With the closing of Staples the only thing keeping this area vital are Target and Lowe's. Hopefully there are plans to revitalize this area.

If you're looking for REAL SEAFOOD at low prices like you would find down south, this is the place to go. I usually have to go to Georgia to get seafood prepared like this! The shrimp is not skimpy like you'd find in scampi and you have your choice of heads on or off. Also a plus, they slit the back of the shrimp to devien but leave the shell on. All you have to do is peel down each side to eat it. No more fighting the shell. If you like blue crab, I suggest you call ahead because they sell out fast.

I have to give town and country 5 stars because it has a little of everything. Stores move out others move in..this whole area and a across the street is slowly becoming more modern and contemporary. It gets 5 stars for having a small variety. It used to host major national brand stores...if it gets 1-2 more national retailers I bet many people will give it a 5 star!

Large variety of items comfortably priced. Great choice for some shelf stable and/or canned goods. Lovely staff and if you're not in too much of a hurry it's a convenient in-between shop instead of a grocery store. The key to successful shopping is to choose items you regularly stock the pantry with. Do your research since many items are packaged to look like the ones we buy at the grocery--but are China-made copies. Toothpaste, for example, should not be purchased. High turnover is a concern. Lines form due to under staffing. Carefully pick shopping days and times for the best shopping experience.

All your shopping needs can be taken care of here. They have a wide assortment of stores. And when you are ready to eat, the restaurants can handle a snack to a full meal. And there is plenty of parking, plus large handicap areas. Even the restaurants have a large parking area, with handicap parking areas.

I guess online shopping has really hit our actual store front businesses pretty hard these past few years. I remember a time when every shop & store front in this shopping center was occupied and busy. I for one am not going to like the idea of not physically being able to try on my clothing and shoes before purchasing. On a positive note the Dollar Tree I visited was by far the most organized, well kept Dollar Tree( or any other dollar store) I've ever shopped in.

This store has very good parking. The customer service is very helpful and friendly. The store has Lots of good stuff and it's clean and organized. I try to visit this store at least once or twice out of the week. THEY have a program that's called Roundup that helps the need of the Goodwill program where you round off your bill to the nearest dollar, great idea. This is my favorite Goodwill store around Columbus!!!

Now I can honestly say that Town & country has been the same way for the last 20 years since I've baby coming down here to visit and you still looks the same but it's always a great place to shop it has the best cheapest stores but you get the best clothes.

This place is historical, I believe it is the first strip mall in America, maybe the world but in good ole USA for sure... For that fact alone it's amazing it's still here... It used to have the BMV and you took your tests here but that was many moons ago.... I read a few reviews on here about it and it's amazing people blame the neighborhood and it's problems on the center, it's not to blame the people coming here are..... One review said there was trash everywhere, well show me a place that does t have trash all over..... It's the people coming there that throws down the trash and since they don't have someone who walks around 24/7 you blame the center.... They do what they can and they do have someone who cleans but he isn't there all day long..... The place gets updated all the time and the parking lot isn't full of holes so someone does care and tries to keep it nice..... Nobody can keep up with crappy people who don't care I'd like to see reviewers try to do better, I bet they wouldn't last a week let alone decades.... They have tried to keep it up and going and like I said off the start it's the first one so to still be here says something..... They even have ripped down some of the bad parts and rebuilding so yes the owners are trying you can blame society problems on them they can only try to adapt to what's going on..... Yes some of the stores are lower end ones but the neighborhood has went downhill so the big stores have moved on to better areas of town and when those get bad they'll move again..... But T&C has not given up in all these years and for that reason alone it's worth a look at and give it a shot..... Better shoppers will result in better stores coming back it's just how that works......

I was in Town and Country to go to Staples for some ink for my printer. I haven't visited T&C in a long time. But it looks good. There was no trash all in the parking lot. The buildings were well managed. Overall it was a pleasant visit to see an old friend!!

Nothing like it used to be but there are still nice stores to shop at & it has Chipotle, B Dubs, Taco Bell and Bob Evans 2 eat at. Shoppers world has good deals and I really like Rue 21 when I shopping for clothes. The area is really improved & their still building new business all around the shopping center.

Kroger on broad customer service is horrible. And there's always store employee walking around,& not enough cashier help. So a 15 min quick Milk run always turns into a 45 minute waiting to be helped game.

I know I know. It's not what it used to be BUT it's still here and they have the ONLY Ashley Stewart store. They have Chipotle which I love when they're sans bacteria! The post office is worth bypassing the one on Livingston which is actually closer to home. Nice staff and very quick!

This was the PREMIER development for shopping centers ... the FIRST for this experience...when this area was originally built (before "MALLS"). It has been renovated many times.... not too bad.... at least it still exists. No Anchor Store anymore. Lowes nearby. Various fast foods. a TARGET store across the street.

The post office at this location is top notch with plenty of courteous service on hand (ie *nothing* like the Bexley branch of the post office on Main Street). Plenty of free parking in front of the post office. There is sometimes a line during the holidays, but the staff keeps things moving and will allow customers to jump the line if they stepped out to apply postage or labels to their deliveries.

I love going to the one on Steltzer road because for one, they're clean and the employees all wear their hat with their hair pulled back. I live to see that because I use to worry about hair falling in my sandwich. I went to the one on Livingston Ave next to Popeyes and got home took a bite and a long strain of blonde hair was in my mouth i was so angry i took it back along with the blonde hair. So now i go to the one on Steltzer, they're so much more cleaner.

This is NOT a mall. But it is America's very first Shopping Center, modernized since the original 1940's opening. It pioneered a suburban cluster of stores, making shopping trips closer to home much more convenient than trekking to downtown Columbus. Larger anchor department stores are gone, but a great many shops thrive at "Miracle Mile" in Whitehall, Ohio. I go there for US Postal Services, office supplies at Staples, and Kroger. I see a lot of dress and accessory stores, an appliance repair parts' store, fast food chain stores, and there is a Target, too. You may park near the store you want, but stores are stretched out on both sides of East Broad Street for half a mile. Handicap parking and store entries available. Free parking in open lots in front of every business. Clean and well maintained by owner, Casto Corporation. On COTA route # 10. Bus operates early to late, 7 days a week, offers frequent service East and West and connects with routes all over the area with free transfers. A visit to Town & Country Shopping Center is a rewarding experience!

I grew up going there since 1960's. It is really neat as it is the 1st shopping center of its kind built in USA back in the 1950's and to this day there are good shops and now in recent years a post office, too. As for value and good things that is there, too.....sad, though, is gone the nicer shopping stores, like the Union. It would be great to bring in stores that have more expensive brands because surrounding the shopping center is still rich people's from bexley, new albany, Reynoldsburg, and more. Plus a good mix of fun places to play at is missing like in the old days.

We parked directly to the side of one of the two stores we were going to, just as a thief was coming out of the store. Consiquently we were reluctant to get out of the car let alone go into the store for fear of the possibility of the theif returning. We went to the second store.

This is the outside shopping center with lots of food places and clothing store you can find good Chinese food and new development although I don't know why they closed down BW3 and Applebee's that was right down the street that made me a little mad cuz I had a taste for Applebee's and it was like 10 at night.

I always enjoy coming here to shop. I love the fact that it's outdoors and have benches where you can stop between shops. I'm glad to see more merchants have joined in the mall party! I'm looking forward to more eateries to come in the future! A lot of shops are closing and parts of the strip mall are being torn down. Check first if the place your going is still there. Post Office, Staples, BW3, and couple clothing stores are still open but everything else is closed or have "closing sale" signs up.
