We decided to leave our vehicle and walk to the Ave, less than ten minutes walking from our hotel. I was thankful for the well-thought-out relaxing atmosphere and seating for guests in the open-air square surrounded by lush planters. The excellent selection of restaurants made up for the limited amount of stores. You can easily choose from comfort food to not your run-of-the-mill Mexican food at “Banditos to Shusi. There was ample parking and several security officers on patrol. I would stay at this location again just because of the proximity to the AVENUE.

I love this place! It's so neat and less crowded. They have most stores there and places to eat. Barnes and Nobles, Ulta, etc. The buildings have these fun paintings and colors on them. In the winter, they have an outdoor skating rink.

I love The Avenue. Outdoor shopping malls/town centers have never been my thing but this place has infatuated me. It is always clean outside, there is a great variety and places to go and the cinema is very nice as well. There is a Barnes & Noble which earns extra brownie points and several restaurants at the Avenue as well, which all seem to be very popular.

Awesome awesome outdoor shopping area with book stores clothing stores shoe shops and a big movie theater along with very very good restaurants some with breweries and places to take a rest and let kids play. Everything is walkable and wheelchair accessible and there is also plenty of parking. It's an awesome place even if you just want to get exercise in window shop you can walk up and down both sides of the shopping areas and get a good walk in or just something to do to get a quick lunch and get out of the house this place is awesome.

How about those cute little penguins on ice? I'll admit, I didn't ice skate but it's really popular. I must come to The Avenue at least once or twice during the holiday season to see all the adventures, dine and shop. I enjoy everybody having a great time and the decorations and lighting are always so lovely.

It's a nice place to eat, shop and play. It's clean and nicely laid out. Besides shops, they have a multi-screen movie theater, plenty of restaurants and an ice skating rink in the winter.

It's a beautiful outdoor shopping mall. Has a nice venue where there are occasionally events. Probably the most expensive real estate around for local businesses. This place has a reputation for high turnover. Every time you go there is some new place. Nice for customers, not so great for the businesses they entrap into crazy expensive leases.

Love the avenue, nice place to go out as an middle to older sdult not exactly a young 22 year old or younger unless u going to movies or just getting food. But the bar scene nice, always good time (for most part) and not sure if they still do it because I'm not in my 20s anymore but I like how they don't let young kids just hang around anymore like they use to! Great relaxing spot with multiple restaurants bars and theater. Easy in and out at night and when u love close like I do great all around

On Friday nights they provide a band which performs outside for all to enjoy. The Avenue of White Marsh is one of my places of choice for dining and shopping.

The new pumpkin mule on the drink menu should be avoided unless they can fine tune the recipe. It was the first day they released it so I imagine there was some first day trial techniques to work out. You know it's bad when you can't drink a cocktail- hope they work it out- sounded like a good concept. I did get charged for it even though I sent it back (which I hate doing.) The crab cake was awesome but beware mkt prices right now.

Parrking is a little limited. However, there is such a variety of shops included eateries. This is a great place to go shopping especially with the holidays around the corner.

Curfew is a bit unrealistic. Don't feel like I'm looking to cause trouble walking to Chatime after 5 with my girlfriend. Definitely don't feel like I need to be escorted off the premises and followed to my car because I'm 18 and my girlfriend is 16.

I absolutely love this area! I had rough day with car breaking down so I rode my bike there. They have areas to lock up your bike while you relax by the lawn with some delicious bobba tea. I was able to enjoy the beautiful day on the lawn while writing my second book. It was truly amazing.

Every City should have an area designed like The Avenue. The central area with live music surrounded by shops and restaurants is the most inviting plaza style shopping I've ever experienced. Sitting and relaxing in the chairs on the courtyard turf while listening to the music and watching people eat very relaxing.

