One of the Very big shopping complexes, we visited in USA . We visited here on 4th July 2022. So many brands shops here. When we visited , many shops offered seasonal discounts for their products. We purchased, baby and kids Clothes, shorts, shoes, raincoats, winter jackets, variety of chocolates , cosmetics products like sunscreen, moisturiser , gift items etc here. To visit all the shops here, one full day is not enough. Restaurants and fast foods outlets are also available.

I had a really good time shopping here. The staff in the shoppers welcome center were incredible. I was able to become a member (one time lifetime payment of $10) and get a parking pass, a bottle of water, and a coupon book. I like the variety of stores offered at this outlet mall and I appreciated the many different seating options for taking stock of my receipts and purchases or waiting for my family who were still shopping. This area reminded me of Disney Springs down in FL. So along that vein, I'm not sure if this is something already offered at Tanger as this was just my first visit, but live music would be really great here. Maybe some unique food experiences like churros or a crepe cart?

A really nice outlet mall! This one seems to be thriving while others seem to be going out of business. Good selection of stores here, Tanger seems to know the right recipe. Clean and modern, my wife will definitely make me pull over next time we're in the area.

Very clean and organized mall, very helpful staff in the main office. Great member perks, the coupon books are a huge plus. However the mall is still quite expensive for being an “outlet” mall. Heated sidewalks, so it is a better place to take your dog for a walk when it gets a bit colder.

It's a nice place The outdoor concept works well in the summer we live in Michigan so in the winter it can get a little cold and in our area we get 77 in of snow on the average every year. I think they need to figure out a way to slow down the wind that runs through the open air hallways of the mall we were there the second week of December 2022 wind was Blowing gust of 25 mph it was 30° outside I like the cold but The wind chill made it very cold That's like 16° F feel on your body. I guess it's a good concept if you want people to go into stores that they weren't planning on. Because they want to get warm. My great grandmother would say It's winter zip up your coat Put your hat on grab your gloves and where in the h*ll are your boots 🍦

It's difficult to rate an entire shopping mall, but Tanger outlets is really pretty great. In the winter, they have a nice fire going, bathrooms are always warm and clean. It can be pretty windy in the corridors between the stores, so don't forget your jacket.

I love Tanger Outlets and I have been to them many times in other states. This one is a recently new one and it's very well done and looks better than others I've visited. It's in a good location too since it's south of Grand Rapids so it's convenient for people there but also not far for people living in Kalamazoo and Battle Creek areas.

Reliable place to go clothes shopping. Good deals if you come at the right time. The fact that this is an outdoor mall, makes the shopping experience better. The area is usually busy, but there is almost always parking spots available; close or at a walk.

Perused this outlet mall today looking for a coat for the cold Michigan winter. Wasn’t able to locate one that I loved (or if I did love it, they didn’t have it in a large at Columbia or Mountain Warehouse.) We did enjoy an amazing ice cream cone at Lindt Chocolate Shop.

My husband and I love coming to Tanger outlets, they have lots of great deals and if you pay just $10 for a lifetime VIP membership, you get access to their cozy lounge. Here you have water and coffee and everything to relax and reset. Their VIP membership gets you their coupon booklet for free which usually costs $5. You also get their VIP Membership parking access. Everytime you shop, and add your receipt to your account either through the app or their customer service desk, you accumulate points. These points get you great gifts and bigger deals for more fun shopping. The customer service desk is awesome. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. If you have too many bags, you can have them hold these for you on the side. During COVID-19, we saw all of their stores apply great social distancing measures. Each store had their limit set to customer count depending on it size. The mall was extremely busy for the labour day weekend, but everyone was wearing a mask and this was a pleasant experience. They have restrooms and vending machines conveniently available throughout the mall. Wifi is free! There are a variety of food options like Auntie Anne’s, Subway and Rise Pies. They have a children’s playground as well which is very cute. A bigger Coach outlet is opening in the fall. They have a temporary space at the moment at Space 965. Kay Jewelers has ear piercing available. From the pictures you can see long lines outside each store if their maximum capacity was met ensuring proper social distancing.

This is our absolute Favorite place! Me and my wife love it. We live in Kalamazoo and whenever we get a chance we don't mind driving down to Tanger for some shopping. 😁 Amazing Prices and deals all the time on upscale brands. Extremely beautiful outlet mall which is very well maintained through out the year.

Good selection of stores. Photos are of the Fossil store that had some good deals typically 50% off or more on the tagged price of the items. Other stores have good deals as well some better prices than others. Nice clean stores and restrooms.

Had a blast visiting this weekend! They have a play area for small children. Family friendly food options as well, like fresh pizza. I can see myself visiting again and strolling through the plaza. It has an indoor mall feel to it.

I gave the Tanger Outlet mall 3 stars because I think overall this concept is a scam. These modern outlets are simply more retail locations with very small savings vs the regular retail locations. Do not expect huge savings like you got back in the early days of outlet locations. I do admit we have hit some stores during a sale and have seen some great deals during those special events, however on a regular basis you might get lucky to see 10-30% off regular retail prices. I know that is nothing to sneeze at, especially at some of these stores. But in the past it was not uncommon to see 50-60% or more off at the outlet store. This location is set up nicely, and they have some nice special features like food trucks and a farmers market. There is a nice variety of stores, and it seems to continue to grow. Not a bad shopping experience, it should just be called an outdoor mall instead of outlet stores imho.

We love the Puma Outlet, Nike and of course I love Old Navy. Great options for several different tastes and less than normal store prices. Catching sales is the key. Clean and the walkable layout is friendly.

It's a mall, but outside! Most of these stores would be cooler if they were downtown GR. Bring back the downtown urban centers of the 50's and 60's.

I went there on Black Friday. Seemed like they had enough parking for an extremely large number of cars. Has a lot of stores as which had decent prices. This place don't have Puma though which was also one of the store I was looking for. All in all it was a good shopping experience.

I liked it. If you shop here alot I'd recommend the VIP section. The levels are costly but the rewards are good as well. In the winter the VIP section has hot chocolate. Seems more lively in the summer than in the winter.

