The restaurants are very modern , The price range varies depending on your taste level pallet.,, but overall the space is amazing it’s a great place to visit from the hectic craziness of the busy tourist Streets.
Jared Bayley
The International Market Place is such an eccentric part of Waikiki. I LOVE visiting it when I travel to Waikiki with my family! There are many interesting stores to check out. I really like the National Geographic outlet, it's really cool seeing all the awesome pictures on the walls inside. There is a gigantic banyan tree that wraps in and out of the marketplace; it's totally incorporated into the design and I love it. Lots of seating space can be found in the marketplace. In addition, there are sometimes shows put on (when I was there they happened every night after sunset) that are really fun and entertaining for tourists (and anyone). I highly recommend checking out the International Marketplace when you're in Waikiki!
Michael Breen
Love the jewellery stores in there. Mostly Hawaiian made and some very unique pieces. No cheap 9ct gold here and the quality is great.
Pseudo Nym
Very nice large shopping area. Lots of variety of stores. Even has some food options as well!
Chris Amendola
Glad to see they kept the original trees that were always there but you will no longer be able to go to the market place for trinkets and be able to negotiate deals with locals. It's all high end stuff that most foreign tourist will be shopping at, which is too bad. Only reason it gets 4 stars is because it's a very nice clean well done place
Fabio C.
Awesome place if you want to have a walk for shopping while in Waikiki. I liked the way it's built, it seems to walk through a forest with water, plants and a house on the tree, it looked amazing with the Christmas decorations. Nice shops and good choice for food, good local hamburgers at the store on the main floor with some tables on the street!
Viktor Turek
Really nice open air mall! Everything can be found here. I like the Japanese grocery store.
Darron Wood
Beautiful market place with numerous shops and eateries. The new Mangun PI was being filmed here while we were there.
Edward Rutherford
A very nice place to walk around and shop. It is constantly being updated and they're some very nice upscale shops.
Oug Dubya
Great live music. Awesome atmosphere. Large selection of cocktails and liquor. Great time!
Jeffrey Tuggay
Alot of good restaurants and stores to get some shopping done here. Gotta try Shore Fyre Bar n grill very good Loco Moco served here...
Daithí Kilcourse
An up market mall. Plenty of shops and stores here. You can catch some Polynesian acts here also. We were lucky enough to be passing through on a Sunday evening and caught some acts. They were brilliant.
Paul Griego
Lots of shops and great scenery. Nightlife is great with special vendors and street performers.
Sheree Wakefield
Variety of shops and restaurants, great spaces to sit and wait while waiting for others, the Banyan tree and tree house in the centre amazing.
YY Chiu
Really like this shopping mall, combing both indoor and out. Yes, it's not the same as before the reno with small gift stalls and replaced by higher end shops but still enjoy the experience. We walk through this mall everyday to get to Waikiki Beach and the busier strips. Love the free Wi-Fi (very fast) at the mall and there is Kona Coffee Purveyors (great coffee and pastries, a bit pricey but good) across the street, Mitsuwa Marketplace (Japanese grocery and food market) on the 2nd floor, a car rental agency (Avis/Budget) inside the mall near the escalators. We love this as we can rent the car just for the day we need and return without having to pay parking! Note: There is a side street that has all the small gift stalls (similar to the IMP stalls before) a few streets down.
Kiril Penchev
It is an interesting and nice place. There are more than 100 shops. Visit it.
Lion Master
This structure is beautiful! The way they designed it around a huge tree in the middle, is simply amazing. It has 3 levels for all your shopping needs. Great place to people watch while learning about local culture. It's almost as if it is an inside out structure. With escalators to help you to that next level. Plus it has an elevator for handicap individuals. It is a must see if you are ever in Waikiki.
W Gmail
Very nice and modern mall with some great food options from upscale dining to casual options. Kona coffee on the ground floor has delicious espresso drinks and pastries by b patisserie.
Andrew Seelall (MrAndy)
Beautiful open design with a variety of stores and restaurants! Can wonder here for awhile without buying anything and still have some good time.
Tarico Hampton
Was a pretty nice mall would have been nice if there was more places to eat.
Patrick Cabeza De Baca
Beautiful mall filled with high end shops restaurants Japanese food market. Market has beautiful garden landscaping filled with trees , statue's just a nice place to browse and shop
ulle