The Avenue at White Marsh offers a variety of shopping and dining options. An open-air mall, you can shop, see a movie, grab a drink, or enjoy dinner. the Avenue also sports a central recreation area, in which you can play corn hole, lounge in a chair, or simply hang out. So far we’ve visited Barnes and Noble, Midici Neapolitan Pizza Kitchen, and Red Brick Station and Brew Pub. Pictured are the adult and kid fish and chips from Red Brick, the pizza from Midici, and the common recreational area.

I have visited the Avenue with family for shopping and great eating experiences for years! Everyone in our family loves The Avenue. There is a nice selection of stores here along with some good restaurants. They have an ice rink and a movie theater (selection of movies needs work). Overall it was a good time. The kids loved the ice rink and the fireplaces outside are a nice touch for the adults who just want to sit and chill.

We just moved to a new area. So I'm just getting to know White Marsh area. So far, it's really great but I only visited the movie theatre and corner stone ice cream shop. Both employees were really friendly and professional on their jobs. The movie theatre chairs are so comfortable and they've opened up more of their menu. The do it yourself machines helps to get in faster and with the least human contact possible(for those people who's scared of COVID-19). Corner Stone has the best ice cream, in my opinion! And the fact that you can add more goodies to it, is a huge bonus for me!

The food was good. They don't sell everything they advertise on the neverending video at this location. Also I want to relax and enjoy my food but the check came out while we were still eating. They didn't even ask if we wanted anything else. Maybe we wanted dessert. I felt rushed.

There's alot going on over here nowadays. I haven't been here in years but stopped into Barnes and noble and of course my love for books loved me back. Sidewalks clean on the outside ND the rest of the stores and restaurants around seemed to be fairly busy. Not crowded busy but a nice little bustle where you can still walk and have a private conversation. It was relaxing to say the least. I was with company but personally if I just wanted a day to myself where I could walk to think and not feel like I was being watched or feel like I looked dumb by myself.

A very very lively place but jeez parking is complicated and people seem to think they own the road, jaywalker included. There are random arguments over parking which can be entertaining. The circle thing in front of the theatre is rather annoying primarily because some people don't know how to park correctly when dropping people off. Also, watch out for the kids that are there in boatloads, they don't really look up when walking

I love coming here. I've been coming here ever since I was a kid. It's changed a lot over the years, and I love the changes they've made! It looks so pretty, especially by the entrance to the movie theater (the entrance that's facing towards the rest of the Avenue). I do miss Don Pablo's though. That was my favorite Mexican Restaurant, but it seems like they have a new Mexican Restaurant that I have to try (I unfortunately forget the name of it, but saw the restaurant on my way in). I also have this thing where every time I go to the Avenue, I absolutely have to stop by ChaTime because they have the best Boba tea ever!

A good atmosphere for families and friends. I would advise the avenue to anyone who wants to go on a date or just meet.

Lots of food options, very lively, especially in the warmer months when live music and attractions take stage, and entertainment in the center across from the main "square". Definitely reccomend exploring your options before going to any single establishment, as youd be surprised what youll find seemingly hidden away. Plus, mall across the street adds a whole new set of opportunities for shopping.

Someone referred us to this restaurant to try Ramon. I had never had Ramon from a restaurant before and wanted to check it out! I was not disappointed! I loved the presentation of the food and the taste well worth it!! Not only do they serve Ramon but they offer different Rice dishes and Sushi as well!

Went to go see Jurassic Park with my new 6th grader. It was a damn good movie *whispers (but I fell asleep not sure if 3 minutes or 30 right after she asked if I was sleepy) I popped back up and back into place like nothing ever happened though. I just wanted to show her that despite what we are going through when she produces fruit I'm going to go above and beyond to reward her because she achieved something. The movies is where she wanted to be and AMC it was. I still prefer the movies at Towson more than this one. However glad I was at the movies cause at the end 2 elderly guys fell at the bottom of the stairs and the one was bleeding from his elbow so I was able to get help for him so they could patch him up. So I was here for a good reason afterall.

