We went into the China buffet in Rogers plaza. It's one of my favorite places to go. I've always loved their food they've got a good selection it's worth the trip.

Each strip mall has its own unique setup. Rogers plaza has been around for a while, and they're always trying to improve it. It's a great place to go walk around. You don't have to wait as long as that secretary of state either. Bonus! 😃 …

Great place to go if you need to go to Secretary Of State, or the Post Office, or even working on a project and discover you lack the right tools for the job you can hit up the Harbor Freight for a quick and friendly tool purchase. Place is always clean and quiet. Security guard/s always on duty. Improvements could be had like if you ever park in the back (which I recommend do to less foot traffic) you will notice the speed bumps regardless of if you can see them or not. My first time driving back there I didn't see the speed bump until I went over it a little too fast because they are not painted!! Blend right into the road, although there is a slight difference in shade of black do to the bumps being put in afterwards so they are slightly darker.

This is a great place for events, the famous Metro Cruise is held here and is an excellent classic car event. They have lots of food trucks, multiple bands, kids events, vendors, and of course a really big collection of classic cars. The mall itself appears to be struggling and tenets routinely come and go. There are however many discount stores here that seem popular.

Not busy in the hall ways. Very quiet like. The popcorn store was open and it smelled great. Had to go to the Amazon locker to pick up my packages. It was inside the Fed Ex. store. Fast and easy to do.

Shoe Show has great prices and wonderful people working there. We found a great pair of men's dress shoes for my son for his brother's wedding and he was so tickled. I was tickled at the price, woohoo! :-)

I work out at the Planet Fitness gym in Rogers Plaza. It's conveniently located near several stores I like in the plaza: Harbor Freight, B2 Outlets, the Post Office & Secretary of State, and Ollie's Bargain Store. Also, across Clyde Park is Aldi which I frequent weekly and sometimes several times a week! The parking lines just got repainted which is really nice for telling where parking spots are.

I am a total lover of Office Max! Super great place in my eyes, not to mention all the stores I have ever been to that are Office Max affiliated have been loaded with all my needs PLUS some! So I give Office Max 5 plus stars and I highly recommend shopping here for ANY office/school supplies! If you need anything faxed, printed out or even certain items that may need to be shipped by Fed Ex or UPS try hitting up your local or closest Office Max bc they all have different services that they offer to make the lives of secretary's, teachers, or anyone that works in an "Office" type atmosphere more easier and absolutely hella less stressful. If you dont have an Office Max in your area I'm super sorry however Staples is just as great of a place in my "perspective" or "personal opioin"! I dont doubt that either place can meet whatever office related needs or crisis you might have so my advice for your is just stop in and take a few minutes or hours whatever you have for time and look around at all the great deals and gadgets they have for improving and making your job as a secretary, teacher, student or whatever occupation your currently in on a everyday basis easier and maintainable! Just my personal opioin yours may be different but I highly doubt it!!

The plaza itself is pretty dreary, but it has the things you need. Quick and easy shopping, post office, food, and SoS. Robinson popcorn is a gem and I have to stop there every time I visit the plaza.

Great place to walk with the family and/or friends. Sometimes I just walk with my mother and other times we take the neighbours children. It is a pretty calm place where we walk and do laps around the inside. We shop for shoes there sometimes and sometimes clothes. It is basic and beautiful in its quietness. We always seem to go when there is less people around. Since the Covid 19 thing started I have not gone so I hope people get healthier and look for Jesus because we need to support businesses and the economy right? It's not a bad shopping mall there is just not a lot of stores open in this mall, a lot of the businesses close up so there is a lot of empty spaces in the building. But the places that are open in the mall are really nice. Also they have a secretary of state inside of there as well which is a plus. A very nice nail salon, also a hair cutting place, restaurants inside, clothing stores, there is also a insurance company inside of this mall. Overall a good place to go look around and do some shopping.

I went in the afternoon so it was very quite and product displays were full and placed properly. I went into a shoe store and I was happy with the appearance and product display. I found a pair of sneakers and also a pair of boots that I really liked. I stood by the shoes for way too long never received any service! Im a nut for cs and the lack of cs cost the store $185 today and possibly my future business! Too bad

Chinese buffet and Mexican restaurant along with a food court. Never ate there. I went for the secretary of state. They are always busy but it's not a bad wait. They have a good system for lines. I also enjoy the store next to secretary of state. There is a lot of home decor, it has ALOT of rugs, bedding, furniture and more. Great pricing

They are trying so hard to keep this dying mall alive. Matter of fact typing that just caused me to bump it up from a 3 to a 4. With that being said don't expect too much from this small mall. One thing you can expect to see is a lot of Mom and Pop shop's that might not be there the next time you visit. Two perks of this establishment is they have USPS store and a secretary of state ( probably what's keeping this place alive ) Don't expect to be in and out of the secretary of state though. Matter of fact take a seat you're gonna be there awhile. I've seen waiting lines of over 2 hours. If fitness is what you're looking for though they just added a Planet Fitness, which seems about right cause people have been using this dying mall for a place to walk laps for year's. After all that being said I have decided to drop the rating back down to a 3. Sorry guy's I tried.