Vincent Randy Heslop
Wonderful outdoor mall with 3 floors of shopping and restaurants. There is a Saturday market with wonderful homemade foods including fresh cut fruits and Thai cusine, a must try! FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world 🌎 …
Lou Urzua
Great places to eat and shop. The restaurants range from steak houses to burgers. A lot of options to choose from. We had a lot of fun.
William Clemot
Great place to walk and eat and take pictures, the trees are beautiful and everything is very well maintained, if you’re in the Waikiki as area definitely add this to your places to visit.
Sincerely
Will & Yoly
Cindy Piecukonis
There's a beautiful banyan tree and a statue of Don Ho. Totally worth the walk, however bathroom opens at 11 a.m
j noyes
Really cool open air place to shop, scenery and landscaping are awesome... so many shops and stores.. some are familiar and some are very local and interesting..3 levels with trees growing up through the middle.. very nice experience for shopping.
Jay Marie Knight
Love what they've done with the remodel. So new age and beautiful, great shops they really have the best store lineup. And the banyon tree in the middle is gorgeous. Go to the 3rd floor and have happy hour/dinner overlooking a great view !!
Thawn Lowing
Childhood favorite. It's been renovated and the new look is quite impressive. Still love wandering through here.
Robert Lewis
Im not a real fan of really crowded places and this was crowded. Cool shops and places to eat but all on the expensive side. Great place to sit and watch people and if you like the hustle and bustle you will like this.
Edith Stine
Italian Gelato with local flavors. What a treat! I had to try the Dragin Fruit and Ube. The vibrant colors were fun and flavorful. The purple Ube flavor reminded me of the filing in an oreo cookie. The bright fushia dragon fruit reminded me of rainbow sherbet. There were at least 12-14 flavors, so give them a try.
Jovan Kun
Nice place for shopping and relaxing, the indoor decor ia nice especially the big tree
S Ng
Great little space. The National Geographic Gallery is fantastic. There are nice indoor touches which make you feel like you are in the tropical forest. And at the back is a very nice coffee shop. Upstairs there are some high end restaurants. Somewhat pricey so we didn't eat there but nice areas to drink a coffee.
Norma Torres
Beautiful huge tree in the middle, many stores to shop at and various restaurants with drink specials. Music too.
Yvelisse Badell
Beautiful and cozy Mall...loved it
Tony Jones
This is a amazing and unique mall with the indoor and outdoor feel. Everyone should come here and experience it.
Andrew O'Leary
This has got everything, including free entertainment at sun set. Restaurants are quite expensive as you'd expect in Hawaii however I'd recommend the flour and barley. Amazing pizza there.
Lisa Phan
Very nice place to walk around. Stores are on the higher end and restaurants can be pricey. Easy parking with large stalls.
Sharif Matar
Not like it used to be in the good old days. Now just a bunch of big mall stores.
SouthSide Cee
Beautiful mall. 3 floors. Outside/inside mall. Lot of stores and not crazy packed like you might be use too.
Mel McKay
Wow, you have to come to this place, it's like a magic grotto. You can really feel the spirit of Hawaii in here. Running water ponds, cultural info, heart. Had one of the three best massages of my life in here with Wendell at the Shiatsu Massage Centre. Oh god, I feel so good. Wendell you hero. Then when I was done being healed, food was everywhere, market stalls! And beautiful Hawaiian jewellery! And Manolo! This is where the Queen's Luau is held, good too by all accounts, but I'm vegan so I'm not paying a lot of money to eat poi and salad.🤙🙏🦘
Miguel Lima (chunkslima2011)
The best little shops next to our Hotel 🏨 …
Dustin Kwee
This place was recently renovated, so it's absolutely beautiful. Despite having a relatively small entrance, the mall is actually quite large. With the evening breeze, this mall is a pleasure to walk around. They have an amazing food court as well.
tehya posey
A shopping plaza has 3 levels with restaurants around too.
Amanda Reed
It was amazing!! Hawaii has been great all the west around and things was a very high end shopping plaza, I would compare it to Santana row in San Jose California. Full of coach, louie Vuitton, Tesla, alot of expensive strikes! But none tree lines the expense is great!
Sam Blair
Great store. They have one on every block it seems in Honolulu. They have food, snacks, make up, beach wear, towels, gifts, cigs. Alcohol candy. You name it and it's probably offered here
Michelle Nakagawa
A very pricey shopping mall filled with high end stores, but also a couple of local type Asian markets. The huge tree in the middle of it is amazing and the treehouse a tribute to Don Ho.
Daryn Meadows
This higher end shopping mall was a cool place to visit. My wife and I were looking for a place to kill a couple of hours before going to the airport to fly out and walking/lounging around this place worked perfectly. They had a cool tree house, a beautiful "zen" garden, a lot of different shops.
Della Cleveland
Great for sightseeing. This mall is open air with banyan trees coming out of the center. Shopping and restaurants. A great spot to check out.
Pauline Wong
A nice clean, modern open-air mall with a variety of retail shops, with many catering toward the high-end luxury brands. Lots of restaurants as well as coffee shops and a Japanese market. The shopping center was built around Donn's Treehouse, which was a nice little historical focal point. But to be honest, I preferred the original "market place" - a maze of open-air souvenir kiosks.
Virginia Riley
Very pretty and relaxing. In the heart of Waikiki. Food was awesome and extensive. Prices were Comparable to the area. Atmosphere was good.
john p
Very well laid out mall in the center of Waikiki. Unique shops throughout with good pricing. The plants all through the mall make for a nice atmosphere.
Average Guy
It's not the same open market with stalls that I visited 25 years ago, today its a full fledged, 3 story mall with everything that you could want/need... from stores, to restaurants (sit down and fast food) and dessert places too. Something for everyone
WOW ENTERTAINMENT WEDDING DJS & EVENT LIGHTING INC
Back in the '80s this used to be an open-air market with bead stands and small souvenir type things to buy. In the last few years this has blossomed into a fully enclosed mall built around a massive ancient Banyan tree. Every night at sunset they do a torch lighting ceremony in traditional Hawaiian style. The small has turned into a very chic place to shop for all the high-end brands. One end of the marketplace comes out on Kalakaua avenue and The other end comes out onto Kuhio avenue. Absolutely I must see if you come to Oahu. - Joey