Only went to Carter's for this 1st time, but saw Barnes n Noble, Old Navy, Chico, Hallmark, Ulta, that's only a few...it was nicely landscaped, very clean too. Carter's had wonderful customer service n great selection. There are lots of food choices in & around nearby. I will definitely go back to Carter's & more stores also. Great place for shoppers.

Red Brick station is over rated. Over priced, small portions. Slow wait staff. The movie theater is nice. Comfort seats. Clean bathrooms. I would say they need two employees at all times at the concession stand. If not a manger needs to step in to help. Chills has good food, descent bar area. Barnes and noble is great for the kids. Perfect size Bath & Body works. Good selection at Old Navy.

I love shopping here. There are plenty of food places to choose from for lunch or dinner. There are nice shops including Bath & Bodyworks, Old Navy, Yankee Candle, Barnes & Nobles, Hallmark, just to name a few. There are clothing and shoe stores, a nail salon, an Ulta Beauty where you can purchase makeup, hair, bath and other beauty products, there's a hair salon. There are phone stores. I love that I am not enclosed indoors. Most of the year there is a large grass area with chairs and tables where you can sit and have lunch or dinner from one of the nearby restaurants or paly some lawn games. Sometimes there is a band or other activity available. During the winter they convert that area into an ice skating rink that my teenager enjoys going to. It really is just and all around nice place to go.

Great shopping experience; I haven't been there for awhile and I was readily impressed on the cleanliness of the surroundings. Police were frequently patrolling the area in their vehicles so it was peaceful and pleasant. People I saw today were social distancing and wearing masks making me feel comfortable while shopping. Would have given 5 stars BUT some of the drivers entering the parking lot were not paying attention so be alert when walking around.

Great location for shopping and entertainment. You will see some complaints about teens and disturbances. I personally have never had a bad experience and the property management team is engaged in implementing policies to ensure customer safety. Great dining options. New places pop in and out frequently. But there are a few tried and true Mainstays.

Great selection of of shops and eateries. It was really nice to just walk up and down The Avenue with no particular place in mind to go. I ended up eating outside at BurgerFi and was pleasantly surprised with one of the best burgers I've had in a long time.

Great place to walk around. The fountains are very aesthetic. Since of the shops are overpriced and it gives off a high class vibe. It does have a good selection of stores and there's always the movie theater if you wanted to catch a movie. Great place to spend a weekend afternoon.

I didn't actually go to the mall my visit was to Staples.. I was able to receive fast assistance with one of the copiers that was not working properly. When I needed additional assistance staff was readily available and directed me accordingly. Though some of the items could be on the expensive side I still like shopping there because of the treatment that I receive and the friendly staff that I am often met with. They do continue to expand their inventory which keeps me interested in shopping there and they're able to pretty much meet your needs I do intend on shopping there again in the future

I love the Avenue. We have so many great memories over the years ❤ From watching the holiday parade since I was a little girl. To visiting the various shops. My favorites Ulta, Coldstone, Hallmark. They added an ice rink in place of the fountain. AC MOORE closed up. I was sad to hear about that. I loved having a craft store nearby. I used to take my little sister to craft days. This is a photo from a few year ago at the parade. They had a contest and we actually won a $50 giftcard to Ulta 😍

It's is a great place for all. There's a good selection of fast food and restaurant choices. Italian,Mexican,Asian and American foods in variety of price ranges. Outdoor dining at restaurants as well as seating at some takeout establishments. Desserts are available with Cold Stone ice cream and a cupcake establishment. Dessert and a quick bite can also be had at Barnes and Noble. This is a great place if it's rainy as kids can play in children's book area. Casual seating is also available with benches and chairs near play areas outside for children. The sculptures of children scattered throughout the property are amazing. They also have fountains and shaded areas.Good shops and services for cell phones as well as a bubbles hair salon. The movie theater is also there for entertainment. I ate at Korean bowl and hope that more people frequent this seemingly overlooked place. It offers a choice of rices including brown, multigrain and white. They offer rice, a protein that includes meat or fish,as well as a wide array of fresh and cooked vegetables. I've been there twice and both times it's been pretty slow.