I took my 17 year old grandson to the Secretary of State out at Rogers Plaza. And they are doing a pretty good job of keeping the number of people to a minimum by making people have an appointment to enter. The 4 star rating is because they want a ridiculous amount of paper work for a minor to obtain their first state id. And even though we thought we had all bases covered one of our pieces of info we were bringing was online and they had such a poor internet connection in this office it took us 15 minutes to find a spot to pull it up. So my suggestion is if you're going to this particular SOS make sure you have everything printed up that you need.

I only give this 5 stars out of nostalgia, this was once a thriving and wonderful mall, it has since suffered. I have always loved going here and still do during the summer months, yes there is not much to see however for me it's a simple place filled with memories and fun times.

Love the fact the U.S. post office, and Secetary of State is In the mall. It's very clean in the mall, and they are so nice to let people power walk the lobby. Also there is security there. Just wish there were more stores to shop at.

They have a lot of options and things to buy as well as a large variety of stores. The halls and bathroom are well kept and it's a relaxing experience visiting this place. My trip was for the DMV and, as expected the DMV is slow as molasses. The upside was there was a lot to do while waiting in line to get our paperwork. The DMV location will text you when it's your turn in line so you dont have to sit in the building for 3+ hours, which is very nice. In the three hours we were waiting for our turn in line at the DMV, we got some food to eat, looked at the furniture store to se if there was anything we needed and even had a few free samples of popcorn from the shop near the entrance. While the area around the building is less than desirable, once you go inside you would think it's in a rich neighborhood. I would definitely recommend to anyone with time to kill or spare cash to spend.

The few places that are open in this sprawling plaza seem to be offering some great things for the few customers who walk through. The busiest place is the office of the Secretary of State. Without this bringing people here I'm not sure any of the other businesses would survive.

I've seen it in better times. Used to love the place. People have said it was the first mall in the Grand Rapids area. It's still well maintained. They seem to always have available space but they don't pull in the shoppers like they did in the day. Am glad it keeps going.

Very soon Rogers Plaza will be even better place to Stop & Shop with the addition of an Ollie's bargain store. Their motto is... Good stuff cheap... It's a fun place to shop you can get many many items that are less cost than all the other guys. Can't wait for their grand opening and have an Ollie's closer to home. After having two previous appts. at two other places n being cancelled without notice was very unprofessional and disappointing . But today her stylist was Rhonda and she was Absolutely terrific and took such care and patience, for my client is handicap . She definetly know her craft and how to treat her clients . I went to Harbor Freight and to Office Max and both places were well lit,well stocked and had friendly staff. I reccomend both of these places. And I'll be going back to Harbor Freight on the 13th for a HUGE sale. And even though Office Max was unable to provide what I was looking for, they looked online to find someplace that did have it.

Conveniently located next to a fuel station, Kens Market, and a Goodwill. This location offers a Chinese buffet, Secretary of state, Harbor Fraight, plant fitness, Jets Pizza, and Kings Room (barbershop). Plus some I may have forgotten. The parking is nice, restrooms are very clean, and a perfect place to walk indoors on those cold days.

This is an update to a previous review done in mid May. This update is from July 2, 2019. On a recent return visit, they have now filled the potholes and the parking lot is now greatly improved. This is an old mall, built the same year I was born (1962). I grew up a mile from this mall, and I remember it being a very busy place in my youth and teenage years. Over time newer, shiny-er malls have taken most of the attention, and even though there is as much vacant space as active space, I give them credit for trying. Previous review is left intact below. ** If you've got a rugged vehicle and are looking for a place to do some rough off roading, look no further than the Rogers Plaza parking lot! This place would be a challenge for even that moon buggy from the 70's! There are craters in here that can rival the Grand Canyon! I sure wouldn't recommend driving a Mini Cooper in this place though, you might fall into one of the hundreds of deep holes and never be seen again! If you come here in the family car, be very careful. This place is down right dangerous!

We were overcharged $30 on our bill and while it was quickly corrected when we went back in, had we not looked at our receipt , we would have been out that amount , to top it off the customer in line ahead of us, was back in complaining about the same thing. Yes the store corrected both cases quickly, but why 2 customers in a row? How often is this happening there?