It's a newly renovated shopping center. Really nice and lovely at night. I recommend the evening show they have every night that gives a little context to the history of the area. It is free! This is also one of the few places that has the Honolulu Cookie Company store.
Kirk Stuberg
Very neat mall set up. Lots of different kinds of shops. Nice restaurants. We tried Strip Steak and it was very good.
Stephen Chivers
History, culture, high end shopping, novelty entertainment, great food, huge parking garage attached. Good retail place or just go if weather ruins plans for day in Wikkikii.
Brent Huffman
A very unique place with many shopping and eating options. We did not explore the shopping as we were there to eat in the amazing food court. Parking was easy in the 6 floor garage, but was $12 for 90 minutes.
Konstantinos Rizakos
Am not a fan of malls, but this is one of the prettiest in Honolulu. Has an abundance of open space, pretty landscaped restaurants upstairs, and a nightly show starting around 6:30pm.
Craig Wright
It's such a lovely space to hang out. Great for young kids to run around in the main area. They put on a show and dance at 7pm every night.
Daniel Anderson
Great stores lots of different kinds of stories. Food court and restaurants have a large and diverse kinds of food.
Michael Fortenberry
There is a ton of great places to visit, shop and eat while you’re in the international market place in Waikiki. We always like to stop by just to walk through the marketplace and do some people watching. Inevitably we end up leaving with something we have purchased or at least a good meal. The international marketplace is definitely a must see if you were visiting this area of Honolulu.
Tony Straughter
Amazing place.to shop with High end stores, restaurants. But what is even Better. Is the hula ceremony they perform every day around 6:30 PM. It's a must do!
Barry Shaw
Amazing shopping mall. Literally has huge trees growing up thru the main center. Right on the main street where the street performers do their acts, etc..
Trisha “Miss T Pain” C.
Lots of cool shops and places to eat! You've got the "Aloha" and "Waikiki" light signs to take pics with as well!
Glenn Cerny
Convenient low fee parking for the area. Rich history. Check out Donn Beach tree house on the way out to the beach.
Ben
awesome place to browse and shop
Lots of new stores to visit and good place to eat too, very close to the beach as well
Crystal Firestone
Great indoor/outdoor mall. Nice variety of stores, mostly high end brands but they threw in a really cool Japanese market upstairs and a street food court downstairs. But by far the best part is the rainforest like landscaping, with banyan trees and water features with lots of comfortable seating. Also there is a sugarfina, my new favorite candy store.
Rebecca Pankratz
The design is beautiful with plenty of water gardens and the large tree in the middle. Lots of high end shopping for those that enjoy that sort of activity. We also had lunch at the food court at Burger Hale. Very good. This is a decent place to walk around.
Fiona Grey
Walked through while on a business trip. Great open mall with a restful small park and touches of Hawaiian history. There is a treehouse and several open seating areas surrounded by beautiful flowers to sit for a few minutes. Get the coco puff from Liliha's. A great employee at Hashi & Spoon had the marketing skills to draw me in, then kept me from a food allergy exposure and recommended Banzai Burger next door instead - mahalo!
Lisa Coins
Pretty bougie since it's been re done but good variety of stores. Restaurants are $$$. I like the pupus and portions at Shoefryre
Jordan Cadiz
Great place in waikiki!!! A must for locals and visitors alike! Som many shopping and food/drink options its great place to chill and hang out or quick lunch or night out spot!
Anita Brown
This is a neat shopping and restaurant complex with parking. Wander through and enjoy the beautiful gardens and shop or just relax. There are three levels the top level has the restaurants.
Rickie Curcio
A fun place to shop and eat at. Very clean and well kept place there is a bit of everything there.
Andy McNeill
One of our favorite shopping spots. The outdoor areas were great for the kids and they shops had something for everyone. We enjoyed the food market and the best was the statue of Don Ho. Brought memories back from way back when. Tiny Bubbles!
Branden
Good food options and shopping. Very trendy mall in the heart of Waikiki. They kept the old International Market Place tree and live music is played there daily.
A. Anderson
Beautiful architecture. Live music nice. Really enjoy the customer service (Tommor), food, and atmosphere at Flour & Barley.
Jarek Halat
I used the parking garage while walking around. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and it's only 2 small blocks from Waikiki Beach.
Amy Homer-Brown
The daily cultural evening show is wonderful! The shops are great and many are high end. Also has Mitsuwa - a great Japanese food store that also contains Match Love which Carrie's my favorite black sesame shake :)
aLvin Yee
Modern architecture, which preserved the historical bayan tree as it is. Very impressive.
Have lots of seating areas with good designed chairs. Have many luxury brands, and 3rd floor filled with fancy restaurants. This marketplace has transformed into an upscale shopping mall.
Bill Fong
I enjoyed visiting the new mall in the middle of Waikiki. In the old days, it was an open mall with various vendors in carts but I enjoyed visiting the now new mall and seeing the stores and restaurants. I am glad that they keep the old tree in the mall to remind us of days gone-past. Thrilled to dine, at Liliha Bakery, which offered my favorite comfort food, the Loco Moco, in the new mall. Prices were reasonable for dining at a tourist-area. They even offered drinks, which I never imagined while I dined at the original location. Looking forward to being a tourists in my hometown again soon.

