Allied Universal is a good starting job, college job, or 2nd job, providing ok benifits, part and full time shifts that cover a myriad of times and hours. Pay is okay to average, depending on the site you're positioned in. Management is a complete roll of the dice, and communication is about as consistent. The fact that corporate is based out of California (and various account offices are scattered elsewhere) means that it lacks the care, personality, and empathy of smaller or more local companies. In short, it's a corporate machine stretched too thin, which means decent opportunities but a not-so-great environment. Overall, not the worst employer. However, not a place you'll likely want to stay for long.