A nice outlet center with interior walkways for people and parking on the perimeter. Some stores are definitely "factory" stores versus more traditional outlet stores which means products are made specifically for this market. Good diversity of stores, lighting, and bathrooms. Only four stars due to lack of food options.

It's been been 2 years since I visited this Outlet Mall in GR. Extremely clean with all of the COVID safety protocols in place. I definitely felt safe shopping. A few storefronts were vacant. The stores I visited the staff was friendly and eager to help. Definitely a place to visit if you are in the area.

This is a nicely designed Outlet Mall It seems like city blocks with a Main Street. Much better compared to outlets that are stretched out and sectioned off. There's a good variety of designer chain stores. Some are better than others on pricing and sales. Easily accessible from any direction and next to a major North South freeway.

Very big outlet with almost all big brands. Many factory stores are available with good discounts and variety of clothing and accessories. You can definitely find a hidden gem in discounts and items on shelf. I would recommend visiting this place if you are looking for something fresh in style and want to try many brands.

Oh Tanger Outlets, what would Grand Rapids do without you? This is a good place for summer shopping (and winter if you don't mind the cold). We always hit up the Levi's Store and H&M. Watch out though - not all the shops are "outlets." Felt like the Sperry's shop somehow had higher prices than I have ever seen on a boat shoe! Oh, and this place is fun for families too. Lots of room for strollers, some food options, etc.

Yo, during the summer, this place rocks to just even go for a stroll. Lots of egress as it is outdoors, but plenty of elbow room and sun even when busy. But I’ll give you my quick biased opinion. Adidas. Go there and buy everything. I know you’ll be tempted to head over to Nike, but don’t. I’m not knocking on Nike, or anything affiliated to that store location but to be blunt, it’s pricey with limited/no deals or promotions. On the other hand, Adidas. Adidas is responsibly priced, store is clean, with great in store promotions, not to mention their name is included on stores accepting additional coupons for current mail-to-home promotions. That’s right. Adidas. Nike, on the other hand….(chirp, chirp, chirp). Columbia and Merrell and others are cool, too. Enjoy your shopping, or walk, or whatever! Ciao!

Little bit of everything for everyone! Clean outlet store with vending and restrooms convenient. Guest services are wonderful to give patrons a map, coupon book, and answer any questions you may have. It would be nice if employees didn't "park up close", as other malls save these spots for patrons. The picture of vacant parked cars is before opening hours during the week, and as I continue to wait, more workers are doing the same. 84th Street Pub and Grille (across the street) is a wonderful place to eat!

The visit was good the only thing that was odd was that some of the stores the sales people didn't even talk to you, the stores that did that was the loft and Vera Bradley store. Now the store that I got the best service in was the Hanes store and Maurice's and Yankee Candles.

Recently my husband was working in Michigan on a long term project so I would often make the trip from our home in Wisconsin to visit. He worked long hours so I would regularly plan my days with a list lists of thing to do and places to visit. I found this outlet mall online and put it on my list. Now, I like to consider myself an avid antique and designer shopper who has a passion for interior design (with my antiques of course) 😁 My husband refers to me as something else😜 I've visited many many outlet malls but this one was...just wow! I was a bit intimidated when arriving with the parking lot being just never ending and I wasn't sure where I wanted to begin or take this place on. You can't tell until you walk into the outlet mall area how fabulously this is designed. Seriously it is probably my favorite outlet mall to visit. With the set up its like a little village of shopping not having to walk a mile to the next shop or drive from one to another. It gives an amazing appearance As far layout, accessibility and most of all just wonderfully Clean and pleasant shopping area. It really was a fabulous shopping experience which was so relaxing and pleasant. Everyone I came in contact with was so knowledgeable and very helpful. The selection of stores is perfect! I can't imagine anyone leaving with nothing. Personally I had to go back to my vehicle to unload a number of times but don't tell my husband!!! 🤑 Definitely one of my favorite shopping experiences at a outlet mall in my years of traveling around. Who would have thought I'd find this hidden gem in Michigan. Unfortunately my husband no longer is in Michigan but I can't wait to come back.

This place just seems like a waste of space. The prices aren't that good for being an outlet mall. Don't go in the winter, its very hard to get around when there is snow on the ground.

Love this place! Some many stores to choose from. Like Old Navy, Skechers, Made In Michigan, to name a few. Restrooms are all round and I was able to find plenty of handicap parking over by the Old Navy store. I do agree that all stores should have handicap doors but this place is always full of polite people around to help with doors. Love the openness of this place, I will be back. Highly recommend this place.

This is definitely one of the nicest outlet malls in Michigan. The majority of our outlet malls are spread out over a large outdoor area and you have to move your car or walk a long way to get to everything. This mall is different - it’s set up like a normal mall with all the stores in a walkable setup with one parking location. It’s well designed, looks new, and the stores are big. I enjoyed my visit and will be back!

Great selection of high/medium range stores. Very clean & safe environment. Even the parking lot is kept clean. The only thing I would recommend is more parking. It can be hard to find parking on some weekends & Holidays. I also wish there was more ways to get in and out of the outlet center. It gets very backed up during Christmas shopping season. Overall great place to shop!

We arrived around 5:30pm on Saturday. The site was clean and relatively nice but the problem I had was that all the stores do not close at the same time. We found ourselves walking in different directions to catch different stores before they closed. I assumed when it said that Tanger Outlet closes at 9:00 p.m. that all the stores close at 9:00 and that's not the case. Nike closed at 7:00 while some things were closed before that. I don't know if there's a listing of hours on their website or not for the various stores, it was just inconvenient.

I knew it was going to be crowded and crazy because it is close to school. The stores that we visited did not honer the 20 off all purchased. So if you could separate the stores from the ones that do it would help out shopping as to which stores we would choose. Old Navy over charged us on alot of things to where my daughter has to spend her time going over the receipt to get credit for me. Around 💯 dollars. When we tried to get food most vendors ran out of supplies. They should know that the month of August is their busiest time and plan accordingly. And around Christmas as well. This was the very first time I visited this mall. Not very shopper friendly from what I told you.