Located in the heart of Waikiki, this beautiful and impressive shopping centre/mall is a nice replacement to the old International market. It's so much bigger than I had imagined it when it was just a market along with the old Miramar hotel. I was totally blown away by how structurally beautiful this building was. I was in awe to see the old Banyan tree still there as promised by the developers/builders. With so many varieties of popular stores as well as the many great restaurants at the roof top, this new International market will be one of Waikiki's very popular landmarks for years to come.
Joe K.
The newly revamped place is awesome. It's becoming more of a mall now than before. The design is magnificently welcoming for tourists and locals alike. There's Macy's, Skechers, GameStop, Nike, and many more, including Stripsteak.
Michael Wong
Godiva Chocolate Shop - if you like ice cream and you're staying in Waikiki and wondering where to go for a sweet treat you must visit Godiva Chocolate shop on 2nd level. Sharmaine and Theo will prepare a delicious white chocolate vanilla bean or dark chocolate soft serve for you in a waffle cone or cup. If you can't decide you can go the "Twist" with both flavours together. Yum!
Paxton Tufford
The parking here is great and an excellent place in the center of Waikiki. It is also for very affordable rates of 4 dollars an hour.
A Mac
One of the most beautiful shopping malls I’ve ever seen. Make sure to go upstairs and check the restaurants out and get pizza at the pizzeria on the third floor. Also make sure to take some pictures. This place is gorgeous
BinLee S
The International Market Place is amazing!
What's not to like about it?
It's very beautiful inside. There's a great selection of stores to shop at.
There's a Magnolia's on the second floor. If you've never had a Halo Halo, I highly recommend that you try it out!
qlv assoc
Located in the middle of Waikiki strip. It used to be a funky open air market with many small booths selling knock-off, low-end t-shirts, souvenirs, etc for bargain seeking tourists. Not any more. Now it has been transformed into an upscale, multi story mall with several brand-name stores such as Tesla, Pandora, See Candy's etc, many restaurants, a Mitsuwa grocery. Parking entrance is on the Kuhio side. Some of the distinghed feature of the old time is still preserved: the massive banyan tree.
Arash Salamati
Great shopping center with some nice designer stores. Great food options and really well designed interior for taking some photos
Ray D
It's a wonderful place, especially the nightly entertainment. But there are too many high end shops. Take a walk through Saks and you'll only find a handful of people. You need more shops visitors can relate to.
Joe Garcia
Cool, trendy place. Very close to our hotel. Food options were pretty good.
Delila Ramirez
We liked it here. There is a variety of stores here and snack shops/ice-cream shops.
Cristi
Beautiful place to shop, kinda feels like you're in a tree house with the trees, ponds, and plants throughout the marketplace.
marty bloom
A lot of big-name shops with over priced items. There is an alley next to the market with friendly vendors selling unique items.
Alex W
It's a very tropical atmosphere, with high end shops and a few intermediate ones like ABC and a Japanese one, however at the time of writing this, The Street Food Hall is indefinitely (permanently?) Closed. It doesn't say when/ if it will reopen, just a "mahalo for the support over the years".
Rich Johnson
Tour the art gallery. Sit beneath the Banyan tree. Shop.
World Wide Ed
Miss the old IMM but change is good I suppose. They have some local merchants at this extravagant new shopping center and a large parking lot desperately needed in Waikiki so some points for that! 😂 …
Michael Brunt
Great area for shopping with many great stores to puruse. Excellent center courtyard with a beautiful banyan tree.
Jiin Jeong
Very good mix of shops from brand shops (Abercrombie’s, Foot Locker) to local artist shops. Amazing place for shopping. Also has a big Japanese market and nice spots for photos
Byung Don Jang
Good location to browse and buy lots of stuffs in this shopping mall.
There are huge real trees inside the mall so we can take a rest and play around it;
I’ve been some jewelry shops and local tee shirt store to buy items and we loved it;
Even washroom is clean but somewhat not easy to find it (too much inside the shopping center)
I hope we can visit this shopping center soon with my family members in near future!
Ryan Welch
Decent stores but beautiful mall. Hula show is cheesy but fun. Neat landscaping.
stephen f
Large portions. A little on the expensive side (in Waikiki). Altho the Loco Moco looked tasty, was pretty bland.
Soledad Marcial
Lovely to walk around, do some shopping and dining.
Char Bees
It is completely different from the original international marketplace we all knew and loved but the remodel is beautiful and the tree house area is amazing and peaceful and a place you can visit alone and just relax for a while. I loved it!
Kimberly Turner
Every store in the Market Place was awesome. Enjoyed my vacation to Hawaii 💞 …
Jeff Baker
Loved the place when it was an outdoor market. Upscale stores fun to visit and shop around.
false
nice place to stroll at night after dinner. the way it’s designed is quite beautiful (pond, banyan trees, fairy lights). lots of big brands here if you’re into shopping.
A. McQ
I love this mall especially for its Banyan tree in the middle and the Farmers Market it has sometimes. My favorite spot is Modos inside the Japanese deli. I noticed a lot of homeless people laying and sitting on the furniture during the day sometimes they're acting rude. But mostly they're just enjoying a comfortable seat.
Debbie Nechiporenko
These stores are fun to shop in. They are very friendly. Very clean store. They had something for everyone's budget. Even hi end merchandise.
Brent Babcock
This is a safe, fun mall to walked around to eat, shop and receive a wonderful massage…
Tenn Dozen2016
Variety of shops from High end such as Tiffany's and Coach to Macy's and Billabong. Multi level mall with restaurants on the top level, just across the street from the sandy beaches of Waikiki!
trl1971
I missed the old International Market Place. Most of the shops are higher end and the Hawaiian feel isn’t there.
Es Brake
This shopping area has a nice, relaxing atmosphere. I really appreciate how clean the employees keep it. Bring some money because it's fun and easy to spend here.
Kt Donohue
I ate in the lower level food court lots of options fun group experience.
Jane Homma-Tan
A lot of shops but I personally love the courtyard within. They also do a show every night for free to show the history of Hawaii.
Bryon Bedel
Amazing experience to hear and see the music, dancing and history of Hawaii. Very educational and very humbling experience.
Marcin Ambrożej
Great spot for shopping snd dining! Interesting architechture. Really nice National Geographic Gallery with pictures.
Callum Wearne
A truly great mall with so much to offer including some great rooftop bars
Corin Hoskins
Wonderful shopping store. Many high end designer stores and a lovely place to take a break from the beaches, open air mall with plenty of sun everywhere. Lots of great food spots and a 2$ beer spot at beer and b merry. Love this spot almost as much as the ala moana mall.
Sunny Doun
The original IMP was torn down & there went the Tiki bar. The new IMP however is bigger & better. 3 stories of an open walking, shopping, & food places. It has interesting shops. You can get a Tesla there !
Rycki Etienne - Cree
Real nice, wonderful, to enjoy what has been done to the place. Love that there are places to sit and just relax and enjoy the beauty.
feloor talebi
I like the place. Although the shops are made for all this ridiculously rich Asians. There is a good energy in the market, maybe because of the huge ancient Banyan in the middle of the market or the very nice architecture of the open mall. I loved walking through the mall.
Jason Chen
Very nice semi-outdoor shopping mall. Just walking through is an enjoyable experience because of all the ponds and trees that they maintain there. They also offer a free hula show which was a good intro to Hawaiian culture. I recommend the restaurants upstairs and stopping by the Natiinal Geographic gallery
Katherine Pacpaco
Great location in the heart of Waikiki. They have a variety of stores and restaurants not just the upscale ones. They also validate parking so it’s a good option as you can walk around Waikiki while visiting the International Market Place. They even have shows so you can see and feel some culture while you shop. Right next door in Dukes Lane is the original market place so you can still buy from the street vendors selling souvenirs, clothing and jewelry from the vendor carts vs the commercial stores.
They also have several places throughout the marketplace which serves as awesome photo ops.
lambert leong
Parking is expensive without a validation. They close all restrooms 5 min prior to the closing time of the majority of the shop but not all the shops. In other words, shops and business are still open, don't have a bathroom, and customers are just out of luck. Also, just don't close them early and it will save people from the headache and confusion.
amy tsutsumi
Beautiful mall in the heart of Waikiki. Little kids absolutely love the Celestial Pond to splash around in. So many great food options and shops! It is so pleasant just to walk around in there with all of the water features and the original Banyan Tree.
Noodle Nation
A really cool place to shops lots of outdoor space but you don’t want to stay here forever because for God’s sake you are I. Beautiful Hawaii
Michael Gorman
Upscale shopping mall. Soft serve dark chocolate Godiva ice cream on second floor. Sit and relax on rocking chairs by the large banyan tree inside mall.
Ox Hollywoods
It's nice being the only rebuilt building in the last 10 years in Waikiki the restaurants are high in so they're kind of pricey but they're nice they have expensive stores and cheap stores which is cool but it's $9 to park it does not say that when you go in you find out when you leave... But if somebody's leaving and you pull out right behind them the gate stays open and it's free to park so make sure you follow somebody out
Patrick Dockry
I really like the new lay out. The incorporated the Banyon trees in the design. We really enjoy the center courtyard and the varying entertainment and event going on there. Last year we took our 4 year old trick or treating there for Halloween it was great.
Paul Tracy
Don’t believe the reviews, go there. Nice restaurants on 3rd floor. Saw a hula show too.
It’s not what it was in the 60’s, but it’s still nice. And there’s a lot to do in the area as well.
Evelyn Simmons
A wonderful experience, great parking access! Food courts close early, which made it hard to find food, but shopping was fun. Elevator access convenient. Beautiful Market Place, nicely decorated.
Peter T
Nice place to walk around to avoid the heat. Like most American malls but with added restaurants at the very top and trees inside. Also some outlet to sit and charge your phone by the trees near Tesla
Marlon C