Rogers Plaza has been around for more years than I remember. Many stores have come and unfortunately gone, but there are still many greats places at Roger's. One of my favorites is Ollie's. Oh my, what don't they have. I ❤️❤️❤️it. Sooo much at rock bottom prices: sometimes too much for the trunk lol. Besides the SOS being the busiest best there now, there are many conventions that set up shop there every year and the precious mineral and gemstone is hands down the best. I bought rings from there every year and after this silly virus passes, I'm gonna do it again! Thank you Roger's for being a staple in the community and for being the first place I remember them calling it a mall. Lol A+.

A strip mall. Very oddly set up. Some stores you can only have access to from inside the mall. The rest (most stores) you can only access from the street. The first time I went there I was so confused that I just left. Never seen such an odd set up before. They do have a secretary of the state and a post office tho which is handy. Just opened an Ollies last fall which is vey similar to big lots.

This small used to be happening when I was a teenager but it's a little slow now. I go here a lot though the post office is located here and OfficeMax which has a FedEx drop off. Secretary of state is here and they are pretty proficient as far as the state goes.

LARGE variety of stores are here although there seems to be a large turnover rate. The parking lot is not exactly user friendly. The lines at one point look like they were hastily painted on and now aree extremely worn down. There are no arrows painted on the drive areas making driving into and out of the plaza a bit messy. Winter time it becomes a sheet of ice seemingly due to little to no salt and a poor playing schedule and that must be known locally because every time I go to the Panda Buffett there are plant of people using the parking lot to do donuts. The strip mall seems to be well maintained and sidewalks are clear of any tripping hazards.

Had to renew my tabs, or this dying husk of a mall would not be on my list of errands. Near some alright stores, but this place smells like neglect and desperation. It is possibly the weirdest mall this side of the state. I hate parking downtown so having the Secretary of State in it is convenient.

Rogers Plaza has serviced me in a multitude of ways going as far back as my youth. They have had great stores come and go throughout the years and I still frequently visit it to this day for one thing or another. Secretary of State and the US Post office are both located inside. Also, it is the ultimate training ground for power walking workouts.

Rogers Plaza offers many different types of stores and restaurants. You can get all of your shopping done within the plaza as there is even a grocery store and a gas station. Purple Haze behind the Marathon gas station offers some alternative options and needs. Try this shopping plaza out as I know you will love it just as much as myself, my friends, and my family.

I generally only come here for 3 reasons. one being the post office inside comma the other is for Secretary of State, and the last is because my gym Snap Fitness is in this Plaza. The overall Plaza just has a feel of being a little worn out and the parking lot needs a lot of repair there are lots of potholes. I wish they would just do something to liven the place up a little bit or give it a facelift because it is a great location but it just seems like it has become a little bit run down over the years

So glad we came for the annual Rock and Mineral Show presented by Indian Mounds Rock and Mineral Club! Rogers Plaza is a great location for such an event. It has lots of open space to wander all of the wonderful booths set up. There are so many beautiful specimens to see, buy and learn about! The vendors are all very kind and willing to share their knowledge with people who ask. We got to meet the famous Paleo Joe and talk to him about his favorite places to hunt for fossils in Michigan. Great experience! If you missed it, be sure to check it out next year!

This is a nice small Plaza. I used to go there years ago so they have updated it and kept was the trend. I found it easily accessible, and parking for the handicapped was close. The prices in the different stores or comprable and fair.

I only go here because of Harbor Freight. Cheap tools that actually work. Yeah I get it then they're not DeWalt or Milwaukee but when you need a cheap angle grinder for 9 bucks Harbor Freight is where to go. Awesome store

Used to be a nice mall type shopping center but over the years as with other areas most stores have gone out and there's not much left. Old Country Buffet restaurant used to be the one thing left that brought me here but with them gone now I find myself stopping here rarely anymore.

This us where my Planet Fitness is. The Secretary if State is here also, but go to a different office because this one is always understaffed and has long waits. They have an app that you can use, but when it gets close to your turn it goes very fast and you might not make it to the office in time. Post Office is also there. It's not a very busy mall and has been semi vacant for years. But Wyoming has a plan and is redeveloping the area which may help. But it is a convenient locale and there are other handy businesses.

Rogers plaza is a mini mall with a few popular venues like The Dugout, The Grill Hut, Adina's, Robinson's Popcorn and the Secretary of State, which keep it an ever relevant place to be in Grand Rapids. I drive an hour to go to Designer's Dugout in here. I always leave with a smile.