The mall stores and common areas are always clean and neat. It was busy there today. A few stores had lines waiting to get it to shop but most didn't. It was a short trip as I had specific items at specific stores I was looking for. If you have never been to this Outlet Mall, there is something for everyone. Many big brand name and national chain shops like Calvin Klein, Gap, Vera Bradley, Childrens Place, Old Navy, Torrid too many to mention. Some of the sales are great, some are just the basic prices and sales like standard mall/store prices and sales. There are several restrooms located all around the mall unlike other outlet mall where you have to walk half way around the mall to find a restroom. There is plenty of parking all the way around the mall but when it is really busy around the holidays you still may have to drive around a bit to find a spot. The mall is right off the 131 expressway, making it easy to find.

Was fun looking at the different stores. Make sure to stop at the Tanger outlet main office, I'm not sure what it's called but that's where you get the extra coupons to use at the stores.

Not all of us can afford high end stores so I was happy to see stores like Old Navy there (this is not to speak negatively of old navy, I was happy to see the store there for I am a frugal spender and can not afford stores like Kate Spade.)

We have been to Tanger outlet in previous years but today was first time this year, very different for 2 reasons. #1 reason is food trucks everywhere which is great if you've ever been there before you know they don't have any food unless u want a hot dog. #2 lines to get into the busiest stores or smaller stores and most lines are long. Nice clean environment. Nice in the sunshine. Lots of stores. No great deals. The stores I went into were either priced at retail or priced up to mark down. Example: converse high tops are $55 on their website, but listed in store as $60 retail but now only $55. Journey's prices them $55 here and in other stores. Only a couple food options. Overall average. It's nice that its outside and has a good selection for clothes, shoes and accessories but it's no better than any average mall.

Have been going here since it opened. Went this week Monday (got there around 7:30) and over half the stores were closed by 7pm. So FYI if you want to shop go early in the day. I even checked the hours online (posted as 10am-9pm) and only thing stated is some store hours may very. Wasted trip only could go to one store we wanted to shop at! Would be nice if all store hours were posted online.

Shopper Services = AWESOME! They really are so friendly and helpful. They told us about signing up for a $10 lifetime membership which includes access to the lounge, as well as coupons to the stores, that are normally $5 a book to non-members. Members also receive parking passes for designated areas. The lounge is nice and offers a place to sit and relax, water, coffee, phone charging options. It's really great. The stores have a lot to offer too. Every store has super friendly staff, and are very clean and organized. They tell you all about the sales that they're hosting, and are happy to help you if you get turned around or lost. There are places to sit out the rain (if it rains), but also a place for a controlled fire and sitting area in the middle. Great place to spend a day!

I do enjoy Tanger outlet mall. The place is always kept up very nicely, good selection of stores, multiple bathrooms spread out through the entire property, cute seasonal decorations and fun music. I joined the club for $10 and I’m not regretting it one bit. I got a free jewelry case as a welcome gift and then got to go in the lounge and get free coffee fresh fruit and a variety of granola bars. There was also comfy seating in a place for my kids just to take a break before we continued.

I really like the Loft and Carter's outlets here. Lots of good deals. There is something for everyone. It's a pleasant place to take a stroll with spots to sit and fires to warm by in the winter. They also have a wonderful outdoor playground that is like a surprise park. Great way to spend a morning with my toddler.

I'm thrilled to have a Tanger Outlet Mall in Grand Rapids. I went to the Fossil and Kate Spade stores last weekend, and they both were offering some fantastic discounts. The sales staff was great at both stores. I ended up making my purchases at the Kate Spade store. I happened upon a sale so good I bought a purse for myself AND a birthday gift for my daughter-for less than I would have spent had I bought them online. Since I just decided that afternoon to take a drive to Tanger, stumbling across a 60% + 20% off sale made my day! In addition, they (Tanger) were offering a promotion where if you spend $50, you can get a $10 off card - I definitely took advantage of that opportunity. The gal at the customer service office was very pleasant, and that $10 card will come in handy on my next visit. Someone mentioned the lack of food options - I have to agree. While Subway, pretzels, a hot dog stand and ice cream vendor are nice, a casual sit down restaurant would be a welcome addition. It was a very warm day when I went, and being able to take a break and get out of the sun would have been great. While it isn't enough to keep me away, it would certainly add to my shopping experience. Thanks for bringing Tanger Outlet to Grand Rapids!

There are some great shops at this Outlet mall. I especially like White House Black Market. The prices are great and the selection is wonderful. Some of the stores aren't really so discounted like Michael Kors but a lot of the stores have really great deals. The one thing I wish they had more of though AR places to eat. There is a Subway, a pretzel place, and a place to get a piece of pizza but that is about it. The staff at the front desk is very friendly. The members-only room is worth the membership! Coffee, hot tea, water, snacks, great place to rest and regroup when you're shopping.

Employees are friendly, but not pushy. I am really liking the Kitchen Collection and the Calendar store. I'm still exploring to find all of the clearance areas. I have to admit, I have enjoyed shopping there more than I thought I would. My only complaint is that many of the stores are high end and so the majority of the items sold are overpriced for my taste; but that makes the hunt for bargains just a little more exciting. Every time I go home, I can't wait to get back there to see what bargains I can find.

I can’t really say there are any negatives to the mall itself. I just (as a guy) wish there was more than mostly clothing stores. The food selection was also very small with just a subway to start but there is now a auntie Anne’s. The hot dog cart man, when he’s there, makes the very best Chicago style hot dogs! Oh also, outlet usually means to me “discount”. But a lot of the stores have no discounts at all.

I have been to the outlet mall to many times to count. It's conveniently located off the expressway and has tons of parking. I like the layout of the mall, the variety of shops, the friendly staff, and especially enjoy the VIP lounge. It's nice to take a breather and have a cold water before hitting the pavement again for more buys. I also liked that when I signed up I received a coupon book and a bag. When I reached another level in purchases I received another gift of either a bag or backpack. All bags have been well made and I alternate using them. The backpack I gave to my son's girlfriend and she uses it for her laptop. My favorite store is Kirkland's. The staff is great and they always have something I need to buy. lol My only wish is that they had more places to eat. Anna's pretzels are a good snack, but it would be nice to have a sit down restaurant that offered something more than pizza. Anyway, I know I'll be back. It's clean, fun, and close!