the one thing i really loved walking around the market place is how it feels like i was walking in a forest. They had a waterfall trees everywhere and simply amazing. Very historic. Parking/valet available. I will definitely return to that place.
Justin Ingraham
The International Market Place housed several restaurants and shops. We went to Sure Fyre, Skybox, and Playbar.
Ray Smiley
Had lunch on the 3rd floor terrace. Quieter then down at street level and was very enjoyable.
Sarah Glynn
Wondered into this place while exploring Waikiki area. Its an upscale shopping area thats fun to walk through and people watch. If you make it up tot the roof there are several great restaurants with nice 'rooftop deck' atmosphere and good food. If you make it down one e d to the street there is a neat 'inside food market' restaurant. You can walk up to a different stand and get a huge variety of good food ranging from Mexican, to ramen, to pizza, or sushi all with a little Hawaiian flare.
Stephanie Gump
So many shops in one location. Situated centrally between Kuhio Avenue and Kalakaua. Pricy but it's Hawaii.
Michelle Dy
Nice mall. Walking distance from our hotel. Has a food court and a coffee shop. Has a hula show everyday at 6pm.
Jennifer Roberson
I liked this shopping center not really for the shopping though there are some good options for that. I loved the open air, the beautiful tree house and historical info, the security was super friendly too and offered to take pics at all kinds of spots. Staff in the stores were really nice too. Lots of photo op places and a nice variety of eating options on the third floor.
Cynthia Scott
Everytime in Oahu, my husband and I have to make several stops to this fun marketplace! Everything you need, or more like want, is most likely here. We must stop and visit Don Ho's statue every time (Don Ho is in all our photo albums 😀), and we love to go up to the treehouse too. There is always something going on in the evenings on the first floor in our experience (traditional Hawaiian dances, and other cultural activities) that will surely grab your attention. Definitely check out Mitsuwa Marketplace on the 3rd floor! Lots of yummy, fresh Japanese food to choose from!👍🏼You won't regret making a stop here!
Stanley Jensen
This is a very well thought out shopping Center, open air style but with moderate coverage for rain. The tree in the middle of this facility is absolutely stunning. If you’re looking to just get some steps in for the day or load your credit card up this is the place to do it. I’ve been here for five days and every day I have visited a different floor and discovered places that I did not know where there.
Rocky Kev
Gorgeous. Plenty of seating for travelers and shoppers. It doesn't feel stuffy or packed. Lots of trees and growing from the ground level all the way to the third floor. Bird chirps while you shop too!
Lovely combination of nature and modern amenities.
Tom Rusher
Very nice Shopping area. Under cover, nice and cool with a good selection of stores. You can take your time here. Has great Gardens and a huge Banyan Tree - Planted by a Kiwi (New Zealander)!
Lauren B
Great lot of shops in a beautiful open air mall surrounding a grand old banyan tree. Can't miss this stop in Waikiki. Lots of food options and different shops, including high end retail and lower end retail and cute gift shops.
Aditya Sarkar
Very cool and compact shopping mall! Looks very elegant and integrates nature into he design well. You can see trees in the middle and nice wood paneling. It's open air and the shops are cool too. Lots of entrances and great food options as well.
Satish Prasadi
Nice mall to visit, nice views from the 3rd floor of the mountains
Tran Vo
Gotta love an outdoor mall. The restaurants here are great and have a range of price for everyone.
Dharamveer Singh
Huge mall with an awesome open 3rd floor with plenty of restaurants.
Mark Reed
Great place to shop, restaurants on 3rd floor. Everyone very nice.
James Fregosi Jr.
We miss the old Market but they have done such a beautiful job at preserving the trees and improving the neighborhood it's a wonderful improvement. The shops and restaurants are great too.
Glen Strengers
Brand new International Market Place is an awesome place to shop & on upper levels good food. Love the way it is built around the old banyan tree. If you are looking for the old market stalls head down Dukes Lane.
Jose Nava (胡赛)
Great diversity in food options. Very clean and many shops to visit.
Andrew DuBeck
Not the little market it used to be, but still amazing and fun. You can walk around the multiple levels and do some shopping or stop at one of the restaurants.
Charles Choi
Very beautiful open air mall. A few unique Hawaii stores.
claudia cisneros
Beautiful shopping mall, with various departments stores and food vendors
kelvin
Very nice! Love the way the first floor is. You can get many different tastes in the third floor, Grand Lanai, which only has restaurants. Parking is not free but cheap.
Christine Mamuad
Lots of shops and eateries leaning towards the expensive side. The huge tree at the entrance is a beautiful centerpiece, and I am glad they built the mall around it. Really happy that Mitsuwa is here, with the requisite Santouka and MoDo inside. However, I would skip The Street food hall for being way overpriced.
Britton Kimmet
Clean and great shopping options. Lots of good food options avaible as well. Also a beautiful environment with a large Banyan Tree.
Ruby Fall
This place made us happy with a great tree.
v l
Cultural entertainment, lots of comfy seating, amazing giant banyan tree and flora throughout.
Jerry Pasquino
The show was excellent . Would go to see it again. Food was great!
Awesome World Travels
Beautiful place to have lunch or dinner...
Albert Lim
Well designed and very thoughtfully designed place in the heart of Waikiki
Grand Limousine
A can’t miss attraction. Something is always going on here. Excitement and refreshing.
Lucille Gaska
Loved this mall. Wish I could have spent more time there. I will be back.
Mark
What a one stop shop , amazing deals for gifts. Onda de mar is my recommendation
Ryjanne Green
Love this place ❤ we stayed in front of this place! Just Walking distance. Choke foods and drinks!
Wylma Robinson
No question that this is a Wow place! A five-star all around. But please do something pronto about the stinky Women’s Restroom on the ground floor. When I brought it to the attention of your so-called customer service desk, a nonchalant individual made some unbecoming flippant remarks, did say he would call it in to the cleaning department, but seemed so unconcerned and indifferent that I don’t know for sure that he did!! The restroom smelled bad yesterday and, again, today! Will it still smell bad tomorrow?
P.S. Two stalls are out of order….
kristie sweeney
Nice little shopping area it’s almost open air so to speak there are trees that grow up inside the mall area as the roofing area is all open at least the center area not the stores again it’s just a nice place to walk sit and take a quick break if you’d like it’s very clean something you should see if you’re there
Super Tax Genius
Lots of cool shops and a giant banyan tree. Mochi donuts in the back are delicious
Robert Sheldon
High end shops and great food options available. Giant banyan tree inside the mall is impressive! Chapel Hat store had Tilley AirFlo sun hats I was looking for in every size and available color. If you're looking for good footwear for the beach, then you'll find them at the Flip Flop Shop!
Susan Foust
I loved the International Market place. Great stores and shops and food. They even have Luau's here. We stayed 1/2 block from here.
Crystal Newbery
Lots of shops. Nicely landscaped with an awesome tree. History.
Dale Carlin
Good place to shop but prices higher than shops away from Waikiki
Jungsoo Lee
Great selection of shops and restaurants. Location is very convenient.
Michelle Land
So many options to choose from here from food, clothing, knick knacks, jewelry, etc. Checking out the farmer's market is a must!!!! I also liked how the fast food restaurants were well hidden.
Julie McMullen
Very much 5 star shopping! All major name bran stores ,top of the line. Beautiful very well kept and places to sit and relax.
Helene Johnson
We have eaten in the food hall twice. I live the selection and the food is really good. We had the Mediterranean, the Aloha Pizza and the gelato. All places were clean, friendly, and delicious food. Also the bar by Aloha pizza has a Mai Tai that is the BEST!!
Richard Mattish
A very upscale and fancy 3 level shopping center with lovely tropical landscaping. A lot of fun to walk around.
MAYRA MARTIN
Nice small shopping center
Del Tafoya
Very high end shopping; expensive, yet beautiful and scenic. Has alot of great options for dining.
INTEGRITY ADMIN
Wow, many shops and things to do. Including dancing at Shorefyre near the Kalakaua (makai) side of the property.
Donald Yip
I upgraded my original rating of 2 stars to 3 stars. This is primarily based on my original and first trip to Hawaii, Oahu, Honolulu back in 1998, and visiting the International Marketplace regularly during our stay. The mazes of little shops was a strong memory I took with me. Hence the original 2 star rating, as it was t replaced with a large 3 story mall consisting of high-end stores, which is not generally my avenue of shopping.
But after talking it over with a local, I learned that even Hawaii has to adjust and remold its image just a bit to fit in with trends and to accommodate its millions of visitors. Honolulu is Hawaii's New York City to New York, and San Francisco to California. And with that, despite fond memories, I punched my rating up to 3 stars. The new International Marketplace is indeed a beautiful and very well designed center. The "outside on the inside" concept is great, and makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable place to relax and soak in a bit of Honolulu. It's a place to visit and marvel at the detail and thought put into the design of the center.
Simon Grounds
Some great drinking and dining options up on the 3rd floor.
Terrance Beckett
Relaxing shopping center with a good variety of places to eat. The open courtyard on the first floor offers a respite for those with kids.
Luis Adame
Lively and with great variety. Although it has changed from featuring local vendors and excellent food kiosks to high end shops and boutiques, it is still a great place to visit while in Waikiki.
Eros
great place great food (LILIHA) cute for tourists. great location
Akash Balbadar
Great shopping area with lots to choose from if you've got the money. Lots of places to window shop from otherwise. There's live entertainment on the streets with bands and people dancing. It does get pretty packed though
William Nichols
I used to work there as a security guard in 1985 , & it was a big mess , locals would try to sell dope to the tourist , & it was fake ! Slot of Conn Artist & thefts from them . I lived there from 83 to 87 , maybe it's better now .😢 …
Milton Kauahi
Nice modern looking, good food choices and variety of shops
Cameron Kalani
Wow it is a lot different now, it's still a great place to walk around and shop at.
Ryan Luker
Uncountable places to shop and eat really beautiful
Noe Huerta
I love this place, so full of good energy and amazing stores.