It was nice to walk with my mask on. It was amazing as the stores had sales and the sales people wore mask. There were bottles of hand sanitizer at the door and the merchants were grateful for your presence. Justin at Bath and Body was great!

They've done a great job with upgrades, new restaurants, and security that keeps any idiots from bothering anyone or ruining the area in general. Highly recommended, makes a great night out, I always enjoy eating somewhere then taking a walk and looking around in barnes and noble.

Very cute little shopping center with a good variety of stores and restaurants and a movie theater. Basically a strip mall with a center street with sidewalks and street lights, which gives it a quaint feel. I really don't like coming here often. Parking is limited and hard to find, people are rude and everyone thinks they are better then everyone else. They've been doing extensive remodeling and I have to say it's for the better. Lots of great places to eat and shop. They have a central area that acts as a play area and concert venue which is converted to an ice rink during the colder months. Fun way to walk around and enjoy a nice day. Good proximity to White Marsh mall as well.

The Avenue is a nice place to walk, shop, and browse. Our favorite time is Christmas when we go to watch the holiday parade and enjoy some of the festivities. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because there's not enough stores that interest my taste and budget. Also finding disabled parking is always a nightmare. However the management for the Avenue have always been friendly and supportive to us.

I went to the Curious Oyster with my sister. The place is nice, and while the weather was a little warmish for the winter, they had a window open and it was a little cold inside. My sister had to keep her coat on the whole time. We got the steamed shrimp with potatoes and onions and a side salad. The salad was tasty with the Goddess dressing. It had a light flavor to it. Somewhat fresh taste. It was nice to have the shrimp peeled. The only thing is, the steamed shrimp wasn't hot, like it came right from the steamer. It was tasty, just on the warm side instead of hot. (That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars.) Our waiter was awesome. Sorry I do not remember his name since I am writing this a month later, but he was rather jovial, someone fun.

I've always been a fan of the trendy outdoor lifestyle shopping centers that have popped up to replace indoor shopping malls in the past decade or so. The Avenue is a beautifully appointed, fun little shopping destination which has quite a bit of charm. In the past couple of years, they've worked to increase the amount of social space including adding a great big yard with lawn games and a stage for local artists to perform.

Last time I was there I saw they built this huge lawn type area for people to sit and their kids can run around and play. I think that looks so modern and cool. The Avenue has improved greatly! They had repaved the entire thing. They added new restaurants. There is an outdoor space for games and kids to run around. They have rocking chairs and fireplaces. During the summer they play outdoor movies and during the winter ter the change over to an outdoor ice skating ring and beautiful Christmas tree. The movies at the Avenue has be remodeled as well. They is always security since they can draw a large crowd.

The upgrades are great. During the winter they added an ice rink.. Cute!!! And during warm weather its a small play area for family. It has outside games and chair swing. The seats are bittersweet at the movies. Even though their so comfortable you can fall to sleep and I have. I kinda hate having to pick early. It makes it that much harder to seat with family and friends.Plus if your in the wrong seat of course you have to move!!!! 🤬🤬🤬.But all and all its a nice peaceful place to relax,eat,drink,and enjoy a nice Saturday or lazy Sunday.. Parking can be hit or miss. But the fact that the bus comes to this area is a great help... Bus would be the brown and 56. Barnes and knoble is always a hit for me. I love books. The kids had a blast and the remodeling process is making the entire venue eye-pleasing to adults. There's a good mix of stores and restaurants. It's a good place to shop, eat, or see a movie. Plus, it's across the street from White Marsh Mall, if you require department store services.