Lovely outlet mall! Very new, clean, and pretty! It feels like a fancy west coast outdoor mall, but with outlets and never felt overcrowded (big bonuses!). We will happily make the 2.5 hour drive again just to shop here. We highly recommend the VIP pass. Best bargain in town!

I think everyone within a 100 mile radius was excited to learn we would be getting an outlet mall in the area. I went with friends not long after the first opened and have been back a few times since. There is a massive parking area, so no matter how busy they are, there always seems to be room to park. You may have to walk a good way, but you're going to be doing that when you walk around the stores anyway. There are quite a few stores to choose from selling a vast variety of products ranging from shoes, clothing, leather goods, household items, and jewelry, and many more. Like most outlet stores these days, the regular prices on many items really isn't that great. In some cases, I can't really tell any difference in the prices here or at the regular stores. I have found some amazing bargains though. I got dyed leather jackets for my daughters for an amazing $40 each. I got a really nice extreme cold weather coat (but very stylish looking too) for one daughter, on one of the "quick sales" for $45. I love those unadvertised sales where the stores put special pricing on certain items for a few hours only. If you happen to be around during that time and it's something you need, you can get some good deals. The shop owners for the most part have always been pretty nice too, which is unfortunately pretty rare. I can't say I've had a bad experience at any of the stores. I haven't been pleased with prices in some, but that's OK too. I just move on to the places that have the prices I'm looking for. Easy to get to location as well. If you're looking for some pretty good deals and have the time to walk the stores and find them, then you can most certainly discover some good ones here.

Great outlet mall, well designed, spacious, and easy to access. We visited the mall right around Thanksgiving, the Christmas decorations were great. It was cold and rainy, but there are some nice covered areas and an awesome outdoor fireplace. Had it not been raining I would have added dinner photos. The parking is plentiful and (if you know the layout) can get you really close to the stores of your choice. We are planning another trip there soon to walk around when all Christmas lights are on. Maybe even to grab pizza at the new pizza place.

One of the best things to happen to West Michigan. Use to have to drive almost 2 hours to a good outlet center now their is one just an hour from Battle Creek. So worth the drive especially when you live in a town that does not have good shopping. Tommy Hilfiger store is a major plus.

Wonderful shopping, so many stores in one place. The Lindt store is a must visit for chocolate lovers. I was also particularly excited by the Hanes outlet and the Levi outlet stores. The sales in the Hanes store were great. When I shop for clothes its much easier when its physical. I'm never confident buying clothes online, having all these stores in one place was better than trying (and failing) to update my wardrobe online.

Absolutely the best mall in Michigan! I love going to the mall, but Tanger Outlets reigns supreme! What truly sets this mall apart is the fact that it's outdoors! Each store front is outside and touring Tanger is like visiting a small village! This mall is one of the few I've never got lost at (surprisingly with how big it is!), especially with it's easy-to-navigate streets, paper maps, and touch-screen directories. Their store selection has all your mall favorites - American Eagle, Calvin Klein, Merrill, and Under Armour, just to name a few. And a few new ones that you're not likely to forget like the Lindt Chocolate Shop! Just don't forget to grab lunch at Subway, Starbucks, or the pizza place Rise Pies. Their streets are packed with seating areas, tables, and even outdoor plugins for your laptop or smartphone. And what more is left to say? Today we shop til we drop!

I like the look and feel of the new Tanger outlet in Byron Center. Nice to have it close to home. Stopped in on Friday, Sept. 4 and enjoyed a relaxing shopping afternoon. Like the music choices that play while you are outside. There were some good deals at the Lucky Brand outlet. However, some stores seem to have the same prices as regular retail stores without sales or promotions. One thing that would be more helpful (that I know they are working on) is more food choices. You can get something for lunch, however, at Subway or the hot dog vendor, and something to snack on at Auntie Anne's or the Ben & Jerry's vendor. I'm sure they wanted to open it up for shopping rather than wait until the restaurants/Starbucks was open. Will be a great place to do some Christmas shopping without having to drive far.

I am very happy to have an outlet mall so close to home, and have stopped here several times. Last week I came with my daughter to do some clothes shopping and felt we got some good values. The mall is well kept, and we had no problem with parking. It does need some additional food options where you can sit down to eat. Shopping is tiring and a restaurant of some sort would be helpful.

Nice store selection at this outlet, and cute setup. It is all outdoor, and it is not really possible to park near the store you are going to if you are there on a specific mission. There are hardly any food options, making it undesirable to spend a longer amount of time in the mall. Definitely not my favorite shopping center!

big big big and meant to take all your money. If you're going on a shopping spree be sure you come here otherwise you've missed the point of enjoyable shopping. Large parking lots and friendly service staff at the check-in building. Be sure you come here register and get your coupon book in order to save more dollars at each stop on your shopping spree. My favorite was buying the gift card and getting a free bag. Not just the shopping bag but a real nice backpack with no lettering and meant to be used everyday. Easy access from 131. The layout of the mall is great. The digital maps are fun (and useful!) Super kid friendly with plenty of bathrooms, vending and a playground. If you can, avoid "peak" times, the lines can get pretty long during sale weekends. Visit the shopper's center to pick up a coupon book and rent a stroller if you forgot to bring yours!

Wide variety of stores and for the most part there are a lot of great deals going on. Unfortunately some of the stores that I liked the most are closed now. The pretzels are a great snacks for both children and adults. My only issue is that there should be more places to be able to sit down and to rest from the sun. The last thing is that I'm not sure I have ever seen the help desk or someone that's ready to help people that come here for the first time.