It’s really relaxing place to go eat and watch the football game
Ana D. Segura-Flores
Omg 😱 International Market place
Nice Honolulu Hawaii with different good sushi 🍱 …
R M
Amazing outdoor mall!! So many choices for food and drinks as well as multiple stores!!
Debra Wilson
There're a lot of businesses in this complex. There's a lot of local and visitors from all over the world. It's almost a one place shopping center and they have a numbers of eating places too.
The Customers services location is way in the back instead of in the middle where it's easier to locate. The Customers services desk need to be inform of all the spwcial events taking place at this location.
When we first walk up there, there were three people talking and it took one of them a few seconds to realize we need to ask questions. The gentleman that help us yesterday seems to be impatient and gave us the feeling we were being rush or not really interested helping. The other two weren't any better, they continued to talk without listening and helping. We have been here before and we got A-1 services.
But overall we were happy and found what we were looking for and more information from stores on the second floors. We still miss the old vendors that were there before. It like a flea market and you could find all kinds of gifts.
Anthony Pemberton
This place has tons of shops and so many different things to look at. Everyone is super friendly and the open air is nice to walk in. Gets a little congested with all the perks and pieces are ok. Tax rate helps a lot in Hawaii.
Sweetocctober10
Great place to go lot of activities going on & good places to eat
Lily McGraw
It looks like on Thursday nights, they invite local vendors to set up tables to sell their art or food. This obviously creates alot of buzz and the market regained the vibe that used to be there with the original market place. Glad to see that and hope more vendors will be able to set up and sell. It's what's missing in the new market as it just doesn't have that original charm that made it special.
Ede Marshall
Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Great place to sit relax and watch the people
Erik P
Place is very modern with some decent stores, restaurants, and play areas.
They also get involved with activities like for Halloween handing out candy for the kids.
Big improvement from the old Market place and decent size parking structure.
Dave Julian
Every shop you can imagine and a food hall (Banzai Burger was out favorite), dining upstairs (Shore Frye again our favorite), and a Honolulu Cookie Company outlet (Super helpful).
Sharon Abney
Multiple stores, Great atmosphere and great restaurants.
C Baity

