All honesty and truth I'm glad I have chosen Reliance security. As I have put in my time and efforts and trust with this AMAZING COMPANY i get to finally enjoy getting to work with such AMAZING people I'm still New with the company BUT putting in the work, time,, patience, loyalty, commitment and value can get where you need to be...just working with everyone has been a truly big blessing. I was recently hired by Mr. Gibson for an event at a dispensary they had. Mind you when I had arrived to there office to apply the office was closed since I arrived to late. I had seen and noticed a number on the door and gave it a call , a lady answered who must have been the secretary who put me on hold to see if Mr. Gibson had time to see me before he went home for the day. They were very welcoming and let me apply last minute. My first event was a really good experience and the guards I got to work with were highly professional and stayed productive. Mr. Gibson has to be one of the most understanding operations manager I've ever worked for as he worked with my schedule while I was slowly getting into his company. He has always been open to throw me gigs when I wanted and needed them . I see growth and potential with this company and see opportunities for the guards who stick with it and show their dedication.

We have been using Reliance for about four months now and have found them to be extremely competent. Their response time to problems is immediate. Other companies we have used can't do that. Their system generates an email to me immediately for every issue that occurs on the property, I do not have to wait for a report to be sent, and I do not have to be on property. They are well worth a look.

Decent company to work for until the implementation of tracking software that you're required to send a report through every fifteen minutes on a company-owned smartphone (They might make you use your own phone now; I'm not sure). I understand that most guards don't do their jobs but for those that do the tracking software is both an annoyance and a hindrance versus writing reports and keeping your own field notes because now you have to worry about using an app and sending a photo over 30 times in a day if you are full-time instead of just doing your job. Besides that it's mostly just like any other security company. They'll give you as many or as few hours as you want if you do your job and show some initiative. Their uniforms are a lot better-looking than most security companies (Good quality, button-up shirt in border patrol green. Wear your own black pants, or tan pants for supervisors. Event polos are orange). Those complaining of a uniform deposit have probably not worked in security prior to this as it is standard. Now a lot of people are saying this company is discriminatory and maybe I can shed some light on that. In the past, I've worked for several local guard companies that discriminate against certain employees and I can say confidently that Reliance isn't one of them. I will, however, say that like a majority of companies to work at as a guard in Vegas the ranks are absolutely filled with all manner and type of ghetto people. Sometimes they find themselves working dispatch, sometimes they get away with stuff that would immediately get you fired, and sometimes these ghetto people cause the supervisors to make generalizations about all the guards. All of that will annoy you to no end, but I've never seen anyone judged, disciplined or otherwise acted towards or against in any manner for what I (as a non-white dude) perceived to be racial motives. So basically it's like most security companies in town. I did not have armed status when I was working with them so I don't know how many or what kind of armed guard contracts they have. I do know that I never saw Reliance give anyone a referral to receive their armed certification. I ended up getting mine through another company and I can say pretty confidently that I was a very good employee with Reliance so it seems that they're like most places in that they're fairly unwilling to help you get armed. Hopefully this was able to help anyone considering working for Reliance. God bless.

Iv been with the company over 4 months .. So far its been good. Ron has been great on giving me every other saturday off to visit my 8 year old daughter back in los angeles .. Tks Ron! I can only show my gratitude to Reliance by being a pro.. Keeping the client pleased with job performace on site. I like the uniforms.. As long as the gaurds look sharp .. Clean.. And ready to earn a paycheck.. You will be a first string starter in the field.. You will be taken care of.

I moved to vegas in march by the beginning of april i was working for reliance security. Now working for them has its pros and cons the pros are ron is cool he makes sure everybody gets hours he really cares about the security guards and that doesnt happen often on any job 2. lucy is a doll she is disbatch she will bang yo line if you slippin on them reports tho but she koo...whenever i go to pick up my check the young lady at the front desk i feel so bad for her cuz if the checks are messed up she get it the worst but she takes care of the guards if there is a mistake...now the cons are getting paid you might get a few checks that will be short but ron will be on it asap i really love working for reliancn just wish we had pay raise periods or something....other then that show up and on time do your job and go home...

Seem so unprofessional. I missed a call and called back. The guy who answered sounded so careless and responded with "you didnt get a call from me mabye from someone else in the office" and just hung up which doesnt make sense because the number i called was the same number that called me 30 seconds ago.