Great place to shop and get amazing deals on clothes! Parking lot is large and expands around the whole outlet, but at very busy times on holidays it can be tricky to find a spot. The only downside to this place is the lack of dining options. It's either pizza, subs, pretzels, or hot dog vendors. Hope more dining options come soon in the future. I also enjoy the playground area for kids because it gives the little munchkins a place to play and exhaust their energy as well. The shopper service is also a great place to start if you are new to the outlets. They can give you a map and a booklet full of more savings too.

Always love Tanger! Went there yesterday and decided to sign up to be a Tanger member. (Wish I would of done that my first visit!) The lady at the front desk was so great and accommodating. I can get better deals at the mall or online, so that was alittle disappointing and the fact that there were NO restaurants there to speak of, or close by to make a day of it after driving all that way, bummer, someone might want to think about that for future Holiday shopping. But it was very pretty shopping area!!! Not sure I will go out of my way to drive way out there to do a lot of shopping unless I have better coupons of better sales- just being honest!!!

And seem to be filled with the most current and relevant merchandise. They do a great job at appealing to many age groups! (Hats off to Tanger!) I have ZERO complaints! I do have 2 suggestions to offer, which are: 1) Add to the variety, or rather the diversity of stores. For example, more home-goods, or toy stores, etc. 2) Add more "eateries"! (Possibly a family friendly traditional style?) All in all, I'd say Tanger Outlets is a most excellent place & a most excellent experience! Cheers to Tanger Outlets 😊

Amazing place. You must become a member. It's a 1 time fee of $10 and u got a free coupon book EVERY TIME you go and you get access to the VIP lounge. There you can sit, relax, watch TV and they supply you with free drinks like water, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. And every month you get 1 free snack. With all of that you also get VIP parking which allows you to park closer to the stores instead of parking in the back and spending 10 minutes trying to find your car.

I made my first visit to the outlet yesterday with my two grown daughters and husband. We appreciated the layout, the variety of shops, the number of restrooms throughout (all clean!), the fireplace, and the seating available. We only covered 2/3 of the mall in the time we had and I'm eager to go back again with more time to shop. The Service center staff were very pleasant and helpful.

I just wear a shirt here that say "Take my money!" They give you some really great coupons, though. They have like every store here that you would need. I like that it's outdoors, except for some reason, every time I go here it's raining, but that's just my luck. My first experience was amazing. I never shop at outlet malls because I've never thought their pricing reflected, what I think are outlet prices. But Tanger had amazing sales all Labor Day weekend and I took full advantage. Thus, on top of being very clean and loving the outdoor mall atmosphere and the music... I'm in love and will definitely go back. I stayed away for the first full year to avoid big crowds and all the hype that had built up and while it was pretty busy, I didn't feel overwhelmed by it.

Great place to find whatever it is u are looking for. They have a store for everything from bedding, shoes and perfume to baby and kids clothes, teenage fashion and clothes for bigger women. Definitely a one-stop shopping experience. Just remember that even though the walkways are covered with a roof, u still have to walk outside to get from store to store.

I organized a shopping trip for my sorority alumnae chapter. I filled out the form online with the details about my group--that was it--so easy! We had lunch across the street at the 84th Street Pub (reasonable prices, good food, great service for our large group). I stopped by the Tanger Guest Services desk before lunch and they had special bags, maps, and coupon books all prepared. It was a big hit! Although we all live locally, we don't always make it to the outlet mall. We had a great afternoon shopping together, and the gift bags provided a nice touch to make everyone feel special. Everyone found a bargain that day! I'm still getting compliments for organizing a fun event!

You'll always find a good deal at Tanger Outlets. Stopped in randomly today only to find that Adidas is having a killer 50% off sale RIGHT NOW!! Got two pairs of shoes for under $60 total. I love that I can shop my favorite stores and spend a fraction of the price. Parking isn't always the greatest, so you'll want to be patient, but they do have charging stations for electric vehicles which you won't find just anywhere. Overall a great shopping center without having to travel far.

I don't want to leave my shopping area to grab food. Wish they had planned better. They lose my shopping business because if this because once I leave for food, I don't return for more shopping.

I love that I can take a break inside for awhile and have a complimentary drink or snack. I always feel I am treated well and like a valued customer when I go to Shopper Services. The entire mall is always clean, nice looking, and pleasant.

You can get a nice coupon book at customer service with your AAA card for additional discounts... though the stores have great sales anyway.

It is so nice to have an outlet mall close by. The weather was perfect and an added bonus was watching the artists create their chalk art. We had an enjoyable time and bought shoes, some clothes, and some decorative goodies at Kirklands. I wish there was a food court. We left the mall for lunch. We could have spent more time there if we could have had a nice lunch. Unless you want a hot dog (no place to sit) or subway, there is nothing to eat. Once you lose your parking spot to drive to lunch, there is no sense going back.

I had an appointment right across the street from Tanger outlet so I couldn’t stay as long as I would have liked. I am an AARP member so I stopped in to the shopping services area to pick up a yearly coupon book. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and friendly. I needed a pair of good sunglasses, so my only stop was the sunglasses hut. I bought a good polarized pair of sunglasses for a reasonable price and was able to use a coupon. I was quite happy with my purchase. All the shop owners were helpful and friendly. I browsed a few more stores, but unfortunately had to leave to get to my appointment. I would shop here on a regular basis- only problem for me is it’s 25 mins from my house. I wish it was closer. I like walking outdoors rather than in a mall though - it’s refreshing. Thank you.

Cool places if you have money to burn, want to walk around in the out doors but still want to do some shopping, or if you have a thing for hipster moms. This place is huge, has a ton of stores, lots of bathrooms, benches with charging stations, etc. Plus the complex was planned out in a fun way, it's like a modern game of thrones shopping mall. Giant fire pits and stuff next to the shoe store in the center of the labyrinth. Neat.

I have been to the outlet mall twice and think it is very nice with a variety of stores. I'm waiting for there to be more cafes or places to eat. The 2 small places that are currently there are not large enough to handle all the people and it's not convenient to have to drive across the street to eat at a restaurant. I understand Starbucks is coming soon but that does not appeal to me at all as I don't drink coffee. It will be nice to see something else come in the future.