Jarrod Sutherland
Fantastic shopping centre. Very well set out and great atmosphere.
Dad Account
You have to come to believe it shops or kinds of shops. Food name brand stores shoes purses everything. You have to try the lobster rose in the food court. It's a beautiful outside mall
Blanche Mclean
I loved the huge trees right in the middle of this complex. The root structure of these trees was amazing and quite beautiful. It had an array of stores to browse in and these were open late in the evening
Boris Sztorch
Everything within walking distance in Waikiki. Spend $10 and seceive $16 validation off parking.
J Fa
This mall is always fun to walk around. It is clean and designed well, combining indoor & outdoor areas. It is mostly specialty shops. When things fully open back up, there is a nice clean area for children to play, as well as live hula & music events. Parking structure is available but a little pricey (like most areas in town).

I've lived here three years and I go at least once a week. Great local bar, happy hours and wandering. Rocking chairs situated in scenic spots and a Japanese market and terrific local ice cream. One of my favs in town.

Beautiful mall with trees and streams, mostly up-market stores. Its a relaxing, fun place to shop and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Kalakaua Avenue. Enjoy just walking around absorbing the beautiful design of the outdoors indoors.

Shopping center with local flavor fast food and restaurants.
Lee
Had a great time walking around this place. No longer the rag tag flea market of yesteryear. Some middle to highend stops there now. We still had a lovely time perusing this mall and bought a few items. Definitely experienced the Waikiki markup but that's what you do on vacation.
Alan Loo
A modern shopping center with a lot of things that you don't need.
Andrew Heetderks
Didn't like how they removed the flavor of the old traditional lnternational Marketplace. Took out small vendors, now have mall types, including the popular Tesla store
TheSuper Spoiled

Tourist trap. If you love high end shopping and crowds then this is the place for you. Food court had a good selection, but most weren't open on a Friday

OIFVET2X
Great place to grab some incredible food and shop. Love the atmosphere they created
Marshall H
The international market place has really been overhauled since my last visit and it's not the sketchy place it once was. There is a dedicated parking facility and each level feels open airy and light as you walk amongst the trees that have been there for so many years now. Pro tip: if your parking there for a few hours as you visit Waikiki, make sure to stop in the ABC store on the first floor near the waterfall and make a $10 purchase to get a parking validation which will knock $10 off your total parking fee. You can grab something small that you want or need instead of just paying for parking.
Enoch G.
Very nice place to shop. Excellent stores, great ambiance. Beautiful and pleasant experience.
Pressy M
Love that there’s so much to observe, shop and entertainments!
errol datuin
Mixed feelings on this as gone are the small businesses and replaced with high end businesses that's already littered Kalakaua Street so why go there
Michael Smith
Last time I was here was. In 1968
A lot has changed
Scott Moore
Neat place to visit. You can see Don Hos treehouse and some history about it right in the mall. Pretty cool!!
Leonard Keao
Liliha Bakery on the 3rd floor made this place worth 5 start.
I tried to go to my "go to" slippa place but they were still closed at 11:20. Even though store hours are from 11:00a to 8:00p...
Chris N
Love this place, so many great shops, the wife & I come here to eat & shop when ever we are here in Waikiki. Must place to come too.
Lynai Church