This is a lovely, enjoyable promenade that is the antithesis to the gigantic mall across the street. I'm very much NOT a small shopper, and so "The Avenue" is right up my alley. The stores and restaurants are of the type you'd frequent (B&N, Red Brick Station Brew Pub with outdoor seating right next to the spot where, in summer, outdoor live, free entertainment on the Avenue itself). The stores and restaurants seem to have very little turnover because they do well. I am not a lover of movie theatres, but if you are, the AMC theatres there are nice. Parking is ample and non-confusing. Staples, Michael, Old Navy and a couple of others are the large anchors.

The Avenue is full of tons of stores that at least one of them is bound to catch your fancy. I love the fact that they have a Barnes and Nobles as well as Cold Stone Creamery so close to the movie theaters so you have things to do when waiting for your movie to start. The atmosphere is wonderful and I always try to make it a day trip when I go there because I can spend hours upon hours in most of the stores.

It's fine and pleasant. I think it's still a stop for the Hello Kitty Cafe truck. You can't play Pokemon Go or Harry Potter W.U. here, they got rid of that stuff (including an EX gym). The green field becomes an ice skating rink in the winter. This place is pretty generic. You can find all the stores elsewhere with less crowding. I liked being able to run errands here while playing mobile games. Without that, this place isn't very special.

The remodeling has transformed everything, a mixture of retail and food here. Nice place to spend a few hour during the week. Only issue are the juveniles that get dropped of and run around being rambunctious. Nice location its in and its nice at nights now because of the weather. It gets tight and narrow when people are walking along and inside the avenue itself but you have to proceed with caution because its not a space where you should go fast in the first place.

The rules have made it a nice place to go, but the parking situation isn't great on weekends. They've been remodeling the area, but I think it's actually just crowding the walk ways and they sold their overflow parking to a sky diving place that most people can't afford and a Texas Roadhouse that's always too crowded. Just a sneaky way to try and fool people into paying for valet at the theater. The whole area seems to be failing.

Me and my fiance live and work close and come here often but I'm leaving the review because of our new tradition. For the last two years we have come around Christmas to ice skate. Never ice skated before last year but she talked me into it. The rink they put in is decorated great and very festive. And there is plenty to do before or after. Shopping, eating, see a movie. Plenty of ways to spend your money! But seriously I enjoy taking a night and spending it with my SO. The avenue has given us something fun and simple to do together.

Thinking of the amount of money you spend per beer per person, this was worth the price and was more than enough. I am loving this area of Whitemarsh! I love how it continues to grow and how many new stores pop up! I am considering moving to this are. You have your quick shops, pretty decent restaurants and the movie theaters here. During the winter months, you even have the ice rink, which is pretty nice. The parking isn't the best, but you can find a spot within a few minutes.

I love this shopping center at all times of the year. This is where my favorite Barnes & Noble is located, and my family frequently chooses restaurants here for birthdays. While I don't participate in ice skating or cornhole, it makes it so much more fun to visit. The AMC theater here is great too. Whenever I see a movie, I come here.

They have done an extraordinary job Reinventing Andre framing a whole structure this place now that it's been very inconvenient with parking and businesses have suffered due to such a mass Reinventing of New Roads and sidewalks and new face of the buildings but I know the long-term will that way it and it's making it developed into more family field environment. It wasn't a family base company for what they Avenue is looking for as a place to not just eat and drink but also to walk around have a new ice skating ring the playground area. I will say though that some of the security officers are very rude and disrespectful and that could be addressed in a huge amount of way.

The Avenue is the nicer of the two things at white Marsh. Features a movie theater which is getting remodeled at the time of this writing and it looks like it's going to be very nice. Good places to eat and a Barnes and Noble. And most importantly a curfew for kids under 18.

I haven't went here in a while and there a lot of new stores here. It's a pretty good place to shop and the mall is located right across the street. They also have skating in the winter. A lot of the younger crowd seems to hang out here, and at the mall across the street so it's always crowded.