It was a gorgeous sunny Sunday... 60 degrees in Michigan! We arrived and the parking lot was pretty full. I'm thinking "oh, no... this is going to be a zoo". As we started shopping, the stores were busy but not crowded or uncomfortable. Check out lines were quick and every store we went to the sales people were helpful and friendly. The merchandise was so organized. And the deals were AMAZING! Yay for early Christmas shopping!!!

The only thing i would suggest is more restaurants in the lot, without having to drive. Many of the people simply complaining about prices fail to remember that these are brand name stores, so you cant expect to pay 10$ for three dress shirts. And all details of the coupons are on the back SO YOU KNOW BEFORE YOU GO TO THE STORE HOW IT WORKS AND WHERE IT WORKS. Overall, a nice place. Auntie annes employees can be a bit snippy but otherwise every store i go into is nice.

Great landscaping and clear visual signs made it easy to navigate to stores without getting lost. Snow was cleared well on the sidewalks. Great variety of popular retailers for nearly everyone. From my own experience I rated 4 Stars as I did not see items priced at assumed outlet prices. For example an Under Armour hoodie I purchased here is the same price at a Kohl's store on the other side of Grand Rapids. Many stores offer a Military discount if you ask.

This is the first outlet mall in west Michigan and just opened back in July. Overall I was very impressed with. It is new, designed well, clean, good mix of stores, and has covered areas to escape some of Michigan's weather while still being outside. The parking lot seems a little small but that could also be because when we visited it was still new and a holiday weekend. Obviously because it is tucked away with US-131 to one side you cant really give it more than one way in and out. It did take a little while to find a spot but when we did...we were good. The bathrooms seem to be a miss though. I cannot speak for the women's but the men's have 1 urinal and 1 stall. That's it! So sometimes you have to wait for others to finish. It does appear that they are scatted all over the property but the two that I visited were designed and set up the same. Kind of strange if you ask me. Seems like you would want to make it quicker and easier for people to use the restroom. Overall it is a nice place to shop and offers some deals that you may not find at the other area malls. Easy access on and off US-131 and close to M-6 so that no matter when in the area you are...you can get there pretty quickly. I also think that once the newness wears off it will be just like any other outlet mall...parking lot traffic wise.

Very clean and brand new outside mall. Had most all the major chain brands along with some cool specialty stores. Nice shaded outdoor kids play area with rubber surface to let the kids bounce on. Not a ton of dining options but Rise Pie's was good and very reasonable cost.

The ladies who work the desk at shopper services are always really helpful updating my receipts and getting my rewards to me right away. I love that we have a VIP lounge here in Grand Rapids, it is always nice to go in and have a snack or drink while I am getting all my receipts together or to just take a break between shopping at the stores!

Remember, "Outlet Mall" does NOT mean every store is an outlet. There are some full-priced stores. Still a good selection. Good prices and a nice place to go in nice weather. Not too busy when the weather is crappy, so you can shop with ease if you are ok with the weather.

I have had great experiences in every store I have gone into. With overall knowledge, helpful, social staff. Yesterday was the first time I ever went into guest services, and I was highly disappointed. My husband filled out the review kiosk and we had an apology from Randy for the incident in less then 20 minutes on a Saturday evening. That is incredibly stellar customer service. Way to go Randy, and all the staff in the stores!

I like how the mall is laid out. I like that people don't have to go all the way around the mall to get to another store. Something I didn't care for though is when getting my points, the first I received was a tote bag, really. Do you know how many people use these less and less. Mine is going to Goodwill. I would rather have saved them up for a gift certificate to a store instead. Disappointed in that aspect. I like the new stores that have been added.

This Tanger outlet is a great addition to the Grand Rapids area shopping options. Very clean and I like the layout and store options. My only issue is the outlets in Michigan do not offer the true outlet pricing and options that you experience down in the southern states. I love to plan my vacations in areas where there is shopping. Many of the stores have the same pricing that you would pay in the mall. Not all stores. ... some have great deals. But if you are going to put a store in the outlet mall than offer good deals. Other than that I do shop here often and really do prefer it over going to one of the regular malls.

I really enjoy the Tanger Outlets in Grand Rapids, Michigan! It feels like you're walking around in a beautiful park and have a choice of every designer that you love! The only complaint that I have is that in their Lounge they used to offer a snack to refresh to go back out and shop. Now they only offer coffee and water which is still a nice treat. I had my granddaughter with me and I promised her a fruit snack from the lounge (because l forgot to bring some with me) and when we got there they said that they don't give them out anymore. :-( a little disappointing. I will bring my own next time for sure! Have fun shopping!

My kids always love the play area. It is nice for parents as well because it is fenced in with gated access. Their outdoor space, in general, is very nice and well kept. The only downside.....they need more options for getting food.

This was my 4th time visiting the outlet. They need food places. Old Navy seems to have good prices but most of the stores are charging (what seems to be) full prices. I will probably go to the mall when the weather is bad. Why pay full price in the cold and snow when you can be warm and dry in the mall? On a good note, the music being played is awesome! The decor is top notch! I just wish the stores would offer better discounts!

But I love to shop and I will continue to come here, I wish that the Nike store had more of a selection and more clearance racks like the Tanger in Howell. Tanger is great. A variety of great stores and looks beautiful. Nice and wide open. Only thing to look out for is it is an outdoor mall with no roof along the walkpath so rain and snow will be along the path but all stores do have a roof

I love the new outlet and how it is laid out in terms of the proximity. You don't have to walk so far in between buildings so it has more of a "cozy" feel to it! I also love the variety of stores offered!! However; the prices in the stores do seem to mirror more of the retail mall pricing so it would be nice to see more outlet pricing. And the most important thing....a food court is definitely a necessity!!! It was poor planning on the developers part when the food options were kept to a complete minimum and it's inept marketing when you force your customer's offsite to travel to find food and then return to continue to shop. When that is the case, they are more likely to simply shop at the mall.