Troy Garton
Big! Lots of shops. Can get lost. Due to Covid many stores are vacant.
Bala Srinivasan
Beautiful shopping complex in a great location. Love the banyan tree in the center.
Melody Kaolulo
The international marketplace has a lot of different stores to wander through, but its also on the pricey side for many of us locals. But, the one thing that i do enjoy the most that they have to offer is the water play area in the center of the marketplace. Its an area where you can bring your kids to have a little fun with some water playtime... &' the best part to that is, IT'S TOTALLY FREE !!!!!
NOS OMNES SOLARIS
Awesome place.. And not so crowded😄 …
Mark Pearson
Not as cheap as the swap meet at the stadium but got a super good pineapple cup banana strawberry smoothie
Yewen Tan
Some good restaurants, many shops if you're a shopper. Otherwise, come in the evenings when there're some fun activities.
I'm back after 6 years, it's still more or less the same as I remembered.
Viren Abelak
Very nice shopping plaza. Mall like. Love the Banyan tree at the center. They have a Japanese supermarket.

Alf Gulisano
Great for shops and a awesome food court
C Mayoga
Very Different from how it was before. Lots of store’s to shop at some high end and some eateries. Overall, not a bad place.

Clean, nice selection with ramen restaurant and dessert place.
Sandy B
So many great stores and eateries .
Steffen Asshauer
The nicest shoppingcenter I have ever seen in the world !!!
We have been in this center 8 years before, where it was an alternative market with lots of local small stores. It was a nice place with awesome old trees, but shops with things you don't need. Now, there is this new shopping center. It is awesome. They let the trees inside, build the center around them. It is so nice, 2 floors of good chosen shops. And on roof top, a few good restaurants, each one very cool designed. In the evenings, under the nicest tree, there is a hula show. This place has magic, combines the spirit of old market with a modern center. Great job, we could come back each day and find some new corners
Sidney Guzman
Beautiful outside mall with great food on the top floor
Rosa Farias

Paul Tidwell

We always love ❤️ to go to the Market whenever we're vacationing in Honolulu. We love all the shops and restaurants.
Chris
Great mall to shop or just walk through one evening. They have a wide range of stores available to suit anyone's taste. We enjoyed the outdoor feel of the place.
Sal Penaloza
I really thought international market place had a lot of everything. I'd stay away from brand stores as you'll be overcharged, but to each their own.
Tonya Brooks
I went to this restaurant and they serve the best breakfast for $18 a little much but very filling and it's delicious I just can't remember the name of the place but they have great food and restaurants also
Nathan Hall
OMG I love this mall. Relaxing atmosphere and a lot of my favorite stores. Definitely check out Uncle Sharks poke bowl when you get hungry
Crystal Sharp
Neat place! Something always seems to be going on. Had like a farmers market type of thing, a wedding, shops, sit down expensive restaurants and a more reasonably priced food court type of area.
corenzo wilkerson
Awesome place several good options for food and shopping
Jay
Its about what you'll find at a Fashion Square. All the big brand names and food at the top. Worth a look. The old International Market moved to Dukes Lane.
Curtis Rigor
The international market has change over the decades. What once many individual vendors selling clothes, souvenirs, etc. has developed into a beautiful three story open building. They kept the 100+ year banyon tree as the main focal point. It is amust see for visitors to Honolulu.
Brian Buliox
Great place to visit
Kim Tran
Came here in Feb 2020, fun place to walk around.
Definitely not crowded as I know it can be, but made some really cool discoveries.
Go to the top floor as well! The Japanese supermarket discounts their sushi at the end of the night. score!
Walk around too, scenery is cute and good opp for some pics :)
Yao Wong
Modern mall with lots of food options a Mitsuwa market on-site. Parking is free for the first hour (and discounted subsequently) if you spend $10 at any store.
Katrina Sawa
The marketplace was really nice although the stores weren't open the whole time they had limited hours it seemed. And I was expecting more of a craft marketplace with vendors but that's not what this is. The only restaurant we tried in here was the Shorefyre and boy was it really good.
We also rented a car from the budget/avis counter on the first floor and it was actually pretty easy to do so.
Chris
Banyan Tree 10/10
Information about the Banyan Tree’s History available on site
Courtney Hamilton
One of the most beautiful malls I have ever seen and one of the best food courts around. This mall is a treasure here, with wonderful stores, both high end and average; as well as wonderful cultural events throughout the year. Parking is also easy which is nice.
Spencer Miller
Nicest mall I have ever been to. They have everything I would need.
Barry Sullivan
Very nice shopping mall. Variety of upscale and affordable shops, built around a magnificent banyan tree.
Large multi story parking lot.
Also, this is a great launching point to explore more of Waikiki.
Teri Watanabe
Its a nice place to explore and relax. High end retail shops and restaurants too. I enjoy going to sugarfina to splurge on sweets.

You have to stop by Kona Coffee. Well worth the wait. Staff is amazing.
Ashley and Mike R.
Great feel. Cool indoor/outdoor mall with huge banyan trees and water features. Don't skip it if your looking for a break. Shorefyre is on the third level and great.
Matt Mccrary
This is a good place to to shop and has alot of different stores in there to shop from and food courts and restrooms and is located right in the heart of Waikiki, but it is not quite as good as ala Moana shopping center. Which has hundreds of stores to choose from. I hope this helps you out and have a great day.
