Sometimes I wonder if Hyvee is still a "grocery" store? With as many other things as they sell now it's hard to tell. Still have decent products though. Their meat is always excellent as well. Customer service is awesome!

It smells dirty. Like spoiled maybe it needs to move shelf's & clean under them. I used to do inventory in big grocery store's. The one in pleasant hill, And the one on Euclid doesn't have that stale, musty smell.

Please cut down the whatever it is that is at the end of every lane! They are difficult to look around without pulling out to see cars coming. I'm sure you can find pretty flowers of some sort that don't block the vision of those in your parking lot.

In this time of uncertainty of available products & their delivery, HyVee employees keep up to date on the products they're responsible for. I have to arrange a ride to HyVee, so I called to make sure the product was in the store. The employee checked & even counted how many were left, so I wouldn't make a special trip & find they weren't there. FANTASTIC! Also, I Luv free delivery of my prescriptions 😊 I'm So Happy, Thank You!

I used to work here so I know how most things run. Hy-vee runs their staff and business relatively well. Items are restocked weekly and its usually easy to find an employee to ask questions. I haven't had any problems here as a shopper so I highly recommend shopping here!

Pros: Clean, updated, friendly staff, fuel rewards program, convenient, good prices. Great sales prices. Cons: Because this Hyvee is located in a lower income area, the food choices arent the same as higher socioeconomic areas. The Army post Hyvee and Fluer Hyvee are very good examples of this. Much less health food options. They also tend to Jack up the price on ebt items & tack fuel rewards perk cash on those EBT approved items to gain sales. Prepacked mac salad/slaw/beans is often seen doing this. These usually have less net weight, are a day old, have big fuel rewards points, higher price than the same non pre packed hyvee brand stuff, AND displays a EBT approved sign. Minus one star for being shady. No Yo-J Lastly, customers at this hyvee tend to park at the entrance and block traffic frequently which makes traffic flow slow.

Busy place with a good selection of stores. Grocery shopping, movies and retail stores are amongst choices but no restaurants other than Hy-Vee. Clean and lots o parking.

I love this Hy-Vee. The managers are always friendly I love the new self checkouts. I can imagine how overwhelmed some of the staff can get I feel like we need to be more greatful of what others do for us during this time of covid. So many people put themselves at risk so we can eat. So bravo!

Was in the Dollar General in this shopping center. Let's just say I'm glad I went there during the day because I don't think I would of felt very safe in that area at night. But will say the ladies were very helpful that were working in the Dollar General.

Would Always be a pleasure to be here but this location is always packed so social distance can be a issue. They do have some amazing options of food to choose from though. Just have in mind what your looking for to reduce time spent inside during the present conditions.

Love Hy-Vee and their amazing sale prices. Their produce, bakery and meat counter items are always fresh. Hy-Vee donates its bakery items that are a few days old to local food pantries instead of putting them all on a rack at reduced prices. Truly a great store to have in the community!

It's nice the Goodwill store is open again. 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. HyVee is open until midnight. Dollar General is open until 9:00 pm.

The employees are quick to assume that you might be a shoplifter following your every movement my husband and I love going to HyVee and have never stolen anything. The sugar it's always hard as a rock might as well by your sugar at Walmart much better quality there Walmart internal just has a lot better prices

This came up for Review and I am not sure where this is ?? I went to Hy-Vee for breakfast at Park Ave and SE 14th St here in Des Moines, I can only gather that it is the Hy-Vee Complex located at the address already stated : ) food was good, I had eggs over easy, American fries and toast with a Hot Tea. The Waite staff was exceptionally nice and attentive, could have been we were the only people at a booth/table, there were two gentleman seated at the Bar. I was there with a friend at 8:30 am, it seemed the Perfect time, no wait, no hassle,plenty of parking available also. I did stop by Customer service and drop off a package to be mailed, the person who helped me was very nice. Great place, I will go back : )

Love the few stores the mall contains. The parking lot is poorly made and could use some repairs. The nail salon is very good. It also has the Salvation Army there now.

Beautiful area and great prices, although during the evening hosts a rough crowd. After going here and stopping by the gas station just up the street there was a police officer doing an investigstion of sorts inside the gas station. Definetly a place to go during the day time.

I basically live here. Love the fuel savers at Hy-Vee. Dollar General when I need, Goodwill for occasional odds and ends, CiCis Pizza makes a cheap family dinner, and Buffalo Wild Wings wings are the bomb !

Really one can not complain, there is everything one should need right here, let them take Sears and Younkers. Marshall's has a basic summary of Younkers at what prices should be, though Kay's throws that theory right out the window. There is Target for everything needed from electronics to make up, power tools to towels, etc. Party Supply store, Carnival Shoes, Sprint( or something like that), a low end cheap clothing store, a sports shoe store, and last but not least Hy-Vee with a mini food court, a pharmacy, a separate liquor store, a very nice Health food section and not outrageously priced household goods. So, how was that for a sum up. Basically, if your not looking for a specific specialty item, not to say that you will not find it, you should be quite satisfied.

We usually come to the HyVee here, because it is super convenient since Veridian Credit Union also has a branch in this location. But the HyVee isn't all they have to offer, you also have Jay's CD and Hobby (lots of stuff for those interested in geek culture), Dollar General (has some occasional good sales), Salvation Army Thrift Store, as well as Buffalo Wild Wings and CiCi's Pizza restaurants. Honestly not a bad little shopping area, but I don't recommend going to the CiCi's Pizza, the location is absolutely disgusting.

I went to Hy-Vee here which is in a strip mall & not in a inside mall & Southgate shopping center is a strip mall but anyway it is a very good place to go to get what you need & they are open 24/7 so you can get fast & go on your way & the employees are very helpful & friendly & they have pretty much everything that the other Hy-Vee's have.

I stopped here to check out Jay's CD And Hobby and I was blown away. It is geek heaven. Retro Video Games from every system imaginable. They even sell peripherals for those glorious old consoles from my youth. You rarely see Atari 2600 games in a hobby shop anymore and when you do there are usually around 10 of them and put of the those 10 it is a forgone conclusion that 3 of them will be Tank and the other 7 will include Pac Man, Defender and Yar's Revenge. Not here though. They have Super Nintendo games N.I.B. with the H seal still not cracked. And if your gig is action figures there are hundreds of them. Hundreds. Jason Voorhees. Michael Myers. Ash. Freddy Krueger. LEATHERFACE!!! And I have never seen a store with as many POP Figures. There is also a healthy selection of movie memorabilia and current generation video games as well. And like the store name implies there are some pretty hard to find Cd's too. And a fairly decent selection of old vinyl to boot. There is a game room in back that hosts Magic tournaments regularly and if you are a tabletop gamer, look no further, they have you covered there as well. And as a bonus there is a bin by the front door that has little toys that they give out free to the next generation of gamers, so while your little one is on cloud nine with their free toy, you are free to walk around and drool to your heart's content. I have found the promised land. And I now know what true Nirvana looks like. I see a lot of trips to Des Moines in my future. In the VERY NEAR FUTURE!!!