Not many good name brands, the styles are just OK, maybe too old. I don't want to come back after the first visit. But there is a new coach bag store opened recently. That is a bonus. Otherwise, I think woodland mall is good enough for people living in the city.

Sign up for the tanger club and use the app for the coupons. Saves the lines at the welcome center. Good selection of stores. *Note* some stores are retail and not factory or clearance outlets. They will not offer major discounts vs. their retail equivalents. Great layout and bathrooms are always very clean.

Beautiful outdoor "mall". It has really pretty walk ways and some pleasant landscape added so you can enjoy the day in between going in and out of stores shopping. It is sort of maze like and easy to get turned around but there are large map/signs in the walk ways. Cell phone reception for a few carriers is spotty though. There is a great variety of shops, even a couple to keep the husband entertained. It's a really fun place for a day shopping trip when you dont want to be stuck indoors

I came with my daughter and granddaughters to school shop on 9-7-15. We were early so we had great parking and all the stores seemed to be well stocked, but I didn't think the prices were that much different than going to the mall. Don't know if I would go out there in the winter time due to the weather but it's okay for spring and summer.

Nice but there's not enough stores for the mid teen to college age group. It's more targeted at middle age mothers and older people who can afford mid lower end designer stuff like Vera Bradley. Still fun to look though!

First time to this outlet mall. Wanted to buy shoes. Lots of shoe stores, found great parking place. Good site map right when we walked in. Some lines due to Covid restrictions, but waits were relatively short. Husband found his pair at skechers, I found 4 pair at Famous BOGO1/2 off. 4 pairs of sandals for about $100. Was very pleased. Can't imagine how it would be if it was really crowded as it might have been without covid. This was a good trip. Suspect there were a lot of good sales about now.

Overall my experience was good. The only suggestions I would have is there are no bed and bath stores. I had a woman with me that needed a bed skirt and valances but there were no stores that specialized in that area. Also I was pushing an elderly woman in and out of the stores and noticed many stores do not have the entrances that have the handicap entrances devices. That would sure be helpful.

Overall it was a good experience, fun because it was a beautiful day and I was with a dear friend. Definitely need more restaurants or places to get a drink other than a vending machine. If you were looking for clothes, you were not disappointed as there are many clothing stores. I'd like to see more variety of stores and better prices....I didn't go in a lot of the stores because I knew it would be too expensive. Coming from Muskegon, I probably won't visit the store often.

You have to shop often because inventory changes quickly, but you can get name brand products for department store prices. Tanger has a wide variety of high end stores. Around the holidays, they have coupons which you can use at most stores. My daughter got a $500 dollar purse for $80 yesterday. The only downside is that you need to go outdoors between stores.

Well if Crossroads mall goes bell up In just 27 minutes I can still get my shopping fix on. Very nice and oh so clean and upscale shopping experience. Only thing I would say is that all the stores need a auto button for the doors. Shoping with strollers is work and it would help alot.

Mall is set up great, hard to miss any stores. Open spaces, covered spaces, clean bathrooms everywhere. Only thing it needs is more food options. Unless you want Subway or a pretzel (both can have massive lines), you can't spend all day here without leaving to eat.

I always enjoy Tanger Outlets and glad this one is easily accessible for me. Hoping more stores fill the empty spaces soon. More bathroom locations would be helpful unless I am just not finding them. The biggest drawback is the lack of dining options. It would be great for a sit down restaurant to be near by without having to drive or cross the busy street or more quicker dining options. The location is always clean and well kept whether summer or winter. I have encountered many friendly people throughout the outlets.

Tanger Outlet Mall is the perfect size for a cold weather location. The selection of stores and sales were exceptional. If your a fan of the cold then this is a year round place to go shopping or just hang out . But if not, this isn't the place for you to be in the winter season. Walk paths are outside. 360 degree parking lot. All your favorite stores and brands. Deals and sale are year round. Handicap friendly and accessable ! Select stores can be somewhat of a dissapointment . I.e. I avoid shoe shopping here because I've never been happy with the selection nor have I found what I'm looking for. There are places to stop and grab a bite to eat. Cool fact (I don't know how long this will go on for) the Tommy Hilfiger store gives you a coupon after your purchase for Calvin Klein , which happens to be right across the way. Happy shopping.

But, if your lucky you'll go when the stores have sales. They have a good variety of stores and its a beautiful environment. Another thing they need to add is more food places. The only places to eat is subway and Auntie Anne's Pretzel and occasionally the hotdog stand will be out. But, overall it's a great place and we've enjoyed it greatly.

The store selection is very good, but the prices in most of the stores I have been to, just don't match up with the idea of an outlet store pricing. I can go to the Grandville mall and get the same "clearance" prices there. Overall it is a well maintained and beautiful setting.

I joined when the outlet opened and today was my first visit into the lounge. It is a one stop shop for just about anything you could think of. My favorite shopping destination!

I actually worked at the location, so I knew how efficient and well kept it was. For upkeep, looks and security, it was the best I have ever been too. If it MIGHT snow, they salted, if it did snow they continued to salt and plow all the time. If you lost something, they were on it ASAP. The whole place is well built and beautiful. French string party lights, big awnings and charging bars/stations. Plenty of places to sit! Bathrooms were well kept and SO BEAUTIFUL. Their downfall is the UTTER lack of parking and good shops. You expect getting a deal at the outlet, and TONS of parking. Nope, people would park all the way across the street, on special holidays they had shuttle buses from the local high school. And for the deals, expect little. The home stores are great, Old Navy. But WHBM, MKs, Vera Bradley, etc, same pricing anywhere else.

If you are a frequent buyer then you should go for the membership it's yeilds you lot of perk from free redbook to preferred parking. If you are hungry you got couple of restaurants within the premises and starbuck is just four min walk from the mall. This is one the must visit shopping destination for thanks giving. Don't forget to tryout the Lindt hot chocolate it's delicious 😋

Columbia can' seem to have to have stock of items you need, even when they say they get truck loads almost every day. The prices are not Outlet anymore like they used to be from a Tanger Outlet. Even the Howell one has changed to mall prices. You just have to price check all your purchases.

