On our visit, this flea market was pretty nice. Not at all over crowded, and there were quite a few vendors selling a wide variety of goods. Most were very friendly, and it was an overall pleasant experience to visit and shop here. It's not a fancy place! But you will likely find a wide variety of merchandise from various vendors here.

Very chill environment. Love the River Ridge Center. Been to Music & Arts, Gabes and Black Bear BBQ, banging vegan dishes for a BBQ place btw if you haven't tried. Gabe's was like Target but like the Dollar Store version of it? I've only been there a once or twice but I did find a really cheap pair of cute yellow sneakers for 20 bucks, can't beat that nowadays but admittedly it only lasted for a couple months but still a great experience at this Market Pl. Thank you!

I shopped at Hamricks and Cabes. Only problem I had was the check out line at Hamricks gets a little long. Even though they have 6 or seven registers for checking out. Guess my problem with both prosthetic hips. No problem at Cabes. Both are great places to shop.

Great clearance prices. Big selection. The store is a bit crowded for my taste(with clothes, not always people). The non clotting items tend to be interesting and at a variety of price points. Shop early in the season for holiday clothes and get what you want when you see it, it may be gone before your next visit!

Nice stores. Mr.k's uses books is still there. Hooey &company is now where AC Moore used to be. And there is a neat little thrift store next to Mr. K's. J&S cafeteria has opened back up. They remodeled the inside. The food is still delicious.

River Ridge has a wide variety of different types of stores! There's something for everyone. There are so many that I don't even know about all of them. It's an easy place to shop. They have a nice smooth parking lot with plenty of parking. All of the businesses are handicapped accessible. There's a craft shop, several restaurants and clothing stores, just to name a few. I highly recommend you go by River Ridge Market Place and, see for yourself, all that they have to offer! Happy shopping!

AY Carumba is one of the best authentic Mexican food restaurants in Asheville. Seating is limited but wait is worth it...or you can order to go...the guacamole order is made fresh at your table. Highly recommended.

Nice little shopping center with great used book store, ac moore, a gaming room which is full of hard core gamers playing dungeons and dragons one night and each night for different games. Very good home cooken cafeteria with a great prices. Plenty of parking.

First time there. Went to eat at J& S Cafeteria. Great food there. Lots of choices from main dishes to salads to vegetable plates and reasonable prices. Didn't visit any other stores. Lots of parking. Easy in and easy out.

Sad to see them going out of business but unfortunately I am seeing why. Went to their going out of business sale 2 times now. The first time bought a 36x48 canvas and got it for $20. Went back yesterday to pick up some more because of the great prices and everything canvas wise being 50% off. Didn't pay attention to pricing as they were not in the correct locations. Got back to the car, looked at my receipt and they had upped the prices of the canvases then put them 50% off. So the same canvas that I had gotten a week and a half before for $8 was now over $12! I get they are going out of business and trying to recoup as much money as possible but don't take advantage of the people that are buying still trying to support you!

I really like this area. There is a shoe repair there. A rarity these days. A very good McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Mexican food, hobby store, and so much more. And close to the ZOO! and all major Interstates. Also close to Biltmore Village and the CASTLE, the Asheville Mall, the greater downtown area of Asheville, and us on city bus route! Great!

One of my favorite stops! For crafts, you cant beat AC Moore, wish we had them in CA. Gabe's is a hidden gem if you love to hunt for bargains. Hamricks is also great for deals on all sorts of items. Great retail stores, places to eat (fast food, restaurants), clothing stores, Aaron's rent-to-own, a music store, a bookstore, a crafts supply store and a furniture store. Mall rental prices may be driving away some businesses. My wife and I intentionally avoid the McDonald's at this location for its unfriendly staff, consistently mistaken drive-thru orders, and long wait times, all of which have plagued this one for years.

It is also close to everything else you might possibly need, with places to stay, places to buy books, and places to buy just about everything else, including foods of every kind you can think of! This place is easy to find because it is easy to see from the Parkway and from any street that you're driving down. It is easy to access everything from here.

Pretty good stopping point for a variety of things. Great food options, J&S cafeteria/Webos BBQ, Asian (But never eaten there), options for McDonald's and KFC. Give us a tool store/guy store kind of place to and traffic will increase. Probably one of the best locations around, easy on/off from the interstate and not having to deal with Tunnel Rd traffic.

I frequent CVS and Dollar General often. CVS River Ridge is my Pharmacy of choice. The store is excellently cared for, pharmacy is reliable and quick to deliver product and answer any questions fully and all the staff is friendly and very helpful! The Dollar General always has good deals; however, the story is small and cramped and does not offer a visibly appealing selection of products.

I grew up in Asheville Fairview mostly. River Ridge has always been the local Shopping Center love to J&S there used to really like the Rugged Wearhouse they've always got something for everybody in one of those stores then if you're in the middle of shopping want to take a break there's always something to eat for somebody there not to mention the view

River Ridge has quite a few stores and places to eat. All the way from craft, game and book stores to CVS, clothing and beauty stores. There is also the most incredible shoe and purse repairman shop around the back of the building across from the J&S cafeteria. Trust me, those are very difficult to find these days.

Mr. K' s bookstore where an Eckerds drugstore use to be, a Hamricks clothing store where a Wicker Mart used to be, a J&S cafeteria, McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, a few other stores and a CVS pharmacy.