The Avenue is a great shopping area with free outdoor entertainment during the summer months every Friday and Saturday starting at 7pm on the lawn/beer garden (with adjacent Red Brick Station having great outdoor seating). I went to see the avengers endgame! It was a great experience! The food didn't take long to get, the line wasn't very long. I got pretzel bites. Cinnamon sugar. They we're pretty good! 👍 there was staff dressed up like Captain America! Nice touch! The theater was clean andthe seats were very comfortable! They reclined, and i didn't have any issues with them,although someone in a row behind me did, but they quickly fixed the issue. The staff wss courteous. Three movie was amazing. I will definitely come back and recommend to all my friends and family! Thank you AMC for a wonderful experience from beginning to end!!!

The Ave is a place of ups and downs, while it is host to core stores like Red Brick Station and AMC, it is also a revolving door for other stores as there seems to be some controversy with other businesses spontaneously disappearing into the ether. It's not a bad place to come for a small walk and find a verity of places to eat, but as much as it gets visual upgrades I don't think it's enough to keep up with the times.

Great place to go to the movies, and get a bite. The shopping is a little lacking for my taste, because most of the stores are not all that great. Old Navy, for instance, is always a mess, and their sales are terrible. The Hallmark store always advertises a huge clearance sale inside, and it will be 3 items on a table...and that is not after it has already been picked over. AC Moore only has basic stuff...no real supplies that will last. The Visionworks is lacking in frames, and they always say they are too busy to do an exam, even when there is no one else there, and everyone is just sitting around. So...I only go for the movies, and dinner sometimes.

They have upgraded and changed alot. They deleted the pond by the amc theatres and place activities here such as swing set, giant checkers with pieces and benches. There's a good bar right next to it and they have late night times sometimes. I think movie nights once in awhile. Ice cream parlor, ice skating rink during winter, pizza place, burger joint, clothes/shoe stores. Craft store. Candle store. Small sports store. Old navy. They have ATM's. Benches around the avenue. The avenue has really improved within the last couple years! Its a pretty cool place to walk around, especially around the holidays. They decorated with huge pumpkins around halloween and now its a huge Christmas tree and pretty lights! There's various places to eat for any price range, and plenty of places to shop. Ulta, barnes and noble, and the new chatime bubble tea place are my favorites! The ice skating rink looks really nice, too! You can go there for dates, shopping, a quick trip, with family, or just something to do!

This is the place to go when you just want to get away and hang out for awhile. My favorite thing is to wander the Friday farmer's market and then grab a slice of pizza and people watch in their park. I especially get a kick out of watching the kids playing and the dog walkers. While you can get some serious clothes shopping done here, for me it's more recreational. I could spend an hour in A.C. Moore checking out the crafts. When the weather is nasty, there's Loews Theater and Barnes & Noble. I understand they also have some good outdoor Friday concerts.

With the Covid situation Visionworks has done a remarkable job with social distancing and disinfecting frames u touched before putting them back on the rack. This is a great place to take care of errands, shop with friends, go on a date, or have time with kids. First, at one end is AC Moore's, which has great craft supplies and good coupons (if you don't have a paper coupon, you can download it online). There is a nice Chilis restaurant and also a Barnes and Nobles with a great cafe, kids section, and sale racks. The Old Navy has lots of good clearance items and fun clothes to try on. In the middle of the Avenue is AMC, which offers $5 tickets on Tuesday (see their website) and a fun park opposite it for little guys and pets to stretch their legs and play. The Carters store is a good stop for nice baby/ kid clothes and ULTA, Pier 1,and other stores make for fun browsing. Parking is not always great depending on the time you go, but I have fun good parking by Staples on the side lot.

I think the ave is a great place to hang out, always something going on, you have the park in the sumer and ice skating in the winter, music live bands, games for the kids, the one thing i could get me is the security guard over policing with the food, its still an open and public place, and i get they want you to buy food there, but come on is it really that serious, its not prison, people still budget, and a big family might pack a sandwich so what, can we get the security people to lighten up