Tanger has a wide variety of stores including places to eat. It's easy to stop in and buy exactly what you're looking for or spend hours walking and browsing through every store. The outdoor walkways are clean only thing you need to consider is the temperature. If it's cold make sure to bundle up between the stores!

I went to the outlets on Easter Sunday, and while only about 1/3 of the stores were open and the greeting staff at H&M were terribly rude, the customer service desk made up for all of it! Columbia had posted online an offer for the day that the first 100 people to the store would receive a gift card. I showed up early and well, turns out it was a misprint and they weren't even open that day! I double checked with the service desk, they confirmed the Columbia outlet was closed, but instead gave me a gift card that I could use at any store! Very kind and thoughtful. Thanks.

I have been here four times since opening weekend. There are stores here that are not at other outlet malls. This is a very nicely designed mall, but there needs to be a few more places to eat, not just a Subway and Auntie Anne's Pretzels. A Starbucks is opening later this year. The closest restaurant is across the street and just enough distance that you need to drive and then you lose your parking space. I have found good sales at the stores and friendly team members. This mall is a great addition to the Grand Rapids shopping choices. It is only a 30 min drive for me so I definitely will continue to shop here.

Great place!! Only when they have promotions giving away giftcards and you receive a text telling you to show the text to guest services to get your gift card, that is all you should have to show!! It never states anything about a club card or drivers license, if they need to see those it should be noted in the promotion texts that are sent out! Very frustrating after standing in a long line!

most of my experiences were super, however, in two stores while they had plenty of help only a few were running check out stations. I am sure that what they were working on was important,but ignoring long lines of customers who want to buy makes no sense. I saw three different shoppers put down merchandise they would have purchased and walk out of the store. I hope they will return at some future trip and give the stores a second chance.

I was a little skeptical at first about shopping at the Tanger Outlet here in Michigan. It supercedes my expectations by far. I love the childrens play area. I have received awesome customer service in all the stores thus far. The wait in the lines are reasonable. The benefits of being a club member are a plus, i usually have problems with low sugar and keeping hydrated while shopping. Just interacting with God's people exhibiting Love is so much appreciated. As of right now i give it 5 🌟. If anything could be improved, maybe think of adding a Coach store to the outlet and maybe a dine-in restaurant. I recommend this Tanger Outlet as a major attraction in Wyoming Michigan for tourists.

The stores looked as if they were dying and on their last leg. We felt like the salespeople were desperate to make sales and pressured us to buy items. It was cold and impersonal.

It was our first visit to this Tanger. It was a nice surprise. Many different stores than in the other Tangers I have been to. Especially enjoyed Vera Bradley and Mountain Warehouse.. Just 2 suggestions for improvement: need more food choices especially where you can sit down and relax while shopping. Also need more customer service reps as we waited about 20 minutes for our coupon books. No one was at the express desk.

Hands down (pun intended), this is the best outdoor mall in southwestern Michigan. It's not the largest mall of its kind at all, but it is exceptionally well maintained and designed. It's very easy to get to from anywhere near Grand Rapids, parking is easy anytime, and the walkways accommodate off season and holiday rush shopping easily. Don't forget to stop by shopper's services for coupons and discounts as they are frequently available and are often either free or worth far more in savings than they initially cost. Also, Tanger gets brownie points for having really great EV chargers on site and up front in the lot.

It is well lit at night, the employees are nice, and I love the coupon booklets. I do wish they had a Coach store (I don't even care that Rivertown is close by) I love Coach. They also need a North Face, that would be great, and a Victoria's Secret. More eating places like everyone has been saying would be nice. Other than that I love it.

When I was getting a couple stollers from customer service, the lady at the desk heard my kids mention how thirsty they were. She was quick to inform me about the lounge with water, coffee and tea. Plus we were able to get my kids good quality shoes that were all quite discounted.

The layout is easier to navigate compared to other outlet malls. There is a big lack of food choice. Prices often are not better than sales in regular stores and on-line; coupon books do help sometimes. It pays to do comparison shopping ahead of hitting the outlet.

The Tanger Outlets has a good variety of stores. However, my only complaint is that I have noticed the prices have gone up. When I first came to tanger outlets it felt more like a outlet mall with past clothing that stores had offered for a cheaper price. Now when I go there it's almost the exact price at tanger than it is at a regular mall. Same clothes, same prices, same sales. I wish they would make it cheaper again and sell the older stuff. If I wanted to go to a mall and not an outlet mall, I would. Especially watch out for stores such as American Eagle, Gap, Francesca's and many more that are identical to regular malls. So I just recommend going to the closer mall.

Alittle chaotic drives to come in off 84th street....a couple lanes..and if you had not been here before as this was my 1st time..its kinda confusing. But definitely a nice outlet mall.

Having Tanger Outlet Mall has been convenient shopping for us. A little disappointed in some of the stores participating in coupon deals and the prices not really reflecting an "Outlet Mall" experience. Just was at the Levi Store this week. Needed jeans for my son and he really likes Levi so we headed right there. Only found a very small section of boys jeans. The store has one complete wall of men's jeans and the other wall is women's jeans with a small section of clearance jeans along with one small section of boys jeans. Sorry, didn't look for girls so I can't help you out there. Section of boys jeans was a disaster. On the more postive part of the trip, the 2 employees were very helpful when looking for a certain size and willing to go looking in the back for a size that we could not find. All in all we like the mall.

It is always a great experience visiting this Outlet! Music playing through out, and lots of chairs and tables all about in which to take a rest. I would suggest adding a few picnic style tables ..many travel from afar to visit, and it would be nice to enjoy a bite to eat and be able to sit down and do it!! Not enough places to get Food at the mall, so many may bring their food with them. If you want people to stay and shop, they are going to have to grab a snack or bite to eat to keep them there!! Just saying! So make sure there are plenty of places to sit and take a break!!👍💖

I really like the layout of the mall here. It has many great stores. Restrooms are easy to find. The only thing I dislike about the mall is that the stores don't have very good discount prices for items being in an outlet.
